- Angel (6/5): - It was great
- Avisha (2/5): Terrible Stay - They do not let you sleep. The noise is throughout the night till morning. Water or ice dispenser makes noises whole night.
Toiletries are limited. Breakfast for R130 rather get a McDonald's. Will be more worth it. Whilst you eating they clear your table?

- Keletso (4/5): - There was no toilet paper and soap
- Lincoln (6/5): No sleep - I was awake since 2am ,the noise from the room opposite me was disturbing. Constant banging of doors.
Otherwise staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.
- Khanyisile (6/5): - The price is too high for such small rooms, in my room there was small toilet paper, already been used and no extra one. the aircon was not working properly. The staff were awesome though, very helpful and efficient, friendly too. I felt safe all the time.

- Gregory (8/5): - Its rooms are nice and soom
- Kholeka (10/5): - We had a very good stay at Road Lodge Durban. The welcome by Slash and team was super, especially that we were granted the early check-in as they could see we were tired from a cruise. Thank you👏
- Francis (8/5): Mr - It was good that I got a smoking room. However, there was no ashtray in the room, and I had to obtain a used Coke can as an ashtray. At the reception, there is a stench, I think, from the laundry. It is not good at all, you should see how to make that one go. The air conditioner in my room was not responding to the remote; maybe I do not know how to operate it, so an instruction manual would come in handy. Otherwise, I liked the place.
- Maphelo (8/5): Birthday blast - It was very clean, room service was up to scratch, the staff were friendly and they kept the room clean at all times.....one of the staff members by the name of Yenziwe went an extra mile to organise a surprise gift package for my partner as she was celebrating her birthday on the 16th
- Thabo (2/5): - Smelling cigarette
- Mi (2/5): Legalised Brothel - it was absolutely appalling. Doors do not lock. Prostitution is rampant no consideration of guests. the bedding is filthy.
Showers are appalling.
Not a place to take kids.
The whole visit was totally disgusting.

- Fikile (6/5): - Service was good, and the room was clean, however the doors are very loud when they close them. It was constant banging, disturbing peace and it’s annoying. Number 2, you restricted windows on the ground floor, you don’t put air freshers, how do you expect us to us the toilet and still be in the same room? Number 3 no handwash, or sanitizer, no shower cap
- Kamal Sammy (8/5): - bathroom was difficult to share because it was me and my daughter and the Shower is just a glass door.
Window was half broken

- nakisai (6/5): Reasonable Price good Location - The location is very good for those going to the ICC, there is a damp smell in the rooms.
- Phiona (6/5): - Good location
Clean environment
Good security
I wasn't happy about getting a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room that I had requested.

- Annon (8/5): - Ok. I will say this. Then, I will say this. Then this and that and a little more Thor this and that.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Basic and Simple - Water pressure in the shower was intermittent. In room desk phone has unresponsive buttons. Other guests were noisy and no one from the hotel noted or addressed. Check in was good, no lift so luggage became a problem we had to leave some of the items in the car. Housekeeping was good.
- margaret (10/5): - My stay was superlicious, welcomed very well
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Convenient location to MSC Cruise Line Passenger Terminal
- Thulisisizwe (10/5): Excellent - Place was clean and friendly staff
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not so good. The shower leaked from the fitting. There was no phone in the room. The tea/coffee was used by possibly the previous guest and an empty box was left for me to utilise
- Lindamkhonto Gah (10/5): Better than fourteen years ago😊 - It was as good as I last worked here part time fourteen years ago in the times of Mr. D. I was pleased to see Ashraf, a humble and welcoming person.
As for the person who once worked here, I expected safety, cleanliness and confortability and yes I must say, they haven't deopped the standard, I believe they are leveling up the best service delivery. I was happy to return and sleep over here.
This is the very best lodge in Durban!!!!!!
