- Christiaan (1/5): Met gierende banden weg! - Prachtig uitzicht De duurste kamer van het hotel en zeer grote achterstanden in onderhoud. Als je rond de 400€ ex ontbijt per nacht voor een kamer vraagt dan hoort alles tip top in orde te zijn. Spa, ontbijt en andere faciliteiten achterlijk duur. Zwembad gesloten (was vooraf bekend), maar alternatief extreem duur.

- KARINA (8/5): Un séjour relaxant, mais onéreux. - J'ai aimé l'environnement, l'emplacement ainsi que le service du personnel de l'hôtel. La chambre était en dessous de mes attentes : une seule chaise dans une chambre pour quatre, un lavabo trop petit et trop bas, des oreillers trop mous, un seul miroir. Je trouvais aussi que le prix du spa ainsi que le temps alloué était exagéré pour le service qui était proposé.

Mon frère vit de très graves problèmes de santé pulmonaire. Arrivés à la Bergerie, nous avons réalisé qu’il n’y avait pas d’ascenseur et que nos chambres étaient situées au deuxième étage. Nous aurions aimé être informé lors de l’accueil qu’il fallait monter un escalier dans cet immeuble. Ce fut la seule déception de ce séjour.

- Rachel (5/5): Très déçue - Il n’y avait pas de douches dans la chambre tel que mentionné. Il s’agissait d’un bain sur pattes au milieu de la chambre ( à aire ouverte ) avec des rideaux. Le lit était un lit double et non un lit Queen Le téléviseur ne fonctionnait qu’à moitié. Les postes se figeait et le WiFi était excessivement médiocre. Incapable de télécharger que de simples courriels. Et il ne s’agissait pas d’une véritable vue tel que mentionné. Excessivement décevant. Il y avait une fenêtre très haute perchée de la quelle nous ne pouvions attendre pour fermer le store… donc trop lumineux le matin.

- Connie (7/5): Super ambiance, - Le bain-douche difficile d’accès à enjamber et la ´raining shower’ ne fonctionnait pas et dans tous les hôtels Germain habituellement fournissent des bouteilles d’eau gratuitement qui ne fut pas le cas. On a pris la peine d’aller réserver à l’avance au resto et l’hôtesse(Julie) était réticente à nous accorder l’heure souhaitée car il y avait un groupe de 20, elle a tout de même pris notre réservation. Arrivée au souper l’hôte nous a dit qu’on avait pas de réservation mais nous a tout de même accommoder. Que les bouteilles d’eau n’était pas disponible à la chambre et que le temps qu’on a pris pour aller réserver en personne pour le souper n’a pas été réservé.

While the hotel itself was beautiful, set on a lovely farm with a great farm-to-table concept and eco-friendly initiatives, the service was a major letdown. From the moment the staff realized we weren’t from Quebec, we felt unwelcome. We had been warned about the lack of friendliness, but we hadn’t believed it until we experienced it firsthand. The service at the hotel, as well as in the village, was so poor that we ended up checking out a day early. It was disappointing and frustrating, and we would not recommend this hotel or the area to others.

- Jean (10/5): - Tout ! Quand, c'est parfait, y'a rien à dire. ou plutôt, si !, bravo ! Les communications ! Et ici c'est de vous que je parle, pas de l'hôtel ! D'abord, on nous dit qu'un frais sera ajouté à notre note pour le chien ; ce que nous avons très bien accepté. Ensuite, je reçois un message de confirmation, me disant que ma demande (pour le chien, je présume, car je n'ai rien demandé mis à part la chambre) avant été acceptée par l'établissement sans frais. Je me dis : « Bonne nouvelle, voilà qui est mieux encore. » Mais fausse nouvelle, puisque ce frais nous a finalement été ajouté. » Quand j'en ai fait la remarque au comptoir de l'établissement, on m'a répondu qu'on ne se portait pas garant des informations données pas vous. J'avais pourtant bien lu, dans un message venant de vous, que l'établissement était complètement solidaire de vos messages. Avec le résultat que, en conclusion, nous nous sommes mis d'accord avec la réception pour faire nous réservation par téléphone, à l'avenir, ou sur le site de l'hôtel. Bravo ! Enfin, je reçois, la veille de mon départ, je crois, un autre message de vous pour faciliter, soit-disant la procédure à l'arrivée : EN ANGLAIS ! Non là, là… et pourquoi tout à coup en anglais ? Évidemment à la réception de l'hôtel, ce n'est pas eux, mais vous qu'il fauta blâmer pour cela ! Bravo ! Bref, si une chose est venue gâcher un tant soit peu notre séjour, c'est vous, dans vos communications. Tout cela nous met de très mauvaise humeur. Heureusement que l'hôtel était absolument parfait.

- Jeanne (7/5): Un havre de paix, mais qui se paie ! - L'hôtel était très agréable et très bien situé, à proximité de baie Saint-Paul. Les chambres sont modernes, spacieuses et confortables. Et il y a possibilité de manger sur place, ce qui est fort agréable. En revanche, le prix est très élevé comparé à ce que l'on peut trouver dans la région. Et si ce prix se justifie par la présence d'un espace bien-être, il est important de noter que celui-ci est à payer en supplément si on souhaite s'y rendre, ce qui a été une très mauvaise surprise. Je trouve qu'il n'était pas indiqué assez clairement que l'accès à l'espace bien être (largement mis en avant dans l'annonce) devait être payé en supplément alors que le prix de la chambre était déjà très élevé. D'autant que le petit déjeuner n'était même pas comprix.
- Daniel (8/5): Relaxant, beau, chaleureux - L’emplacement, c’est chaleureux, les animaux, le spa sur place. Le petit déjeuner au restaurant Les Labours. Buffet bien décevant, les plats étaient froids, le choix de fuite très limité, les viennoiseries semblaient venir d’un paquet de supermarché. Pour 35$ on s’attendrait au moins à un café de type espresso inclus. Bref,‘allez ailleurs dans la ville. Il y a de bien meilleures options pas loin.

Il pourrait y avoir un menu un peu plus diversifie pour le souper au rest le Bercail, cela est le même menu que le midi . Peut être ajouté 2 a 3 choses de diffetent pour le soir.
- Meggie (7/5): Moment de ressourcement en amoureux - Le lit était très confortable, propreté salle de bain, chambre mais déception pour la vue qui ne donnait pas sur la cours. On dirait que puisqu’on était en hiver il n’y avait pas tout ce qu’on nous promettait, pas d’autres animaux que les vaches. Pas de patinoire fonctionnelle. Le service dans les restaurants je m’attendais à mieux. On ne nous expliquait rien c’était un service correct.

- Dorothy (6/5): Nice grounds, nice hotel, expensive for what it is. - Jessica, at reception, was professional and friendly. We found the bed and the room in the Clos building too small and she expeditiously found us an upgrade to the main building at a reasonable price. The proximity to town is great- everything is within walking distance and Baie St. Paul has great dining options and many art galleries. Kids will like the animals and free bike usage is a plus. Service in the dining room was poor. We were seated and forgotten, having to flag down staff for service. It also really annoys me that this hotel does not have a 4 season pool - it’s a 4 season resort. Paying $60 per person to visit the spa for pool use is not a satisfactory alternative.

- NickP.. (9/5): Location and property surroundings were perfect - Location and property surroundings were perfect and main hotel was beautiful. Staff at reception were very friendly, accomodating and professional. The room we booked on booking was very small and not located in the main hotel building. The shower/tub was bordeline safe. We were able to change/upgrade to a nicer room in the main building, however we had to pay an upgrade fee.

Nous avons visité cet hotel surtout pour profiter du spa et du restaurant « les labours ». Nous avons été enchanté du restaurant ! Une nuance a apporter: l’endroit est magnifique, confortable et propre mais si vous recherchez une l’atmosphère authentique d’un chalet de bois canadien peut être que l’ambiance spa resort pourrait vous laisser sur votre faim… Nuance bis: nous avons trouvé l’accueil de l’hôte de reception froid.

- Marine (8/5): - La chambre est magnifique, spacieuse et propre. L'hôtel est également très beau et atypique. Situé à une dizaine de minutes à pied du centre de Baie Saint Paul. Enfin le personnel est très accueillant . Plusieurs détails à mettre en regard du prix de la chambre (plus de 200 euros) : - pas de petit déjeuner compris dans le prix. Si vous souhaitez petit déjeuner, il faudra compter 32 dollars supplémentaires par personne pour le brunch. - dommage de ne pas également inclure dans le prix un forfait pour le spa (+ 60 dollars par personne) - la piscine pourtant marquée comme ouverte était fermée et nous n'en avions pas été informés au préalable, que ce soit avant ou au moment du check-in. - notre chambre était située dans le bâtiment Bergerie avec vue sur l'entrée du bâtiment. Il nous a donc fallu garder les rideaux fermés pour avoir de l'intimité. D'ailleurs, les rideaux n'étaient pas tout à fait occultants et laissaient passer de la lumière. Enfin, notre chambre était située juste au dessus de la salle de sport. Nous avons été réveillés tôt le matin par le bruit des machines/poids utilisés par des clients.
