• 143yvonnem (10/5): Excellent - When staying at this resort, we found the front desk staff to be amazing—friendly, attentive, professional, and especially accommodating regarding my fear of heights when assigning our room. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with no pressure to attend a tour, which we truly appreciated. Our unit was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. We also appreciated the convenience of having the garbage picked up right at our door. After reading some recent reviews, I honestly wondered if they were describing the same resort we experienced. We had no issues with parking or accessing the beach, and the lobby is spacious, making the check-in process easy and convenient. We’re very happy with our stay and look forward to returning again.

• James A (1/5): Never stay at a Wyndham resort - Didn’t get a breakfast. We actually went for their 90 min sales twice! How stupid are we! Furniture very uncomfortable, lighting in kitchen and bath very bad. We left a day early because we were so uncomfortable.

• Nancy (10/5): Fantastic! I will absolutely be back soon :) - We stayed between the 1st and 4th of January. The location was amazing. Restaurants nearby and a quiet location away from the crowds. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was absolutely fantastic to say the least. The young lady at the front desk (goodness I forgot her name- she had short dark hair) was so sweet and welcoming. Pool was heated, and jacuzzi was nice and hot for the chilly nights. Cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Myrtle beach. Our stay was great and we will definitely be back soon! The only fault is in order to get to the pool area you have to go to the first floor and walk across the parking garage to get into the pool so it’s best to keep an eye out if you have little ones with you, but other than that our stay was fantastic!

• Drusilla (8/5): We had a great time while visiting at North Myrtle Beach ! - I loved the ocean front rooms. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The location was great and convenient to a lot of entertainment venues and shopping. We enjoyed being there and everyone was so nice and caring. I would visit again and hopefully with more family members together. The couch and chair in living room was not comfortable at all. It was hard to sit and enjoy. We had to add the bed pillows to sit with ease or just sit at the dining room table. Other than that, all was great!

• martierush (10/5): This resort delivers the most important things! - Staff that is extremely friendly, caring, and responds to requests almost immediately. You truly have a feels like home experience. The location is fantastic, and the property is beautiful with great amenities. I especially enjoy North Myrtle Beach more than Myrtle as it is a little bit more laid-back and not as congested. Believe me you will not be disappointed in anyway!

• 535lindam535 (4/5): BEWARE! No lobby, no front entrance. Everything is through the dangerous parking garage. - I don’t know how this place got a gold crown. There is no logical Beach and pool access. In order to get to the beach you have to walk through the dangerous parking garage. Cars can come from left and right and if you have small children you better be VERY careful. The lobby is on the third floor and you have to go again through the parking garage and they walk through an outside windy terrace to get to the small lobby. There is no front entrance to the building. EVERYTHING is walking through the parking garage smelling gasoline and dealing to caution. No way to spend a vacation. Also the veranda observation room looks beautiful in photos but it is the ugliest in person and needs some fixing up. Again you cannot access the beach from here so back to level one parking garage. A really frustrating and irritating place. I booked three extra weeks and I CANCELLED ALL of them. Better to pay the cancellation fee than deal with this level of stress.

• Vicki (10/5): Amazing beach front resort!! - First of all the staff was amazing! It was our anniversary and they went out of their way to surprise us with a decorated unit! They were so helpful and kind! Big shout out to Ann, MeMe & Lexi!! Also the unit was super clean and nice. Furniture was nice, new and clean. Beds were comfortable and we had all the supplies we needed for our stay. The huge plus was the view!! Ocean front views were beautiful! Also the grounds were extremely clean and well kept. The only thing I can think of is the parking but it wasn't that bad. There are 2 levels for onsite parking and it fills quickly. The overflow parking is across the street.

The room - The room was spacious, clean and had everything you needed in the rooms to include hygiene items, cooking supplies, wifi, etc. the staff were very nice and helpful. The pool, outside area and everything was well kept and clean! Will definitely book here again! N/A

The only issues with the unit were the noisy fan in the 2nd bathroom and the icemaker apparently didn't work (or we couldn't figure out how to turn it on, which is more likely the case). All room amenities were clean and operated well. Our only comment regarding the facility as a whole .... the reception/check in office on the 3rd floor is rather inconvenient.

• Christine (10/5): - This was a fantastic place to stay! My kids are already saying they want to go back & that this was the best hotel they have ever been in. The pool was so cool, with a portion to swim into a “cool” tub (like a hot tub with bubbles but cold water). They have an outdoor and indoor hot tub, a kiddie pool, 2 grills, and a fire pit outside. My kids also couldn’t get over the foot wash stations for when you come back from the beach. The room was really nicely decorated and the beds were so comfortable! The only thing is that your about 25 -30 minutes from the beach skywheel and the same from “broadway at the beach”. Which was fine for us (less people) I really can’t say enough great things about this hotel, except that we will be back but for a longer stay!
• richardlI8240ZL (10/5): Friendly and Honest Staff - great location - We've stayed at Westwinds over a dozen times, sometimes for as long as 3 consecutive weeks. We have always found the staff to be delightful, honest, and helpful. Ann, MeMe, Tiacinao, and others have been at Westwinds for years. The manager, Kristin, is a young mother who is dedicated to maintaining a positive attitude when dealing with customers. We have found the facility to be well-maintained. Common areas, such as the elevators, are cleaned several times a day. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs are a major feature for those seeking a swim or a relaxing soak. The beach area is always clean. We often enjoy walking on the beach or in nice neighborhoods behind the facility. There are dozens of restaurants within 3 miles of the facility. Barefoot Landing, two miles from Westwinds, has several activities for children. A miniature golf course is also close by. We look forward to our next five weeks, already booked for stays at Westwinds.
• LisOnTheGo (6/5): Dishonest Staff - We are longtime timeshare holders. Booked our reservation a year ago. Confirmed with them recently that we could have a particular place in the hotel. When we checked in, the staff was incredibly dismissive. Tried to convince us that all of the rooms are the same, but we have stayed in them, and no, they are not. Said we could go in the room temporarily and they’ll move us to the other one if it opens up. Why would it open up? That’s silly. If it’s not a possibility, just say so from the beginning. Feel disrespected.

The condo was beautiful, clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I loved the onsite activities, which was a plus. The location is perfect. My family will definitely stay when we return for another visit. There wasn't anything that I disliked about this property.

We got there at 7:30 after working half the day and driving the other half we just wanted to get to our room shower and go to bed. There was another couple checking in ahead of us. The lady at the front desk was explaining everything to them gave them their room number & sent them to another lady to get their key. Then it was our turn she needed to know ages & names of everyone staying. This took a little over 5 minutes. She gives us the room number & tells us to see the other lady to get our keys. We had to wait 15 minutes or more for her to finish up with the couple ahead of us. It’s finally our turn and she starts her whole sales pitch and we tell her we just want our room keys. She then proceeds to get snotty with us. Saying stuff like having respect for people and everyone has a job to do etc. I said we aren’t trying to be rude but we are just really ready to get in our room. I really hope they change the check in process because if there was more than one person in front of us. Check in just does not seem like the greatest time to sell people anything.

The resort was clean and well maintained. The unit was so spacious, clean, well equipped. The A/C worked great. Every staff member i had contact with was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Destyni, Tatiana and Anne, fabulous! If only most RCI resorts could compare to this Wyndham property!
