Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): Run down, dirty. - keep looking - Very run down rooms, that are not very clean. We did kill the cockroach room mate, so that made things a little better. But my biggest complaint was the absence of a trained hotel staff to check in our freind who arrived after ten pm. The older security guard did his best, but had no access to the computer system, did not understand that one could pre pay with a online booking service, and with our limited Thai he ran out of patience. The coffee shop around the corner is good, and we did get to watch the Superbowl from our room.
- Paul (10/5): Quiet amongst busy bkk - Good for quiet amongst the huddle bussle of bkk good coffee shop bar next door very friendly staff
- Alena (8/5): Affordable, clean, and cold AC - Room was clean, AC was nice. Hotel service was very kind and prompt, always available when we needed something and even opened the little shop next door early for us so we could get some snacks before our next flight. Only down side was the place is hard to find and we had a lot of trouble finding taxi drivers that knew where it was even when we showed them where it is on a map.
- Paul (4/5): Location was great from impact convention. - Location is great, but hotel facility need to be upgrade.
- David (4/5): Misinformation and Lies - We wanted something close to the Impact Arena for an upcoming concert, so selected U Apartment based on, Price, Location and the Complimentary Breakfast. Our drive from Pattaya to the Hotel was extremely long, not helped by the location map supplied by Hotels.com took us about 3km (1 1/2 Hrs in rush hour traffic) past the Apartment. This meant that we could not book in before the concert, nor had time to change clothes. The email from Hotels.com did not even supply a local number for the hotel, so even after the concert it took another 40 minutes to find. On arrival (at 11.30pm) the security guard was sleeping but it was clear that the car park was full, so we parked on the street. The room itself was fairly decent, although to save electric they unplugged the in room fridge. There may have been WiFi but we were not given any information. The bathroom only has hot water at the shower, not in the sink, so shaving is also an issue. At 08.10 they started construction right outside our window...and I mean right outside (Room 201). So it was a relatively early start, we headed down for breakfast...which they don't offer. On complaining to the staff about the noise we were advised that it is clear on their website, pity Hotels.com did not explain this. In fairness to the Hotel, the majority of my issues were with the information provided by the booking company, not the establishment. However all of theses thing turned what was meant to be a special occasion into a nightmare.
