• Jonathan (5/5): Stay here only if you enjoy cigarettes. - Friendly staff The place reeks of cigarettes, because the staff allows guests to smoke cigarettes right in the main lobby. The day manager apologize for allowing this and said he wouldn’t allow anyone to do it again. And he also said that he would warn the night manager. Unfortunately, the night manager did not pay attention to the directions :( Even the night manager was smoking in entryway!!! and then he pretended to be so stupid that he had no idea that the Smoke would flow directly inside while standing directly in the entrance. 🤦‍♂️ 😡 I was so mad! I almost decided to book another hotel right then, but he promised it would not happen again. On top of this, the toilet paper holder cover was so sharp that when I reached to get toilet paper and sliced my finger, and it is still bleeding, even now as I write this. Every time you turn the heater/Air Conditioner on in the room, it blows air that smells like cigarettes because they allow their customers to smoke in the room, so of course the air unit reeks of cigarettes..,

Foarte aproape de punctul de oprire ale Havaist care te aduc de la aeroport și cu care poți să te întorci la aeroport. Metro aproape, restaurante și magazine. Personal foarte prietenos, primitor, deschis la discuții. Mereu ne-a răspuns la întrebări și a făcut ca șederea noastră să fie una confortabilă. În cameră ai tot de ce este nevoie, prosoape, gel de duș, șampon, uscător de păr, încălțăminte de cameră, dulap. Internetului nu este cel mai rapid, dar poți trimite mesaje fără probleme. În apropiere este o moschee, așa că fiți gata ca o dată la câteva ore să auziți chemarea la rugăciune (ezan) prin difuzoare.

The room size is good and it was clean and comfortable. There was noise from the room upstairs all the night, we were not able to sleep at our first night, other than that the area was calm there is no street noise

• EVELIS (10/5): A Hidden Gem in Istanbul's Heart - A Plus Residence - A Hidden Gem in Istanbul's Heart - A Plus Residence My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at A Plus Residence for five days during our honeymoon trip to Istanbul, and it truly exceeded all expectations. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was super welcoming and attentive, setting a lovely tone for our entire stay. We were delighted to be assigned a beautiful room on the 5th floor, and I was extremely happy to find out the building has a reliable lift, which was a huge convenience after long days of sightseeing. Our room was spacious—more than big enough for a couple—and perfectly set up for a comfortable stay. Despite being in a prime, central location in Istanbul, our stay was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The hotel is cleverly situated in a local neighborhood, which truly makes all the difference, offering an authentic experience away from the constant noise of the main tourist thoroughfares. Unbeatable Location and Safety The location is ideal for exploration. We were incredibly close to Istiklal Street, positioned on the opposite side, making it easy to access the famous street while maintaining that peaceful distance. We often guided ourselves back to the hotel via the corner where the KOTON store is located. This area is surrounded by an abundance of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets, meaning everything you need is right outside the door. Furthermore, connectivity is excellent: Taksim Metro Station is just a short, convenient walk away, as is the Havabüs stop for the airport, and other public transportation options. We truly felt like we were in the middle of all the major touristic attractions. I must also emphasize how much we appreciated the staff's diligence regarding guest safety. We noticed during our check-in that the receptionist was meticulous, and later, when the shift changed, the new employee thoroughly checked our documents and verified our stay in the computer system.

A légkondi jól működött, meleg víz is volt, egy éjszakás pihenésre alkalmas volt. Külön köszönet, hogy emeleti szobát kaptunk az alagsori helyett. A szálloda halljában, a recepciónál érezhető átható macskapisi szag, ami bejelentkezéskor fogadott.

The owner and all the staff are extremely helpful and kind. Highly recommended!

Very good value for money and in a decent location with food, buses and shops all nearby. Our bathroom door was a bit temperamental. It either wouldn't shut or the lock would jam, probably needs some oil in it. WiFi also wasn't the best past 12am for some reason. It kept cutting out.

Moreover, he invitated 2 potential guests to see the room while we were there. Again, I recomand the hotel and I would come here again. But the situation before we left was really ugly 🙏🌸

• Khan (6/5): It was an okay hotel, nothing too great. - There was a front desk 24 hours. They upgraded us to a superior room from an economy room because of birthday when asked. Rooms were tiny even though we got upgraded to a superior room. Toilets were also small. We didn’t have the breakfast option. Lobby is also very small and cramped. When we asked for directions to the local sightings to the morning staff they told us to figure out ourselves. And asked for restaurant suggestions , one of the morning staff told us to use our eyes to decide. So not very helpful at all. Also hotel is on a hilly area so didn’t like going uphill. When booking tours or cruises the drivers won’t leave you in front of the hotel or pick from hotel as the roads are too narrow for cars or suvs to come.
