• Kathryn (6/5): - The resort has great potential or maybe was awesome back in the day. Now it feels a bit run down and the food wasn’t good. The staff was nice but also not too excited to be there either. The rooms were updated and clean but I cannot recommend staying here purely because I think there maybe other wonderful spots on the island. I was really excited to stay here so It was sadly disappointing once we got there.

• Matthew (10/5): - The Mithi was an Amazing resort. From the friendless of the staff to the breath taking views overlooking the ocean our stay couldn't have been better. Private cave, bottomless kayak, amazing food. Everything was excellent.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - It is beautiful here and there is a lot to do! The cave on site is super fun and there is another one within walking distance. I’m a pretty picky eater and the food was pretty good! The daily happy hour was awesome as well. The room was gorgeous- you can’t really get WiFi in the rooms but it is lovely at the pool/ watching the beach from the dining room so just go check your emails outside!!! If I had one improvement, I would suggest, it was that you couldn’t order bar drinks from the dining room, so for instance if I wanted a margarita with dinner I would need to the leave dinner table to go to the bar to order it. The bar is close and I like walking so no big deal, just thought it was different!! Overall a lovely place!

• Yebga (10/5): Awesome place! - This was heaven on earth for us! Bohol was our last stop during our 2-week trip in the Philippines and my word, was this place worth it! After getting picked up from the harbour after our ferry trip from Cebu, we checked in (very easy and enjoyable experience) and immediately enjoyed the place. From the room itself, to the private beach, pool area, bars and restaurants (including excellent live music at your table, should you wish)... everything was perfect. We also went to the on site cave in which you can swim, which was really cool. We also booked a chauffeur for 1 day (not something we would usually do, but which was really helpful to see a lot of the Island). This place was really great and we would go back again if we ever return to Bohol.

• Sam A (6/5): Beautiful place but poorly trained waiters - Stayed 2 nights, first day having an early breakfast it was disappointing, nobody assisted at the restaurant and eggs were pre-made and cold. I wasn’t served no water or even any staff came to see if I needed anything. I ask for coffee creamer and staff said they don’t anything but milk, but our room has one with the instant coffee.Room service was a better experience for us than being in the actual restaurant. I called the front staff to let them know about my experience.

• Pierre (8/5): Relaxing in Bohol - Resort is like a small nature park, with many flowers, shrubs and trees. Room is nice, all functional, including good aircon. Balcony doors could have been sliding type to prevent insects to sneak through the gaps (staff taped it, great!). Throughout, personnel is very helpful and welcoming. Great series of pools (including infinity), pool bar seating (drinks from inside) and secluded beach. Spa is outstanding, highly recommended. Game house with ping pong, billiard, etc... Wifi has strong signal only in lobby area, but this is workable. Breakfast ok, but the restaurant is below standard (sampled several dishes). We ended up taking a cab (30mn) to Alona Beach most evenings for dinner (Christina's, Paprika), as did some other guests. Improvement needed in this respect, but memorable stay nevertheless. A nice little bar with a variety of liquors for the late evening, but watch the mosquitoes (repellent kindly provided by staff).

• Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing resort with a wonderful view - Our stay at Mithi resort was wonderful. We absolutely love the view, the infinity pool, the staff was very nice too. We hope we can come back one day and I can recommend this place for sure if you're looking for a quiet and relax stay. It's isolated but you can rent a car or motorbike if you want to. We also loved the natural cave you have in the resort. We loved taking photos over there, very nice spot !! Honestly this place worth the price event for a night but stay a few to really enjoy this spa & resort.
• mark (10/5): Amazing hotel,close to nature activities and beach - I don't usually post reviews but I think this is by far one of the amazing stays, I had. The staff is very nice and friendly, the resort itself is a nature resort so expect to be really one with nature. The hotel has a shuttle service which comes very handy, they picked us up at the airport and drop us at our departure time, regardless of it being 5:30am. They accomodate to whatever needs you requests, has a really nice infinity pool and the pictures online are true to the ones in actual view. Will hopefully comeback here next time.
• Rauf (8/5): Fantastic View,Great Staff, But Old Rooms, No WiFi - First and foremost, the staff in this hotel are not only immensely polite and genuine, but they are always willing to help and are very knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra route. So from a staff and customer service experience end, Mithi is phenomenal. Mithi is more private and secluded from the crowds of Alona beach and has a huge and private sandbar with a breathtaking view. Now the negatives. First off, the rooms do not have WiFi which for the modern day and age is completely unacceptable. The rooms, especially for the price I paid for the seaview bungalow, are in very old and outdated condition. There was rust on the sink, the wood, the floors, and the balcony showed a lot of age. The shower was barely warm and the bathroom in general showed much wear and tear. Now I understand that some of the rooms and bungalows are renovated and modern, but the one that they gave to us was very old, outdated, and in my opinion not worthy of the price it commanded. I booked a room within the same price range I n another resort, Crimson in Cebu, which was super new, modern, had WiFi across the resort, and justified its premium pricing.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Pretty to look at, not necessarily to stay - The hotel itself is picturesque and does feel like a paradise. However feel like our stay was heavily dampened by the staff and continual issues. They were friendly by all means, however rarely helpful. The hotel is also located in a rather remote location on the island, and requires a set priced taxi to take you anywhere, who refuse to proovide recipts (tax evasion is a big thing in PH) and wouldnt expect this from a near 4* resort. The food is overpriced, not local and underwhelming. We had the room with the jacuzzi, which took 3 calls and 5 hours to have it working properly. The wifi is restricted only to the lobby and is poor at the best of times. But we did overall enjoy our stay because we enjoy the aesthetics of it. It just doesn't meet western standards, which you'd expect from the price.
• Richard (8/5): Beautiful location and grounds - Hard to find but worth the search. Beautiful grounds and location. Best breakfast buffet I have encountered i Asia. Friendly and accomidating staff. Beajtiful natural location. A feww too many mosquito but overall excellent. Only problem is very poor wifi in thr main recwption area and none at all anywhere else. Otherwkse would rate it 5 stars. At this price point most would expect wifi in rooms and public areas.

• Keith (2/5): Avoid this hotel at all costs !! - The worst experience and unhelpful staff , food was cold , omelette was raw in the middle, milk in the coffee was stale, jacuzzi didn't work properly due to blockages in the tubes, ordered a taxi from reception , reception told me it will be 300 pesos, I asked driver why it was so expensive he replied he had to give the hotel a cut ... this was appalling!! Very slow in resolving an issue, arrived back to room only to a find a member of staff sunbathing with his top rolled up on our balcony this was so unprofessional and appalling behaviour, Avoid!!! you will find yourself complaining about many things!!! Just like we did... when checking out we handed a letter of complaint, regarding all the complaints the manager informed me that this issues should not be happening she told me they were going to refund my wife and I first night £134.... I had to email them 2weeks later as we had not received our refund, can you believe it the manager tells me they won't be giving me the refund and if I want it I will have to go through my insurance!! The manager informed me that the raw omelette was fine and it's cooked to international level....IT WAS RAW !!!! This could of caused a serious health issue !!! Please stay away from this hotel ! There are far superior resorts in the Philippines with a quality breakfast and dinner and helpful staff... it's such a shame I have to write such an appalling review, I have never had to do this before,there are more complaints but I have room left

Spent one day visiting the chocolate hills , eating on a river boat and looking at the Tarsiers ( not to be missed !) .The staff were really helpful in arranging this trip especially as it was at the last minute.

• Ross (10/5): battery recharge - Loved it. Fantastically run resort for rest and recreation. Only issue was that rooms don't have wifi and since rooms are so far away that no data signal is available. This was frustrating and probably solved by moving to a closer room. The ground floor units, the basic ones are huge but natural light is very low so it was dark. Beds are two double beds strapped together so heaps of room to unwind. Spa and gym were excellent. Staff exceeded my expectations. Cave was amazing. Breakfast was always fresh with lots of choice. The beach was unparalleled for beauty and safety and privacy as it was open to hotel guests only. Simply sensational at high tide

• Yee Ka (10/5): Highly recommend this resort off Cebu - The place definitely went above and beyond our expectations. First of all, we weren't expecting an infinity pool overlooking a gorgeous beach. Then, our jungle bungalows weren't functioning(had problems with the bathroom), so the staff were very attentive and helpful and swiched us to the amazing,newly renovated garden rooms, which you should definitely book instead of the older jungle bungalows. Food and service overall was great, but highlight really is the pool and snorkeling around the coral island off the beach. Who would imagine there would be so much awesome sealife right off a resort? High value for money, 6 stars!

The location is quiet, and quite secluded, with little to do nearby, but the private beach and swimming pools were perfect for spending time by. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and didn't hesitate to make up a room for us, even though they didn't have our reservation when we arrived. They also went out of their way to contact the airport when we realised we'd left something behind.

• flipped54 (6/5): Rustic, quiet stay - Needs an update all around. If you love a quiet rustic place this is for you. There are no nearby establishments and town is 30 min away so you have no choice but to eat at their one restaurant. Breakfast was just okay, nothing great. Pictures on website a bit deceiving. If you come to relax and not picky on food choices you will find this place satisfactory.
• Alan (10/5): Little piece of paradise - The resort is a little slice of paradise. Very quiet and secluded from the main stretch of beach in Panlao (which is a great thing). We stayed in room 2404. Midway between the main building and the spa. Great service and food. Food from the a la cart menu is far superior to the buffet (which caters to more to the tourists). I recommend the calamari and the kare kare. The spa on the resort is something else. Total serenity and bliss. Had the 90 min relaxation massage and was not disappointed. Go to your appointment about 30-40 mins earlier to take advantage of the sauna and steam rooms.

Nice hotel with very big land parcel. Only setback is far from town center, but that is a plus point for those who wanted exclusiveness. Overall experience is good.

• Kaisa (6/5): Good place for some relaxation - I had a solo weekend away here. The place is nice pretty much as it's 3.5 star rating would suggest. It's got beautiful views, a nice loungy pool plus a separate lap pool. The spa is reasonably priced and the massages are good. The "fitness gym" is very basic but it does the trick if you just want to get a sweat on. The restaurant on site is also pretty basic, the food is ok but nothing to write home about and it takes quite a while to get it. The airport / ferry transfers are handy and free which is a nice bonus.
