Hotel é sensacional, acomodação ótima, tudo limpo, os funcionários são bem atenciosos e educados, apesar de termos ficado só 2 diárias, eles fizeram a limpeza do quarto sem pedirmos. Vale super a pena! O quarto não possui TV, mas isso não foi um problema. Tudo estava excelente.

Based on online reviews, I expected the breakfast to be bigger and better, but maybe the variety was scarse because it was low season.

Não colocam nem jogo americano nas mesas, o local é LOTADO de moscas e dividem o café por horarios. Colocaram a gente no ultimo horario (09:10 às 10h) e 09:50h já retiraram tudo. O quarto é Ok, mas muito barulhento (dava para escutar tudo) e com uma janela enorma na frente da cama que não dava para escurecer. Ou seja, acordamos todos os dias com a claridade no rosto.

- flylady1983 (10/5): The perfect mix of peaceful comfort and kite community - I stayed at Windtown Beach Hotel and what stood out most was how well everything is balanced. The hotel itself is calm, green, and very comfortable, with a relaxed atmosphere that never feels busy or chaotic. At the same time, you’re right in the heart of Cumbuco’s kitesurf scene. It’s easy to meet other riders, share sessions, and organize downwinders, and then come back to the hotel to relax by the pool or unwind in the garden. The location works really well: close to restaurants, shops, and bars, but still quiet enough to properly rest. Getting to and from the airport is straightforward, and it’s reassuring to know that medical facilities are nearby as well. A great choice for longer stays if you want reliable wind, a strong kite community, and a hotel that stays peaceful even during the busy season.

Quartos limpos e confortáveis.Em resumo: conforto, boa localização à beira‑mar, equipe simpática e ambiente relaxante — ideais para recarregar as energias depois de um dia de trabalho. Distância do “centro” de Cumbuco: o hotel fica um pouco afastado do centro da vila, cerca de 800 m a pé, o que pode ser menos prático para quem precisa de restaurantes, serviços ou deslocamentos rápidos para reuniões. Café da manhã poderia ser melhor: embora satisfaça a maioria, a oferta é “simples”. Em resumo: distância até o centro/vila, opções de café da manhã e serviço de quarto limitados, e questões menores de conforto podem não atender expectativas de viajantes que priorizam praticidade e serviço completo. A piscina tb não fica na vista-mar e é um pouco limitada.

Foi perfeito. - Tudo, em especial: café da manhã maravilhoso, estacionamento seguro, os funcionários (educados, gentis e discretos), a cama (super confortável), banheiro (limpeza e chuveiro muito bom) e as redes disponíveis nas varandas dos quartos. Outro ponto muito positivo pra mim é o bar ser elevado e de frente para o mar, simplesmente sem palavras. Nota 1000. Nada a reclamar, mas fica a sugestão de acrescentar televisão nos quartos, pelo menos o quarto que fiquei não tinha. A ausência da televisão tem o lado bom do ficar "off", desconectado e descansar, mas poderia ter caso quiséssemos ver um filme ou série a noite.

Dessa vez achei os funcionários um pouco mais reprimidos e sem muita autonomia para tomada de decisões. Foi feito duas reclamações sem sucesso. Um pequeno exemplo foi a café, que estava fraco e perguntei se teria possibilidade de um café um pouco mais forte e não foi me oferecido a oportunidade. A recepção na chegada excelente a informação, na saída na teve um volte sempre. Dessa segunda vez, não tive sensação de férias na estadia porque os funcionários estavam tímidos e reprimidos, na me senti à vontade. A gerência está sendo trocada, talvez isso explique muita coisa.

- Danielle (6/5): - O café da manhã é bem a lá gringo, não tem Muitas opções, achei fraco, poucas opções, mas tem o básico! Tivemos uma situação bem chata, na volta da praia, os portões ficam fechados e o pessoal nos deixou do lado de fora do hotel as 18:15, enfim! Eu não volto lá!

I go to Brazil once a year and always look for places where I can relax with a real ocean view, so - The property is beachfront, the bar has a beautiful view, and the breakfast was very good. The room I booked was listed as “sea view,” but there was no window or actual view of the ocean from inside the room. You can only see the sea if you step outside. There is a small terrace, but the view is mainly the pool and the yard, not the beach. Also, the hotel is under construction as well as the street that give access to the hotel, which made it difficult to drive in and out.

- Walter (8/5): 3 Tage bei den Kitern in Cumbuco - Strandlage und netter Pool, sauberes Zimmer Kiterhotel mit Schule und entsprechenden Einrichtungen Baustelle rund um das Hotel und Straße Richtung Ortszentrum ( Kanalisation?), dafür kann das Hotel natürlich nichts Frühstück war gut, der Frühstücksbereich aber eng und überfüllt, Personal teilweise etwas überfordert.

- Russel (4/5): Would not return - The spot was good for kiting very quiet out front The property is a long way from town like restaurants and shops. They are currently expanding the resort creating a lot of noise and commotion. On top of that the construction project must have been paining from which the over spray covered my rental car in their secure parking area. This caused me a large bill at the end of my contract for a full detailing to remove all of this over spray. As well my roommate received a large number of bug bites while sleeping on the main floor of our loft room. I had no such problems in the loft which creates suspicion about the cleanliness of our individual beds?

- Renata (5/5): - Quarto bom e limpo Extremo barulho da região, música só cessava das 5 as 7 da manhã, depois começava uma música eletronica altíssima. Colaboradores educados porém pouco preparados para atendimento. No café tem um cardápio onde você marca o que quer pedir.. nas duas vezes que marquei e pedi, mandaram errado. Se não tem a opção melhor dizer que não tem do que trazer algo diferente do que foi pedido.

- Brian (6/5): Nice facility and friendly staff but there are better options for the price point in my opinion - Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is located right on the beach. The air conditioner in our room wasn't very effective, the bed is pretty small as well. There also wasn't a TV in our room (.not sure if this is similar to all the other rooms. Generally you don't go to Cumbuco to watch TV but everything at the hotel closes by 2000 so not sure what you're expected to do unless you're in for an early bed time. We usually stay in Cumbuco every 6 weeks and for the price we paid there are better options in my opinion.
- Frédéric (10/5): - Hôtel est très agréable. Les chambres sont bien agencées, confortables. Piscine, accès plage direct, douchettes, restaurant c’est pratique de tout avoir sur place. L’école de Kite est accolée à l’hôtel, c’est un vrai plus ! Dommage que l’environnement extérieur ne soit pas fameux (routes défoncées, eaux usées, terrains vagues …) Le centre ville est à 1km ça se fait à pied, restaurants, bars, artisanats.

- Matheus (9/5): The best ever view of a beach hotel. - The place is awesome. Really enjoy the bar, pool and privilege to in front of the beach. Room is not prepared for child and room installation could be better. Bed mattresses, air conditions and hot water are new ones.
