The guest house is comfortable, peaceful, and in a great location to explore the area. What made my stay truly special was the kindness and hospitality of Wayan. Wayan was incredibly nice, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything I needed. He made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived and went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. His warmth, kindness, and genuine care really made a difference. • Rich (6/5): Good location, nice pool - make sure you book one of the renovated rooms. - Kun Kun Guesthouse was in a good location (as advertised). Nice pool and situated in a quiet area. Darkness of the room and dark linen. Unfortunately, I was allocated one of the older rooms (not renovated). I don't need a modern space however the room I was allocated was very dark and during the day I needed the lights on to have sufficient light.

• Andrew (10/5): Ideal location for staying in Ubud - Kun Kun Guest House is in a great location, restaurants are near, yoga barn within walking distance, its position in a side street makes the property quiet too. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Wayan ensured any issues were resolved. There wasn’t anything to not like.

• Alexandra (10/5): Un magnifique hôtel, je recommande! - La Guest house est très bien située, à proximité à pied de beaucoup de centres d’intérêt. L’hôtel en lui-même est magnifique! Il est nettoyé plusieurs fois par jour, il a une très belle décoration, le mobilier est confortable et la petite piscine est vraiment agréable. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et il fait tout ce qui est son possible pour régler les problèmes rapidement s’il y en a et pour conseiller correctement les clients. Il y a également la possibilité de réserver un taxi directement depuis la réception à des prix très raisonnable et de l’eau potable est gratuitement à disposition.

• Yael (8/5): I would like to thank Wayan from the front desk who made everything to make us feel comfortable - The guest house is very well located, in the heart of Ubud, while quiet and beautifully located facing a rice field with gorgeous birds. They renovated the back rooms and not yet the front rooms facing the rice fields. These’d rooms are a bit basic: the mattresses are too hard, the curtains don’t retain the light enough, the bathroom is a bit basic. It was fine for a few days but both these front room need renovation. The pool area is gorgeous and peaceful. All the surrounding garden beautiful.

• Tanya (1/5): As a solo female travely, I was scared & disappointed - The location is in the heart of the city The room was not as promised, it said balcony and thats why I booked it and I was given a ground floor room. The staff did not care at all, they told me to talk to booking.com. The bedsheets didn’t feel new and smelled weird and the so called ‘hi speed wifi’ was not working at all. I stepped out to ask the staff what should I do, the lady opened her phone and showed me “see wifi is working for me”. I too showed her that it wasn’t working in my device and she said go sit at the pool and use the pool wifi. I only stayed a night( i had a 4 day booking) and left the guest house the next day because it was so uncomfortable. The booking was non refundable but I was just so uncomfortable. Neither the guest house helped me nor booking customer care

Elke dag goed schoongemaakt en schone handdoeken en beddengoed.. denk dat dit gebouw nog niet zo oud is, alles ziet er zo mooi uit ... Er is ook een zwembad, niet groot maar je kan heerlijk zwemmen... Ontbijt is elke dag anders, van roerei tot banaan pannenkoek, maar is heerlijk en voldoende. Hotel ligt aan drukke straat maar in hotel zelf hoor je niks, geen verkeer, zo heerlijk rustig. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Ubud is erg druk, vooral in centrum. Veel winkeltjes en leuke restaurantjes met superfood en vega gerechten. Superdruk overal, zoveel verkeer..

• stephane.lesinq (10/5): Impeccable modern style room with balcony - Impeccable and elegant style rooms, centrally located in the popular Hanuman street area but quiet from the main road with view over the fields. Modern style rooms with balcony, that are a gem in busy Ubud considering that other places are often overpriced and mediocre quality. The management is showing helpful manners and a great care and solicitousness to host its guests, and managing its place to a high standard and maintaining a local vibe adding a great value to what is already a smart option by far compared to its competitors. Highly recommended.
• Max (9/5): Würden wieder kommen. Preis Leistung Spitze. - Tolle Lage, maximal 5 Minuten Fußweg zu Bars Restaurant. Es is auch einiges in unmittelbarer Nähe. Personal sehr freundlich. Zimmer und gesamte Anlage wurden täglich gereinigt. Großes Zimmer mit riesigen Bett mit großem Balkon. Poolanlage sehr schön und gepflegt. Bad war sauber aber gegebenenfalls Renovierungsbedürftig. Störte aber nicht (Deluxe Doppelzimmer) würde vllt nächstes Mal das Superior Doppelzimmer wählen.

The local white bunny and duck were a highlight for our 4 year old. The pool area and garden setting were nice and well maintained. We enjoyed breakfast each morning at 'Atman Nourish Cafe' a stone's throw from the guest house, providing tasty vegan options! Everything was great, nothing we didn't like.

• Lidia (7/5): Hotel amb personal encantador que amb millores de les instalacions seria fantàstic - La ubicació molt bona, a uns 12 minuts caminant del Mercat i del Palau d'Ubud. A 5 minuts trobeu caixers automàtics i un gran supermercat, Coco, que clarament està pensat per a turistes, però. El personal (no recordo els noms, eren 3 noies d'uns 18-20 anys) en tot moment van ser molt amables i disponibles. L'esmorzar correcte. Estaven fent obres al hotel i l'habitació que ens van assignar no tenia cap intimitat: estava just al costat de la recepció i davant d'un petit pàrquing de motos. L'últim dia vam estar tota la tarda i nit amb talls continus d'aigua. En comentar-ho amb el personal del hotel van parlar amb el seu cap i finalment vam poder fer us d'una altra habitació (sense haver de traslladar les nostres coses, com volia el director). Com ja he comentat abans, el personal genial, el director (que mai vam conèixer) no tant.
• Umberto (9/5): Soggiorno piacevole e confortevole nel cuore di ubud. - L’appartamento era molto pulito, ordinato e ben tenuto. La stanza rispettava le dimensioni descritte e veniva quotidianamente sistemata e riordinata. L’appartamento, pur essendo nel centro di ubud, è molto silenzioso e apre su un esteso verde che ti fa dimenticare di essere in città. Puoi incontrare conigli, papere e cani (domestici). Il personale è gentile e accogliente, disponibili anche per check in tardivi (noi ad esempio siamo arrivati alle 3 am e non abbiamo avuto problemi). Il letto era comodo, il bagno è spazioso e dotato di shampoo e bagnoschiuma, la doccia pur sprovvista di cabina era funzionale. Non c’è l’asciugacapelli e anche chiedendolo non ne dispongono. L’appartamento è provvisto di aria condizionata e di wi-fi, che però è lento e supporta bene solo un dispositivo alla volta. La colazione (2,50€ a persona) è soddisfacente, nel nostro caso costituita frutta fresca, uova strapazzate al formaggio e toast. Nel complesso assolutamente consigliato in rapporto al prezzo. Wi-Fi

• リエコ (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect and quiet. The view from the balcony is very nice. The staff is sweet and helpful. The place was under construction, but the noise was minimal. The bedding needs to be renewed. I wish they would buy a new comforter and sheet to replace them. The new curtain would be nice too. The door needs to be stable and shut completely. If they fix these, I will come back again.
• Cap (8/5): Very good - We are doing a budget trip this time,so are checking out what guest houses and bungalows have to offer, not villa's. The main part of Kun Kun is undergoing renovations atm.There are only the four rooms facing the rice paddy available. Renovations due to finish approximately July/August.Then the other 4 will be renovated. There wasn't much noise from the works.A bit of angle grinding/cutting here and there. The works didn't impede our stay. Location is excellent, and beyond expectations, it was actually really quiet. Our room faced the old rice paddy and the fish ponds, which was lovely. Room 9,next to reception. Just off Jl Hannoman easy access to everything. A/C good. Hot water ok. Had a bath. Fridge. Small but decent pool.....some people said they thought the pool was a bit green... Hmm the tiles are green in colour my friends. Dare I say ,that the powers of observation are sometimes not that good on the planet. I checked, ran my hands on all the surfaces,it's clean. Nice porch,nice view. Bed comfortable but it was hard. That didn't bother us as we like a firm bed.But for others, I think it might not be enjoyable. Set breakfast.No choices but we were happy with our breakfasts. The banana matcha crepes/pancakes pretty damn fine,omelettes, fried egg on toast,bowl of fruit and your coffee or tea. If you are one those slightly more delicate people who have a distinct palette then this probably won't be for you.🤣 Staff all nice and in general a relaxing atmosphere. 5 nights for $260 AUD was exceptional value. It's about a 50m walk-in from Hannoman.I will post a pic of the sign. Atman Nourish Kafe & Cafe Angsa are the on the corner of the lane to the guest house. We will gladly stay again without doubt. Oh and Mr Kun is walking around at times, he's a nice bloke to have chat with. Big 👍👍👍's up. We weren't actually unhappy about anything really. Nevertheless....as we are finding out ,guest houses are cheaper for a reason. Less appointments and facilities than a villa. So .....not a lot storage/hanging space, not really any cooking facilities,no vanity,less table/chairs. It will be interesting to see what extras might be added after the renovations are completed. I didn't quite pack the camp kitchen but we came prepared. Camp utensils and the like.(Thanks Aldi special buys🙂) So we navigated any needs easily. Head up to the bigger Delta Dewata on Jl Adong and grab the stuff you need and you'll be right.

• Loo (6/5): Lovely position. I would stay there again especially after the renovations are complete. - The room was basic but absolutely fine. Nice balcony overlooking a green space. Nearby community building had lovely music and happy children sounds coming from it sometimes, which was gorgeous. This hotel is tucked down a no through alleyway so is quiet, despite being in the middle of Ubud. Lovely fresh fruit breakfast included. There is also a lovely pool area but there was building works going on there when we stayed. The bathroom was basic but serviceable. As mentioned there was renovations going on so there was quite a bit of noise sometimes during the day.
• Tarryn (10/5): Clean, beautiful view and amazing location - Very clean and comfortable room with a beautiful view. The staff where very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and I didn't think it was going to be so nice. I would definitely stay here again. Right next door to an amazing Cafe Atam so easy to get breakfast with 2 small kids. There was construction noise going on but it was still a beautiful stay
