Guest Reviews
- Stephan (10/5): Good location to enjoy night entertainment - Great location to enjoy the night entertainment of Bangkok. Few meters away from Nana where all the fun happens if you're a single man visiting BKK. Walking distance to Nana Metro Station, which is directly connected to the Express Link to the airport, takes less than an hour to reach. Not a good location if you look for 5 Star comfort though, but you wouldn't expect this on the offered prices anyway. Will stay there again and enjoy another night out.
- Peter (8/5): Still Loving It But Slowly Fading With Each Visit. - I always end up at this hotel because of its perfect location. But I really hope they start improving the rooms and furnishing a bit. It is getting very old and stale. Especially the bathroom too...
- Ryu (8/5): - 駅や歓楽街から近くて便利。設備そのものは値段相応で、特に不満もない。
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff were friendly. Good location. But hotel is filled with cockroaches and the toilet is old. Shower water pressure was low.
- Mark (6/5): - Daytime staff was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, I saw a couple of baby roaches when I checked into my room. I took all food waste outside if room and kept everything sealed with light left in in bathroom and part if main room. I didn't see anymore for next 3 days.
- Ronald (6/5): Great location - Great location. Great place for a couple of days but not longer. Needs refurbished.
- HL (2/5): - Picture did not reflect the true condition of the room.
Windows cannot be closed properly, unsafe feeling.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Poor condition hotel - My room was in very poor condition. It was extremely dated but the worst thing was that the aircon unit had obviously been leaking from its vents for a long time as there was a huge mould patch running under it. It also then started to leak and it did so on my belongings.
- H.B (6/5): - Great location .hotels rooms is old .dirty kettle
Rooms need to be renovated as many facilities
Not work. toilet too small
But great location near BTS Sky train and nightlife
- H.B (6/5): - I stayed 2 nights, on the 26th and 27th Sep.
the hotel rooms is a bit old and toilet are too small
very dirty kettle and Room facilities need renovated as many of its not work
great location near to BTS sky train (Nana Station),nightlife, restaurants and shopping area
The staff Very friendly and helpful
- Mohammad (8/5): Central.. - Close to CBD and nana..
- Bob (8/5): Great location - The best part is the location, close to the BTS and local attractions. The rooms are large and comfortable but need to be renovated. Wifi was good. Staff were helpful and polite.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is close to the nightlife in Bangkok and the train system.
- Mohammad Hassn (8/5): Friendly staff - Managements are very friendly, very lively area, excellent for short period and it’s cost
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The elevator is too far away from the reception and tbe elevator stops on all floors....that pertains to all elevators..as a handicap passenger i was very much irritated.
Otherwise the staff is excellent.
- nafees (8/5): - The night lady worker at the reception was indeed a very rude in behavior. The day and all other staff were very sincere that is why I checked in this Parkway Hotel twice....but next time I will think about it.
- nafees (8/5): Nice hotel in a very comfortable area. - Great place to stay. I will always stay there as long as i come to visit Thailand in future.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice , close to everything, the manager very helpful and accommodating
- Nafees (8/5): - This hotel is great with excellent management staff. All very kind and helpful. The room i have been given was extra clean and i am indeed very happy.
Thank you Travelocity for providing such a nice place to stay in Bangkok.
- Michael (8/5): Wonderful stay, will definitely return ... - Have stayed here multiple times, during my excursion in Thailand. Terrific location, near the nightlife ( if you wish), but really quiet to get a good sleep. And every amenity you need is within about a 10 minute walk. Skytrain station less than 5 minutes. And can't say enough about the entire staff. 5 star friendly from the ladies at reception, and the good ladies and gents that work there. They make you feel right at home. No hotel is perfect, but this one suits me just fine. Khob khun khap ... Thank you so very much.
- Verified traveler (2/5): First trip to Thailand - I arrived to get my room that was reserved without much issue, then I had to contact someone since my phone wouldn't work. I asked to use the computer they advertise for use, and I was refused. I asked to use the phone since it was a very important call, and was again refused. She even laughed at me and told me to go unlock my phone... at 11pm at night. Kept finding roaches from time to time, and water smelled a bit funny in shower and sink in bathroom. The male staff helped me get a cab, but the night staff seemed not want to help me. My friend ended up not knowing I had even arrived until the next day. Why advertise a computer for use then flat our refuse a person prepaid for ten days time the use of it? The location was good and I have no complaints about the man, but the room and night staff made me feel unwelcome.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good value hotel in Central Bangkok - Easy check in .........friendly staff ............the entire stay went like clockwork.
- Verified traveler (10/5): great loved it !!! - My second visit ton this hotel. it is my favorite in BKK.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible experience - - cockroaches in rooms
- staffs not friendly
- elevator not in use
- some used mineral waters in fridge with no tags
- Verified traveler (6/5): Busy area of town. - small hotel near soi 4. Checkin was on the second floor. The first floor was a Tailor's shop. Checkin went smoothly. Elevator is very slow. Room is small. Clean and tidy. Not much else to say except no free water was available to Expedia guests.
- mark (8/5): - Always friendly staff, nothing is to much trouble, good people.
- steve (8/5): all good - great location is you want to be close to the nana action, my room was literally looking down on nana plaza. super friendly staff, nice clean room, great value for money. highly recommended.
- Dan (6/5): never again - Parkway Inn perhaps suffers from as if infinite demand ... they'll never run out of customers and, as such, the staff can afford to be indifferent (at best), opportunistic (when providing quotes for travel etc), or flat out rude. Oh and bring ear plugs if you plan to sleep!
- michael (8/5): Parkway Inn Bangkok - Cute Hotel with a really friendly and helpful staff. Great location next to all the fun and action near Nana station. Room was large with a nice comfortable bed and overall nice ambience. Close and easy public transportation giving easy access to anywhere including the airport.
- My name (8/5): Good Hotel - Hotel is in the heart of the nightlife. Walking distance to mall and BTS skytrain. Can catch taxi in front of hotel if you choose. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in great location if you want to enjoy nightlife. Hotel have lots of alcohol, water, snacks in room if you choose to stay in your room but not free. I had a great stay here would stay again. Didnt have to pay for taxi I walked to where I needed to go.
- Fa Hien (6/5): OK budget hotel - The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is okay, but light switches were a little loose, meaning that you need some tinkering to get them to work. The elevator button for the first floor does not work, so had to get off at 2nd and walk down one flight.
- Gerallt (6/5): Cheap and cheerfull - Let us check-in early at no extra charge. Cheap and cheerfull hotel. Friendly service.
- Mike (8/5): Best deal in Bangkok 4 me. - I don't want to say to much good about it, they may raise the price. I will be staying there again.
Two eggs, 2 strips bacon, 2 toast, coffee, and juice everyday is great! But I need a bit more verity. We stayed a week. There is a nice market up the Ally across the street. I picked a piece of ham and cheddar. (Inside that store, I found the best exchange rate for $) the hotel cook will do most anything you want. The staff are great.
Only small issue's, noise from the buildings next door, and stairs, at least one flight.
Note: like most hotels in Bangkok. It is older, and show"s its were. But so do I
- Kenneth (8/5): Good location - Ok for 1 night
- Md Nasir Uddin (6/5): old but clean hotel for low budget - Some rooms needs to renovate. Its a old hotel.
- sophay phan (8/5): friendly staff and good location - its not expensive so dont expect too much. but it does the job very well enough. very friendly staff and the location is great. the wifi is a bit bad on the 6th floors but nothing to complain beside that. I would return there.
- Angie (8/5): near shopping malls. - relatively relaxing and enjoyable. Staffs are warm and accommodating.
- ashutsoh (10/5): loved it - was great and comfortable, specially the hospitality hotel showed towards me was nice, didn't had tea coffee maker in room which was provided once u ask for it, moreover any call to reception was answered promptly and was sorted asap. I have stayed in many other hotels in bkk but this is one of the best for the value u get. thanks to all the staff of the hotel, you make an amazing team
- sudhir talwar (10/5): Nice hotel close to entertainment - It's a very nice hotel on main sukhumvit road with near to all public transport and night life.hotel is neat and clean with homely environment.staff is also very helpful and friendly. I will definitely recommend this hotel to every one visiting bangkok.
- kuldip (2/5): AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE A PLAQUE - ROOM VERY NOISEY AND BLACK MILDO IN THE BATHROOM. ELEVATOR BROKE NEXT DAY AND HAD TO WALK DOWN 5 FLOORS. ONE CHECK IN PERSON PER SHIFT AND NOT VERY FRIENDLY OR HELPFULL. MY ADVICE IS STAY FROM THIS VERY OLD HOTEL
- Verified traveler (2/5): Won't stay at the Parkway again - The hotel staff was friendly and nice, but my overall experience of the hotel was terrible. I arrived at 4am and went to bed around 6am. Every morning of my stay at 8am I was awakened by a jackhammer on the bottom floor. And this would last all day. Additionally, the air conditioner was barely adequate, the bathroom tile and shower had mold all over the place and the internet only worked on the first day. I spoke to someone at the hotel about the internet and was told that they tried to have it fixed but hotel management wouldn't put in the work order.
- Scott (4/5): Good location bad bathroom - Great location near nightlife and BTS Nana Skytrain but room falling apart especially bathroom.I keep on getting them to fix in room water heater but all they done was reset it with screw driver so every time I wanted hot water I had to call them.Shower screen looks like it has been broken for years toilet hard to flush
- thomas (6/5): wil not stay again - ok hotel bit run down not good value
this hotel backs onto the nana plaza so quite noise in room until 4am
shower was cold too
- N A (2/5): Pay peanuts you get monkeys, avoid like the plague - i was told to stay here by a work colleague who recommended it - big mistake! Ok its cheap, you pay peanuts you get monkeys. But honestly its truly dreadful. Really dates rooms which smell, dirty, old. Great for the money of you're a backpacker on a budget but as a business hotel forget it.
I booked through Hotels.com and the hotel had no record of the booking. All the reservations are on printed bits of paper. Not computer reservation system. The woman on the front desk didn't believe I'd paid for the room up front even though i showed her the Hotels.com receipt showing paid in full with a reference number. I ended up calling the hotels.com help desk to get it sorted. As usual they were brilliant.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good price and convenient. - I had seen this hotel for years but never stayed there and the opportunity presented itself for a simple night. The hotel was adjacent to another hotel under renovation so there was considerable construction going on from 8 am until 5 pm. The room was okay but several light switches were inoperable. Room was clean and the staff friendly. Funny elevator situation(from second floor, which is the 'lobby', to the first it is not operable, first to any other floor is okay) but only a minor inconvenience. In a pinch I would stay again, decent price with hotels.com.
- Beng Chuan (6/5): Too close to the pubs - Location is too close to the pubs and bars for my liking. Also too close to the main roads can see the trains moving (no privacy). Had to close the curtains.
also the design of the bathroom makes it very narrow and hard to use.
- P (6/5): The stay was OK staff speaks English and friendly. - I normally stay at Amari soi5 but this time I tried this place as it was cheaper the stay was good. Room comfort is average but for the price you pay its ok. Area is good many places to eat and you get sky-train station (Nana) easy to get to MBK, patunam, pantin plaza. If you need a cheap stay try this but always ask for a room away from the road side as it can be noise.
- Minh Lan (8/5): Hotel with friendly staff, privacy and BTS access - Very friendly hotel, helpful staff, lots of privacy, convenient access to Nana BTS just 200m away. Good value for the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Best location, excellent staff - There is also a very good tailor shop inside the hotel.
Good location near Skytrain and many restaurants nearby
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ideal location and room price for short stay. - Staff brilliant and very helpful and friendly. Room clean and tidy with full facilities.
