Trudy (10/5): - Under new management it says. Lobby is very nice! Looks brand new! Some carpets in the hotel need replacing and a few fixtures like lamps need upgrading but rooms are big. DVD's available, breakfast was great except for cheap plastic cutlery. I found bed mattress too hard fur my liking. Bonus 10% off at BP's next door!

The fitted sheet didn't fit the mattress, the room was musky and smelled like smoke, the carpet was wrinkled and old, the furniture was old and dusty, the cutlery was strewn on a shelf, the pop machine looked like it had been broken into with an axe and had been that way for months, the key didn't work in the door, the maid left dirty bits in the room after tidying up, the parking lot was always filled with rig trucks that parked half a car width away from each other so there was never any parking, the parking lots had big dips and potholes that would try to rip the bumper off of your car. Just off the top of my head.

We needed more towels and received old miss matched towels Only decaf coffee in the bedroom and the inside of the coffee machine was dusty and dirty Fridge wasnt cleaned out - old used water in there Shower curtain had holes in it

Vern (8/5): - I have the property a 4 star because the keys we were given didn’t work and instead of rekeying the cards we had to use an actual key attached to a card to get into our room. Just not convenient. After supper tried watching TV but not much of a selection of channels but we could have rented DVD’s from the lobbie. No Netflix or Prime. The breakfast however was very good with lots of choices to eat.

Lori (8/5): Decent facility at a fair price. Would stay here again. - It was close ish to where we were going to a wedding. The room was non smoking but we could still smell cigarette smoke as soon as we walked in. Also, it was a bit weird not having a sink in the bathroom.

William (10/5): Exceptional - The jacuzzi room was so clean. The staff are very nice and efficient on helping with whatever we needed. The breakfast was great! And they even had cookies and snacks put out during the day! Definitely going back!
Emanuel (2/5): - The staff were great and easy to deal with. The pictures that were posted are not even close to what the room actually looked like. The staff gave us an upgrade, and it turned out the upgrade was even worse. It didn’t even look like the sheets had been changed. There was hair on the pillows and crumbs all over the comforter. We ended up not staying the night and grabbed an air mattress at my brother’s place. Again the staff was great but the hotel leaves much to be desired.

Also your Febreez or whatever was disgustingly obvious in the bed. Maybe just wash the sheets and pillowcases in SCENTLESS detergent and DO NOT spray the bedding!!!

Konstantina (10/5): Exceptional - While in route and booking on the road from the car I somehow booked a duplicate room,the property was very responsive and ensured that they cxl the duplicate reservation on their end.Additionally, the associates accepted a very late check in at 3AM in the morning and gave us 1 hour late check out the next day.The room was very clean and comfortable, and staff was polite and pleasant to deal with.Would definitely stay again. Everything was perfect.

Bernie (6/5): - The building is showing its age. Carpet in my room had a swell in it. One stairwell exit door was jammed. I could not push it open. Hot water pipe for the sink would begin to bang loudly inside the wall. Bathroom itself was in good condition. Bed was acceptable. Toilet tank would suddenly fill so their is a suspected leak of the seal to the bowl. Stairway and halls could have used so vacuum attention.

Dave (10/5): - 2 night stay while attending a surprise BD gathering. Complimentary breakfast included hot bacon, sausages, eggs and potatoes but the real plus was the specialized self grinding coffee machine - mochaccino vs mocha finally compared :)
Ted (10/5): - Staff were excellent. Checked in expecting two queen beds but go one. The front desk was very accommodating and put us in the double queen with no extra charge. Booked two extra nights because my wife was ill and again they were accommodating. Gym is small but equipment was good enough for me. Cleaning staff did a great job on the room. I would stay here again.
Randall (8/5): Very good - Property was clean, beds were fresh and overall staff were quite accommodating. The continental breakfast was rather poor. Both coffee dispensers were empty with no effort by staff to replenish them. The electronic coffee dispenser stopped the option of various types of coffee and was limited to flavoured coffee or hot chocolate. At 8:30 (the breakfast goes to 10am) there were zero potatoes, a few warm sausages in addition to fresh ones that were not preheated (they were cold as the fridge to touch) and the staff added eggs that were very cold. Needless to say to say we packed our bags, got a hot coffee from the local Tim Hortons and headed back to Edmonton where we enjoyed a wonderful brunch.

Matthew (6/5): - The Foxwood caters to the boom and bustle of the DV oilfield. The parking lot was full of work trucks and welding rigs. The hotel is starting to show its age and requires a a face lift. The room had a toilet that barely flushed, peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and we ended up having to get rid of multiple insects (not sure how they kept getting in). We also found a ripped blue medical (rubber) glove on the floor which was gross. It was ok in a pinch. 6.5/10.
