The rooms are large and clean and serviced everyday if you don’t tell them not to. Breakfast is one of the best around and the restaurant serves up great meal for lunch and dinner. The pools are great to lounge around and kids and adults. The hotel is in a great location just at the start of Poppies 1, close to everything. Having to leave

• Ruud (8/5): Prima hotel voor één of enkele dagen Kuta beach. - Ruime schone kamer, mooie zwembaden (met bar in het zwembad ;-), vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, prima ontbijtbuffet inclusief 'egg-station', mooi landgoed. Kamers bovenetage enkel per trap bereikbaar, met zware koffers is een kamer beneden beter.
• Janet (9/5): Great place, it really is an oasis in Kuta. - The gardens are beautiful, constantly tended by a dedicated team, it really makes it an oasis in Kuta. The staff were all charming helpful & smiling. Pool area is great for relaxing. Room was dated but spotlessly clean and very spacious with thoughtful additions, slippers, robes etc Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooms do need an update.

• Victoria (8/5): A lovely garden atmosp - Lovely pools and gardens. Fantastic location but Poppies 1 is declining in popularity and the nearest part of the beach is very eroded. I'm not sure the area will ever recover its popularity like years ago. The staff were exceptional including front reception, bar tenders, wait staff and gardeners. They forgot to organised the breakfast box we ordered when we left early, but the staff quickly organised something.

• Hartmut (10/5): Eine wohltuende Oase im Getümmel von Kuta - Der Luxus Bungalow hatte eine sehr geräumige Aufteilung. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und abwechselungsreich. Auch Europäer fanden etwas. Die Lage war aussergewöhnlich. Eine ruhige Oase auf der Party Meile von Kuta. Keine Umkleide am Pool. Mit der Strandnähe kann man mit Baden nicht viel anfangen. Das entsprechende Foto gibt das nicht wider.

• Sherri'Lee (7/5): Overall nice resort in a beautiful garden setting - We were due to arrive at this resort late at night, however our flight was cancelled and we arrived the next day. We notified the management about this as soon as we were not notified about our flight.. we didn’t arrive until lunchtime. The next day and management told us we gave them “late notice”. We were not refunded for that night unfortunately. The bungalow itself was nice, the outdoor shower was a nice touch to the bathroom facilities. Due to the bungalow roof being quite high, it doesn’t get super cold in there, however it was still comfortable. The hotel is close to the front street and beach with many restaurants and quick Marta accessible. We only stayed for a short while so we didn’t use all of the facilities like the pool. The breakfast was good with a variety of different options. The bungalow didn’t get very cool

• Marina (9/5): - Our bungalow's location was great, just next to the swimming poool and restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. Good buffet breakfast with many different options. Also, it was my friend's birthday during our stay and hotel arrange a cake and birthday song for her, as well as a basket of flowers, making our stay really special. Nothing really.

• Loraine (8/5): Great for a short stay, but small rooms for 3 people. - Room was clean and as in the pictures, but was very narrow with 3 people. Resort was nice and peaceful and green, but 5 minute walk to the beach and main kuta area. Breakfast buffet was great with large selection, and the pool bar made good drinks as well. Although we booked a room for 3, we were only revised with 2 chairs, 2 towels etc in the room.

Great location too, in the middle of the city center but it was quiet. The matrass was a little hard for my personal liking. The water kettle didn't stop automatically so when I checked all the water was gone 😁 not a big problem but some things (appliances) are in need of replacement.

We stayed in a Villa with its own pool which was such a great space for our teenagers. Would definitely book this again! For my son’s birthday the restaurant staff bought out a cake and sang at breakfast time plus left us some beautiful flowers in the Villa. Breakfast buffet is a bit limited, but we knew that from previous reviews but we lived our villa so much we didn’t mind.

Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable. The pool closed 8:00pm (just a personal thing - I like a quiet swim before going to bed).
• Filip (7/5): Beautiful villa, friendly staff, absolutely terrible location. - Nice and quiet beach with promenade - great for morning runs, for example. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our villa with a private pool was nice and quiet and great for relaxing. The villa itself would benefit from a renovation - almost everything was quite worn out, though still clean and functioning. One thing that bothered me the most was the location of the property. We have tried to avoid such terrible areas during our stay - we definitely prefer jungle, rice fields and calm environment that this beautiful island can provide. But our flight got canceled last minute, and we were looking for a place near the airport for a few nights, so we chose this property. I understand that the property itself is not responsible for this, but the area around it is absolutely atrocious and one huge tourist trap. There are child beggars outside on the main street, tattoo parlours, bars, various vendors constantly telling you "come here, best price for you, my friend", etc. You don't walk 30 seconds without some child begging you for money or someone trying to sell you knockoff goods - somebody literally tried to sell me drugs at 1 pm. The area outside is only usable during the early morning hours, when it is a nice place for a run or a walk.
• Patrizia (10/5): Sehr entspannend und ruhig im hektischen Kuta! - Tolles ruhiges Resort mit super Restaurant in Fussweite zum Strand! Großes Frühstücksbuffet wo immer nachgelegt wird! Personal sehr freundlich und der Bungalow sehr geräumig! Wir kommen sicher wieder! Alles war bestens!

• JOHN (6/5): A Little Disappointing - We have stayed at this resort many times and loved it It's in a great position pool great rooms good and clean But this time we were disappointed with a few things The towels and sheets were Dirty and Grey Beach Towels Old with holes in them and some staff don't seem as happy as before Overall stay was good but these issue need to be fixed to get repeat customers Sheets Towels need replacing urgently

Not there long enough to use pools extra, but all looked in good condition. Rains came during night, but staff out early cleaning property. No time to draw conclusions due to shortness of stay

• Erik (8/5): Practical for one night near airport - Breakfast: Egg station, toast machine, 1 type of jam in small packages, 4 Indonesian warm dishes, croissants, a couple of different cakes, pancakes, fruit: melon, pineapple, papaya and banana. Pool: Well kept. Nice poolbar. Breakfast juices: 2 types of juices from dispenser, not freshly squeezed, but diluted juices made from juice concentrate. Pool: Small. Not very good for swimming.
