• Jessica (10/5): - I always saw this property from the highway and never thought I’d actually get a chance to stay. It was enjoyable for some thing last minute. I def recommend as all employees were pleasant as long as you are to them. You get it. Other than that, there is high way noise.

• Laurie (10/5): - I had a stink bug I killed the first night, and the 2 night I was there. I hated the people above us as it sounded like all the did was walk back and forth. Also don't like to hear a lot of yelling or cussing, and that was all one guy could do. Thank goodness that last part was the day we checked out. From now on I ask for a 3rd floor room and in the front, or I won't be back. I was on the pool side and way to noisy, I stayed there about a yr ago and the front side and 3rd floor was amazing over there.
• RHONDA (6/5): - Check in and check out we’re flawless. Don’t disturb was followed. However Beetle/bugs on the ceiling at night. TV very small. No hair products and only one large bath towel.

• Donlyn (4/5): - American Inn needs COMPLETE OVERHAUL! Looks dirty, feels dirty, IS DIRTY! I felt sorry just being in the room. The walls, baseboards, even ceiling looked dirty and stained. Carpet is sticky, probably filthy! I did NOT want to shower, bathe, use toilet, or sink. Everything has rust stains and other marks on surfaces that look like it's dirty. I didn't want to even use water to wash up. Didn't want to touch faucets. Brought disinfectant wipes and sprays to clean things. I didn't want to get ON or IN the bed. I'm sure spread was not washed before putting on bed. Didn't trust sheets either. I wanted to cover everything in plastic and use my own pillows, blankets.... only use the room for the locked door and privacy to sleep. • Ronald (2/5): HOTEL STAY GONE WRONG - Unfortunate for me that I paid on line cause when I got there, they told me that my room didn't pass inspection as if I worked there and was responsible for cleaning under the bed and underneath all appliances. Their mistake left me without a place to stay overnight. I felt humiliated, depressed, and distraught. I had done nothing wrong. Their accusation was completely unfounded,and the punishment should have went to staff not an innocent person who only wanted to enjoy his hotel stay. I suggest no one should stay there. And if you do, get a lawyer and take pictures of your room before and after.

Check in and out was done quickly and with efficiency. Thank you very much. I will surely recommend American Motel to my friends. I really enjoyed my stay.

• Ty (8/5): American Motel stay Kansas City - I did have an issue where my reservation was made from a third party company. I'm mistakenly chose one day later instead of the current day to extend my stay. However it would have been nice for them to understand that my reservation was confirmed and just simply utilize that to continue my current stay. However, I had to still go back to the third party company to change my reservation which was a bit tedious. Other than that they themselves did a great job at helping me. The pillows are not very sturdy which I like sturdy pillows so I had to use three to feel good. Other than that I was satisfied at the level I expected.

Noticed chip crumbs on the floor, crumbs in the sink and blue water mark with water rings on the counter. Unfortunately I stayed for a couple hours and left got another room at another hotel. Felt like I had something crawling all over me and was itchy.

Expected it was good to get away from the children and the house but it wasn't as clean as it should have been there was trash in the room the little fridge was not keeping cold and they had roaches in the bathroom we will not use them again and people ruining it and out all time of the night and people knocking on wrong door.

They took the sheets and towels but left the pillows and blankets on the beds. Guess those don't get washed. Had what looked like food on the bed spring of the one bed. They moved the bed off when taking the sheets. What looked like.mold on the wall of the shower.

• David (4/5): Avoid if you can. - Walked into the lobby and was blown away by the smell of cigarette smoke. Most the entire place permeated the smell. Expressed concern to the desk clerk as we reserved a non-smoking room. She said yes they had a non-smoking room for us. First room we got had strong smell of smoke. Second room on the 4th floor was better. Lots and lots of other concerns that I’ll go into later.
• Ashley (2/5): Horrible - I killed 10 roaches ( not exaggerated). Smelled like smoke even though ot was a no smoking room. Sheets were dirty and filled with cigarette burns. I checked out a day early. I refused to stay another night.
• William (4/5): - They still have my deposit and I was there two nights so they still have my deposit of $50 which doesn’t sound like much until you need it and I have never had a hotel keep my deposit more thann4 days after check out this place has had it for two weeks after check out I have contacted the bank they it’s the hotels fault and the hotel blames the bank and me right smack in the middle of their little love spat or whatever this is ugh!!!!!
