Guest Reviews
- Rosenthal (10/5): - Nice staff; safe in a less fortunate area. Spacioua and nice air conditioning. Shower ok bed ok. Lost getting there a bit menacing on the streets. Shower too hard and water wasnt much hot. Lights in eoom shone through blinds a bit.
- Marvin (1/5): Worst place to stay!!!! - I didn’t like any of it. The location was horrible. Prostitutes were getting dropped off every 10-15 minutes. Drug deals were taking place in the open. One of our rooms had roaches. Another one had issues with opening the door. Another one had issues with the toilet flushing and didn’t have a dead bolt. I was worried that someone would mess either way my motorcycle while I was sleeping. It was a shitty place and I don’t know why it was even on booking.com. The BBC worst part is that you have to pay once you book and you lose your money. We ended up getting a different hotel and lost our money for the night. I didn’t like any of it. - Rick (1/5): It was horrible - Our room was clean We went through 4 sets of key cards to open our door, the first one would open it but then if you went outside and came back to open it the keys wouldn’t work so we had to go to the office and get another set. And there was prostitution going on in the parking lot, drug deals and one of our friends had roaches in the room and another the door wouldn’t lock
- Elaine (1/5): I would never stay near this place again. The girl at the front desk was nice. However, the room was absolutely disgusti - Nothing about the property was nice at all. It was old smelling broken towel, hangers dirty walls just filthy.
- Iara (1/5): Golpe! Fujam - Nothing as condições do lugar eram totalmente inadequadas e inseguras.
- Aaron (1/5): ⭐☆☆☆☆ Avoid Sterling Gardens at All Costs I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at Sterling Gardens. The locat - Jacuzzi in the room Staff, cleanliness, and location
- Gary (5/5): Very nice staff, blanket and pillows had stains on them - I like how close it was to places I needed to go to. Pillows and blankets had stains on them. Room smell like smoke
- Jones (5/5): - The tub was nasty
- Ana (10/5): - Si muy cerca todo
- Juan Valentin (2/5): - DIRTY CLEAN ROOM STAF
- Herbert (10/5): - Will definitely be back again Soon
- Rodrigo (8/5): - Good rate on mexico independence weekend. 10min away from the vegas strip.
- Norman (8/5): -
- Juan Carlos (1/5): Non existent customer service - Beware of this property, THEY DON'T ANSWER the phone on file, they don't answer the messages through the app's chat (other than automated texts).
We made a mistake by booking this hotel, we ended up having a delay in our trip and we were not going to meet the check in times, we tried getting help from anyone in here for two days and nobody could help us out.
They took our money,, NO ONE HELPED US, and Booking.com was no help either in this situation.
The only text on the app from them was thay they'd refuse to give me a refund citing that the policies were very clear.
Be careful when booking this place, I hope you save yourself a potential nightmare
- Rajendra (2/5): - Rude staff.
- Herbert (8/5): Will be back - Always at home there period
- Patrick (3/5): Fulfilled a gap - but will never tell anyone Iever stayed there - Had a pet and needed a pet friendly place Location is very sketchy - it’s lower quality than holiday inn - but oddly as expensive !
- Valerie (1/5): Stay someplace else - The staff was friendly I didn’t like the fact that I got the room there at that hotel because of the fact that it had a Jacuzzi in the room, but it didn’t actually have a Jacuzzi because the jets didn’t work. Anthony didn’t even hold his own water. I had to sit on a washcloth to make it hold the water.
- herbert (10/5): I'll be back soon - Most comfortable place in Vegas for me and I really appreciate the owner and manager and whole staff on site
- Mikaele (10/5): - The room and the entire property were nice and clean. Quiet at nightbas well! The mattress was very comfortable and we both got a good night rest. Judt a quicknone night stay and it worked out perfectly.
- herbert (10/5): - Everything's fantastic
- herbert (10/5): - I'll be back again soon
- Susan (3/5): Poor - It was easy to locate, and also very convenient for us where we wanted to tour Fremont..Motel grounds were well kept The bed for us was very uncomfortable The area is very sketchy. Room was very dated, and the bath tub VERY stained
- Amy (5/5): Decent price - It was quite and still close to fun things to go do The room wasn’t very clean the shower held water and walking around the room bare feet would leave our feet black with dirt
- Nenette (5/5): Passable -
- Roalt (1/5): Bad -
- Megan (10/5): - This is a funky old motel on the part of Fremont Street that hasn't been gentrified yet. It's a little outdated, but clean and an excellent value. I had a great soaking tub in my room, and there's a really nice courtyard with big shade trees. Looked like there was a dog area, too. The front desk and housekeeping staff were super friendly and helpful. And bonus - the towels were big and thick, way nicer than your standard hotel towels! I also liked parking right in front of my room. I would stay here again, overall excellent value.
- Luis (4/5): - The place is very sad and there are very strange people around.
- herbert (10/5): I will be back soon - Best place in Vegas for me
- Bella (8/5): Decent room for pricing and location for a one-night stay. - The bed was comfortable, and shower itself was good. The room and bathroom we stayed were very old and needs a lot of repairs, painting and/or remodeling. Could make a good use of one more chair since not desk was available. Very simple accommodations even though the room has a small kitchen.
- Kaitlin (4/5): - the outside looks really cute but the rooms are outdated and not cleaned very well. some of the staff is polite and helpful while some is rude. the wifi and tv signal strength wasn’t reliable. but if i had nowhere else to stay this would be a last resort.
- Jim H. (10/5): - The staff were very helpful, even if the property didn't give them a lot to work with.
- Gilbert (10/5): - Got to park right in front of room
- Daniel (4/5): Well Below The Rating - I booked this hotel because it was rated over 7.0 on the Hotels app, it had free parking, it was under $125 per night, and it was within walking distance of Fremont Street Experience.
Not worth the stay.
The rooms badly need remodeling. The showers have exposed rusty spots, there aren’t enough lights to keep the room illuminated, and my door wouldn’t close properly. To make matters worse, the pool, which is a rare one with a 9 foot deep end, was closed even though it was April and the temps were 70 and sunny.
The young lady at the front desk was the one positive of this whole experience. She was friendly and professional, and she immediately had maintainence take care of my bad door handle.
I don’t recommend staying here until the whole complex gets remodeled.
- Fred (8/5): - Old property in not-the-best area. Bathroom (sink) was not clean.
And please: clean out your office!
- JORGE EDUARDO (2/5): - Muy malo, en todos los aspectos. Le falta limpieza.
- Candice (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay were from mi we will be back
- Herbert (10/5): Will be back - Felt like home away from home
- Valeria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rolando (2/5): - No good. Everything old and bad smell. Overall bad experience.
- Oscar (10/5): Exceptional - Cleaness , quiet
- Francisco (10/5): - It was great. Nice, quiet, loved the mirrors in front of the bed!
- Isaiah (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (6/5): - Ci Ci was excellent, but property is in need of remodeling, it was clean
- Terry (2/5): - Secretly charged my credit card $200 after i checked out. Burned incense in the room for smell good, never smoked.
Shady how they charged me $200 for burning an incense.
- Mary (9/5): Just to sleep - Very clean People getting arrested/ room next to us there was a couple firing and the wife super stone
- Herbert (10/5): Not my last time - Most comfortable and relaxing place for me in downtown Las Vegas nv and I have stayed Most every casino on the Strip and Fremont experience areas. Most comfortable here
- Denise (10/5): - The property was nice & staff was helpful. the surrounding area was a little sketchy but nothing happened to our property or personals
- Mateus (3/5): Poor - I didn't feel safe. The gate was open all night and no one at the door. Someone kept knocking on my door during the night and we almost thought of calling the police
- Michelle (2/5): Do not book - The room decor was cute & room came with microwave and fridge. It advertised non smoking available. Turned out all the rooms were. When I arrived, the 1st thing the girl said to me was, due to the guest before me, I had no TV unless I wanted to use my own Netflix account. I asked if I could have a different room, she said none available, but, some obvious long term guests said that was not true. I entered my room and the decor was kinda cute, big stop sign, route 66 & other road signs on wall but, that is where my acceptance of the room ended. The floor was dirty, like obvious spills that they attempted to pull a table in middle of room, far from couch to cover. I then had to use my cell to call office ( no phone in room) where to get ice, I was told 711 down the street. I called again to ask if there was a blow dryer or iron available and was told yes but, girl had to go collect it from another guest and no ironing board. Next thing I noticed was no curtain on bathroom window, I couldn't see out but, had no idea what view from other side was. The sink and tub were dirty as was the back and bottom of toilet, window sills and wooden bed frame very dusty. There was a desk but, no light bulb in light and no other light on that side of room. The plastic blinds in windows had several gaps that I spent a lot of time doing the best I could to fix which brings me to the area, I had some unwanted attention from several guests/residents? And, some uncomfortable interaction. I decided to walk the half block over to 711 for ice and regretted that the moment I got there, I had intended to walk just one more light down to go to a market but, 50 steps later I turned around and called for uber. There were scary folks all over the place and immediately I knew I was not in a safe place. My uber driver pulled right up to my side as he could see I was getting unwanted attention from some men in front of 711 . I jumped in his car & he said, neither of us belonged in that neighborhood and rushed us out of there.
- Herbert (10/5): will definitely be back - Always Sooooooo freaking relaxing and comfortable
- Joshua (1/5): Bad -
- Edgar (1/5): Bad -
- lanny (10/5): - Great people quiet good staff
- Herbert (10/5): visit again - Very relaxing safe and comfortable
- Bradford (6/5): Pleasant -
- Herbert (10/5): Often - Staff is fantastic and property is very homey for me. Home away from home in Vegas.
- Andrea G (8/5): - If you are looking for a 1950's motel stay in Vegas this is it: CiCi at the front desk was super nice and responsive and her house keeping staff was great too! Easy walk to downtown Vegas & back, but a car ride to the strip-bring a car. We loved our stay! Good price too. Neighborhood is a bit rough.
- Paul (6/5): - It was very basic with lots of noise outside of the rooms late at night/early morning.
- Marlane7 (5/5): Passable - The service was good and the bed was comfortable, location is good. The room wasn't what was advertised on booking.com. there are alot of homeless ppl and dodgey ppl in the area.
- Philip (2/5): Piece of crap motel - Nobody there to check in with.
- Herbert (10/5): will be back again - Always Sooooooo refreshingly friendly staff starting with CeCe. Awesome and very polite. Everyone else very Nice
- Carlos (4/5): Disappointing - I love the staff I always stay in this property But time before last I had an issue with a rat and this last time was the bathroom toilet would not flush I ended up leaving that same night
- Craig (2/5): Not recommend. - You can park in front of the room and friendly staff. Cheap repairs on the bed. Most outlets don't work. Toilet don't work properly. Did not get my deposit back.
- Daniel (2/5): - Front desk guy was rude on the phone. Get to the hotel and get my room, get inside and there was a dead cockroach on the floor, couldn't take longer than a 4 minute shower before the bathtub filled up with water due to terrible draining, walls were dirty, towels were stained, bathroom door wouldn't close. Id post pictures if it let me. I never give bad reviews but i honestly wouldnt stay here again if it were free.
- vivienne (10/5): - Very nice place to stay over night
- Kathleen (8/5): - People were very nice
- Glen (10/5): - Nice and quiet!!!
- Abraham (1/5): The room was rundown and smelled. We were locked out of our room at night because the battery failed on our automatic d - Nothing The staff was and rooms were awful.
- Shawn P (2/5): - First time ever going to Vegas and this place made it a horrible experience
- Theresa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christine (6/5): - The room was ok. The carpet left your socks black. No coffee pot, blowdryer or ice machine. Room was clean except carpet. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed one.
- Roy (5/5): Good enough for our pet. - The place is good for traveler’s with dogs. The place has little park and the hotel is one level only. The age of the hotel shows.
- herbert (10/5): very Nice for me - New favorite place to stay in Vegas now. Really comfortable there and the whole staff is great 👍... I will be there again soon 😀 🙂 👍
- matthew (10/5): - Excellent place if you have a dog they are pet friendly overall it was a nice s t a y employees were friendly shout out to CC she was very very helpful and can the owner good guy I would definitely stay here again
- Herbert (10/5): Will be Regular - Very old and well kept on historic Fremont st and its been a long time since I have felt this comfortable and safe staying anywhere not just Vegas
- luisito (10/5): - I loved the receptionist,she 's so friendly
- Herbert (8/5): pleasantly surprised - Really very comfortable with everything except room was a little toooooo warm in Vegas. A/C definitely needs to be upgraded but so glad I finally stayed there. All employees were great and I will definitely be there on a regular basis 👍
- Greg (2/5): - The room was terribly hot! I had to put the mattress on the floor and sleep in front of the sir conditioner. The shower was covered with soap residue. There was little to no cold water from the sink. The Direct TV box kept overheating and would stop playing so I had to put a frozen dinner on top of it to cool it off.
- Delia (6/5): - The place itself was great. I felt safe within the gates and the premise was monitored pretty well from what I could tell at check in. The surrounding area not so great but we had no problems. Great if you have a dog with you, which is why I initially booked but was able to find a sitter. I would stay here again.
- christopher (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay. Very clean, comfortable and cozy room. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I plan on rebooking in the future.
- Andreina (6/5): I only gave a 6 because of the location - Location The room, nothing like the pictures a lot of damage and ac did not work at all
- Judy (8/5): Very good - No stairs. Dogs allowed. No smoking. Fridge in room Need upgrade
- Shellye (7/5): Good - Loved the spa tub & the size of the room Outside lighting was extremely bright, making it hard to sleep. They would benefit in a darker window shade or curtains.
- Cardwell (2/5): Was a different stay. - I liked that it was decently located to the Freemont Experience. I didn't like that after hours you can't get help. We had no toilet for most of the night due to it wouldn't flush. Stack of towels by Jacuzzi had old chips bag under it. Called and left a message about the toilet and staff didn't even respond to the message until he went to the office.
- Jason (8/5): Fremont Street getaway - On Fremont Street just east of Downtown Las Vegas
- Uladzimir (8/5): Very good -
- Greaver (8/5): Good - Didn't like all the people going in n out at the place next door
- Julia (10/5): Excellent - Everything There was nothing wrong we liked the property
- Lyndon (6/5): Pleasant - Location is good. The could of clean inside better especially the bathroom
- Badria (8/5): Very good -
- Maribel (8/5): Will stay here again!! - Location was excellent, there was a slight hotel smell, but after I bough aerosol spray, the rest of the stay and expectation was great. Value for place, excellent, will stay here again!! The slight hotel smell, but most hotels smell like this. A little Fabreze and it was all good.
- Dattatray (5/5): Passable -
- Raymond (1/5): Bad -
- Oscar (1/5): Absolutely do no recommend staying here - Nothing My friend tried to check in using the reservation info I sent him and they wouldn't let him (I had tried to reach them earlier to ask them but no one picked up the phone). Ok, this can happen sometimes, but this hotel seems to be one of the few in the 21st century that decides to leave the reception desk unmanned at night (in the "city that never sleeps", no less). Even on the phone they wouldn't let me authorize him to check-in and I needed to be there in person. Luckily I made it just in time before they closed.
The hotel is in a terrible part of town where we saw a 7-11 cordoned off and surrounded by police officers. The property is not well-maintained and parts of it look like an abandoned, unfinished, and unsecured construction project.
The keys to the room get demagnetized extremely easily (a very scary proposition given their lack of night services). The room itself was a non-smoking room yet clearly smelled of smoke (again, as it was night, this situation was unresolvable). The fridge door was straight up broken.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Delorme (7/5): Good value, clean rooms, and pool looked nice but the location isn't ideal. - A good stay, clean room, decently priced considering everything that was happening in Vegas that weekend. Just location. East Fremont is a tough sell for Taxis at night. Walking during the day is fine but still a little sketchy from the motel to Fremont experience. I personally wouldn't want to walk at night.
- Stefanie (5/5): Passable -
- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
