After staying here, I received phone calls from several numbers, including 407-235-7391 & 407-264-4080, which my phone shows as HILTON, even though I do not have them in my contacts. I responded, and the person said he was from Hilton and offered me a deal to stay 4 days in Las Vegas at the Hilton for just $250. Then he asked me for my credit card, but I refused to give it over the phone. He insisted so strongly that it was very difficult to explain to him why I did not want to do it, so I had no choice but to hang up the call abruptly and block the phone numbers. Everything looked like spam because another friend told me it happened to him weeks ago. If it is spam, Marriott Memberships data may have been hacked. If the call was not a spam call, Marriott may consider how to address their Marriott Members in offering this type of deal.

Das Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber. Swimmingpool und Fitness waren sehr gut und schon früh morgens geöffnet. Das Parking für das Mietauto fanden wir teuer. Beim Frühstück hätten wir gerne eine Auswahl an Gemüsen gehabt.
- Sabrina (4/5): Schöner Aufenthalt in LA - beim nächsten Mal im anderen Hotel - Sehr nettes Personal und schön große Zimmer. Bei den Kommentaren zum Frühstück können wir uns nur anschließen. Es war jeden Tag das selbe und nicht sehr kreativ. Ohne uns in Kenntnis zu setzen, wurde unser Aufenthalt einfach doppelt abgebucht. Uns ist es durch Zufall am vorletzten Tag aufgefallen. Zwar hat man sich aufrichtig entschuldigt und versichert, dass das Geld innerhalb von 3-5 Tagen wieder zurück gebucht sei, doch nach einer Woche warten wir immer noch vergebens und eine Antwort auf unsere Mailanfrage ist bisher auch unbeantwortet geblieben. Wenn man bedenkt, dass es in der heutigen Zeit möglich ist, Geld innerhalb weniger Minuten zu überweisen und es sich hier nicht nur um ein paar Dollar handelt, ist das mehr als ärgerlich und wir können jedem nur empfehlen beim Check-In genau zu prüfen, was von der Kreditkarte abgebucht wurde.

- Oscar (9/5): - The hotel is very central and you have the tourist places of Hollywood and the nearby parks Parking is not included, they charge the expensive valet parking or the option is to leave it in public parking and pay
- BarbL114 (10/5): Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms - I had a great stay here while in town for a conference. The front desk staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. The room itself was large, with a full-size refrigerator and microwave (and stovetop!). The bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The location was incredibly convenient to LA Live, the basketball/hockey arena, and convention center. I also needed to grab something from a grocery store, and it was only a 10-minute walk away. The room size and that kind of store nearby are so rare for a city hotel! Plus, I could see the Hollywood sign from my room. Would definitely stay here again.

- Martin (6/5): Over all, not a bad place to stay. But that shower was a Nair disappointment and really ruined what could have otherwis - Location great for a Lakers or Kings game. Room size very good with all necessities. Shower pressure was a dribble at best.

W Room was well prepped and they even gave us bottled water and a Christmas popcorn gift bag. Breakfast was run of the mill residence inn fare of at least oatmeal was cooked. Too bad pool wasn’t heated but didn’t expect it anyway.

- Lyrkemn Millius (10/5): Relaxing Stay with Spacious Lounges, Clean Rooms, and Convenient Facilities with a Dedicated Staff - What stood out to me the most was the lounge area as soon as you walk into the hotel. It is absolutely amazing — thoughtfully designed with a wide variety of seating options, from comfortable resting chairs to work-friendly spaces. It feels welcoming, modern, and relaxing at the same time. The layout flows perfectly into the breakfast lounge, which is another highlight. Being able to enjoy breakfast while watching TV made the experience even better and more comfortable, especially in the morning. The rooms were also excellent. The housekeeping staff clearly takes their work very seriously. Almost everything was cleaned and replaced, and you could tell how thorough they were — even without being there to watch it happen. The room felt fresh, well-maintained, and carefully prepared. The pool area is also well done. The pools are fine and relaxing, with cabanas, resting chairs, and a convenient towel storage area that you can easily access on the 3rd floor after scanning your room card. It makes going to the pool very simple and comfortable. On the same floor, the gym is also located. Although I did not personally use it, I noticed that it has a lot of equipment available for guests. The washers and dryers are also located on that floor, which is very convenient if you need to wash and clean your clothes during your stay. The staff overall deserves special recognition. They were consistently attentive and professional, cleaning and wiping tables around the clock. It was clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities here. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in downtown Los Angeles. While my overall stay at Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown Los Angeles was very positive, one area that could use improvement is the pool maintenance. The pool area did not appear to be as clean as it should be. On several occasions when I went to swim, I noticed some hair and other debris in the water, which took away from the experience. With better and more consistent cleaning, the pool area could easily match the high standards seen throughout the rest of the hotel.

We will clearly be looking for another brand next time

The room smelled funny - like old cooking 😞 Also - we had our two boys staying with us and despite saying they would make up the sofa bed, they just put sheets in our room. We then had to make up the bed late at night when we returned to the room.

- Michael (8/5): Accessible Bathroom - The hotel was clean and they have an exceptional staff. I was in a hadicp wheelchair accessible studio which was actually a little o. The cramped size kitchen area was large but both the living area and bathroom where extremely cramped. There was not much room to turn around in my chair in the bath room...The worst part was the tire used in the bathroom...in bare feet and especially with any water on the tile they become very slippery which makes for a fall risk. Putting towels on the floor doesnt work well because the towels bunch up with the tire of the wheelchair. Im supprised they allow those tiles in the bathroom seems like they would be a liability issue for the hotel. I did slip 2 time but was lucky i was by the grab bars on the wall which prevented me from falling. Unfortunately even the placing of the grab bars was inadequate. The bench in the rollin shower was also installed incorrectly its installed sideway wich means when you sit on it your directly looking at a shower curtain instead of facing the shower stall.

Me habría gustado que el área de estar y cocina estuvieran en ambientes separados, desde la habitación podía ver el letrero de Hollywood con un buen zoom. Al desayuno le hace falta una estación de homelet ya que no hay mucha variedad. El desayuno muy simple y pocas opciones
