The breakfast egg, bacon and cheese bagels had good flavor but were cold. The hotel was under construction and half of the floor had missing wallpaper and/or wasn’t painted. The ice machine on our floor wasn’t there, so we had to go to a different floor when we needed ice. There was a lot of dust from the construction and we both were sneezing repeatedly throughout our stay.

- Kristen (5/5): Okay... - The staff was nice and friendly The price was too much, especially for all the renovations going on. Should be a discount! The pool was closed because of the rain, but obviously, it's been closed for a while because it looked disgusting like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, and spots were formed all in the pool, just nasty. The food for breakfast, even though it was free, was not good!! Not many options it looked like it was just sitting there for a while. Our door in the bathroom wouldn't close, and even our door to the room wouldn't stay close as well. The room dont know if it was cleaned because the people before has there was left over food still in fridge and cabinet drawers.

- Char (8/5): Under construction - The hotel is under construction at the moment. They did their very best to keep the dust to a minimum but there was still dust everywhere. The elevator was out of service most of the weekend and we were put on the 3rd floor. I also have a bad back and hips, so it made it difficult going up-and-down the stairs. We asked for a room on the 1st floor but there weren't any left and that's where most of the construction was going on. But again, the staff tried to make things as comfortable as possible. Our ROOM was excellent... clean, fresh and smelled good. It looked brand new. If it weren't for the construction and non use of the elevator, it would have been a perfect 5 star.

Weather improved after noon and pool was still closed the rest of the day!!! Front desk lady refused to go test the chlorine, my boys were disappointed!!! Had booked with Holiday inn previously, will definitely be going back to them!!!

ALSO YOU COULD NOT FULLY CLOSE THE CURTAINS, SO THE COLD AIR WAS ABLE TO COME IN, IN ADDITION TO YOU HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE ROOM TEMPERATURE! The thermostat's were on cold. We found an extra bedded temperature". spread which helped a"little". I would not return only because I need to be in a warm environment. Not typical of Mariott properties.

Jumping around until almost 2am. I couldn’t sleep. It didn’t help that the bed is very uncomfortable. The pillows are nice but the bed itself was hard and lumpy.

- James (2/5): Not as good as before. - The elevators were broken when we arrived and we were booked in a second floor room near the center of the building but the stairs are only on the far end of each floor. My wife has mobility issues and had a hard time getting to the room. Was told we could not get similar room on first floor. The room temp was above 80 degrees when we entered and I had to adjust the thermostat setting to cool it down . Then a storm caused a power outage at 5 pm . No lights, no a/c , no back up power. Power restored at 2am but took a while to cool room back down. Stayed 2nd night with elevators still broken .Asked about rate adjustment but was told manager was not available. No one at front desk when we went to check out so left keys . Mostly disappointed with our stay. We have stayed here before and it was better than this.

- 916garrettl (4/5): Disappointed - I want to start by saying that I stayed here almost 5 years ago on business and enjoyed my stay then. My family and I were coming into town this past weekend for a wedding so I booked two rooms to accommodate thinking it would be a nice stay. I was wrong. First off, the desk clerk at night was very courteous upon a late check in so I’ll give them a star for that. Although no diet drinks to speak of in their “suite shop” which was disappointing, but I can get over that. What I can’t get over was the musty smell of my King Suite, the broken privacy curtain which allowed light to come in at 5:30 am, the gross film on the tile that screamed that it hadn’t been cleaned in some time requiring us to wear sandals so our feet wouldn’t touch the floor, the dead bugs that no one had thought to sweep up, or the live bugs that no one had thought to spray for, and the worst thing is the plethora of pubic hairs left in the bathtub which I have pictures to prove. I am an avid Hilton Brand customer, diamond status going on 10 years and I have never been this disappointed. This hotel is in major need of maintenance, broken elevator, laundry room out of service. All for around $175 a night. I’ve stayed in way better for way less. I feel bad for writing this review, because I have never had to, nor should I have to because this is not what I expect to get as a very loyal Hilton Brand customer. Do better.
