Very comfortable and clean - We loved our room with the pretty wallpaper, very comfortable beds, and considering the house had many guests, and the room was facing the road, it was dead quiet, we could hear a pin drop. Would have liked healthier breakfast options like avocado or smoked salmon, fresh fruit salad, however the breakfast was still delicious.

- Peter (10/5): We had a lovely time at Fairlight Lodge and will definitely return. Thank you. - The location suited our needs perfectly, it was quiet and the free parking was appreciated. There was excellent communication prior to our late arrival and there was a good key safe system for our entry keys, as it was a bank holiday. We soon settled down in our comfortable room with a nice cup of tea. There was even a flask of fresh milk ready for us to collect from the fridge in the breakfast room. We were able to have breakfast at a time convenient for us. It was delicious and freshly prepared to order. We also noticed that Karl and Jude have made a considerable effort to be eco friendly in every respect. We will certainly make a return visit to Fairlight Lodge and highly recommend it to anyone considering staying there. At home we are used to a king sized duvet on a double bed, so found ourselves fighting over the duvet! A minor grumble really.

Once I found my way around, the room was excellent and I appreciated being able to walk straight into the garden. My hosts were friendly and well organised. I never really got a feel of King's Lynn and found driving on Norfolk roads somewhat bad tempered. I achieved a lot however and rated Watatunga highly, having spent some years in Africa.

- Philip (7/5): Comfortable enough for a short stay. - The hosts, Karl and Jude, where very friendly and polite, the room was comfortable with all the necessary facilities including an on-suite bathroom with shower, the breakfast selection was great and I opted for the cooked breakfast with was prepared to order and cooked to my preference. Although the room was comfortable, to me, it was outdated and could do with modernising and a more thorough cleaning as when I arrived there where spiders in the bathroom and cobwebs down the side of the chest of drawers that could of easily been removed with a quick vacuum. The outside parking is on the small size, I was traveling in a mid-sized van and found it hard to manoeuvre in the space especially when there where other cars parked there. Although the cooked breakfast was great it would of been nice to have the option of black pudding within the selection.

- Audrey (10/5): Amazing place and hosts - Everything was perfect. A spotless place, an absolutely warm welcome from Karl who couldn't have been more helpful. Everything about the place was well explained. There's a lot of care that goes into everything Karl and Jude do at Fairlight Lodge. The place is also quite central and has parking. I was able to park the car, and then walk to the train station to pick up my sister, see the fireworks display in the park nearby. We came for a show at the Corn Exchange, it was very easy to walk there and back. Perfect location, highly recommended. The breakfast every day was very tasty, with lots of choice of food cooked on demand, local products, etc. Bonus points for the blackboard describing all the breakfast options :) We had one of the garden rooms, and the view was fantastic, the garden was well cared for. We very much enjoyed it and I will recommend the place to anyone going to King's Lynn There's nothing that we didn't like.

The room was very clean and well set-up. The host's communication was excellent and their welcome was genuine. The breakfast was great. The attention to detail was impressive. This is a good, professional B&B that doesn't cut corners and that offers great value for money.

- Mark Bardsley (9/5): Ideal for a stockcar weekend. - The location is ideal for King's Lynn football club, which is 2 mins away. Also, for Norfolk Arena for speedway or stock racing, which is 5 mins away in a car. Our room was large enough for the two single beds and it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with the usual food on offer. Friendly owners. I would stay here again. There was nothing we disliked.

- Ian (10/5): Lovely long weekend with lovely host. - Karl and Jude were excellent hosts, breakfast was brilliant. You could have whatever you wanted. Location is perfect for the town and area. Lovely short walk through a lovely park to the town. Found enough to do while we were here. Nothing.

- Gerry (10/5): A lovely stay in a homely, clean, comfy B & B with fab breakfasts and fantastic hosts. - Karl and Jude are amazing hosts - so friendly and helpful. The room was homely and clean with very comfy beds and pillows. The breakfast each day was fab. I would highly recommend this B & B and look forward to staying again soon. Nothing - we had a lovely stay.

- Kevin (9/5): Comfortable, convenient and friendly - We had the Sandringham garden room with its own table and two chairs in the garden which was well cared for by this couple. The room itself was fairly cool during the June heatwave, a positive indeed. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Short walk through the park to the town centre. Room had 2 chairs and multiple cushions. But no place to put the cushions other than the chairs. Lovely room but compact so one chair and no cushions probably sufficient

The cooked fresh-to-made breakfast was top-notch - Conveniently located near the must-visit spots in Kings Lynn and its surrounding areas. The beautiful single room had all the amenities you could need along with a fully functional small en-suite bathroom
- Sarah (9/5): A friendly B&B in a convenient situation - The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. There was always a lovely fresh fruit salad and creamy natural yoghurt as well as a choice of cereals, plus homemade jam and marmalade. The town was just within walking distance - approximately 20 minutes via the park so a pleasant walk. The road outside was fairly busy but the windows were sound-proofed although this meant keeping them closed on a hot humid night or it would be noisy. Karl was very friendly and helpful. Our room (the Hunstanton) was nicely decorated. Loads of space to hang clothes in the wardrobe. Nice biscuits with the tea. A lounge/ TV room would have been a nice addition but as there was a TV in the room, not entirely necessary. The parking was a bit tight but there was always some space. The shower was hot but had only a light spray and the fan noise afterwards went on a bit long. Not sure whether the garden was for guest use but it wasn't mentioned to us.
