The hotel already has a pool playground downstairs for children and people who want to play, which is good as the hotel had one pool for the adults and one for children so in general the facilities are very good.

- G. (7/5): Goed locatie en mooi zwembad - Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. goede service. goede matrassen. Wij hadden een kamer met een slechte en smerige koelkast, maar deze werd na mijn klacht binnen een half uur meteen omgeruild voor een nieuwe koelkast. Ook werd ons bed om getoverd naar een 3 persoons bed gezien we een kind op de kamer hadden ipv 2 losse 1 persoons bedden hadden we 1 groot bed. De grote van de kamer versus de kamers van de andere hotel waar wij de afgelopen 3 weken hebben gezeten was dit een domper voor een hogere prijs. De zelfde kamer wilden wij 2 dagen extra boeken en dast kwam op Booking.com neer op dik 500 euro. zodoende hebben wij een ander hotel gekozen om ons verblijf in Pattaya te verlengen.

- Armen (3/5): - The main highlight of this hotel is its location. It’s a short distance from the beachfront and also conveniently close to the second line, with many cafes, restaurants, bars, massage places, and shops nearby. First, we ordered food by the pool — fish and chips — and the fish was clearly spoiled and smelled terrible. This would have been impossible not to notice during cooking, yet the dish was still served. Second, during peak hours in the morning and evening, when people are going to breakfast or heading out, if you stay on the upper floors, be prepared to wait 5–10 minutes or even longer for the elevator. Third, check-out at 12 PM was too early for us, so we checked out at 2:30 PM, and we were charged 1,700 THB for the extra two and a half hours, which is quite expensive for a hotel of this level. Most importantly, despite having a balcony, smoking is not allowed, and we were also charged 1,000 THB for smoking on the balcony — even though the door was kept closed at all times and there was no smell inside the room.

- Goda (5/5): Comfortable Stay, but Several Operational Improvements Needed - The location of the hotel is great. While the stay overall was comfortable, there are a few areas where the hotel could significantly improve the guest experience: Internal transport within the property: The property is fairly spread out, and a buggy service within the compound (similar to what Holiday Inn offers) would make it much easier for guests to move around comfortably. Limited bar facilities: Currently there is only one bar in the hotel, and it is quite small. During peak hours it becomes crowded, so expanding the space or adding another bar/lounge option would improve the experience. Room essentials and housekeeping: Many basic room essentials are not stocked proactively. Guests need to call housekeeping repeatedly for simple items that ideally should already be available in the room. Breakfast variety and replenishment: The breakfast spread needs more variety. Even basic items such as nuts for cereal were missing, and some dishes that ran out were not replenished in a timely manner, which affected the overall breakfast experience. Lobby welcome drink hygiene: The water jar used for the welcome drink in the lobby appeared quite dirty and overdue for cleaning. This gives a poor first impression and should be addressed immediately.

- Neil (9/5): - The pool was great for kids, the breakfast was tasty with plenty of choices. Extra points for the fresh European style loaves. The staff were very helpful, and went out of their way at breakfast time to bring coffee to my table. The rooms were also nice, but had a little wear and tear in places. The cost of drinks by the pool was too high. I don't mind paying more for poolside drinks but the price of a beer was 4 times more than what you would pay in the 7/11 across the road.

- Colin (6/5): Great location - The location of the hotel in Pattaya North is close to Terminal 21 and a lot of pubs and shops. Its a reasonably quiet area of Pattaya North Lack of service. The pool bar was closed and the pool area has very limited sunshine.

- Stephen (7/5): Christmas - new year stay at the Mercure - Really good location. Just minutes to walk to Terminal 21 or Big C supermarket on 2nd road, or to beach road. There’s also a 7/11 right outside the hotel on the corner of Holiday Inn. Our room was good, comfortable, clean and had a great shower. Our floor 12 balcony had a view over the hotel pool, and a great view of the beautiful Christmas tree outside Terminal 21. The room attendant on our floor (named Berlin)was great, did a great job cleaning the room, restocking consumables and making the bed. The hotel is obviously having a problem with one of the elevators, out of service a couple of times during our stay. They made the service elevator available but at peak times it could take a little while to get the lift. If you’re a swimming pool fan be warned the water was freezing. We were there over Christmas/ new year period so weather a bit cooler than summer months.

Never offered to help carry luggage or book a cab. Only 1 lift was working so had to wait long times when going in and out of hotel. Breakfast options were poor and not worth the money being charged. Room aircon want powerful, sink and shower kept getting flooded.
