• Denise (10/5): Worth the stay. - The beds were so very comfortable which I slept well. Very clean room, space, stocked up condiments, very convenient with a bistro downstairs which we enjoyed dinner there. Service was great. There was nothing I didn't like.

Good selection of streaming services on TV Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable bed pillows and linen When I first arrived there was urine on the toilet seat and streaked down the wall beside toilet. I stayed for 3 days, the room was cleaned each day but sheets weren't changed or remade and tea, sugar, milk, or water not replenished.

• Philip (8/5): Comfortable pub accommodation with some friendly features. - Traditional pub accommodation, with some extra features. Spacious room and modern bathroom, in room snacks, comfy bed. Friendly bar downstairs with typical pub fare. A Free drink too! No windows, and no lift.

• Pamela (5/5): We won’t be going back there! - The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked . There was no windows. The wheelchair access ramps were not wide enough to accommodate a motorized wheelchair. There was no disabled parking and very limited parking in general. The meal in the bistro was very ordinary for the price.

• Alec (8/5): Comfy, good value and yummy food. - The meals at the attached pub were very good and a good price. There was a decent bit of noise out in the streets during the night, people yelling and the like. But it wasn't too bad.

• Gary (6/5): One to consider, but get some comparisons first. - Location. Friendly responsive staff. Big, recently renovated room. Basic amenities. Parking. Welcome drink. Discount on food in bar downstairs. Price a little much for what was a basic room. Daily room housekeeping patchy: not done one day, bed not made on another, no milk or water on one day. These problems were fixed when asked. Back entrance door really noisy, banging when used and we were disturbed each day by late evening arrivals and early departures. Street front entry to hotel was littered with cigarette butts from pub patrons downstairs. Not nice.

• Chris (5/5): Passable but cleaning needs work - Central location, fairly quiet despite being a pub, modern interior (but the soulless aesthetic of a generic budget hotel chain) Cleanliness needs improvement. The toilet had dried 'fluid' around the bowl - I would guess that a previous guest vomited but all the 'splash' wasn't cleaned up. There was old dried soap residue on the sink and in the shower from the previous occupant. The shower glass would be transparent... if it were cleaned properly. It makes me nervous when it is very apparent that proper cleaning isn't happening...

• Helen (7/5): Not again - We had room 7, and the bonus of an open door to balcony and fresh air was welcome and delightful. Our service staff was superb....I think she was called Lillian... what an asset to this location. Our son was in room 22. He could not sleep for the overwhelming roar of the overhead location air conditioning rooftop unit. The beds were simply too soft. We should have checked with the location regarding this!

• Simon (8/5): Clean and comfortable place for a value for money stay. - The staff were friendly and the room was clean. We just needed a place to stay while we were travelling for our young family of 5 and the family room was optimal for what we needed. Everything was working. The room was missing a few things like water, and milk and a portacot, but they were quickly provided when we asked for it.
