- Thabo (8/5): 60% service - Despite the chilly weather of Kimberley our stay was delectable, however, the facility lacks communication means with the reception whien in your room. I found myself having to leave the room to the reception to ask for an iron when it would be easy to communicate via a telephone like in other hotels. Also, the room was not thorougly clean on the carpet when we returned to sleep for the second night.

The online booking through Hotels.com did not reserve a room whereas i paid the full price which got me worried when i checked-in and the receptionist could not locate my reservation/booking. The overall stay i was satisfied with and my room too.

- Michael (8/5): Good overnight stay in Kimberley - The lodge is situated a short distance by road from Kimberley's CBD. It has adequate facilities for a comfortable overnight stop or two and it right next door to the local casino complex.

- Andries (10/5): Great room to expensive - I love staying at the Road lodge in Kimberley. Great location and comfortable rooms and parking. They serve a great breakfast in the morning. Just wish they wanna make it more affordable to stay. They become to expensive to stay on a regular basis.
- Michael (8/5): Quiet lodge close to Kimberley - The lodge suited our needs as we needed accommodation that was air-conditioned and close to Kimberley. Staff were pleasant and assisted with the room choice of possibly having a view of the flamingoes in the neighbouring dam, Self-service breakfast was good on both days.

- Jeremiah (2/5): Recycled Sewage water smell ruined my stay. - The facility was not good, except the terrible sewage smell that keep me awake all night. I couldn't figure out were the smell came from. When I report at the reception, the next morning, I was told that due to lack of water supply they are recycling the sewage for irrigation. Also the toilet in room 126 the water was running in intervals non stop throughout the night.

- Dirk (8/5): Very convenient. But Air-con are ridiculous noisy. - We have been staying at the Kimberley Road lodge since 1995. It was always a convenient stay for us. During our last visit I just could not stand the ridiculous noisy air-cons anymore and we have decided not to stay here anymore until you upgrade your air-cons to quiet ones.

- Reynier (4/5): - We where very happy with the service at reception ,but the stay at the hotel was a nightmare ,we stayed in room 14 which is situated close to the entrance .........during the night we could not sleep due to constant noise ..loud talking and drunk people than came in and out of the hotel .....slamming of doors....drunk patrons in the parking area ,I got up twice during the night to check on my car ....no security insight .. etc. I must admit I will not stay there again ......what was suppose to be a romantic get away for me and the wife .......was a disaster ,I am only 3 weeks home every 10 weeks as I am working abroad ...so to me the time is precious I felt disappointed and cheated.

- Sibulele (6/5): Affordable and comfortable stay - I was on my way to pretoria from Cape Town ,slept over at this hotel .to my surprise it was neat and affordable .it is sutuated next to the casino,garage and highway to Gauteng which is perfect for my jour eyes. I would recommend it to Nyone who wants a sleepover in kimberely .
