- なみへい (10/5): - 冬季(年末年始)に利用。ホテルの隣にミニスーパーがあり、ビールなどの酒類、スナック、フルーツ、パンなど購入可で便利。町からは少し離れているが、スキー場までの無料バスが出ていて、スキー目的なら充分楽しめるホテル。目の前のガガーリン公園では、そり遊びが出来るので、チュービング用のそりをたたんで日本から持ち込むと良い。

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good quality hotel located conveniently and in a quiet area. There are several restaurants inside and a spa with sauna. Sauna was included in the price. Restaurant had gigantic Kmchatka crabs - yes, the price was quite high but it was time ever that I was full after eating a crab with my partner. Rooms are also good and overall experience, this feels like a brand hotel which is not frequently the case unfortunately in this part of the region.

- GALINA (6/5): Приемлемо - Поселили на 9 этаже: вид из окна понравился. На 10 этаже гуляла свадьба, в номере все было слышно, на следующий день свадьбы не было, но грохот периодически раздавался (то ли убирались, то ли ...) - не понравилось. Выключатели ламп находятся на электрическом проводе, провод от прикроватных ламп висит за тумбочкой, это неудобно, ночью нащюпать этот выключатель практически невозможно; чтобы погасить что-то , кроме прикроватной лампы, надо встать (нет выключателей у изголовья кроватей). Не понятно, почему в отеле берут плату вперед (при въезде, а не при выезде). Все остальное понравилось.

- Hiroaki (8/5): One of the best in sakhalin. - It's the one of the best hotel in sakhalin. The hotel is located northward of gagarlin's park,which is very nice. Rooms are well equipped and clean.The breakfast is also good. It would be better if the straffs could speak English.

Unfortunately, i have to leave a day earlier than planned and hotel wasn't willing to pay anything back for unused day. - Tatiana (8/5): - Просторные номера, удобная постель, вкусные завтраки (сырники и запеченая рыба задают хорошее настроение с утра), рядом большой городской парк. Звукоизоляция не очень хорошая в номерах. Неплохой Spa комплекс. Но впечатление испортила оказанная процедура (пилинг/скрабирование тела). Ободрали до крови. От отеля 4 * ждешь профессионализма во всем, а я теперь переживаю, что не проверила, разовая ли была перчатка, которой делили процедуру.

- Vitaliy (4/5): Разочарование - Очень ,очень плохие завтраки, невкусные и очень скудные, не куда негодный менеджмент, в номере воняло дымом из вентиляции, на кухне в апартаментах нет посуды и приборов. Считаю , что отель не соответствует 4 звёздам и цене . В этот отель больше не приедем.
- Andrei (10/5): Хорошо, но шумно. - Попали в период празднования Нового года (корпоративы) это ужас. Ни скрыться, ни спрятаться нигде: ресторан наверху, ресторан внизу и отовсюду грохочет музыка. Хорошо, что хотя бы в 12 вырубили все. В душе протекала лейка. Датчик движения в коридоре измучил просто: видимо, он был неисправен и щёлкал самопроизвольно всю ночь, включая свет. В целом хороший отель, есть Камера хранения для лыж, очень удобно. Хорошая сауна на 1 этаже. От горного воздуха - минут 10 на такси.

- Vladimir (10/5): Likely the best hotel in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - I stayed there for four nights during the business trip. Therefore, I can evaluate lodging and bathing facilities and breakfast. First, hotel is situated in a quiet place behind the city park. No any noise will disturb you at night. Bathroom is a little bit narrow (if you are really a large man) but appropriate for the most people of normal height and weight. Bed is large and comfortable. Just after arrival, too strong smelt of some cleaning product persisted in the room but it was easily removed by opening a window and airing. There are many Russian and few English TV channels. Breakfast was excellent by diversity and high quality of food. two bottles of complimentary water were provided daily. Iron and ironing desk are available upon request. There is no a convenience store in the nearest proximity. Therefore, if you will need something, you should go about 500 m to the nearest city block. Taxi cab from the hotel to the most places in downtown costs within 200 rubles.
- Y (8/5): Good hotel, questionable service - As the most expensive hotel in the island, the facility, cleanness, and breakfast were fine. However, the front desk staff's service were mixed. George and Manen there were very friendly and helpful. The two other ladies there, on the other hand, were treating customers very cold. They either did not answer our questions or answer them in an impolite way. Dealing with them made us feel we went back to formal USSR time.

- TAX (8/5): - 外見、内装、料理とも満足させて頂きましたが２点程気に入りませんでした。 1. あれだけ素晴らしいホテルですが客室にウォシュレットの設備が整っておらず残念でした（国の違いですが・・・・） 2. ５日間滞在した中で３日間ほどロシア時間で朝９時から違う客室ないから工事の音が響き起こされました、せめて午後から取り掛かって欲しいものです。
- Varvara (8/5): Great hotel with not-so-friendly employees - The room is very large, and I had everything I needed there. It was always clean and absolutely quiet. There is a lot of heavy food for breakfast, which will be good for a man. For a lady like me it was tough to find "halthy, diet" options on the buffet, but one can always order egg dishes separately (ommelete, scrambled eggs). The city is quite small so I guess one can say that the hotel is situated in the city centre. It was also very close to the ski resort "Gorniy Vozduh" which is a must-see while you are in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk! The only problem were employees - they never smiled at me, whenever I asked for something at the reception I felt like I am giving them a huge problem and they are not happy to speak to me at all. That felt very uncomfortable. But on a side note I have to say its really typical for Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (service people usually do not come across as friendly). I would choose this hotel agai when in YS.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like the Mega Palace Hotel and have stayed here several times while in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. It could do with a revamp though, as there are quite a few stains on the carpet and only a couple of the plug points work (which is frustrating). Light bulbs in two of the lamps had also blown and hadn't been replaced. Internet / Wi-fi comes and goes. However, in spite of a few irritations, the staff are helpful and the hotel's location is good, with a great view over the park to the mountains, while still being close to the centre (nothing is very far in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk). Breakfast is fine with a decent choice, and generally, my stay was pleasant and the room was comfortable. I will stay here again, as it is probably the best option in Yuzhno.
- JG (8/5): Recommendable overall. - Comfortable and clean. Quiet location overlooking a park but convenient for the rest of the city. Staff could be a little more welcoming. Breakfast offering was interesting - sometimes appeared to include previous day's dinner leftovers (e.g. pizza!).
- Mark (10/5): Отличное расположение - Расположение отеля - лучше не придумать! Можно сказать - прямо в парке! Воздух чист, шума города нет (машины за окном не в счет). Рядом все прелести любого отдыха: парк, озеро, зоопарк, масса кафе, спортивные объекты и просто лес и горы для пеших или вело прогулок. Сам отель лишен суеты и столпотворений. Атмосфера спокойствия и некоторого пафоса. При заселении без проволочек обменяли номер с видом на сопку на номер с видом на парк. Номер самодостаточен, даже ценник минибара удивил своей демократичностью! Ресторан уютен, как и его Терасса. Очень понравились блюда в фольге! Официанты вышколены, обслуживание выше всяких похвал - оставляя чаевые знаешь за что))) В итоге - хорощий отдых с отличным настроением! Рекомендую!
