Guest Reviews
- BrianV111 (10/5): Superb cabin and home away from home in Estes Park - Superb location of a lovely, well-equipped cabin with superb view and balcony. Wish we could have stayed a little longer, but hopefully we will be back in the near future as hiking in the nearby RMNP is wonderful. A slight sound from the heating system in the bedroom, but nothing that disturbed our sleep.
- Megan (10/5): -
- Vern (10/5): Nice getaway close to the park -
- Marcotte (10/5): Excellent property, close to RMNP and downtown. - Great Location within a beautiful setting Nothing
- Ellerman (9/5): - Great location
- Pascal Van Wallendael (10/5): Perfect location luxury chalet - Beautiful location, very nice chalet with mots of modern amenities Nothing
- larry (10/5): just didn't have enough time. - the peace and the quiet. the nearness to the mountain environment.
- Anita (10/5): Spectacular - Everything it was beautiful. Our first night there an elk came down out of the mountains and just sauntered around. What a sight. The facility was beyond compare. Staying on the river was just pure joy. I liked everything, The staff was so accommodating with suggestions and recommendations. Being 3 miles from the park entrance was a huge plus. The laundry facility was so convenient to use and they even provided detergent and fabric softener
- Olivia (10/5): -
- Katherine (7/5): Very cozy and comfortable. - It’s clean and comfortable. Very cozy and we love the fireplace and being right on the river. It’s a bit pricey, especially still being in the off season. Our unit could definitely use a new mattress and the toilets are child sized, it seems.
- Timothy (9/5): Relaxing Suites located beside a river surrounded by trees - The Woodlands on the river is as described, a small selectionf suites located in a river surrounded by trees. The area was quiet, the apartment clean and we'll maintained. The checked in and check out process was all digital and easy to use. Overall it was a very relaxing stay.
- Miller (7/5): -
- Austin (10/5): -
- thomas (10/5): Nice getaway weekend - Great location. Very clean and comfortable. Nicely equipped kitchen and wood burning fireplace.
- Angela (8/5): -
- Ray (8/5): Fall River out the patio makes it all perfect. - Location and scenery Couple of minor issues.
Light out over stove and slow drainage of BR sink.
Very minor.
- Robert (9/5): -
- Robin (8/5): - Nice condo type of room with combined small living and kitchen area which is separate from the bedroom. The living area is charming although it is showing signs of wear. We liked the location right next to Fall River and fairly close to one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain NP. This place is not walkable to Estes Park, but that did not matter to us. Also, there is very limited parking near the front of the building which means you may have to park up a small hill away from your unit if your unit is in the front. We would definitely stay here again.
- Terry (8/5): -
- Susan (10/5): I enjoyed the space, was quiet, and I felt safe since I was traveling alone. Staff very friendly and welcoming. She sugg - Quite, convenient to park and downtown Estes Nothing
- Janine (9/5): - Peaceful setting near RMNP entrance.
- Ritima (10/5): - Loved the cleanliness and the beautiful Fall river.
It's right on the road so isn't very quiet.
- Joshua (10/5): - Amazing location on a quiet river in the mountains. Condos were clean, well maintained, and functional.
- Craig (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay! We loved having the river right outside our place.
- Laurabeth Nardo (10/5): -
- Betty (10/5): Exceptional -
- Decoster (10/5): Very nice accommodations' on a much quieter side of Estes Park. - Our suite was very clean , the bed was comfortable, really liked the bathroom and we could walk out our front door and Fall River was right there. N/A
- Celia (8/5): - Beautiful location on the Fall River and very spacious. Would have given excellent but we are big coffee drinkers and the coffee maker was disgustingly dirty and cheap. Mind you there is no air conditioning either and we were there during a heat wave.
- James (10/5): - Beautiful setting, great location away from the busyness of “downtown”Estes Park, National,Park entrance is just 3 miles away on the same road, elk walking in the river. Very accommodating unit.
- Bijoy (10/5): - It was a magical place, we saw elk on the property. The river front was really nice to sit by and look out through the balcony. Overall was a great stay.
- Fanny (10/5): - The area was nice and quiet. Relaxing atmosphere.
- Neil (10/5): Lovely location and super comfortable - Great location and a home from home feel. A kettle would be a good addition for tea drinkers but this is just a nice to have.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (10/5): Perfect other than tv - We have stayed many times and love it!!! Nothing except tv could be easier to use
- Claudia (10/5): Wonderful - Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The staff were very warm, friendly, and always helpful. The room offered awesome views of the mountains, the bed was super comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Highly recommend for a relaxing and scenic getaway.
- Judith (9/5): Superb -

- Central (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (10/5): Great location. Highly recommend! - This was a perfect place to stay, it was clean, roomy and decorated nicely. There was even wood and starter next to the fireplace. We were close to downtown and the Rocky Mountain National Park. The Falls River runs directly in front of the condo and was relaxing. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

- Jeff (9/5): Great place, - Wonderful place along FallRiver, close to town but not loud. Place is somewhat old, but they keep it clean.
- Debra (10/5): It was a perfect family getaway - Location, great views, wildlife, clean, homey Hot tub was broken
- Mitchell (10/5): - Jonny, the owner/manager was extreamly helpful. The rest of the staff respectful. The rooms were clean, well apointed and had everything necessary for a wonderful stay. The location is incredible! The Fall River, surrounded by mountains, and a few miles from everything.
Highly recommend staying here, I would again.
- Doug (8/5): Very good -
- Carol (9/5): It was OK - Quite, close to park and downtown The cart to get our luggage and food supplies to our room. It was uphill to pull the cart to get to our car and downhill for the cart full of our luggage and kitchen supplies and was an issue to keep it under control. After staying there a while I see no reason we couldn't have unloaded by the walk to our room and used the cart to get supplies to our room.
I had called earlier about a crockpot in our kitchen and I was told no crockpot, but there was in the office and could be borrowed; on checking in I asked and wasn't given the option of using a crockpot. I had to buy one.
My husband is on a salt free diet and we don't eat out. Cooking is the only way it works for us.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (9/5): We would stay here again - Great location! Close to RMNP entrance and Estes park. Condo was very nice with balcony overlooking river The couch was very uncomfortable. Also pillows weren’t great.
- Amy (10/5): - This property is remarkable! Having a full kitchen and
Condo style unit was fantastic and convenient. The property was impeccably maintained. The property is not just near nature, it is IN nature. The river is part of the hotel. We loved this stay. It was easy to check in and check out. 2 miles outside of RMNP. Add in the hot tub and laundry and this place is a must stay near RMNP.
- Sharon (10/5): Peaceful - Comfy bed, super clean, easy checkin/out, peaceful. Really hot at night and couldn't figure out ac. Toilet seat side is broken. No grab bars by toilet. No railing to step onto to get to front door.
- Floyd (10/5): This was the most beautiful and comfortable place! Everything was clean and fresh! - We prepared our own breakfast in our own room. The location is absolutely perfect while visiting the National park.
S We loved it all!!!
- Arup (9/5): Superb -
- Tim (10/5): - Great location about 2 miles from RMNP. Was inbetween the park and Estes Park, so was quiet.
- Patricia (10/5): - Great location and view of Fall River. Close entrance to Rocky Mtn Park.
- William J (10/5): - Thje Woodlands on Fall river is where you want to stay on your next trip to Estes Park - the rooms are very clean and the staff will work to take care of all your needs - My wife and i have stayed at the Woodlands for over 20 years and it is the place we will always stay - It is just a beautiful setting on Fall River and it is always well maintained.
- Kay (10/5): It was fantastic. We’ll come back again. - It was awesome! Beautiful spot beside the river. Great location, short drive to Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain national Park. Everything was clean and up-to-date. We were very happy with our stay.
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cromwell (10/5): - Excellent Excellent.... greatest place to come and unwind, Re-find yourself and enjoy the King size bed.
- Susan (10/5): Great weekend getaway spot! - Great location right on the river and close to downtown Estes Park shopping and RMN Park. Nothing.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Location location location - Great location. Stream flowing right outside front door. Gorgeous surroundings and area. Nice accommodations and appropriate for style.
- Susan (10/5): - Very clean, cozy, and amazing views!
- Lisa (10/5): - Having the river right out our front door was amazing, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Room was nice and roomy and comfortable. Definitely would stay again!
- Kimberly (10/5): - It was a beautiful property. It was everything that was promised and more!
- Edwin (10/5): A peaceful and comfortable stay. - Place was very clean. Ample space for two. Close to town. Beautiful river just outside the unit. Staff was wonderful. Wood provided for the fireplace. There was a noise outside the wall of the unit that I could hear as I slept. Slight but noticeable. Not sure if it was others not connected to the Woodlands.
- Ray (10/5): - Beautiful views, very comfortable bedding, great hot tub on premises, fireplace, kitchen. Perfect for what we were looking for! Friendly, available staff. Easy online check-in and check-out.
- Enrique (8/5): - We loved our condo and the office staff was super-friendly! I wasn’t too crazy about the parking situation but other than that, this property was great! I would definitely stay here again!
- Tracy (10/5): - I don’t care for the parking options to the entrance of the rooms by the river. We love staying there, the creek and the privacy. Noisy for the construction on the room next to ours but that kind of thing has to be done. We will return to this place in the future!
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Henry (10/5): - great place to stay rooms are very nice roomy very clean staff friendly and help full would definatly stay there again
- Greg (10/5): - Would recommend staying here.
- Ayisha (8/5): Relaxing and beautiful - This was our 2nd time staying at Woodlands on Fall River and we truly enjoy being able to relax and feel like we are at home. Since we are not able to eat out due to diet restrictions it is great to have a full kitchen to be able to prepare meals I was not a fan of the bathtub being so high since I have knee issues and the toilet was very low to the ground, my husband felt that the directions to locate the cut wood was not very detailed and we were unable to locate it at night.
- Vimbiso (7/5): Good -
- Mihir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wieda (10/5): Exceptional -
- White (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denise (10/5): - Very beautiful location. Easy check in. Very modern and nicely decorated for the holidays.
- Susan (10/5): - We had an amazing time! We spent 2 nights after our wedding just to eacape. We slept to the sound of the river. Just beautiful.
- Alfonso (10/5): Perfect - This location, room, and services were amazing and was one of my top 5 places i stsyed in Colorado.. we'll be back. Perfect
- Christopher (10/5): We can’t wait to go back!! - Breathtakingly beautiful!!
Cozy suites with fireplace.
Kind people.
Clean, comfy beds.
We couldn’t have loved it more!
We’re already looking forward to going back.
