- Yuho (3/5): - during checkout around 8am on 5/18, one of your asian female reception staff displayed consistently rude and unprofessional behavior throughout the entire interaction. every question was met with a dismissive “yeahhh” in a condescending tone, as if guests were an inconvenience. she repeatedly widened her eyes at guests in an intimidating and disrespectful manner, making it clear she had no patience for basic questions. this was not a one-off moment but her consistent attitude from start to finish of the interaction. i want to bring this to the attention of management directly, as this level of service is unacceptable and does not reflect the standard a property like this should uphold. for reference, another asian female reception staff working on 5/16 and 5/17 was an absolute standout, warm, proactive, and genuinely helpful at every turn. the difference in professionalism was stark.

- 156angelinak (10/5): Great - I had a great stay, everything super easy to reach, I barely used a public transport, walked everywhere so easily. Hotel was super clean, they maintained it all day, room was clean, bed sheets very clean and fresh, bed was comfy and spacious as for one person. The guy , that was taking care of the breakfast room was very polite. And the award goes to the reception, thank you girls! You've been a good help, especially Gabriella. She was very attentive and a good support, always there if you need anything or a simple advice, made me feel like home.. This is how customer service should be. The only downside is noisy restaurants around , but they stop around 11pm and it becomes less noisy.
- Maria (10/5): Confortablemente y segura. - Definitivamente para que viaja solo es el hotel indicado, céntrico cerca de las avenidas principales y muy cerca de la parada del metro, limpio, cómodo, seguro, toda mi estancia , la fragancia que tienen en su recepción fue demasiado relajante sobre todo cuando es la primera vez que llegas a una ciudad ajena, con otro idioma. Me hicieron sentir bienvenidas . Su personal en general súper amables, horrados para con las pertenecía de uno. Agradecida con las chicas de la recepción Mariaca y Gabriela quienes siempre me recibieron con mucho cariño y respeto , súper atentas ellas son increíbles desde el principio me dieron mapa de l ciudad me guiaron y remendaron hacia donde ir.

Très bon petit déjeuner Situation géographique exceptionnelle, à 5mn à pied du Colisée, tout le centre historique peut ce faire à pied. Bus a proximité et métro à 15mn max . Beaucoup de resto autour. Quartier animé. Pas de télévision dans le chambre, pas de frigo, insonorisation déplorable, écouter les conversations téléphoniques ou autres de la chambre voisine ou entendre la personne vomir comme si elle était dans la même pièce n’est pas très agréable après une journée de marche et une envie de dormir tranquillement, quartier animé avec des restos juste devant l’hôtel donc un peu de bruit mais vers minuit ça devient très tranquille.
- matude (6/5): Very mediocre room quality and zero sound proofing, but great location and breakfast. - Location is amazing and breakfast was great. Staff is friendly and the entrance to the hotel looks grand, making you feel like a million bucks walking in. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. Unfortunately a complete negative experience and sad surprise when walking into the room. For the amount paid I can't say a single positive thing about the room I stayed in. The room was very small and the door let through every sound from the hallway. Even the light was shining through the gaps underneath the door. Basically zero sound proofing, you could hear every step of people passing by as if they were there in the room with you. Window was to the first floor of the atrium full of construction equipment, meaning the only way for privacy was to keep curtains covered at all times, adding to the impression of staying in a closet. Size I wouldn't mind by itself, but the room quality was poor and nothing like the photos on booking.com. Photos display modern Ikea-like furniture with colorful walls etc, in reality it's more like cheapest possible outdated 80s plywood furniture. For over 200 euros a night you get 1 recyclable plastic cup, not even real glasses. And they don't even replace that sad little cup on their own. The water bottles cost extra, with clear price tags visible like in some cheap motel. Every detail in the room leaves a clear impression that it was made in the absolute cheapest way possible to minimize the costs to the hotel. This is in great contrast to the breakfast which I'd actually describe as positively luxurious, I don't know how they're dropping the ball so much with the room I got or what they're thinking. Also be ready to find random black hairs on towels and in the bathroom.

Además, está en una plaza con varios restaurantes, iglesia y muy central. Es un poco costoso para la calidad de los cuartos, pero la ubicación vale la pena. Zona bem servida de restaurantes e cafés. Quarto simples, mas limpo e confortável. A cabine de duche é estreita, mas serve perfeitamente para uma pessoa de peso normal. Produtos de higiene de qualidade. Ambiente agradável na receção e espaços comuns. Barulho no exterior do edifício que dificulta o descanso noturno, assim como o mau isolamento entre os quartos que permite ouvir o despertador do quarto ao lado... Pedido de caução de 100 euros no momento do check-in (primeira vez que assisti a este tipo de pedido num hotel).

The location is absolutely top-notch in one of Romes liveliest neighborhood s. The hotel is within walking distance of the Cavour Metro Station and very close to the Colosseum, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. As soon as you step outside, you’re in a lively square that really comes to life from Friday to Sunday — the atmosphere is fantastic. That said, the central location does come with some noise, especially on busy nights. However, once the windows are closed, it’s manageable and shouldn’t be a dealbreaker. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the beds are very comfortable. The decor feels a bit old-school and slightly dated, but in a charming way that fits the overall Rome experience. Breakfast is genuinely good and worth including, especially considering how busy nearby places can get and the limited options for a proper, full breakfast in the area. Overall, a great choice if you value location, atmosphere, and comfort just be prepared for a bit of city noise. It made our trip Soo smooth and frictionless I wish we could get a room with 2 beds it would be so much better as this is not guaranteed and it's down to availability

There is not much that I didn't like, just 2 things : - Not enough hangers in the room for towel, clothes, etc. - The beds are not comfortable at all

Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe vom Kolosseum, ist aber ruhig gelegen abseits der Hauptstrasse auf einem pittoresquen Platz mit vielen netten Lokalen in der Umgebung. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mein Einzelzimmer war klein aber völlig ausreichend, mit schönem Bad und einem sehr bequemen Bett. Grosses Lob an die sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Damen am Empfang! Es war alles perfekt.

- Carolyn Elizabeth (10/5): SIMPLEMENTE 10/10 - Amé este hotel con locura. La ubicación es simplemente perfecta: está en pleno centro de todo. A solo 5 minutos caminando del Coliseo (¡desde la misma calle, frente a la fuente, ya se puede ver!) y a unos 15 minutos de la Fontana de Trevi. Además, las estaciones de metro están súper cerca, lo que hace todo aún más fácil. Para ser mi primer viaje sola, lo amé aún más, ya que me sentí muy cómoda y segura en todo momento. La limpieza es impecable, especialmente el baño (esto fue de mis partes favoritas). Además, limpiaban la habitación todos los días, lo cual se agradece muchísimo. El personal fue muy amable en todo momento, siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Y aunque el desayuno podría tener un poco más de variedad, era completo y suficiente para empezar bien el día. A pesar de que hay bares alrededor, las habitaciones son bastante tranquilas; al menos para mí, el ruido de los fines de semana no fue un problema. Si vuelvo a Roma, no lo pensaría dos veces para quedarme allí de nuevo. Algo que me hubiera gustado es que la habitación tuviera televisión, para poder distraerme un poco mientras descansaba, pero en general todo estuvo excelente.

Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec beaucoup de choix. La chambre est assez basique pour le prix. Nous avons notamment été déçus par la salle de bain qui était vieillissante avec une toute petite cabine de douche fermée par un rideau, ce n’était pas au niveau de nos attentes.

The location is excellent, very central, making it easy to explore the city, and even enjoying views of the Colosseum from the nearby square is truly special. The place was very clean and well maintained. The staff were all very kind and welcoming, but I would especially like to highlight Gabriela, she is truly the heart of the place. She is incredibly warm, attentive, and made all the difference in my experience. Thanks to her, I felt completely at home :)

Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby including in the piazza if you don't want to go far. Gabriella at reception was very friendly. Internet worked well. The breakfast was good with both hot and cold items.

- 222slavicak (10/5): Excellent location in Monti - I had a pleasant stay at Casa Santa Sofia. The location is very good, in the Monti area, and it is easy to explore Rome on foot. The area felt lively but also safe. The room was clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. Thank you to Kristina at reception for her help. I also appreciated the gluten-free breakfast options. It was very convenient that I could leave my luggage at the hotel after check-out. I would stay here again.

- 386heinb (8/5): Casa Santa Sofia a nice place to discover Rome. - We stayed a week in hotel Casa Santa Sofia. We enjoyed the excellent location in the cosy neighbourhood Monti. Station Termini is nearby as well as metrostation Cavour. The hotel has a stylish facade and lobby. Our room was sufficiently large and clean. The minibar was well equipped. If you don’t like the noise of nearby cafés and terraces just close the windows and you are fine! The team at the reception is fabulous. Gabriella has a personal touch and gives you allways a warm welcome. Marica knows what is best to do or what you should avoid. Khrystyna is a quiet worker and a keen observer. The breakfastroom is spacious with lots of choice at breakfast. Great coffeemachine. The rooftop whinebar (now being renovated) will be the cherry on top!

- Aurelie (5/5): L’emplacement est parfait , avec un bon accueil .Mais le prix est un peu élevé, sûrement associé au 3 - L’emplacement L’hôtel est construit de façon particulière : le rez-de-chaussée occupe toute la surface du bâtiment, mais à partir du premier étage la construction forme un carré creux au centre. Ma chambre était au premier étage, côté intérieur. Ma fenêtre donnait donc sur l’espace central entouré de murs. Sur ce palier extérieur se trouvaient les blocs de climatisation très bruyants. Même avec les fenêtres fermés , le bruit s’entendait. Comme toutes les chambres se font face autour de cet espace, je ne pouvais pas laisser les rideaux/volets ouverts sans être vu. La douche est très très petite avec un rideau. L’isolation phonique: on entend tout ce qu’il se passe au dessus: les chasses d’eau/la douche/les chaises/les portes/les appels et ceux des chambres sur le même palier également.
