• Dina (10/5): Fantastic! - Absolutely loved this place! The combination of a historical building fused with modern facilities made it gorgeous. The gentleman at the front desk was very passionate and very informative about everything you needed to know, including the surrounding towns. The ceramic tiles in the room and bathroom looked like wood, giving the room a very zen and spa feeling. The free buffet breakfast was also great, with a lovely lady making delicious coffee of your choice! I would definitely go back there!

However, of the nine properties we stayed at on this trip, all in the same price range, this room was the most cramped. Really tiny. The elevator was excruciatingly slow and small, but our room was at the top of four steep flights of stairs. Breakfast was skimpy, compared to the other properties.

My room was clean, quiet and comfortable and reasonably sized. Aircon worked nicely. The included continental breakfast was very simple but sufficient to start the day!

O banheiro e chuveiro eram bons. A sala do café da manhã era bem apertada. Localização boa. Estacionamento somente na rua, pago 1 euro/hora. Devido ao esquema de limpeza das ruas, é necessário trocar o carro de lugar a cada 2 dias.

Il parcheggio è tt a pagamento. A 700m c’è un silo gestito dall’azienda dei trasporti pubblici che con 10€, 25€ in estate, al giorno lasci l’auto.

Staff was decent to good, but main issue for us was the shower drain was so plugged it overflowed into the room and we had to mop up the flood. Told the desk when we went out for sightseeing and on return they said it was « fixed » but it appeared they only changed out the towels. Location was « ok » in terms of walkable but probably I would spend more and find a more upscale hotel.

• Michael (10/5): Amazing hotel! - It was amazing! We stayed for three nights in Trapani and are very glad we chose to stay here. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was accommodating/welcoming for the entirety of our stay. They even went out of their way to make our time there even better than anticipated. It was no surprise that when we tried to extend our stay, they were all booked up! 10/10 would recommend to friends who want to visit this city and need somewhere to stay.

• John (10/5): Good hotel but my room was to small for my visit - I had an overall good experience at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast was adequate and the hotel was located in walking distance to the center of the old town and its many services. My only issue was that I stayed for three nights in a single room with a twin bed. The bed was not the problem it was just a very compact space with not a lot of room to spread my things out or to relax. There was actually another issue with the room. It had a door that connected to another room and you could hear every sound in the other room when it was occupied. I needed to use my ear plugs. I would stay in this hotel again and would take a single room again but not for more than one night. If I were staying longer I would spend the extra money for a larger room.

They blamed Expedia but in fact it was just decision or the manager. On top of that, even with the room booked for one extra day, I was asked 3 times by the reception when I was going to leave. My best guess was that they needed to make more money with the same room. Breakfast was good. Location is good.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Well located hotel - The hotel is well located for exploringTrapani and getting to Enrice. It's in comfortable walking distance from the intercity bus stop and Avis car hire should you require a car rental service. The hotel has been recently renovated and provides good 3 star service and accommodation. My major criticisms is that the walls between rooms allow for noise transfer in particular between the bathrooms. This can be problematic when the next door guest speaks loudly or makes regular trips to their bathroom. Also I couldn't my notebook to the Wi-Fi but could connect my phone. This was a nuisance when wanting to do something using Wi-Fi that required a larger screen or a keypad.
• Jens Peter (10/5): Lille gemt hotel - Svært at finde (gade navn er stavet forkert på deres hjemmeside, så vores GPS kunne ikke finde gaden - godt skjult i en meget lille gade ... meget lille indgang... men nyt og flot og utrolig søde mennesker, der står på spring for at give en god service. Værelset var mindre men nyt og flot og vi savnede ikke plads, badeværelset næsten flottere. En klar anbefaling.

Rozmiar pokoju dwuosobowego niezbyt duży ale pokój bardzo komfortowy. Brak Parkingu w hotelu. Parking płatny przy ulicy obok hotelu. 100 metrów od hotelu znajdują się promy na pobliskie wyspy.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Hotel Trapani is modern and clean. - Great stay at Hotel Trapani. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast room was lovely and the food selection was very nice. The food included bread, meat, cheese, yogurt, olives, juice, fresh fruit and sweet pastries. A hotel employee took drink orders and made us cappuccinos. The room was very attractive and clean. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main pedestrian part of Trapani. You have to park about 500 feet from the hotel and feed the meter. You need to pay at a parking kiosk and put the ticket on your dashboard. You can stay parked in the same location as long as you continue to feed the meter and grab a new ticket. The air conditioning in the room worked well. We were in room 32 and faced away from the main street so there was very little noise. The worst part of the hotel was the very slow elevator.

The hotel is perfectly situated to all local sights, the boats to the islands, and busses to Erice (we actually walked there) and Segestra. The hotel staff was wonderful, the accommodations were perfect - modern, quiet, clean, great breakfast, great internet. Excellent all around. Highly recommended!
