Catherine (4/5): Décevant ! - L’hôtel,hormis la chambre et la vue sur le lac, ne correspondent pas du tout au photos sur les sites de réservation. Hôtel défraîchi sur tout l’extérieur, peu entretenu, abord de piscine pas entretenu. Cela ne mérite pas le 4* sur votre site de réservation. Le restaurant était fermé, heureusement qu’il y en a un à proximité (et très bon). Beaucoup d’avis mentionnent la même déception. Il faut mettre les vraies photos pour que l’on réserve en connaissant la réalité. C’est dommage.

Verified traveler (2/5): Quando una bella vista non basta - Esperienza negativa: Hotel che si proclama un quattro stelle superior ma totalmente da rivedere dal punto di vista della gestione, della cura degli spazi e molto altro ancora. Lo sconsiglio. Di bello ha la vista ma questo di certo non basta. (278 euro due notti). WIFI gratuito ovunque ma nella mia stanza non c'era. Spero che vogliano sistemare le tante cosine da rivedere perché è effettivamente una struttura con così tante potenzialità e non dovrebbe essere trattata in questo modo.

William (4/5): - I had a great massage. That’s probably the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. The desk clerk wasn’t too interested in checking us in because we had T-shirts and shorts on when there people walking around with jackets and ties on. They didn’t even bother describing the property to me, so we had no clue there was another set of mineral pools that were indoors until the spa folks told us. That was very discouraging and disappointing because we were spent a tremendous amount of time there, but unfortunately just stayed in the room. I felt extremely disrespected and will never go back there again. I apologize for not wearing a suit and tie however I’ve been in the car eight hours so it’s easier to travel shorts and a T-shirt on :-)
Michael (10/5): Nice lakeside hotel with a few minor issues - Located alongside a beautiful lake with nice sitting area in front of it to enjoy the view. Well maintained hotel with professional staff. My guestroom’s bedroom was up a flight of stairs, not an option for disabled or elderly guests. Lousy internet service. Restaurant was closed when I stayed there.

Rosemarie (10/5): Comfortable and met our needs. - We stayed as a stopover on a cross-Italy drive. The weather was not so good so our enjoyment of the exterior was limited. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The pillows could have been a little fluffier. A little strange that the shower had a window to the rest of the room, but when in Rome…. Heat controls were made at the desk we assume to cut costs, but it was a little strange as well. We wish some spa services were included which would have justified the cost for this off-season stay. The staff were excellent.
DAVIDE (8/5): Socofer - Hotel tranquillo fronte lago. Camera ordinata e silenziosa. Colazione non usufruita causa orario (8.00÷10.00). Non capisco il parcheggio fronte check in a pagamento. Per la spa, 65€ mi sembrano troppi.

LAURA (8/5): Incantevole - Abbiamo soggiornato in questa magnifica struttura in riva al lago ad Agosto purtroppo solo per pochi giorni. Luogo incantevole con servizi di qualità. Unica pecca sono le pulizie soprattutto negli spazi esterni (terrazzino in camera) e nella terrazza dove si mangia, dovrebbe esserci più attenzione. Camere spaziose è perfettamente arredate servizio in spiaggia eccellente. Tornerò sicuramente!
Verified traveler (2/5): - Siamo stati in questo hotel, che affaccia sul lago,dal 13 al 16 / 08. Una delle cose per cui mi è rimasto maggiormente impresso questo "hotel" è la puzza immonda che ci ha accompagnato durante il pernottamento ( assimilabile a quella di animale morto da qualche giorno) a causa di secchioni che non sono stati mai svuotati (a detta degli albergatori), quando sono andato a far presente il problema mi è stato risposto in modo sgarbato che loro non potevano farci nulla.Faccio presente che questa non è la prima volta che soggiorniamo e che già l'anno precedente ci avevano assicurato che avrebbero trovato una soluzione per la puzza. Stare in hotel con le finestre chiuse per colpa del aria irrespirabile, no è ciò che ci aspettavamo. Sono andato via, liberando una delle due stanze prenotate, avendolo segnalato mi aspettavo che la camera venisse pulita per farne usufruire i miei figli che soggiornavano li con me. Aspettative del tutto disattese, dopo le rimostranze fatte dai miei ragazzi, il titolare ha dichiarato che sarebbero stati scalati € 50, a titolo di "risarcimento" per cattivo servizio fornito. Il giorno dopo la direttrice ha affermato che non era possibile perché la parola del titolare (DATO DI FATTO) non conta nulla. Vi garantisco che sopravvivono solo per la posizione, ma questo non giustifica la scarsa attenzione che hanno verso i clienti. Scarsi sia nella gestione, che nei servizi, che nella pulizia. HOTEL DA UNA STELLA CADENTE.
Lorenzo (10/5): Beautiful lake view - We really enjoyed our stay here! Being originally from Ronciglione it was a small dream come true to stay in this place directly facing the lake of Vico, where I grew up. The highlights of this place are the breakfast and the comfort of the rooms. The breakfast is amazing on the terrace in the quite mornings, it was unfortunate that due to covid they couldn't provide a buffet but the staff always tried to make sure that everyone had everything they needed. The room was spectacular, very large and bright and with two tiny balconies on the lake. You could see that every detail was cured here. On downside is the internet connection, which was rather poor. Fortunately we didn't have to work at all during our stay (can be quite common these days!), otherwise this was going to be a problem and it would be a pity for such a beautiful location. They mentioned there was a problem with it, i hope they fixed it. For the rest, the staff was always very helpful, especially the handy-man in charge of the garden and maintenance of the structure. A bit too expensive the complimentary activities (spa, beach, ...). But overall worth it.
Verified traveler (8/5): - Una piacevole struttura adagiata sul bordo del lago di Vico. Molto buoni i servizi, un po' piccola la camera ed il bagno, con pochi appoggi per il necessaire e per appendere asciugamani e accappatoi. Molto bella e ben strutturata la SPA. Personale molto cordiale, preparato e ben disponibile alle varie richieste effettuate. Molto bella anche la spiaggia, ben curata, con servizio ombrelloni e la piscina, in un ambiente molto tranquillo. Un po' particolare la colazione, forse a causa delle procedure imposte a causa delle limitazioni Covid, ma comunque buona. Peccato la mancanza di un punto di ricarica per auto elettriche che avrebbe sicuramente attratto più il turismo ecosostenibile.
Itravelledtheworld (2/5): Nice location bad service - A group of (10 people) stayed for two nights as we had a wedding in nearby Sutri (20 min ride). The location is nice as it’s by a lake. Staff at the reception and generally throughout the hotel didn’t speak a WORD of English which made communication a real challenge. Luckily someone in our group spoke Italian. The air conditioning in all the rooms was not working and the receptionists kept telling us that a technicians were on their way but they never appeared till we left so presumably that was a lie. Returning to our room at 3pm, it was still not cleaned and they only cleaned it in the evening! Breakfast and coffee way below average but lunch from al la carte menu was good. Booking taxis through reception was almost a mission impossible. Very disappointing service and stay.

janp637 (2/5): Hotel - @€150/night. Overpriced & badly run. They live off the location but end Sept. Too expensive. Receptionist chaotic. Spa is tiny & offers no peace or quiet. Overrated. The Pool & Jacuzzi & waterfalls are so noisy-like sitting on a main road-noise increases with 4 people inside talking over the water made relaxing in spa impossible. Which defeated the object of the exercise. TV didn't work.No reception. AirCon set at 26*~left us gasping for air. Breakfast buffet with no bread or rolls. Just toast & sweet croissants. Jams , Yoghurts & Juices cheap & 3rd class. I'd have expected better quality judging by room rate. We wouldn't stay here again. Had far better stays at places at half the price. Great disappointment. Zero rating. They feed off the beautiful location.

TMcL67 (6/5): A bit of a let down - We stayed here as it was a stones throw from where we needed to be for our weekend. To be fair we didn't really use the facilities. The restaurant looked lovely with amazing views. Despite wanting a massage I never did get to see the spa. On arrival the lady who served us didn't speak much English (to be fair this is a very Italian area with predominantly Italian visitors) so I never managed to book anything. The bar service was very slow despite being quite. The room we had was in need of an update. The shower was extremely tired and the living area very sparse (as opposed to minimal) The only clothes storage was half height hanging space which unfortunately didn't work for my dresses. We had to lay clothes on a ledge in the sleeping area. The layout of the rooms was well done to ensure everyone had a sea view although as we were on the wrong side of the hotel ours was from the roof tops and only if you were standing. Finally house keeping were rather stingy with their refills. In fact we received no extra shower gels over our 3 night stay. Not really worth the money.

MadaAlbuquerque (2/5): TERRIBLE HOTEL!! NIGHTMARE! - When we arrived at the Hotel, a lady received us with a lot of confusion and dislike. At first, calling my husband by someone else's name. After we identified she asked for our passport which was with her and only at the end after we asked her to give us back, another mistake, no hotel takes the passport and she did not want to return, only in the end. She came to tell me that we had booked 2 standard suites, I tried to explain, telling her that we booked 1 junior suite, she insisting that there were 2 standard suites. When I took my cell phone and showed her the reservation voucher, she looked at me in amazement and said she was wrong, but that there were 2 junior suites. Again, tired from the road, trying to explain it, I try to say that we were married, so there was one room, not two. Then she took us to a floor and made us enter into a messy suite, when she realized she asked us to leave quickly. Then she led us to another room that the chambermaid opened and when we entered she ran out saying that she forgot the key.. When we finally got into the right room, what a surprise, after all the hassle: horrible accommodations, room with a terrible odor, hard bed, narrow mattress, but the smell was the worst, cold room, really could not afford to stay in those conditions. After some time we decided to leave and go to another place because that hotel, reception and posture does not match what we saw on the internet. As I made the reservation with a colleague who has agency we had already paid the 2 daily, now we are trying to reimburse without success. I hope this testimony is useful for anyone who is planning to go to this place. DON’T GO! It’s terrible in every single way!

383bridgetc (8/5): The Best Part of Ronciglione.... - Was Nausicaa at the reception of this fine hotel! She was warm, kind, caring, helpful, and gracious! What more could a guest ask?! The place is stunning, quiet, delicious food and drink on site, a spa that is too amazing for words.. It's a definite 4 star hotel, but Nausicaa made it extra special!
723debbieb (10/5): Wedding party for Jack and Laura's wedding - My husband and I were part of a large wedding party that took up a lot of the rooms I the hotel last weekend. We were all attending a wedding held in Villa Lina, 5 mins away in a car. We all had the most fantastic time, relaxing by the pool, eating and celebrating in style. The room we stayed in was a standard room at the front of the hotel. It was a little small, but comfy bed, crisp sheets fluffy towels and a great shower was all we really needed. The grooms mother and father that were in a suite at her top of the hotel were in a wonderful room, with a large terrace that overlooked the lake. The views were stunning. The food was of a high standard and enjoyed by all in our group. Breakfast was very nice and filling, the coffee was the best I've ever had☕️ What made this hotel stand out from any I have stayed in before was the lengths the staff went to to make sure the weekend went as smoothly as possible. On Sunday the staff organised themselves into a group of taxi drivers who ferried us all up to Villa Lina for the Pool Party held by the newlyweds Nothing was too much trouble and the whole team from the groundsmen to the manager deserve a medal each. donrushton (10/5): Totally enjoyed my stay - We booked this hotel for one night in July but we enjoyed our room and the hotel grounds so much we decided to stay an extra day. Our room was lovely. It was a mini suite with a bedroom and sitting area. The view was amazing. We also had dinner in their dinning room and were quite pleased with that as well. The staff and particularly the manager couldn't of been nicer or more accommodating. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Peggy Parker
PhoeniX186 (8/5): An enjoyable and quiet stay - Location: this hotel is located in a nice, quiet environment, and - depending on which room you have - gives an astonishing view over the lake. That being said, anything you want to do outside of the hotel immediately requires a car, because it's kilometres away from almost everything. There are no walking routes around the lake. The room: our room (suite 202) was nicely compartmentalised in a sleeping area, a salon, a wardrobe area and the bathroom. The latter had a huge round window to the bedroom. Quite fancy, but maybe slightly awkward for shy people that you can see the other showering from your bed. That window turned out to be a nuisance at night too, when you have to go to the bathroom and make light, which might wake the person still in bed. Especially since the light in the dressing area comes on automatically and can be seen from the bedroom. The bed was large and comfy, the room spaceous and clean. Food: the breakfast buffet was okay, but not extremely extensive. We did not have dinner there. Service: all staff was very friendly and courteous. Amenities: free wifi throughout the hotel. The spa was enjoyable, but the Turkish steam bath wasn't in operation though. Conclusion: a good place to stay with only a few _minor_ inconveniences.
JanetG224 (4/5): Not awful... Just not good - Stayed here 3 nights as a couple. To put this review in context the weather was awful and as such we did not really benefit from the lake, or the (small and plastic looking) outdoor pool. The hotel is about an hour from Rome, on the shore of a lake. We appeared to be the only guests. It is furnished in a manner remeniscent of French budget chains of the 1990s - if you ever had the misfortune to stay in a Formule1 or Fastotel during this era you know exactly what to expect. Our junior suite was a riot of faded lino floors and mismatched curtains, bizarrely split over 2 levels by a staircase that looked like it came out of an IKEA catalogue. Breakfast was an equally uninspiring affair - mediocre pastries, no hot selection, carve your own cold cuts. The one upside was the spa - which although tiny is very nice and overlooks the lake. The hotel does not really make the most of the lakefront - we tried to walk along it via the path out of the hotel, and had go turn back when met by overgrown weeds and used condom wrappers. The staff were friendly and helpful - but overall for the cost of this hotel (150 euros per night), and with the marketing as a luxury spa destination it should have been way better. It's poor quality likely reflects the lack of competition - whilst this hotel is deeply disappointing there is not really an obvious better option in the same price range in the hills around Rome.

374mikkels (10/5): Great, relaxing place - We were lucky to get room 201 - this has a 50+m2 private terracce overlooking the beautiful lake, with its own private jacuzzi. Defintely the best room! We had dinner served on the terrace, beautifylly prepared from the excellent restaurant downstairs. Very friendly and serviceminden staff, the stay felt more like being in a private villa with full staff than a traditional hotel. Ronciglione is a hidden gem - a beautiful city center with lots of interesting sites. Highly recomended!
David (10/5): Really excellent lakeside stay - Charming small hotel situated on the lake. We had a lake view suite which was large and elegantly furnished. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The spa is well designed and very clean. We ate dinner at the hotel which was excellent, on the terrace overlooking the lake. Very tranquil. All the staff were very helpful and charming; nothing was too much trouble. There is a large grassed area with sunbeds and umbrellas and a small swimming pool. The lake is wonderful to swim in. Access to the lake is a little tricky over rocks, but this is currently being addressed with sand being laid. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and we are looking forward to returning.
