Eyal Yoli (8/5): Great hotel - Great hotel, fantastic garden within the hotel, you can see the mountains, but I wouldn't say it's "mountain view". It's close to the center but outside of it, last part of the road is gravel and inclined. The room is nice but missing stuff safebox and the bed is small. All the paths in the hotel are stones, it's very hard to move luggage in and no one in the hotel helps. The taxi service from the hotel is cheap so use it!
Suzanne (10/5): - I had a cancellation for one night so had to find another place with 6 rooms in Urubamba. Amaru Valle popped up and I am so glad it did. It is a beautiful little oasis with everything we needed and wanted. We arrived late and they very graciously opened their kitchen and cooked us some wonderful food for dinner. The grounds are magical with many flowers and beautiful spots to just sit and reflect. Once there, Ana shared all the amazing activities they can arrange if (well, actually when) I return with another small group. I would definitely stay there again. We did not have time to explore the area around the hotel so cannot share my thoughts on restaurants or activities in the area.

gabriela (10/5): - I enjoyed this hotel. It wasnt to far from the plaza de armas. But i did like that it felt like you where out of the city. The room was clean and i enjoyed the environment. Staff was friendly. The food at the restaurant was good. Although ordering food was a bit confusing. Because you had to schedule your meal time and let them know in advance what you wanted to eat. I believe they did not have a lot of kitchen staff. For me it was fine because i was tired and didn't want to go out and eat at the end of the day.

Shelly (8/5): - The property is beautiful and peaceful, we wish we had more time to enjoy the setting. It is close walking distance of the town center and felt very safe. The room was clean, the bed was firm but not lopsided. The shower was hot but there was no hot water from the sink. The front desk helped us secure a taxi from town to Moray and then Ollantaytambo and were even willing to negotiate a better price to match what we were able to spend.
Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel consists of well laid out rooms - very cozy and comfortable - located on beautiful grounds with lovely gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We ate dinner at the hotel two nights - the food was delicious. We recommend the Criollo and Quinoa soups - we had them both nights. The chicken on the second night was very dry though. The hotel also arranged for a driver to take us around the Sacred Valley. Her name is Gloria. She is a great driver and very friendly. On our request she took us to 2 picanterias in the area (one near Chinchero and the other near Urubamba) to eat what the locals eat. Both were delicious. The only thing is that she is a little on the pricey side - she charges ~ 120 soles for a one-way trip from Urubamba to Cusco airport whereas the driver who brought us from Cusco to Urubamba charges only 90 soles. Still, we would recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.

The whole place is a sweet garden oasis. Highly recommend!
Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, the grounds are well manicured, lots of flowers and trees. The view of the mountains around the valley is wonderful from the balcony of the hotel room. The people that work the front desk are very nice, and most speak several languages--including English. One night we got back very late from our trip to Machu Picchu and my voice was raspy, the clerk at the front desk insisted I follow him to the kitchen, where he made me a pot of tea and carried it to my room for me. Super nice guy. One small piece of advice: if it is autumn or winter (in South America) while you're there, ask for a heater at the front desk when you check in. We did not and our first night there, we were miserably cold in our room. We requested a heater, and they gave us a portable space heater to use at night--it made a big difference. Another tip: From the hotel, walk straight down Jr. Grau to Plaza de Armas--find the lady that is making picarones out of a cart around the square--picarones are like doughnuts, with a honey glaze. She sells 3 picarones for 1 soles and they're the best we had while in Peru.

Bradley (8/5): Flowery respite with spacious rooms - On the outskirts of a busy city, but only a few blocks from the main plaza. A pleasant respite from busy streets and traffic, with many courtyards full of flowers and pleasing outdoor and indoor sitting areas. Rooms spacious and sunny, including the bathroom. Staff rapidly corrected a minor plumbing problem.
David (6/5): No hot water. - We stay there for one night on the way back from Machu Picchu . Room was clean, nice garden, but wifi was very week, and no hot water, only warm water in the cold night. No place to go in night time.

Michael (8/5): Great hotel in Urubamba - This was a beautiful hotel complex in Urubamba. The only short coming is that it's a pretty decent hike from the train or bus station to get there, probably about 15 or 20 minutes, but it's very quiet as a result of being a bit further away. The multiple courtyards on the grounds were all well kept and very beautiful. The breakfast was pretty standard and the staff were friendly and very helpful with recommending things to see and do in the area. Other than being off the beaten path (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) this was a great place to spend the night.
Ted (4/5): Almost good - Pros: quaint Keebler-Elf house architecture, good location, reliable hot water, clean facilities. Cons: No toilet seat (?!), weak/unreliable wifi, stale and meager breakfast, uncommunicative staff, rodents loudly scurrying through the walls at night.
