Guest Reviews
- Jean-Philippe (10/5): Outstandingly central, cosy, very big bedroom where a great breakfast is served at the time of your choice. A dream. - Very central All was perfect
- Hila (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was big clean and comfortable and the location was just wonderful! We hope to stay there again when we are next in Rome.
- Guido (10/5): Ottima esperienza camera ampia e pulita - Posizione gentilezza pulizia Nulla

- Diana (10/5): - Everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would stay here again!
- Deniz (10/5): - What can I say, the location is fantastic. The suite is well maintained and spacious. The staff are very friendly and willing to help at all times. They added to the positive experience with their professionalism. Only minutes away from so many iconic locations and there is dining all around you. Highly recommended and would stay there again without hesitation.
- Dawn (10/5): - This place is perfectly located in Rome. All the hot points of interest are all a short walk away. The space is spacious and comfortable. You really feel part of the city. Thank you for suck an enjoyable stay. ❤️
- Lee-Ann (10/5): - The room was spacious and clean. Vincent and Jessica were amazing and Vincent helped us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room late one night. Jessica was lovely and made sure we had our breakfast orders in. The cafe downstairs was amazing and very convenient. Also we got our Uber rides right on the corner. Easy walking to the Trevi Fountain and tge Spanish Steps. I highly recommend a stay here. Keep in mind you have to go up the steps to the second floor to get to your room.
- Alejandra (10/5): Lovely little stay - Coziest little stay ever!!! My husband and I went to Rome for our 10yr anniversary and it was spectacular. The place was cozy and quiet and in the perfect spot do food, shopping and historical sights. The staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience
- G P (10/5): When in Rome …. - Large well furnished suite right in the heart of Roma
Very welcoming and helpful staff
Thank you for an enjoyable short stay
- Volodymyr (10/5): - Clean room , friendly people who work in the hottel, very good place, I loved .
- Ashley (10/5): - Location is wonderful. The suites are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was lovely and very communicative. Would definitely stay here again :)
- Renata (8/5): - Maravilhoso hotel! Muito atenciosos, muito fácil o self check-in. Cama maravilhosa, chuveiro e amenities. Localização maravilhosa tb. Super recomendo.
- Bradley (10/5): - Great place, great location
- Sylvia (10/5): Family trip - Amazing! staff and owner were fabulous! We had a medical emergency which they assisted us from beginning to end. location is perfect, safe and fabulous!!! book now don’t hesitate!
- James (10/5): -
- Shahrukh (9/5): Loved our Rome stay - The location of this place was amazing. There were restaurants and shopping all around plus all the historical attractions were within a 15-25 min walking distance. We were a family of 5 and the suite design & decor was very nice and the room was huge. The bathroom was kind of small though. There was no elevator and the stairs leading up to the room were narrow. Bringing up luggage was difficult. Also when i asked the staff to that we needed more towels they told me that they don’t change towels every day. Which is disappointing to hear when you are paying €700/night. Non the less he did get me the towels.
- Dan (10/5): -
- Uyen (10/5): Fantastic B&B Apt in great location - This B&B is very centrally located and within walking distance of everything. Our room was great - cool, clean, spacious and comfy beds/ sofa beds! The staff were very nice, patient, accommodating and responsive, including the owner, Alessia, who was very involved in our well being and was very hospitable. The breakfast is free but not very good. Nonetheless, a very nice gesture as they bring it to our room daily! This is one of the better hotels/Apt we’ve ever stayed at and will recommend to anyone visiting Rome!
- Tiffany (10/5): - Teichnersuite is Rome’s hidden gem! It was perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of space and storage (we were in suite 3). The staff were delightful (especially Vincent) and super helpful. It’s located on a quiet and classy piazza, with high end shopping steps away. The location was perfect and we were able to walk to all the sites in Rome. It’s also across from the best gelato in town!
- Leanne (10/5): Just book it! Incredible stay - My family of 4 (3 year old and 7 months) stayed here. It was perfect. Location was great, Vincent and Alessia were incredible hosts and very responsive. They even went to get baby food for breakfast for the little one. Breakfast was delicious and on time. Jessica who brought the meals was very kind. If we find our way back to Rome, we will definitely stay here again.
- Niel (10/5): - This is the best stay in Rome. The service was top notch. Breakfast was served at your door with a preference of times and choices of food. The area is within walking distance to many of the main attractions and restaurants. I would come back to this one. The servers at the next door bar and restaurant were very friendly. Anyone who comes here will not be disappointed. Thank you Tiechnersuites!
- Steven (10/5): - Staff was terrific. No lobby and 16 steps up to my room.
- ERICA (10/5): - The best location for exploring Rome and the best staff I have experienced anywhere.
- Adriana (9/5): Lovely place for a couple of nights. - The location of these suites is fantastic. The windows were 100% soundproof, the beds and linens felt like a cloud, and the breakfast was delicious. Vincent welcomed us and was highly professional and kind. The stairs to access the suite are steep and somewhat narrow. It would be difficult for elderly people. The AC is on a bay window wall, and while it works great, we felt warm if we closed the curtains, so we had to sleep with the outside lights shining through.
- Sanja (10/5): - Location can't be beat. Excellent communication with very friendly staff. Breakfast is OK, maybe add some fresh fruits/yogurt but there is a grocery shop around the corner so not a big deal. Fantastic experience.
- anupama (10/5): Loved being central to everything - It was right in the middle of lots of stores and great restaurants. Walk to Trevi fountain was 7min. Free breakfast was an A+
- Verified traveler (6/5): Announce the stairs !!!! - It was a big surprise, that to get to the room one has to climb so many stairs. I would’ve appreciated, that somehow it would be notified , the amount of stairs to climb , each time you want to go to your suite .
- Samir (10/5): - Like the place very much ! Stayed with the family!
- Dominic (10/5): - Great spacious apartment in a great location, just steps away from all the action and many cafes right downstairs! We loved the space and the beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Rome.
- William (10/5): - Nice place.
- Anne (10/5): - We stayed at this property at the beginning and end of our trip. This is a perfect location to stay in Rome. The windows look out onto a charming square with plenty of activity. Great windows ensure the noise from outside is not a problem. Beds were very comfortable and in room breakfast service was lovely.
- Anne (10/5): - This is a perfect location to stay in Rome! Most of the historic sites are within easy walking distance. Our room was charming and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the freshly prepared breakfast provided in our room each morning was perfect. So glad we stayed here!
- Michele (8/5): - I’m reviewing this property as an older lady travelling alone
The property is advertised as having a kitchenette. It actually has a sink and a kettle. And a minibar fridge. This not what I would call a kitchenette. The staff did their absolute best to make things better but it was clearly unviable to what I thought I had booked
The room looks onto a busy square which was very noisy at night. Fortunately being there in February this finished by about 11pm. I would imagine it’s much noisier and later in summer months.
The stairs are steep but the staff assisted me.
The What’s App communication was excellent
The room was large and bright.
Not what I expected or indeed wanted but I still had a good experience.
- Uldana (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was super nice and friendly. The property was clean and location is amazing! Stairs are not comfortable for carrying the suitcases. The breakfast was not sufficient.
- Ian (10/5): Family trip - Fabulous little hotel in the very centre of Rome, close to everything. Very helpful with a late night check in. Would highly recommend.
- Christopher (10/5): - This property more than lived up to our expectations. We were in suite 1 for 3 nights. It was very comfortable, quaint and just what we wanted. Vincent could not have been more accommodating. He helpfully explained everything, recommended several restaurants and made the room available early. The breakfast was wonderful, served by a very friendly lady who could not have been nicer. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink was cute. The location is central to everything, with the colloseum and vatican being the furthest away (25min walk). everything else of note is on your doorstep, included lots of designer shops and of course lots of Gelaterias. The only negatives perhaps which is unavoidable, is the step staircase up from the street to the appartment. Entirely in keeping with this type of property in this location so just something to be aware of.
- Erna (9/5): We enjoyed our stay despite of the rain every day - The location is great . There are many stairs to get into the rooms and the entrance is very narrow so not recommended for guests with lot of luggage to carry up all the stairs.
- Bina (10/5): - There’s no other word to describe the hotel besides “perfect” Vincent was a gracious host who took care of our whole family throughout our stay in Rome. The location is impeccable with easy walks to the Spanish steps, Trevi, fountain, pantheon, and Piazza Navnna. The location is central to restaurants, shopping and incredible gelato. You should definitely stay here! Room was great for a family of four stairs are steep to get up to the suites so if mobility is an issue something to talk with the host about.
- Dhirendra Virendra (10/5): - The hotel is in prime location and very close to vista points. Amazing service and staff.
- Kim (10/5): Amazing stay! - Amazing stay, perfect location, lovely staff giving the personal touch, super friendly with great recommendations.
Breakfast served every morning in your suite was perfect.
Would definitely recommend!!
- Ci̇hangi̇r (10/5): Exceptional - different atmosphere, as if in an authentic Italian architectural setting. furniture and bathroom are truly impressive. history and modernity together. . Hospitallity of the staff, especially the manager Ms. Alesia, and the elegant breakfast presentation. walking distance of the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. It's also located on Via del Corso, Rome's most popular street."
- Michael (10/5): Leaving downtown. - Excellent position. You are in the heart of everything in Rome…
- Justin (10/5): - Cared for by the host as if we were visiting family, yet very professionally managed property. What more could you possibly ask for? Cannot recommend or review highly enough to express my gratitude.
- Steven (10/5): - Great location! Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Room was perfect!
- Francine (10/5): - Excellent location and service from the staff.
- Guy (10/5): Very nice - Great location, lovely flat
- Rajendra (10/5): Good location - Best location. Breakfast was good. The team of the property was very helpful and prompt.
- Rebekah (9/5): Excellent location, really nice place and super helpful staff - The central location was amazing There are a flight of stairs into the property, however it’s still doable unless you have a disability
- Candace (10/5): Outstanding hotel, location & service - I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, the location, the set up and most importantly the service!! If you are going to Rome this is the place you want to stay!! The restaurant was also amazing and the food delicious!! They treat you like family!!!
- Adriana (10/5): We loved our stay here. We would definitely stay again! There were multiple restaurants to choose from downstairs. Vince - I loved that the attention to detail. It was very appealing. It was modern but with a comforting touch. The steps are long and narrow. The walls/windows. We could hear people outside even with the windows closed and we heard others guests talking through the wall and closing the door late at night
- Lilian Alejandra (10/5): - Excellent all.
Don’t even looking anywhere else it’s a must stay in here !!! All is perfect.
- Naftali (9/5): We will be back again. - The hotel is a suites hotel with three very large rooms (40 square meters) on two levels. The location of the complex is in a sought-after tourist area (Spanish Steps) and adjacent to the famous shopping street, the best restaurants, and well-known tourist sites (minutes walk)
The rooms are cleaned daily and well maintained by efficient and welcoming staff who respond to every need and problem that arises.
The hotel has a good basic breakfast but extras are at an additional cost.
The staff Vincent and Jessica are worth mentioning, who were wonderful and helpful The hotel does not have an elevator and requires climbing one floor with luggage. Not suitable for everyone but assistance can be obtained in advance with the staff.
An upgrade of the in-room breakfast (scrambled egg, orange juice, fresh bread) can be a great change with minor expenses
- Sid (10/5): - Excellent property. They thought of everything. And staff was excellent.
- NATHAN (10/5): - My wife, daughter, and I stayed for Fall Break 2024. We can't say enough good things about the hotel, staff, service, and location.
The hotel is located on a piazza with four restaurants/cafes on the piazza. Great dining locations are all around, including Matricianella just around the corner. We walked everywhere, including the Vatican, the Collosseum, the Borghese Gallery, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain. We even walked back from Stadio Olimpico after a soccer match.
The staff were friendly, eager to please, and accomodating.
Although not mentioned in the listing on Expedia, the room included a complimentary continental breakfast which the staff brought to our room at our requested time every morning. This was a great perk!
Suite 3 was also HUGE by European hotel room standards. There was a queen bed and the hotel brought a temporary bed for our daughter. The bathroom was a tad small, but it worked. The hotel could use a little more closet space and some drawers.
We definitely recommend to any family for an extended stay and we will definitely stay here again when we return.
- Patricia (10/5): A magnificent stay - This was a beautiful property. The room was immaculate, very clean, the view was amazing. The restaurant right outside the property was awesome. Will definitely stay here again! One of my best friends will be traveling to Rome soon and I have already told her she must book here!
- Megan (10/5): - Teichnersuite is a small property with three units. The service was excellent and the staff was communicative via WhatsApp. The property was centrally located and great for shopping!
- JOANNA (8/5): - Good hotel
- Debra (6/5): - I must say checking into the hotel was a little shocking. There is no lobby, and you have to walk up some very steep stairs to get to check-in which is in a hallway. We arrived at the hotel before check-in and wanted to drop our bags. We had to leave them in the hallway next to other people's rooms. I'm very used to traditional hotels, this is not. However, after my shock of checking in and getting over the fact that there is no elevator, we enjoyed our stay very much. The location is great, and the staff is extremely attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and very large. I think they have the best croissants I have ever had.
- Crystal (10/5): Amazing time! Highly recommended. - We truly enjoyed our stay, the team was so hospitable, were available for all our questions, and the location could not be more perfect. We were right in the middle of all the activity, minutes from historical sites and amazing food, and had a phenomenal time. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was prompt and delicious. I look forward to getting to stay here again during my next trip to Rome!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Almost great - The facility is beautiful and well maintained; had problem with water not available for an hour due to plumbing issue.
Elevator not available if anyone has difficulty with carrying luggage upstairs; 25 steep steps to second floor.
- kayla (10/5): - Our stay at teichnersuite was perfect. We traveled with our family of 4 and stay 1 night there before going to Sorrento. The Lu were able to accommodate early check-in and were attentive the whole time. We will definitely be staying here again.
- Jeff (10/5): The room is large and sleeps 3-4 with no problem. And location can’t be beat. - The best possible location. We walked to everything. It was a 25 minute walk to to Vatican and the collisium, and 5-15 minutes to the Spanish steps, pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. It looked looked out onto a plaza were there were 3 good restaurants. The breakfast was average and you had to pay for fruit juice or any kind of fruit.
- Volodymyr (10/5): - Very good personal
- Verified traveler (10/5): ROME VISIT - The room was very clean and comfy for our family of four. good location in Center of Rome, walking distance to main attractions.
- Ashley (10/5): Excellent & great for the family! - This place is incredible! We loved it! We traveled with our two kids 11 & 13. The room was the perfect size for our family! The breakfast was very nice! The AC was cold and was a welcome to walk into after a very hot day of touring Rome! The location is centrally located and made it easy to walk to the tourist attractions. The staff were great and very helpful! I would recommend!
- Serpico (10/5): Great 3 night stay for our family! - Suites were spacious, breakfast was delicious, staff were a delight! Spacious, comfortable, very well kept up and clean.
- Arnold (8/5): - N/a
- Brian (9/5): Good centrally located family option - Great location and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable and the couches/daybeds were perfect for the kids. Nice breakfast spread
- Michael (8/5): - The property is wonderfully situated in a beautiful piazza with several good restaurants and Gelateria. The Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon are all less than a ten minute walk away. Despite being in a busy piazza, the room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The only downsides are that I missed having a better meat, cheese, and fruit spread that we have had at other Italian hotels, and the AC struggled to cool the entire room in the blistering July heat. To be fair, it was about 40 degrees C each day, and the room was mainly cool.
Our experience was great overall, and we appreciate the attention and courtesy of the staff.
- Ingrid (10/5): - Great hotel with a great location, traveling with my 3 boys, three was more than enough space in the room, we never felt on top of each other.
- Dena (10/5): We highly recommend these suites, you cannot beat the location or value, especially for families. - The location was perfect, the suites were very spacious. Upon arrival the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Vincent was exception as a property manager as well. The rooms were decorated nicely and very clean. The mattresses were the best we have found in Italy while traveling, plush, yet firm and comfortable large king beds. The towels are ok, could use replacing or washing in something that smells better. We also ran out of towels on the weekend and not replenished. Could have been an oversight of the weekend staff. The hot shower water was intermittent, but still for Italy standards, the shower was much better and larger than some other properties.
- Daniel (10/5): - Excellent place to stay. The suites are roomy and clean. The entrance is on a square with restaurants and shopping. Very safe.
- Paige (9/5): Superb -
- Cotu (10/5): Wish we had spent more than one night here - It felt historic and modern at the same time. Well appointed clean and the most comfortable mattress we slept on in Italy. Location was phenomenal. Nothing.
- Paul Eugene (10/5): - Prime location for a walkable Rome experience! Beautiful room with some built in privacy with single bed on upper level (~3 steps). Operable windows overlook a beautiful, clean, and vibrant square. Many fantastic dining options right at your feet and around the corner.
Very comfortable bed and the AC blows COLD!!
- Jaanika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rose (9/5): Location is very good and the room was comfortable and clean. - We liked the location and people working there are pleasant and helpful.
- Andrew (10/5): - Great service great location
- Michaela (10/5): - The area is very conveniently located to a bunch of shops and restaurants and is very walkable to main attractions and metro stations to get a bit further. The staff was amazing. My husband and I didn't have our luggage for the first day because it was lost on the way there and they helped coordinate with the airport luggage service to get it delivered to where we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here!
- Carlos (10/5): Great location with plenty of food options. - The location was outstanding. It’s near Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and the Colosseum is only a 20 minute walk. The piazza is nice with restaurants and high-end shopping. No issues, but it’s a busy piazza for those who don’t like too much hustle and bustle.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Centrally located, attentive service! - Our stay at Teichnersuite was great! Super convenient location to all the major walking points. We loved not having to take a taxi anywhere except the airport since you are in the heart of all the action. Very attentive communication - if you are a new or solo traveler or someone who needs constant checking on, this is a great option. Breakfast was lovely every morning and the staff went above and beyond to make your stay welcoming!
- Gustavo (4/5): Not good price vs benefit relation. - The size of the room is good compared with other hotels in the area. Also the area where is located is perfect. The room had a very bad oddor. Also the furniture is old, which even you can have an old fashion decoration, has to be in good condition and look comfortable, which is not the case. I cannot say that is that bad, but considering that I paid almost 450 Euros per night, I would expect something better in terms of attention and room comfort.
- GARY (10/5): - Great location and walkable to nearby attractions in central Rome. Took quick taxis to Coleseum, Vatican and Termini Station. Attentive and professional staff was onsite daily and responsive via Whatsapp when needed. Very spacious room, modern European decor with windows overlooking the Piazza. 5 star rating in every way!
- Adi (9/5): Amazing. - Great location , very clean and roomy Very steep Stairs
- Nathalie (10/5): - Great property in wonderful location.
- Giovanna (10/5): - Clean and comfortable accommodation close to all the main sights of Rome. A special thanks to Alessia for helping sort last minute transport to the airport-it was greatly appreciated.
