• Tom (6/5): Very basic but served it’s purpose - Very basic motel that has had some money spent internally in the rooms, beds were comfortable and it was reasonably clean The exterior of the accommodation needs a lot of work to match in interior as it looks very ordinary and old Not so pleasant people hanging around with people smoking everywhere even standing in the door way to their rooms. Very evident sign of pests with spiders and webs inside the room reflect poor pest control measures and cleanliness Food at the buffet inside the venue was average as well

• Nicole (10/5): - Very friendly checking staff. Clean tidy rooms and ease of checkin/out process. Restaurant on-site could monitor food in buffet a bit more closely as some of the chicken dishes were dried out.
• Ann (9/5): Great place to stay for ferry travel to or from Tasmania - Great for a late arrival after the ferry from Tasmania. Staff very helpful, easy check-in, the dining room was closing but we had an excellent meal from the bar. The room was very clean an comfortable. They don't offer a microwave (which we knew as it wasn't mentioned in their facilities list). It seemed to be possible to purchase a package cereal breakfast from the bar, but I do like a bowl of hot porridge! Everything else was excellent.

• Anne (9/5): We would be keen to stay again when travelling before or after the spirit of tasmania. - Close and easy to find location after arriving from Devonport on the Spirit of Tasmania at 7pm. Could have dinner and a drink. One of our meals from the bar wasn't to our liking.

Unfortunately the oil refinery nearby is quite loud and we were staying the night it decided to catch on fire. Very loud & scary.

• Sue (4/5): Uncomfortable chairs to sit in and the bathroom was cramped. I didn’t like the shower curtain. The shower was warm. - It was convenient from the ferry. It was very tired and the bathroom had a shower curtain and was cramped.

• Nadine (9/5): The Gateway rooms are great, its easy to get to. - The room was a good size, the bed was a great size and we left early so didn't have breakfast. We had our meals delivered from the restaurant, everything was great except the Chicken Parma. There was two meals on the menu that were not available but we wanted both of them which was unfortunate.

• Daniel (10/5): great spot would say again - room was great and the all you can eat buffet was exceptional. Would highly recommend staying its a shame that the left over food from the buffet has to be thrown away due to red tape. Such a waste of wonderful fresh food of all types
• Kris (8/5): great for catching the Spirit of Tasmania - Check in was easy and friendly with a leaflet with driving instructions to the ferry. The room is basic but comfortable and good value compared to others. The buffet dinner was fantastic, especially at Seniors rate. Parking is at the door and away from the highway. My only issue is the very high rain head shower which is no good for washing my hair.

Barest minimum of extras. . At $268 per night it is EXORBITANT. It is not a 4 or 5 star hotel. It’s just a tarted up motel in unattractive urban location. Smorgasbord was just pub food

I do not understand why it has such a big price per night. There were spiders and moles in the room, the room itself was dirty with spider webs and dust. Disappointing for the price

• Alison (8/5): A good stay at Nightcap, Corio. - The room and bathroom were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor is really good, interesting and colourful. The location is very quiet. It's good to be able to have dinner in the hotel. The windows are fixed so to get some fresh air we opened the back door on the safety chain.
