Guest Reviews
- Judy (7/5): -
- Gary (4/5): - Very old, rundown, needs a spruce up
- Sarina (3/5): disappointing overall - Bed was comfortable, and staff were friendly/professional. The room was cleaned daily, and well The bathroom was in quite a state of disrepair. The tiles in the shower were either broken or coming off the wall, the sink was severely cracked, and there was a lot of rust
There was no breakfast provided, despite the website saying there would be
- Jane (10/5): - Staff friendly
- Daniel (8/5): -
- LORNA FAIVA (10/5): - Home away from home every Easter break no miss No bathtub No biscuits No tissues very budget No chocolate drink like hot chocolate
- Ashleigh (5/5): Good from far - Location Meals and cold beer
- Karla (10/5): -
- Kay (9/5): We travelled from Mildura to see our local girls play basketball. - Central to where we had to travel Very noisy due to the trucks and emergency vehicles going past in the middle of the night. But it was on the main thoroughfare so I would think of rebooking if it needs to be
- Hazem (10/5): I recommend this place best service best food & best location - Location food view Nothing I loved it
- VICKI (4/5): Accommodation badly needs an upgrade. - Lovely friendy staff. Comfortable bed. Clean. Old motel in desperate need of upgrade. Parking area was small. No allotted parking spaces. Old wooden stairs to upstairs room. Noisy right on Sydney Rd.
No double glazed windows. No microwave or tissues or hairdryer. One vanity tap was very loose. No shower door, only a shower curtain. Cracks in vanity basin. No breakfast available. Access to motel when coming back east on Camp Rd was dangerous. No turn lane. Had to head for the city on freeway before I could get off at Melrose Street and turn back, many kilometres from the motel.
- JB (8/5): -
- Ariana (3/5): -
- Lyndal (4/5): - Overpriced for what it is
- Panka (2/5): - The photos didn’t match with what it was like in reality. The room and the bathroom smelled horrendous, and there were no openable windows, so we had to keep the door open for most of the time. Most of the furniture was heavily damaged. The wifi barely reached our room and kept disappearing. We would not recommend this place.
- Sally (8/5): -
- Khushwinder (9/5): -
- Michael (4/5): affordable friendly comfortable but very little sleep - the staff were great, room was clean location was good but bad the noise from the traffic was bad with cars hooning up and down the street, high revving their vehicle's till early hours of the morning, constant car horns going off and police sirens on and off during the night
- Ashini (6/5): The staff was great, but the noise was unbearable specially at night - Staff, they were very friendly and caring, the food was great Noise!!! It's located in a major intersection and close to a hospital, and the noise of the traffic was terrible at night, so I didn't get any sleep. the bathroom was very very small and old, the entrance was dirty with pigeon poo everywhere
- Hope (10/5): -
- Jules (3/5): Never Again - The inside was dirty, bits falling off the walls inside, the capert was filthy and I wouldn’t even have a shower it was horrible
- Gavin (8/5): -
- muldoon (1/5): -
- Jacqui (3/5): Will never stay there again - only went to catch up with a friend we haven’t seen for ages - The staff in the hotel were excellent very friendly and professional and the meals were value for money The ensuite was discussing - black mould in shower, vanity basin cracked and exterior peeling off
- Josh (10/5): Worth it - Easy to access, clean, well maintained, really nice staff Little bit of a walk from PT
- Frank (7/5): Es war in Ordnung. - Es war sauber und das Bett bequem. Keine Steckdosen am Bett, keine Lichtschaltung am Bett. Früh Straßenlärm von der Straße.
- mara (5/5): -
- Angela (9/5): Comfortable - The location Everything was ok
- Jairam (9/5): -
- Elizabeth (6/5): -
- geoffrry (10/5): Great - The help I got from your staff Nil
- Shanel (7/5): Good for the price - Good for price and cant complain. Accommodating staff The road noise is a bit loud when trying to sleep, that was the only bummer and slow internet.
- Luke (5/5): - Bed was comfortable, staff were great. Bedding was stained, bathroom desperately needs renovating. Location is very noisy with a major road right at the window.
- Salvatore (4/5): The staff were good the room was clean. The place is old and run down. A lot of road noise. - The staff were excellent and the food was good The road traffic noise
- Margo (9/5): -
- Fleur (4/5): Not great - Comfortable bed, good linen Overall too expensive, cold shower tap fell off and very noisy traffic which disturbed my sleep overnight
- Belinda (5/5): -
- Guest (8/5): - Good food friendly staff I thought it was a little bit expensive
- Frank Walker (9/5): - Management was great.
- Ido (6/5): -
- Kate (1/5): Worst accommodation I've ever stayed at - Air conditioning was lovely. Convenient location close to shops and restaurants. Booked 2 nights here after searching everywhere else (weeks in advance), and got desperate.
The bathroom was not only outdated but the shower curtain was actually mouldy and the grouting for the tiles was feral. The shower itself was difficult to regulate and wouldn't keep a consistent temperature.
The room had no reading/bedside lamps, so relaxing at night without a soft reading lamp was difficult.
Bed was hard and uncomfortable. And most annoying of all was the terrible noise from traffic. I barely slept the two nights we were there. I was actually really scared that the hoon drivers would come crashing through the window at 2am.
0/10 - do not recommend. Not worth the price at all. Will happily never return.
- Warner (2/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): - Very spacious room with great bed and facilities Nothing
- Chris (8/5): Easy - Friendly staff, tea and coffee facilities, clean bathroom Street noise
- variann (2/5): -
- LORNA FAIVA (6/5): - I only go here when I'm visiting bingo across the road and stay the night to go pokies and a few drinks an early Xmas present to myself win or don't win be happy with life. No microwave no toaster no bath tub but I'm fine
- Belinda (1/5): The only thing we liked about our three hour stay was going into the club for fresh air and cold drinks - It was close to shopping centre There was no opening windows, it had a mouldy smell, the bathroom had smudge marks on the mirror, the sink had toothpaste on the taps, around the bottom of the toilet had mould and the shower had hair in the drain and mould in the grouts. We paid for three nights but only stayed for three hours.
- Frieda (5/5): My stay stay at meadow in midweek. - The staff were friendly enough, the room was spacious and there was plenty of toiletries for shower. The carpet was mouldy, the shower was mouldy and the cold water tap fell off while the hot water didn't heat up for a.good 5mins. Also not enough towels were given for 2 people,,windows didn't open and there was no cutlery or plate or milk. No biscuits or water or anything except 3 packets of mini size pretzels and 3 coffee satchels 4 sugars and that's it.
- Joslyn (8/5): The stay was pleasant and the hotel matched our expectations. - The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We appreciated receiving a discount at the bistro because we were staying at the hotel. The staff were pleasant and ready to help. Bedside lamps would have been nice.
- Pam (8/5): Right place and time - The rooms were very clean, dated but clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was spotless. Location was perfect, right where we needed to be. The bathroom was dated but clean.
- NUR HASANAH (7/5): Good stay for money. Great location. - All good, room is bigger. Bathroom to needs to look into.
- Brodie (6/5): -
- Juliana (5/5): -
- Tserentzoulias (1/5): -
- Kath Hicks (4/5): Comfy bed but I won't be coming back - small rooms with old and below standard shower and furniture - Being close to the Meadow Inn was good - we had a great meal at the Bistro and the drinks were a reasonable price. The room was very old and although the bed was comfortable, the shower was poor and the room very small.
We complained that our heater was not working in room 5, so for our second night we were moved to room 14. We checked the heather and all looked ok, but then that heater stopped working. Again the shower was not great. The accommodation needs an upgrade to bring it up to a reasonable standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful and did what they could for us.
- Rosina (10/5): -
- Tolley (4/5): -
- Bryan (7/5): service from the staff was excellent and the food was great - room was great road noise was not great
- Danijela (10/5): -
- Rachael (7/5): Always great to stay here. I’m e dy Bally - Pub, pokies and bistro were easily accessed Bed was uncomfortable
- Theresa (5/5): - It was close to the venue for a wedding we were attending The temperature of the shower was cold and the heater didn’t work coz the battery was flat.
- Arabella (10/5): -
- Iga (10/5): - Excellent Everything
- Arabella (10/5): - Privacy None
- Karlene (8/5): Comfortable - The location was perfect fur the conference we are going to.
The beds was really comfy.
We didn't have to leave the facility to get some dinner I think their maintenance people need to lift their game.
The 1st room we had no bathroom light & 1 nit working in the main room.
The 2nd rooms cold water tap in the shower fell off in my hand.
- Arabella (10/5): - Clean warm room
- Kristy (5/5): -
- robyn (10/5): - Enjoy stayingnone None
- quianzon (8/5): Good location and good quality hotel with free parking - Good location. McDo, KFC, Krispy Kreme were all within a short distance. Staff was great. There wasn’t a freezer in the small ref in the room but the staff allowed us to put ice cream in the resto’s freezer. The restrooms need updating and the carpet didn’t seem to be super clean.
- andrew (3/5): -
- Jordan (6/5): Resonalble - The bistro was good and there's pokies they had clean sheets and towels and lots of spoke and shampoo and conditioner. Only thing is the hot water took so long to come through the shower and if someone flushed toilet the temperature would chance and also the shower wasn't clean but everything else was good
- Alan (7/5): - location bathroom delapidated.
- Kelvin (6/5): - the menu is in rapid decline..with stickers put over products stating out of stock.. on the last night of my stay 3 items of food were out of stock on the menu. very disappointing.. over the past 10 to 20 years i have stayed at this establishment... that was my last
- Kayla (10/5): -
- pedro (7/5): - Demasiado próximo da estrada.
- Peter (5/5): Very Noisy. Room was very basic a couch world of been good - Hot water Meal selection was poor
Some of the staff were very rude
- Panayoti Pete (8/5): -
- Kee (8/5): It was an ok stay - Location, proximity to food and shopping Dated, bathroom needs major upgrade
- Savage (3/5): Shit - That it was close to the shops that’s about it The aircon is broken I tried for 3 nights in a row to try get my room warm and it was f***n cold worse hotel I’ve stayed in yet, everything was falling apart not to mention it’s in a bad area so shouldn’t of expected it
- Sharyn (8/5): -
- Kenneth (8/5): -
- Tilak Bahadur (8/5): -
- Glenden (7/5): -
- Graham (4/5): - The location, right on a noisy intersection.
No breakfast
- Darrell (7/5): -
- Tuan (8/5): -
- cheedradevi (7/5): Comfortable - Comfortable bed. No breakfast. Quite and appropriate for business travellers who are looking for indoor activity and afford to pay for meal separately. Facilities. Location close to train station. Indoor activities.
- Theresa (7/5): Value for money was good, but I recommend taking earmuffs - We liked that it had a restaurant, sports bar, and a Pokie area. Shower pressure was great. The bedroom was clean and nice. And fresh towels everyday was nice. Staff were nice and friendly. The shower tiles at the bottom of the wall were about to fall off and the grout could do with a good clean. The mattress was too soft for our liking and the traffic on Thursday and Friday nights was really bad. kept us awake all night and we would’ve rather allocated parking for the room numbers.
- Eugene (5/5): It was just ok for a transit halt or 1 day halt between long haul flights. - The beds were comfortable. Heating was good. Bedding was clean and tidy. Location sucked, no easy way to commute without having to use a taxi everytime. Bathroom floor was really cold and the whole cubicle took some time to warm up whilst having a shower. Also with no free shuttle from the airport the price being low did not really compensate when you have to spend on taxi fares.
- Ian (8/5): -
- Williams (8/5): It was a good break - It was all close to everything
- Sarah (1/5): It needs to be renovated - Location Smelled bad
Bed was uncomfortable
- Leena (8/5): - It was clean but so noisy
- toni (8/5): -
- Sago (6/5): - Staff, bistro, and parking. Outdated rooms and bathroom.
- suzanne hudson (8/5): Surprisingly quiet room beside very busy roads - Helpful and pleasant staff, comfortable bed, all clean. Great bistro with nice food and good selection to choose from. As visitors from rural new zealand I think we didnt really have a clue where we were. On arrival in melbourne we stayed at Ciloms Airport motel (which we didnt like much) and asked Google to locate accommodation closer to Mernda/Doreen where family live. I dont think meadow inn was much closer but we are glad to have stayed anyway!
- Parwinder (3/5): - Nothing The room was not clean. The bathroom was old, unclean, and had personal belongings (underwears) left from the previous traveller.
- Masoodi (8/5): -
- matthew (9/5): loved it - location and everything else nil
- Nina (8/5): - Bed was uncomfortable
