Asking for credit card details on the day, not sending check in codes despite me confirming who to send them to twice. Had to ring twice to get check in codes then an additional code was sent the same evening.

Place is close to Hamilton dining on Beaumont Street, and many cafes nearby. Rooms and floor plan are very spacious. Very comfortable and have a home-feel even during travelling.

Much better than a hotel room , with a huge bedroom, electric lock up garage , all the utensils , crockery etc you need . It was clean except for some hairs in the bath tub. Location good and is very quiet.

The instructions as to what was expected of us as guests (eg washing dishes before leaving, putting garbage out) were clear and reasonable and the management were professional and helpful when I called with a query. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we were able to stay for longer!

Dealing with text and emails to give driving license and credit card details. Subject to all kinds of penalties if kids are noisy or need any call out. Credit card charges are not within industry norms so be aware.

Good size kitchen with quite new appliances. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay there. The only thing is that we requested for two single beds configuration for a room but the beds were made into one.

• pam (10/5): Lovely place to stay we had two young children - We had a lovely stay , the children loved loved sitting out on the deck reading books and doing puzzles . I loved the fact that there were plenty of cooking utensils and a dish washer . The units are very close to sports grounds and the beach is only 5 mins drive . To stay on the beach you are looking at heaps more money . We will be staying again real soon

We’d prebooked this double apartment for a very reasonable price and found great facilities, cleanliness and comfort. Even your own lock up garage with internal access! Would have loved to stay longer but we’ll be back. Best accomodation on our Canberra / Sydney trip.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable accommodation for Newcastle - A combination of space suitable for 4 people in comfort but with a tiny garage, looking like the builders were yet to complete. Kitchen items were basic and obvious cleaning omissions - lipstick on wine glasses, part of tampon packet on the floor in the massive walk in robe, and dirt on the top of tile ledge. All this without trying to do a white glove test takes the polish off impression that could have been made. CBD was 5 minutes drive.

Only issue we had, was a walking todler and the stairs, no baby gate, which we didn't expect there to be. Oh and the garage is a tight fit too. Also close distance to a strip of shops/food and very very close to race track too.
