L’acqua della piscina era estremamente sporca. Il ristorante non fa la cena ma è un servizio diverso dall’hotel, il personale del ristorante non è stato estremamente cortese. L’hotel è poco distante dal centro ma bisogna attraversare una strada in mezzo ad un cantiere.

• Deborah (10/5): Lovely place - Terrific place to stay. Could walk down to the beach through the forest, just watch out for the monkeys. A little out of the way, however the free taxi ride in a golf cart provided by the accommodation was always available.

Spectacular views There was nothing I didn’t like on the property, the first ever motel built there in 1989. There is sadly a massive amount of construction, tearing down the forest, making way for many motels. So there was a lot of noise

Son como 200 metros de un callejón con curvas extremas difícil para maniobra un auto. En el alojamiento tienen un carrito de golf que usan como shuttle para sacarte a la avenida pero estaba dañada la batería :(

Would be nice if the restaurant at the property - Property is just short walk to main surf break through a bush track. Nice pool, sea view and spacious room. Small property but very nice. Built 40 years ago and is mostly well maintained. It was great to have a water dispenser machine in the bedroom with cold and hot water. There was also a mini fridge which was helpful with some drinks and snacks. The water pressure in the shower was terrible, drips of water. No hot water. The monkeys are a little annoying after a while, can’t leave anything out or unattended.

The staff are great and our room was large and very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again as perfect location to get to beach surfing and exploring. Think if they had the option to include breakfast that would have been a massive bonus.

I did not like the fact that it was not advertised as a hostel online, otherwise I would not have booked this accommodation. No indoor restaurant. Very loud guests and noise in the evening from far away clubs. Staff sat around in reception on their phones not engaging with people. Was very disappointed and ended up leaving early, was not for me.

• Craig (7/5): - Location was good. Staff were lovely and friendly. Free shuttle into town was handy. Room service food was good. Pool was nice and big with enough relaxation areas for guests. Free water station in room a great idea. The cleaning lady couldn't be more friendly and sweet. The bathroom really stank like a urinal at times. It was not dirty... but there must be some issue with the plumbing. It rained and the bathroom ceiling leaked. I slipped and almost fell. Its a 10 minute walk to the beach. The walkway is slippery in the rain, unkempt, and not safe in wet weather.

• Dalton (10/5): The best place to stay in Uluwatu. The first hotel built here is a piece of history. - As Bali is being overrun with soul-less white boxes, places like this are rare gems. This is Bali. The architecture is incredible. The staff are so lovely. The location is phenomenal. The new managers are renovating and upscaling and layering in new services that are going to make it even better. I think this is the best place to stay in Uluwatu. What I don’t like is that I can’t live there.

• uygar (9/5): - Manzarası, havuzu, konumu ve özellikle çalışan kadrosu olağanüstü iyi bir yer… Maalesef adını hatırlayamadım ama gündüz resepsiyonisti çok içten ve yardımseverdi… Merkeze inmek için boogy servisini de çok içtenlikle verdi… Yan tarafınız yağmur ormanı ve aşağısı harika bir okyanus manzarası… Odalar çok geniş ve konforlu… Bahçe mobilyalarını bile çok sevdim… En temel problem tesiste içeçek veya yiyecek hiçbir şey servis edilmiyor… Otelin yeni işletmecilerinin hizmet sunmayı çok sevmediklerini gözlemledim, cool görünmeyi daha çok önemsiyorlar; çalışanlarsa tam aksi çok samimi ve yardım severdi… Tesisin girişi biraz problemli ilk girişte bulmak epey zor…

• Dalton (10/5): The most incredible mansion on the cliff of Uluwatu - I’ve stayed in so many hotels and villas around Bali over the years. The Uluwatu Estate is simply phenomenal. The first hotel built in Uluwatu does not disappoint. Spectacular views. Incredible location. The Balinese architecture. The staff. It’s all amazing. Much better than the white box villas that have taken over the countryside. There isn’t currently a restaurant onsite which means you have to leave for every meal. However the new owners are currently building a cafe, bar and lounge on the property and it will be open soon. Some people complain about the narrow access road. But there’s a free golf cart shuttle that’s on demand. So it’s not a problem.

De normal debería de haber 2 … aunque sea externo pero a parte del del personal.. tuve una urgencia y casi me lo hago encima … y en tema de distribución demasiado la habitación, era espaciosa a lo alto pero realmente le faltaban más muebles para dejar las pertenencias porque había solo una estantería para 6 personas.. además de poco espacio en ellas… los precios demasiado altos … también hay que decir que la piscina no estaba disponible … un muy mal punto

• Stephen (8/5): The property changed hands earlier this year and there just seems to be a bit of confusion evident. - The resort is lovely, big rooms and huge bathroom. Pool was nicely maintained and easy to get to. They offer a golf buggy transfer into town, which we used a number of times. The resort is isolated, and had no restaurant currently, so you have to go out for every meal. Gojek and grab drivers refused to come up the long steep driveway. Even if you hired a scooter you’d want to be a confident rider to tackle it yourself. We had arranged a pickup to travel onward at 9am and were told the golf buggy was not available between 8-10am I.e breakfast and checkout time?
• Madeline (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend - The door into the room are flimsy and in no way secure. The curtains are very light so don’t block out the light or fully cover the windows. The path down to the beach is quite steep to a few small shops and restaurants. The sunloungers around the pool are outdated and uncomfortable. The shuttle service into town is hit and miss as sometimes the golf cart isn’t there or nobody to drive it and the road to walk in is a narrow road through a building site so the town isn’t as accessible as it looks. Also got eaten alive by mosquitos while I slept after spending two weeks in Bali and was only bitten once before I stayed. Booked two nights, only stayed one.

• Lena (8/5): Besonders schöne Hotelanlage mit super Lage - Lage mit Blick aufs Meer und sehr schöne Hotelanlage im besonderen Stil. Sehr freundliches Personal mit kostenlose Angeboten wie dem Shuttleservice in den Ort oder umliegende Restaurants zu jeder Zeit. Wäscheservice hat super funktioniert. Leider gab es keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit im Hotel, da es sich gerade im Umbau befindet. Die hoteleigene Treppe zum Suluban Strand war zwar praktisch, um Zeit zu sparen, allerdings sehr zugewachsen und nicht so gut in Stand gehalten. Die Fenster sind sehr dünn, sodass Außengeräusche wie Bauarbeiten, Musik etc. im Zimmer sehr laut zu hören waren.
• Angelika (5/5): The hotel looks tired and definitely needs attention and renovation. Location is lovely but there is a construction goin - Nice view to the ocean from pool area. The staff were nice and helpful. We booked the room with two single beds and we got three bank beds instead. It took all the room space and looked like a hostel or warehouse not the hotel. The shower wasn’t functional, the handles were felling off the drawers. It was difficult even to open and lock the doors. Curtains don’t give you a privacy, you can’t simply close them and the light comes through.

You can watch the waves right from the hotel, and there are stairs that lead straight down to the Uluwatu cliff — absolutely beautiful spot, and the staff are very friendly.” Beautiful place with great potential. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some renovation, and the stairs to the cliff could be better maintained — the bushes have overgrown, making it a bit tricky to walk down. Still, not a major issue.

Their Bar is the place to be at nighttime! The bands are amazingly talented and the service is exceptional. Access to the beach and Single Fin club, behind the hotel by a steep stairway through a little “jungle” area. 15 minute walk from main road to the main strip. I loved every bit of it. Just to be wary it is a very narrow and steep entrance to the hotel from the main road that cars may find challenging. They have a golf cart to take you to and from the main entrance on the main road. Also, the address is incorrect on booking.com (which I have notified management). It is Puri Uluwatu Villas, Suluban.

• Ifigenia Papamichail (10/5): - Η τοποθεσία πολύ βολική. Και το αυτοκίνητο του γκολφ που διαθετει δωρεαν το ξενοδοχείο βοηθάει στις μετακινήσεις . Μαιμουδακια φιλικα κάθε μερα στο μπαλκονι. Ομως δεν έχει πρωινό αλλα στην παραλια μπροστά έχει πολλά εστιατόρια όπως και στην κεντρική αγορά. Είχε πολύ έντονη μουσική μέχρι αργά απο το γειτονικό beach bar. Έπρεπε να είχε πρωινό σε αυτή την τιμή. Δύσκολη πρόσβαση στο ξενοδοχείο.
