Candy (10/5): The best place to stay when in Plett. - We were offered an early check in which was welcomed after a long road trip. Easy to check in and enter the estate. River Club Villas is the best place to stay, close to two beaches, and neary shopping centre. it iis super safe and has loads of amentieis - great for kids BUT also very peaceful and quiet. The unit is comfortably furnished and has all amenities we needed. This is our second stay there and cant wait to return.

Rothwell (8/5): - The location of the apartment in Plettenberg Bay was good with easy access to town, shops and beaches. The apartment was comfortable with a good main bedroom. The lounge was comfortable with access to a very nice balcony. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, cooker and crockery. We have never seen so many towels available for use. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. It is quite a task to transfer luggage and shopping from the car park to the apartment. There was no dishwasher and the washing machine was temperamental and quite difficult to use. There was no one to greet on arrival or on departure.

Ulama (9/5): Excellent stay! - We had a pleasant stay from start to end. The apartment is spacious and clean and the complex itself is kept really clean and well maintained. We will definitely visit again.
Laura (9/5): Superb - Convenient location. Friendly and helpful security staff. There was not much space to store food. The top of the fridge and top of the kitchen cupboard would have been useful spaces to store our food but had sticky dirt on them. Otherwise the flat was clean though.

Sarah (7/5): Comfortable for a short stay - Well located for Central beach and a short drive to the Main Street of Plettenberg. Apartment within a complex. Nice pool area. Tennis courts but no rackets or option to rent them so can’t actually play tennis unless taking own rackets which was a shame as this was a feature that attracted us. Apartment a bit dated and ‘sterile’ unlike some of the other more characterful places we stayed at on the garden route but comfortable enough for a short stay.

The cleaning staff were very unprofessional and their cleaning skills were poor. The villa had alot of broken appliances. The outside stairs were always full of sand and leaves
Harvey (1/5): An insult to expect people to pay you for your dilapidated unit!!! - It was located in River Club Villas which is a lovely compound and location. We arrived to a unit that was dirty, dated, grubby and with several things broken and tatty! An utter disgrace to think that people should accept such shoddy service and especially considering what we made. Everything was cheap and old and worn out. The braai was filthy, the lamp in the living room had a cord left on the floor with open live wires exposed (so dangerous), a broken toilet seat, tiny “bath” tiles, grubby cutlery - one knife I used was so rusted I cut into a tomato and the whole thing broke into two. I could go on and on. The fridge had water in all the time so our veggies kept getting ruined, old oven and stove that took ages to warm, even the frying pan handle was loose. We made the most of it and had a wonderful holiday anyway but the unit itself is a disgrace and in dire need of a renovation.

Bring that it’s an upper level condo it’s got gorgeous sunny ☀️ patio views with beautiful laid out and comfortable rooms , kitchen that has all you need and 2 bathrooms to make for a wonderful holiday . Kate overseas this property and she was truly exceptionally attentive and capable to all our requests or needs . We had a wonderfully relaxed and happy stay here . Thanks Kate !

Bradley (9/5): A great break from life's stress - Beautiful unit, clean, well priced and great location. No heaters in the rooms, ceiling fans had a lot of dust build up and the shower has no door. The shower was obviously designed for someone with disability (which I think is extremely considerate) except there is no door or screen to it. When in use the water goes all over the bathroom floor which is hazardous and a bit of a mission to clean up.

Mabel (10/5): Home away from home. - The Riverview Villas are comfortable, thoughtfully designed and equipped and feel like home away from home. We even made friends with our neighbour's cat! We will make a turn there when we visit Plett again. Thank you to the hosts for making us feel at home. We couldn't fault this accommodation. It was perfect!

The response I got after I complained about a musty smell and the apartment being too small for my family of 5, which I was told direct quote, "Guest claims issues which do not exist and have not been complained about previously. Guest is welcome to vacate." With no refund. The size issue was one couches for only 3 people, 2 other people had to sit on the floor, no dining table as per photos. The apartment shouldn't be sold for more than 3 people putting in beds for 5 does not mean it's ideal. Riverclub villas are nice but the particular apartment we got was not ideal. We later on went to discover the smell was from mould after it affected myself and eldest daughter who ended up opting to sleep in the lounge with doors open. I took photos incase the issues are claimed not to exist. Also apartment has no noise proof as we could hear the neighbor from downstairs snoring.
