Guest Reviews
- Jen (10/5): - This property is unique because of the design. We walked into literal beach sand in our room! Amazing. ✨ we are loving the mood it’s sets for Tahiti though. Absolutely beachy and romantic.
We do wish all of our lights were working, and a couple ceiling tiles needed to be pushed back up but it is overall just wonderfully put together. Whoever owns this put so much love and thought into each room.
- Jennifer (10/5): - Breakfast was better than expected. Super comfy bed and very clean
- cory (10/5): - We loved the setup of the room. It was cute and quaint. We stayed in the Paris room and the decorations gave a sense of small little village hominess. It was a perfect atmosphere for what we needed. The only reson that we didn't give a full set of stars for eveything is that the mini fridge had a slight whine to it that lasted all night, but we didn't feel it an emergency situation to report it. Everything else was excellent!
- Janni (8/5): - Fun cute theme in the room. Surprised by the fun sand and shells on the floor at the door. Bed was very squeaky. I did not dare move all night because of how loud the bed was. There is not privacy with the toilet, but some couples might be use to that. The place was very clean.
- Aimee (8/5): - This place would be a solid Airbnb, but it’s marketed as a bed and breakfast and the breakfast part is just alright. Food was stale, and not fresh. Not any variety either
- Verified traveler (8/5): 4 starts - It was great! They brought us a warm breakfast and had constant available food in the lobby. Four stars because the desk lady when we first got there was stocking stuff and didn’t acknowledge we were there… would have been fine if she’d said “be with you in a moment” and finished up but she just kind of ignored us at first. Also it’s in a weird spot and doesn’t feel like a B&B - the ceiling you could tell were like old warehouse type ceilings. Would have been more immersive if that was fixed. Stayed in the Rome room though and it was comfortable and on theme.
- Amanda (10/5): Beautiful and Worth It! - The room was beautiful and comfortable. It was a little too warm most of the night and no way to adjust the temperature in the room, but that was the only issue. Order the hot breakfast; it was delicious!
- Erinne (10/5): Weekend getaway - Needed a quick getaway this weekend as a couple and found this adorable place! We stayed in the Maui room and it was so charming and comfortable. Felt like staying at a resort! Highly recommend 💕
- Alyssa (8/5): Fun atmosphere - It was super fun! I loved the atmosphere but wish we got to control the temperature. Also the breakfast was not what you’d expect for a “bed and breakfast”. It was just prepackaged food available 24/7. Other than that, it was fun!
- Mary (10/5): Enjoy!!! - Amazing bath inside the room with Cancun feel
- Peggy (4/5): - Our room was freezing and then burning up. You had to call a staff member on the phone to adjust your temperature. We couldn’t get hot water in the faucet in the shower. There were a lot of drywall and unfinished painted patches on the wall when booking this bed and pee looks like it’s in a large nice building. It is actually in the back connected to a strip mall, the window the window in our room was a large parking light that shined through the window all night long even with blackout curtains. Your breakfast was a self-serve if you wanted it with a bunch of stuff in a fridge the room was clean in the fridge in the room made horrible noise all night , we did stay for two nights but almost did not come back the second night but since we paid and there is no refunds according to them, we stayed another night.
- Kristofer (10/5): Very Cool and Unique - Really enjoyed this unique themed rooms. Had to stay again the next night in a different themed room. They are like little dens nice and quiet. I got great sleep both nights I stayed there
- Amanda (10/5): - Such a darling place to stay!!! We will be back!
- Jose (10/5): - We love our stay there
- Lynn (10/5): - It was very fancy. We were in the ROME room.
- Heather (4/5): - It was not what I was expecting. The sink was clogged. The room we stayed in the “Maui” room was cold and the heat had to be controlled remotely. The tub in the pictures had cool LEDs but they were no longer working. The room had romantic lighting but at the breakfast nook there was no light so that we could eat are breakfast. We had to turn on the lights on are phones on to have enough light to eat. I have to say the breakfast was nice, and it was nice that you got to pick the delivery time. It was okay in general but they need to fix things in my mind if they want to justify people paying as much as we did to stay there.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our stay was wonderful! We have come here 3 years in a row, and stayed in 3 different rooms. This year we stayed in the Maui room and it was our favorite! There is so much attention to detail. Service is amazing, I liked the breakfast even better than in the two previous years. The room is romantic and comfortable and has everything we could think of. Only thing I would note is the bathroom floors looked a little less nice, they leave a lot of original flooring to give it its themed look but this results in some not pretty patches of floor showing. Didn’t take away too much from the experience and we will stay here again! Highly recommend
- Porter (8/5): - I loved my stay here. Really romantic getaway for our wedding night. Only complaint was we were in the Rome room and there was a street light on in the window well which made it difficult to fall asleep. Other than that, incredible experience.
- James (6/5): Just Ok. - Too hot. No AC adjustment. Yes I called. Couldn’t figure out TV or ceiling fan.
- Chloee (10/5): - Loved the check in and food was so yummy
- Morgan (10/5): - we loved that they let us check in whenever! all we had to do was enter our code to get into our room and it was very private and cozy. they also put out snacks which was great for us who just got done at our reception. 10/10 for newly weds on their wedding night!
- Mylee (10/5): - We had an awesome time at the the 5th East Hall B&B! The Rome Suite was so cute, clean, and the contact-less check-in and check-out was super convenient!
- Elaina (10/5): - The lady at the front desk was very friendly and welcomed us every time we walked in!
The room was amazing!! It looked incredible and was very clean !
Right next to the bed and breakfast are some restaurant options such as McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Starbucks, and Coldstone! All walkable!
Definitely wanna come back!
- Whitney (10/5): - it was super cute and such a fun place to stay the night of our wedding!
- JACOB (10/5): - Such a fun place!! We absolutely loved staying here! The room was so fun and the amenities provided were perfect!! We definitely are planning to come back and stay in the differently themed rooms!
- Felisha (8/5): - Not having control of the AC was annoying but it was fine. It was a great short getaway.
- Jason (10/5): Romantic Getaway - Me and my wife have come here a lot and it has been nice and quite and just a great getaway! We have really loved it!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Couples Anniversary trip! - We staying in the Tahiti room.Great stay overall! Place needs some maintenance but overall it was super nice. Our room was super hot for us when we first arrived and we couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature so we texted the number they give you and she has to set them temperature from an app on a phone. It was a nice little romantic stay for us. Great little breakfast! Thank you!
- Alan (4/5): - Someone put a lot of work into making an artistic statement in the Tablo room, however, the functionality was lacking. The sand also was difficult to deal with in my opinion, as well as a little features like no soap dish, no towel rack, etc. and the biggest deficiency was no thermostat.
- Kevin (10/5): - We attended a wedding for a good friend of mine. We needed a place to stay that was close by. The price was very affordable in comparison to other places we’ve been to. We really like the access code lock doors. That made us feel very safe. That way we know that only other people who have booked a room can get into the property. That is a huge plus for this specific location. I would definitely book again if we are in the area or recommend it to anyone looking in this area.
- George (10/5): Great B&B - The room was very clean and well appointed, and the provided hot breakfast was excellent. The check-in and check-out process was contact free and we didn't see or hear any staff/guests during our stay.
The host reached out via text to greet us and provide check-in instructions, then we ordered our breakfast via text as well. Breakfast arrived the next morning on silver platters via a knock at the door, and at precisely the requested time. Even though I opened the door 0.2 seconds after the knock to collect the trays, there was nobody in sight down the hall, as if it was delivered by culinary ninjas.
- Rebecca (4/5): - The room was fun, but not if you want any kind of privacy. Literally the only door is the one you come in; no bathroom door, no shower door, no bedroom door. If you like dark, you'll love that there are no windows! Hope you like to pay for a king bed and get a full size instead. Oh, and you'll love this place if you don't like quaint and cute. You are literally in the basement of a store! There is a reason they only show you a picture of the front door. Aside from that, the room was cute, but don't plan on a shower, there is no faucet. Want to eat in your room? You better be super skinny as the area where the table and chairs are might fit a regular recliner, but that's it. How they think a table, two chairs and people would fit I haven't a clue. You don't even walk in to a welcoming front area. It is a desk with computer and a chair for the client. Then to the left is the continental breakfast bar. We didn't stay for the waffle breakfast (which was likely from a box mix) because we were already disappointed we didn't want the cherry on top. You can stay here and have a great time, but it was far from what I expected (told we were getting a king bed and it definitely was not! We have a queen at home and there is more room on that than this bed. I think the TV they have in the room is bigger than the bed! Not like a king bed could even fit in the space even if they squeezed it in it would be going up the walls). I don't like giving reviews at all, but I was very disappointed.
- Jason (10/5): Awesme stay! - 5th East Hall has always been Awesome for me and my wife. We have really enhoyed it and will defenitly go back!
- Kaydee (10/5): - Loved our stay:)
- Ben (10/5): - All good. Kind of a funny location. However, once in the room you dont even care
- Jayson (6/5): Tub disappointments - Stayed here previously after my wedding, the wife and I decided to come back for our first anniversary. We got a room with a jetted tub this time, and that was the first amenity we used after checking in.
While filling, hot water ran out so we had to put a pause on that for a few minutes. After we were able to fill the tub, the jets only worked for about 5 minutes before cutting out completely. We were unable to start them up again.
For being on the upper end of rooms at this location, not the experience we were looking for.
- Michelle (10/5): - I consider this to have been a lucky find! We had the Rome room, and it is lovely and cute. I wished I brought my fleece socks because it is a bit chilly, but then discovered a space heater by the mini fridge. This was worth traveling down from salt lake county.
- Lauren (10/5): - We loved this place! Our second time dating here and we will be back!
Only thing is google maps has 2 locations and sent us to the wrong one at first, so it’s the one in AF not Lehi
- Clinton (6/5): Just ok - Couldn't control the air conditioner or heater from inside the room. We had too call to have someone adjust it.
No one there when we checked in wasn't sure what room was ours. The bathroom didnt have a door just a partition.
- Brien (10/5): Love it! I’ll be back! - I loved this small, private location. They had breakfast out for whenever you wanted it, while offering to cook a delicious breakfast if you wanted. I wasn’t able to stay for the cooked breakfast.
The double shower only had one shower head working, but since I was alone, it didn’t cause any trouble. The outside entry was a little tricky, but I liked that I didn’t need a card or have to wait for someone to sign me in to get to my room.
The room was beautifully decorated and gave a secluded feeling.
- Sandra (10/5): Our stay in the Rome suite. - Wonderful place to stay. Little confusing finding it. They need to make sure to let people know what suite you have ahead of time. We figured it out. Very neat experience. Breakfast delivered to our room was awesome.
- dawn (8/5): Couples retreat - Great getaway for a couple. Room was very comfortable but needed a deep clean. Shower was the highlight! Not really comfortable with the night security. Doors were open/unlocked most of the night.
- Gordon (10/5): - Had really great service here. The room was spacious comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.
- Lynda (6/5): - The bathroom is open to the room. Absolutely no privacy. The temp of the room was set to freezing and you couldn’t adjust it. Cold is fine at night but we couldn’t stand to stay in it in the daytime. The bed was comfortable. Would be ok for one night stay but not multiple nights. Also no ice available.
- Bryan (10/5): - We stayed in a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. We didn’t have a lot of time and this was the perfect way to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We also loved the hot breakfast!
- Catheye (10/5): Roman Suite - This was our 2nd stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a beautiful place tucked in a very busy area that makes you feel far away from it all. Highly recommend.. The Roman Suite is simply amazing.
- Ellen (6/5): - I think before 4:30pm there should has staff to help me check in. After that, I need to use my access code to enter the building and the room. I am lucky. When I arrive there around 3 pm, a lady is leaving and going to get in her car. She found that we can not get into the building, so she stay and help us. If we arrive there after the lady gone, I don't know how to get help. I think that the access code is the confirmation number, but it isn't. I am happy because the lady is so helpful. But I am unhappy because according to the information I got, there should be staff working there up to 4:30pm.
- Braxton (10/5): - My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the Tahiti room. It was clean and nice, only complaint is the fish tank, it was not well kept and almost no fish.
- Hailey (8/5): - The room we stayed in was absolutely adorable and the food was delicious!! This was a wonderful and fun place to stay. The hotel is in a kind of strange location, a basement in a shopping center, but everything inside makes up for it. The biggest problem was that we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the showers. Either we were dumb and the showers were super complex, or the water wasn’t working. But it was a wonderful stay and a wonderful trip, we loved it there!
- Marion (10/5): - Everything overall was amazing! The only sort of oops was there were candy wrappers in the corners by the bed,so we wondered if the floors had been swept and towels were left on hooks. We weren't sure if they were clean or not so we just used others. The breakfast was fabulous!! We loved that there were snacks left out and CD's if we wanted. IT was our 43rd wedding anniversary and we wanted a quick getaway. This was close to home and perfect! we are recommending it to family and friends!
- Erin (10/5): Will stay again. - So clean, quite, and comfortable! Room smelled awesome!
- Mitchell (10/5): - Wonderful for a honeymoon inn or just a romantic in-town stay. Would recommend.
- Anthony (10/5): - The Cancun Suite furnishings were top notch. My only non-stellar comment is that I was expecting a actual gas fireplace instead of a figurative one.
- Anne (8/5): - We stayed in the “Rome” room which was fantastic! It was comfortable and well appointed. Shower was cool! It was hard to use the adorable, but small sink without getting wet. For a B&B it was odd not having people on site and disappointing to not have a traditional hot breakfast without having to order ahead. Was a good stay overall.
- Bruce (2/5): Looks good, but no thank you! - shower didn’t work; they didn’t fix it. 3-day stay; no cleaning. No windows. No front person to talk to. No electric plug for cell phones. No bath towel hungers. Display room really good with fake plants which are all dusty.
- Ann (10/5): - Beautiful room with nice amenities. Unique and breakfast was served in our room.
- Fallon (10/5): - Nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are done nicely with fun themes. Easy in and out:)
- Kyler (10/5): - Excellent! We love this property
- Gavin (6/5): Fine for the price - The neighborhood surrounding the location was a little run down, but the facility was nice. I did notice some minor repair issues but I’m a little OCD on those things so I would say overall the repair was good. My biggest issues were that the bed was uncomfortable and there was no in room thermostat. The first night was like an oven but we were able to contact them and it was turned down making it much more comfortable (winter stay btw). Also, the tv was small and there was no closet or anything for clothing storage. Breakfast was great, although the room didn’t have a good table to eat on nor did the lobby. But, a small end table worked. The last thing was that I never saw staff the entire time. We let ourselves in via key code. For me that is a plus but others may find that a turn off. Also, the only trash receptacle was in the bathroom, and since we were there 2 days it filled up and no daily house keeping was done (due to post Covid) so that created a small issue. Overall, it was fine for the price. Probably would advise to avoid this place for a honeymoon if you can.
- Kristy (8/5): Would go again, just not the Maui Suite - We have stayed twice now at 5th ave. Once in the Cancun suite and this time in the Maui suite.
Sadly I wish we would of booked a different suite then the Maui Suite. The bed fits so tight in the room you barely have room to get onto the bed from the side without hitting your backside on the rough wall. Another very big issue is the toilet is opened to the room and you only have this stand alone screen to put in front of the toilet to give you any sort of privacy. Which doesn’t really work since you can hear everything unless you have the shower running. That was one nice feature along with the jetted tube was the waterfall shower that was noisy enough that we just turned the shower on while going to the bathroom. But still a little uncomfortable when you have to go to the bathroom and need your privacy.
Overall I really like this establishment and would go back again.
I just know I would not book the Maui suite. I would stay in the Cancun suite again or try another one of their suites.
They make your stay very intimate like your the only ones there and provide a really good breakfast in the morning.
- Kevin Dee (10/5): - There are 5 themed rooms attached to this wedding venue establishment. My husband and I loved the Paris room we chose. The room itself has a couple chairs, televisions with blu ray player, a beautiful queen sized bed, a giant 6 headed shower, and dual sub vanity. You use a code to get into the actual building and into your room. There’s no formal check in or check out process (you most likely won’t ever interact with a person during your stay) which I thought was cool. Outside the doors to the rooms are free 24 hour snacks and beverages. While we were there they set out things like yogurt, cheese, bagels, granola bars, milk, juice, coffees, microwave popcorn, etc. If you need more toiletries or towels they also have a large supply for you to grab. This was a perfect little getaway for us,
- Elizabeth (6/5): - CRISP white and black entrance decor: very clean and well-staged coffee, video, microwave, and continental breakfast area. Easy in, but no live person appeared until 11am check-out the next morning. (I had called/emailed a message three days prior, but received no response.) Breakfast was nice, but having all beverages outside the room around the corner was a bit inconvenient. We would recommend a more complete information folder inside the room.
Five rooms are available: we stayed in Tahiti. Lovely decor, sand/flagstone to the HUGE tub (not jetted; a hand-shower attachment) which was a bit of a challenge getting in/out for shorter people; in-floor fish tank looked cool, but had few visible fish. Some things--such as the toilet--should be enclosed, and not just partially hidden by bamboo two feet from the bed.
Two other rooms were open for cleaning when we left, so I peeked in. The Cancun did have an enclosed toilet; the Rome shower is HUGE, and the toilet is at least tucked away instead of next to the bed (as in Tahiti). Both of these rooms felt roomier.
I will visit again--I would recommend MUCH BETTER PHOTOS than the basic tub picture next to each room description on the 5theasthall home page.
- Naomi (8/5): - Overall it was fun, comfortable, and enchanting. The service was great and food was good.
I wasn't prepared for the sand, but it really gave the feel of coming off the beach into a grass hut. The room didn't get as warm as I had hoped, but it wasn't cold. The salt lamps and floor aquarium are a nice touch.
I'm excited to come back and try more of the rooms here!
- Keline (10/5): Cancun, we’ll be back! 😉 - It was a great place to get away at a very affordable price. The room was clean and have a nice bed. The tub was really nice. But the best part of the room was the hammock. The breakfast was tasty. Overall it’s was an amazing experience, and my husband loved it. This place makes you feel like you are somewhere else for sure.
- Suzan (10/5): Suzie - We had an amazing stay at the B&B. Great reception and easy check in and out. Fabulous hot breakfast. Room was very unique and comfortable. The Roman bathroom sink was a little messy but a pretty addition. Great assortment of free snacks. Fun place to stay
- David (10/5): - We liked that the rooms had themes. The breakfast was great and they brought it to our room. We had a great time and felt safe and private. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be going back.
- April (8/5): Wish Hotels.com was updated on this place - Beautiful room.
The facility is on the back side of a shopping strip, which made it difficult to find. The room names in the Hotels.com booking don't match the room names from the facility, which made late checking in and locating our room difficult. We were literally keying in numbers to each room until it worked, which was a creepy, uncomfortable thing to do. The room descriptions in Hotels.com don't fully show/describe the room so I wasn't sure of what all was in or came with the room. The Hotels.com site needs to be updated to reflect the actual facility.
There is only 1 door to the room, no windows, which is concerning if there was a fire with the 1 door blocked.
The hot breakfast was wonderful.
- Shauna (4/5): - Not your typical B & B. Located in a commercial building, hosting weddings, etc. A surprise!! VERY difficult to find.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth the price - Bathroom did not have a door
Floors dirty
No air conditioner
Jetted tub not comfortable
Bed was comfortable
Theme was cool
NOT WORTH THE PRICE
- Eric (8/5): - Greet stay only thing I’d say is the shower head to tue Cancun suite in tue tub didn’t seems to work and the hot water handle fell off but it wasn’t a big deal and was a great room
- Nichole (10/5): - This bed and breakfast was so nice! The breakfast was amazing!!!
- William (8/5): - Fun place to stay. Love the different themes in each room. Room was a little cold, we couldn't get the air conditioning to adjust to the right temperature but overall we had a lot of fun. Breakfast was delicious!!
- Catalina (10/5): - excellent property to have an amazing relaxing time
- Heather (10/5): Cancun Suite is the best!! - It was incredible and we loved the design of the Cancun suite. It felt like we were really in Cancun! Thank you for creating that wonderful experience for us!! It was an amazing time
- David (10/5): - Had the most wonderful stay with my Girlfriend!! Loved the room, she loved it as well!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - *Paris Room*
The shower jets don't work and they are falling apart, the right shower head took 10 minutes to get barely hot water, the fountain in the front doesn't work and looks like a construction site, the hand towel rack is coming off the wall, there's power strips with cords everywhere and not actual wall outlets and we could hear banging around and chairs being dragged across a floor. In my opinion it's not worth the money that we paid and it's just cheaply done.
- Jon S (6/5): Beautiful bedroom, impractical bathroom. - The room was gorgeous, with a round bed, candles in the faux fireplace, and had a romantic decor. The shower was very unique a spa-like with multiple shower heads. Breakfast was delivered to our door and was delicious. The host accommodated a menu change for us. The bathroom space, however was very impractical. It needs improved lighting, better mirror placement, a privacy door, and shelf / counter space. The bedroom area had limited electrical outlets. Also the B&B was tucked away on the back side of a strip shopping center, making it a bit hard to locate.
- Jonette (10/5): - Beautiful room. Gracious people and surroundings.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like everything about this property.
