- Melissa (8/5): - We always stay at the Holiday Inn when we come to Globe I want to start off by saying that I love Amy who works at the desk she has always been very helpful and very friendly she is an absolute ray of sunshine she goes above and beyond to make sure that our stay is perfect if we have any issues she is on top of it she does the work of a million people. This being said we have never had any issues and have always had a very good stay but this time upon check in we went to the room we were first given only to find it dirty (unmade beds dirty towels trash full tv still on etc) so Amy immediately gave us a new room after apologizing she did what she needed to do but the second room key did not work it flashed red and green and door wouldn’t open after trying a few time I went back down and again Amy apologized and we got into a room Anyway the last couple of times We have stayed I have been noticing people hanging out by side doors people I have watched walking to the hotel and then we have seen employees at the hotel bringing these people in the side doors (side doors are opened by room key cards fir safety) this happens early evening time or night then they are seen later with the same employees in the hotel as if they have a room and seeing them leave the next morning through a side door this tends to make a person feel uneasy and unsafe.We usually have a good experience hopefully things change

- Violette54 (6/5): Basic, but clean and comfortable - An appointment brought us to Globe and this hotel. The hotel is basic, but the breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express and very good. The hotel is south of downtown Globe. It was quiet and clean. Wheelchair ♿️ parking was available. I want to recognize Jerome Brown for extra helpfulness. The pool and hot tub were out of service, and the printer at the business center did not work. Jerome saved the day by using the front desk printer.

Also, when I woke up in the morning, there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Not really that big of a deal. Those things happen! The breakfast was great and so is the staff.

I was totally disappointed that the pool was not open! I wish that was known before booking.

- X3761TXalexism (2/5): Bed bugs - Stayed here these past two weeks. The rooms i stayed in had bed bugs. I was transferred to three rooms. I was bitten all over. I was denied a reimbursement for my personal items that were most likely infested according to the exterminator. Although they did offer to wash my clothes. That did not solve my luggage issue. Which i was advised to get rid of due to bug contamination. The employees there were great. They have a great costumer service attitude. I just cant speak much about management and the owners of the hotel. This was no probably the worst situation i have ever been in.
- Marlaina (8/5): Okay - The stay was good, comfortable beds and pillows it was pretty clean. Housekeeping checked with us one morning to ask if we needed anything. The only issue I had, was the person at the front desk called all day about a pre-authorization bc the hotel was full for the weekend. We were traveling and I was in and out of service and every time I called they put me on hold for a while and I would lose the call due to service. When I finally got a hold of her, I expressed I have never had anyone try to pre-authorize my card before we arrived for check in. The lady on the phone said it was the owners who wanted everyone to pay before arriving at the hotel.

They “accidentally” charged my car an extra amount equivalent to a room, didn’t tell me and I was out that money all weekend due to not getting the return till a week day. I had to pay late fees on bills I couldn’t pay cause they took that extra payment out as well as an additional 25 dollar fee. Then I went downstairs to get a snack and the front desk lady was talking crap about me in the lobby with other people present, while not knowing I was the person she was talking crap about. I called the manager several times and when she finally got back to me she said all she can offer me is extra points if I become a member?!?! There was no way I would become a member of a hotel that treats people they serve so badly! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Also the perfume smell from the cleaner they use is terrible. Hard to sleep due to smell. Also, I wanted a bath tub instead of shower.

- Tina (7/5): Adequate but overpriced - The breakfast was good but had limited options for gluten free and dairy free eaters. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. There was no bedding for the sofa bed (I had to go down and ask, and carry it up and set it up myself) and I had hoped for a separate bedroom and a living area. The two beds and sofa were all in one big room.
- April (8/5): Overall, my stay was short and sweet. The staff was very nice and accommodating. - Breakfast had several options which I liked. I noticed the bacon had mixture of some cooked well, some cooked med, some cooked lighter. This gives guests a choice to their liking. The bed was comfy. The AC worked well when it worked. I had to switch rooms. I didn't care for taste of bacon and sausage. There was no plain eggs. I don't like what was mixed within the eggs. I prefer plain. The AC went out, but I was able to switch rooms. The room also had a bad smell that was noticeable when the AC went out, the room became very warm. I could hear the guests next door having sex.

- Linda (8/5): - I like that the hotel was conveniently along our travel route. We were pleased to be able to check in early. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. It was unfortunate that the one elevator was out of order and we had to take the only available room on the ground floor. Although we were relieved not to have to climb stairs, the room was clean but appeared run down and outdated. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start our day of travel.

- Ashley (4/5): - We were put in room 219, which from the moment we walked in the room, it smelt of an overwhelming musty cigarette smell. We called to have the room switched because it was so strong and they said there were no other rooms available. We stuck it out our first night and was only in the room to sleep. The room was also not prepared and was missing towels, tissues, alarm clock, hair dryer etc. (Probably because they avoid putting people in there due to the smell!) The second night they moved us to room 214 by the elevator. This room had the amenities listed but did not have any and I mean any trashcans - weird. The tv remote control was also broken and we could not turn the volume up or down or turn the tv off without unplugging it. The only positive thing I can say about our stay is that the food was good, and the gentleman who checked us in whose name I believe was Will was very friendly and tried to do his best to empathize with the inconveniences we experienced.

I tried talking to the manager, she listened to me and than put me on hold forever. I tried calling back but nobody would answer the phone. Bad manager for such good place. She should at least resolved the situation She should be fired. I wouldn't stay there again.

The room was a little beat up and showing it's age a little bit. Pool was closed due to weather, but we weren't going to using it anyway. Well located. Easy parking. - 813sherryb (4/5): Expensive for what you get. - This hotel is $237.97 a night - before taxes. It’s has not been updated since it was built. Furniture scuffed, shower stains, aesthetics poor. It does have good breakfast. Have stayed here on business since it was built, it is not new contrary to some of the advertising. Best thing about it is probably the bed which was comfortable.
- Harden (8/5): Great hotel. Watch out for the tub, it may be slippery. - Breakfast had a lot of different things to eat and drink. Staff was attentive and helpful and it was very clean. My room was clean. I loved the fridge, Keurig and microwave? , The tub in room 203 was very slippery and my son hurt his hip when he stepped in the tub and slipped. The tub needs better grip. There weren't any tissues.

- 2GlennE (4/5): Pass this place by - I’ve stayed at some very nice Holiday Inn expresses. Sadly, this is not one of them. Among disappointments: > By some misfortune, I ended up with an EV rental car. The hotel charger was out of order. > Bathroom drains were very slow, almost plugged. > Nonexistent bathroom ventilation. > A weirdly low toilet and seat, was it a bargain? > Furniture was worse for wear. Nightstand was not clean, some sort of goo stuck to it. Big chunk of laminate peeled off the desktop. > Desk chair back was weak, almost fell over when I leaned back to stretch. > Sticky stuff on the floor outside the bathroom. > Scrapes and dings on the bathroom cabinets I could go on. I don’t usually complain and have traveled extensively for work but unfortunately they were just too many things about this day to make me never want to come back. On the plus side, the desk clerk was efficient and courteous on check in and very apologetic about the EV charger.

No pancake mix, ran out of scrambled eggs, no coffee in coffee pot, etc. The cleaning person was nice. Let me into my room as apparently I had to renew my room card each day that I had already paid for in advance. Made no sense to me and was puzzling.

Our room this last time had a huge stain on the carpet the mirrors were smeared and there was dirt and hair in the sink. Until this time it has always been a great experience and the staff is amazing need to work on cleanliness it has gone down hill.
