Cynicoren (6/5): Good hotel, experience could be better - First of all, the good things: 1. Although the hotel is not only inside the airport - it is next to the runways, we didn't hear a thing. The rooms can be 100% noise proof , and as a light sleeper, I couldn't believe how quiet our stay was. 2. The staff - excellent people. They had a problems with the room keycards the day we arrived. They escorted us to our room, doing their best, and while it was a choir for them (they help all the guests this way), they kept their cool. Could be improved: 1. Vegan food is very limited. in the attached picture you can see the best we managed for a breakfast. For dinner (when we arrived) they had nothing, we had to order from McD (and they cancelled delivery ) and then from KFC, so we ate much later than we wanted. 2. Arriving the hotel from the airport seems easy with Google maps, but was very hard with luggage. In the airport we looked for the hotel shuttle, found it and waited for a long while (almost an hour). Not even 1 shuttle stopped there. We got to walk a long way to the hotel in a rainy evening, and the way from the airport terminal to the hotel is short (300m) but exposed to rain and puddles, so we had to carry luggage and umbrellas, it was tough. I'm not sure the hotel can act upon this, but they should know. 3. The rooms are very small and with only 2 person it's crowded.
BusinessPers (10/5): A great stay over before long travel. - Was met by friendly staff, got a great meal, and got a great room, with everything needed for a good rest. The hotel rooms are very trendy and modernized in a way appealing maby to more younger guests. Had to figure out how to use shower correctly, but with the tip from the reception upon arrival then it was easy and practicle. Room size is small but has everything you need. Thanks for the positive stay and hospitallity front staff gave me.

Shaz765 (6/5): How to find a hotel at Charles de Gaulle airport - This review is about all 4 or 5 of the hotels that are close to Charles de Gaulle airport - to help others avoid the stress I felt! The Sheraton is the only hotel that is inside this enormous collection of terminals. The others are all near the long term parking. You reach them on a little free train. It looks as if it serves the whole airport, but it just goes from the Gare, the main railway station, to the car parks and finally the hotels. All the hotels are all modern clean quiet and have limited food options. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and it was fine. Not French, not interesting but fine.
trashedgrant2016 (6/5): Good for fancy lighting - Self check in was simple and assisted by staff without the need to ask. The shower is good. The bed is comfortable but up against a wall on one side meaning you end up climbing over each other. The fancy mood lighting is quite cool but personally I would prefer a kettle or a complimentary bottle of water over this. The restaurant offered just one vegan option, nachos, so we walked 5 minutes to the Ibis who also had just one vegan option, but it was better than nachos.
Lexibelle (10/5): A lovely surprise! - We had only a 14-hour layover in Paris before heading to Portugal so we picked M Citizen since it was in walking distance from the airport. We were surprised at this place. You check in via an IPad but someone is there to assist. The room was minimalist but everything you need. My only issue was the bed was scooted up to the wall so someone had to crawl over the other to get up. Rooms were quiet and comfy and very bare. The restaurant is amazing and has help your self to fresh-baked bread. More on that in separate review. The staff is young, hip and super helpful. My favorite part was waking up in the middle of the night and wanting a cup of hot tea and a cookie. My wish was granted. The kitchen downstairs was 24/7 open and they had several beverage options and three different types of cookies including my fave, butterscotch chip! The hot chamomile tea and cookie were just perfect to help me fall back asleep. We woke up, showered and hoofed it back to the airport for our final flight. It was a brisk walk but much easier and quicker than waiting and taking a taxi/uber; 15 minutes walk vs 30 to 45 minutes wait/drive. We highly recommend M Citizen!
B4990WXjoanned (8/5): Fun concept hotel - mostly for a younger clientele - This hotel is always a fun concept. The rooms are tight and the king bed is firm. The person sleeping on the window side has to crawl or shimmy in and out of bed. The covers are the width of the bed / when two people crawl under there isn’t anything extra for coverage so a bit fitful. Everything in the room works from the iPad provided : the bathroom is the plexi module in the room so can be “noisy”. It’s fun to play with the colours while your partner showers. Staff are friendly and helpful. The train to the airport terminals is about a 5 minute easy walk from the hotel

effiongf (8/5): Good but a Bit Pricey for the Size - The location is good, clean and close to the airport - but the room is a little small, and the price seems a bit high. The check-in process with the app is fun, but can be a little complicated for first-time users. The food is good, but there are few options. In short - good for one night, but not for a long stay.

paokara194 (10/5): A new hotel experience - On an overnight connection flight at Paris, I gave the CitizenM a try, mainly becasue of the proximity to the terminal, but also because of reviews. The actual experience was more than pleasant. Even though the rooms were small, there was nothing cheap about the layout, furniture, bed quality and amenities. The lobby is such fun and the people (they are called ambassadors) were more than pleasant and helpful. It was surrounded by other big name hotels, but the elegance and function was way better.

The room was terrific, the 'living room' a nice place to spend the evening, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I am recommending it to friends.

Rooms are small but well designed and have all desired amenities. Check-in and food & beverage are a very manageable blend of self-service & helpful staff to assist. I would definitely stay here again.
suefinley2017 (10/5): Perfect Overnight Airport Stay - The Citizen M is within walking distance of Terminal 3 at CDG and easily accesible from any terminal with the train tram. The restaurant is excellent, the beds are comfortable, and the shower fantastic. The only odd thing is the room layout, which is perfect for one person, but if you have two people, one has to crawl over the other to get out of the bed.
titilayol (8/5): Great location within walking distance CDG - I flew into CDG from the states and arrived at night and need somewhere close to the airport to stay until my flight the next morning. You can easily walk here from the airport and I would recommend you stay here
415jack94 (8/5): Really nice hotel! Definitely reccomend - Very good experience, getting to the hotel from the terminal is very easy from Terminal 2C. Check in was very easy and there was someone guiding me through. I was a bit suprised about an extra 8 euros charge on arrival. Room was very nice with a rain shower and a tablet that controls most of the things in the room. Only problems I had was hallway light was shining under the door making it harder to fall asleep and the pillows were not the style I prefer (That bit is more personal preference!). Check out is very easy just a few buttons so overall great experience.

Kerstin (10/5): - Excellent option for an overnight stay to catch a flight in the morning. The room is small but efficiently designed and the bed is large and comfortable. Be prepared to crawl over your partner to get out of bed but that’s not a huge issue. The staff was helpful and outgoing. The lobby was attractive and a good place to hang out if the room feels too small. Good food and not exorbitantly priced. It’s a 3 minute walk to Terminal 3 where you catch the airport shuttle train to other terminals. I would stay again.

Super friendly, helpful crew members everywhere, ready to assist you. Colorful, fun environment with a twist of humor in both common spaces and rooms. Generous breakfast buffet and great coffee to start the trip home. And easy walking access to the terminal and trams. We would definitely recommend citizenM and consider this chain in other locations!

artpal (10/5): Super Cool - if you’re looking for an awesome place to say that is eclectic, unique, vibe, and beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you! Located perfectly near the airport, it was very convenient for us to get an early flight. Very tastefully decorated, and you could go back over and over again, and still see new things in the socializing areas. The rooms had a lot of thought, put into them and were unique and very functional. Loved, loved, loved the place! The outside of the building was very Cool as well. I would absolutely recommend staying there!!
lauragQ2365DN (8/5): Good for a quick nighttime stopover in Paris - The hotel is a short walk from the airport, which is convenient if you're getting into Paris late and have an early morning flight. It is VERY modern - everything in the room is controlled with the push of a button, check-in is at a kiosk, and they accept credit cards ONLY. The room was not very big, but fine for one person. The toilet is in the large shower area. The hotel was convenient and comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. However, if you're in Paris for longer than overnight, I'd suggest getting a hotel room closer to the action. Even taking a taxi, Uber or the Metro to any of the tourist sites is a bit of trip.

There is one issue that I have with the chain in general and it is super minor. Please make the print on the shower soap larger, I don't wear my specs in the shower. Keep up the good work.

Jeev1213 (10/5): Great service in spite of hiccup with our reservation - We had reserved a room using the Hopper app, but when we arrived at the hotel, they could not locate our reservation in their system. The "ambassadors" at the hotel said they weren't familiar with that app, but with their help, we were able to rebook a room and they spoke with Hopper support to resolve the issue of us getting refunded for the failed reservation. The 2 ladies at the front desk were very helpful in us getting things straightened out. We were grateful for their help and recommend this safe, extraordinarily clean hotel to other travelers.

The receptionist unlocked the room but without say anything he gave me a room with accessibility, completely different from the one I booked this time and the previous visit

Room come with surprising amenities, iPad which control everything, light, blinds, TV and the ability to stream from your phone. Mattress was surprisingly very comfy.

The rooms are very compact, but efficient. Also, it is a short walk from the terminal three tram. We would definitely stay here next time we have a stop over at the Charles de Gaulle airport.

I guess water is potable, but it is indicated nowhere and there are no water bottles in the room.

Douglas (8/5): - First time at a Citizen M hotel. I was not prepared for the amount of self-service for check-in and food service and tablet dependent room functions. In addition, I was perplexed when I saw a photo of the bed in the room---placed in an alcove where you had to climb over someone to get out. Luckily, the person who assisted us at check-in was able to change us to a room with a conventional bed in a conventional room. The bathroom reminded me of one you'd find in a sailboat.....way too small. The concept of the hotel seems geared to computer and smart phone centric persons which to us seemed austere and less person service centric. Nevertheless, what staff there was were all pleasant, efficient, and helpful.

Barbara (10/5): - A refreshingly unique Hotel. Staff were super helpful, efficient and happy. Room was small but comfortable and had everything you could need. Kind of like living in a tiny house. Access to the bed on only one side could be challenging for those not so mobile. Lobby area was comfortable with options for working and relaxing. Food options were somewhat limited but tasty. Breakfast was exceptional. Location next to the airport was fantastic for our early flight. Would definitely stay again and search out Citizen Hotels in other Cities.

Benjamin (10/5): - This place is a gem in Paris. Conveniently located near the airport and by result close to the train lines going into the city. The staff was very warm and friendly on arrival and throughout the stay. Major shoutout to the location for its menu offering and breakfast service. The meals were delicious! The rooms were nicely laid out and very clean. I love the modern vibe of the hotel and the sustainability approach they encourage is top notch.
Mark (6/5): - Terrible check-in experience in which you are expected to use a computer to check yourself in, scan your passport into the system, it may or may not find you and you may or may not have a room assignment. I think every traveler had to end up getting help from a human and it was very unpleasant after a long day of travel. The scene at the bar/restaurant was similar. Helter-skelter, no instructions on what to do where to order etc. Frenetically busy, loud, disorganized. The building and room are very innovative and cool, thank goodness for that. Needs management help.

Sonja (10/5): - This was such a great place to stay after arriving on a long overseas flight. It’s easily walkable from the Terminal 3 station and easy check in. Room was smallish but well laid out and everything - lights, curtains, tv etc- was controllable from bedside tablet. Lobby/bar/restaurant was lively with a number of seating/meeting areas

Eric (10/5): - Citizen M is my go-to at CDG. I've stayed there about 12 times and have enjoyed it every time. It's consistently a great value. Very convenient to the train station, and also convenient to all of the terminals. Very clean and well-organized, with highly efficient rooms. Great food and beverage options at the bar/dining area, and outstanding espresso drinks for those early morning blast-offs.

Nigel (10/5): A Fun Hotel At CDG Airport - We always enjoy staying there. We like to be able to control the lighting. The view ofcthe planes on the runway from the bdd is unique. The bed is large and very comfortable. I like how their are food options late at night downstairs. Its a very fun place to stay.

Amy (4/5): Nothing to drink in the rooms - No coffee, no water...not even a glass to get a sip from the tap. They're really trying to squeeze more money by forcing you to go to the bar. Pretty poor customer service. I'd stay at a competitor instead.

Christopher (10/5): - We needed a place before our flight at Paris’s Charles de Gaulle airport. This fit the bill nicely. What unusual decorations. It was like staying at an art museum. The bedroom was efficient and fun. We really liked the bed and working from an iPad for lights and television. We were surprised by the breakfast offer. The staff was very friendly and showed us how to get to the commuter train for our flight in the morning. We will stay at CitizenM whenever we can.

Cynthia (8/5): - Nice place to stay and in general, I would recommend it. The only negatives were the bathroom door doesn’t close completely so there is a little bit of lack of privacy. Also the bed is pushed up all the way against the wall, so the person who is sleeping on the far side, if they have to get up during the night, has to climb over their sleeping partner. That is not ideal. For just a solar traveler, it is great.
Tasha (6/5): Aesthetically pleasing, but lacking - After being tired from a big day travelling would’ve been nice to have a front desk person to talk to. The self check in fine but not ideal as I had questions about the airport etc. Trendy looking hotel but could’ve spent more money on the bathroom (really loud in the morning if someone is an early riser and the other wants to sleep in.) Also surprised there was no in room coffee or coffee downstairs in the morning. Fine for a single person but a tight fit for two.
glynis (10/5): - Check in was superb. The hotel is easy to find and easily accessible for terminals 2 and 3 using the CDV which is well signposted. The hotel staff were fantastic. Rooms are contemporary, bright, clean, lovely big bed. It was quiet although you do hear doors closing.
