- danielle (1/5): The worst choice I ever made was staying in that hotel. - My daughter and I stayed there this past Friday night and checked out sat morning We both have bed bug bites all over us! I have never in my life went thru anything this horrible and don’t wish this on anyone. Best western has to b aware that there rooms have bedbug infestation . The hotel needs to b shut down and get this under control.

That there was no box spring cover exposed how old and dirty the box spring was. The caulk was dirty, poorly installed and showing mold. This facility had no right to be called Best Western "Plus". It was embarrassing and we can no longer rely on Best Western for dependable quality.

The receptionist at first refused to give me 3 towels for myself, my husband, and son because she had just given another lady 4 towels. The young lady that worked the 10-7 shift (I unfortunately have forgotten her name) wa - Beautifully decorated hotel very clean and extremely friendly staff. The breakfast was very good as well. The grass area meant for pets was over grown causing it to be full of sand spurs. Also the dispenser for pet waste bags was empty and left open appearing to have not been used recently by guests or staff.

- rhaltn56 (10/5): Best Western Plus, a good stay - This hotel is very nice staff is friendly and eager to help you, rooms are comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast menu is posted in lobby to see daily and has good breakfast, only bad thing about this stay was that internet goes out every 30 minutes or so and then takes couple minutes to return causing a skip in the show you are watching, but nice in all other aspects. Low noise on downstairs rooms and very comfortable beds

- Pastor234 (2/5): Needs to be condemned - This Hotel needs to be condemned. I have pictures of mold all over and the bathrooms in two different rooms had embedded scum in the shower floors. The trash in the rooms weren’t taken out. We actually left without staying. The rooms in both of them had a smell of a nursing home. Which I found out later that it used to be to be. Blood stains on the walls also.
- JESS (8/5): I'd definitely stay again. - The lady that checked me in was very nice. The room was modern and clean. I was surprised there were no USB charging ports in the room. The shower head had very low flow and I found a long hair in the shower. Breakfast was good but they had no brewed coffee. Only a machine that that appeared to be a concentrate coffee maker. I saw three almost full cups of coffee in the garbage so I'm guessing it wasn't very good. I had some juice and picked up coffee down the road. I would stay again.

BW Plus is really a Plus. - The Best Western Plus in Sikeston, Missouri exemplifies the quality of hotel BW used to have in past years. The building is well maintained, the appearance is welcoming, the staff is first rate and aware of the need to assist hotels guests. The breakfast room is not huge, but it is well appointed and the food selections when we visited were varied and delicious. Beyond that, Sikeston is a nice town with a terrific small-town library and and excellent family restaurant called the Grecian.
- Stephenson (6/5): It's worth trying if you're on a limited budget! - The price was right for the area/location. I travel to Sikeston regularly and have stayed at several hotels. The Drury Inn is fancy and therefore costly. The Pear Tree Inn is a bit less yet perfectly accommodating, very comfortable, and clean with extremely friendly staff! They were booked full on this stay, so I opted for the Best Western Plus. The first lady I met, Ms. Flora, at check-in, was not terribly friendly. She spoke in monotone and as if she hated her job. Maybe she was simply having a bad day, which is understandable. The point is that she didn't make me feel welcome or happy to be there. My room seemed clean enough despite the outdated or slightly damaged furniture. I appreciated their refrigerator/freezer very much! It held a lot, and having a freezer was a plus. The pillows/bed were not exceptionally comfortable like the Pear Tree. However, I wasn't uncomfortable. The pool is heated, which I found exciting. The trouble is that SOME of the clientele is a bit sketchy, so I wasn't comfortable using the pool by myself. I don't eat breakfast, but I did see several others enjoying what was offered. The gentleman running things during the day was very friendly and enthusiastic about making my stay comfortable. Overall, I'm glad that I tried the Best Western Plus. I will probably give it another try on my next visit. Directly across from the Best Western is the Country Hearth Inn, which I do NOT recommend unless you don't mind roaches with mouse traps lying around. It's the cheapest, however, and smoking is allowed in the rooms if that's something you prefer. I did not feel as safe in that particular area compared to the hotels just down the road.

It had a damp feel to it. Sheets on the bed were very damp. But it wasn't terrible. Just average. I prolly would stay again for the price
