- Ndobe (4/5): I am jot going beck there... - The fact that it near the mall and easy to find. 1. When i book via Booking.com I booked for 5ppl (2 adults n 3 kids) including breakfast... on the app it showed everything was in order. When we get there we were told on their system it shows I only booked for 2adults only, children were excluded, n I had to pay for their breakfast again. That only pissed me off. 2. The noise. I don't know if Guests are not told about noise. Ppl would walk, shouting n laughing on the caridos non stop, worse some would play music very loud, around 1am😡 3. My rooms ddnt have fridges, no water provided 4. The showers, yooooooo .. Ai no maan no

Breakfast was really not impressive for the amount you have to pay extra to get breakfast included. 3. Shower was cold and not enjoyable at all. 4. Towels were old and wore out.

Will not return - 1)Breakfast OK. 2) Location good. 1) far to much noise from traffic, external noise ie air-conditioner compressors. 2) Frame of whiite window blinds broken. 3) Shower base fills with water..drains very slowly. 4)Algae all over shower corners in silicone. 5) Vinyl floor planks broken/ worn. Tripping hazard and danger to bare feet. 6) Generally, decor of rooms is old, tired and crying out for refurb. 7) This is the first disappointing experience we have had of the many Road Lodges we have used. Other circumstances required us to extend our stay in Jhb, but we moved out and found other accomodation.

The reception lady screaming that my booking only covered 1 person per room for breakfast so we had to add money. Adding money is not a problem but the way she did it was very unprofessional. Also I didn’t understand when I made a booking I mentioned how many people are coming so I wouldn’t arrange breakfast for only 1 person per room

We didn’t get shower caps, body lotion and vanity kits. we definitely didn’t like the 2in1 shower soap. The vending machine does not work, we paid money to get lunch bars, the machine was not working but it took our money. Would have liked a fridge in the room, we came with leftover food and there was no fridge.

- Tshehofatso (7/5): It was good. - The lazy boy couch in the room is very convenient. TV is so 2012 please upgrade to a smart TV so that guests can have the freedom to watch whatever they want. There's also no extra blanket even a polar fleece would do.

- Anthony (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place shows a relaxing atmosphere. Very noisy visitors in the dining area till after 23h00 at night. The people in the next room were smoking weed, which really stunk up the place, even if there were no smoking signs on every door. The guy from the reception had to intervene after a complaint was made.

Furniture and fittings look outdated, theres a communal iron station which i had no problem using but it was just in the hallway. There was only a singular tiny bar of soap, no proper toiletries etc, stains on one of the pillow cases.
