An interesting nature trail right next to the house, Outside scenic seating areas. Close to area attractions like Blue Springs and DeLeon Springs. They only served breakfast on the weekends

- Charles (10/5): We will be back again! - We loved the atmosphere of the house. It was an amazing stay and the memories will last a lifetime! Has nothing to do with the house or owner…but I would have liked a sidewalk to the attractions so I didn’t worry about my daughters having to walk down the street. Like I said though this has nothing to do with the house itself, it was perfect.
- Jacqui (10/5): -

- Paula (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Totally satisfying stay for a Cassada visit - The owner's extensive orientation to the history of the premises was remarkable. Trash can needed with recycle provision in room
- Leslie (10/5): What a pleasant place to stay. - The owner/manager was fantastic. She explained the area, gave a history of the area and the house. Very nice and welcoming . The size of the shower
- Scherry (10/5): Exceptional - This is an absolutely gorgeous property. The house has a wonderful story behind it. Beautiful views and pretty gardens all around. We were there to celebrate my friend's birthday, we loved our room, in the carriage house. We were in the Floridan. The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. We had our own private bathroom and screened in the patio. I loved everything about the property and our stay there. I can hardly wait to go back!
- Darlene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terry (9/5): Definitely my favorite stay near Cassadaga! Hosts were very warm and accommodating. - Beautifully maintained landmark home with interesting history. Rooms are clean and comfortable, all amenities. Great outdoor spaces! Breakfast wasn’t included but available for an extra cost. Would love to have been offered simply muffins and yogurt?
- Deborah (10/5): Girls getaway in Cassadaga - What a beautiful, serene, magical place this is! The owners are so friendly and helpful and full of so much knowledge about the area. We loved our stay and wanted to stay longer!!
- Puneet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (5/5): We love b & bs but this was disappointing - Room was comfortable in building behind Ann Steven’s House No breakfast! Even though it’s a B AND B!!
Also we didn’t get to stay in the historic old house as we had requested a king bed and they didn’t have them but we were not told this! Walls were VERY thin
- Art (10/5): Our stay at the Ann Stevens house was simultaneously restful, adventurous, magical, and enriching! - The host couple was absolutely charming! We felt very taken care of and attended to, but also enjoyed our privacy when we wanted it. We loved the house itself, the surrounding nature trails, the little towns within driving distance, and the slow, peaceful southern charm of the area.
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional - It was a beautiful place to stay, minutes away from where I needed to be. Lovely setting, owners were wonderful! I’ll definitely be back!
- Wendy (8/5): Felt like we traveled back in time with a serene, old Florida feel. - Conveniently located to Cassadaga, Deland, Mount Dora and Blue Springs State Park Breakfast wasn't to our liking.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): We will definitely stay here again when we return to the Daytona 500! - Ann Stevens was comfortable and relaxing, away from the busier roads. Tucked into the wooded surroundings, with a nearby park with trails. Screened porch with the room allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the views. We stayed here while attending the Daytona 500. It was only a 20 minute drive to the speedway. Emily, the owner is very helpful with area information and was always available by phone or text to answer questions or provide assistance. Emily’s staff was wonderful and did an excellent job keeping the room perfect. We stayed in the Rendezvous room while there. While the room was nice, if you plan to stay several days, there are no large dresser drawers. This room would be perfect for a couple days, but when we stay again, we will request a room which has more clothing storage.

- Gabor (10/5): Wonderful location in North-Florida. I highly recommend for couples and families who value historica - Wonderful house in North-Florida. I highly recommend for couples and families who value historical buildings, the closeness of nature and stylish details.
- Boulton (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful people own the hotel. I was able to learn about the history of the property, view the grounds, pet a sweet cat and overall, had a very relaxing stay. Just what i needed. Beautiful trail next to property as well with large bamboo trees!
- Fernando (6/5): - Terrible pillows, I can't understand why people invest a lot of money into properties but neglect the provide the essentials for a good sleep - good pillows.
Excessive light into the room at night, property flooded with outside lights all night that shine into the room. Room lacks curtains to block the light at night, so you get a lot of light all night.
Couldn't sleep
- Dora (9/5): Superb - No Breakfast...it was a Bed and Breakfast facility without the breakfast offered. The only black mark on the stay. Breakfast!
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fred (5/5): Over-rated and over-priced. - It was better than sleeping in my car. The house is nothing more than an old rooming house with no tv and no amenities other than a trickle of warm water in the shower..

- Martha (10/5): All good. The host was so very helpful. - The entire property was lovely we had a very nice stay. It was hard to find a place to plug in my phone and Apple Watch. Not a lot of outlets by the bedside.
- Kevin (9/5): We had a very enjoyable and Emily and the end. Steven's house was very accommodating to our needs of - The location is superb, having a walkable distance to the area attractions of Cassadaga and the Colby Park, and trails around the small lakes. It would be great for a couple having a romantic getaway or a family interested in exploring the history of Cassadaga, as well as participating in its many spiritual qualities. The area of Cassadaga itself is needing to undergo a revival of some sort, and maybe have more restaurants or cafés, available and longer opening hours of the bookstore. We would have liked to have known more about the historical tours, given by the bookstore which could be added to the experience at the property. We would have paid more to have an experience. Our host. Emily did a very very fine job of giving us a casual introduction to the property as well as an explanation of the purpose of Cassadaga, and how it came to be a spiritualistic camp. She also explained how and Stevens was involved and contributed.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - We loved the history! Emily was very friendly and shared all the stories of Ann Stevens and her home. Our room was very clean and safe space to stay! Highly recommend!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Anniversary Getaway - My spouse and I stayed for the weekend for our wedding anniversary and we were in awww with the property. So beautiful and comfortable. The owners are super nice and I just love how she tells the story of the history of the home and surrounding town. The room was more than amazing with its own bathroom with a jet tub and balcony
We didn’t get to experience any of the amenities such as their Tavern bar they promote nor were they serving breakfast due to electrical issues which is understandable. But we will definitely be back hopefully then we can experience all The Ann Stevens House has to offer
- Gergely (9/5): Superb -
- MICHAEL (10/5): - It’s an old estate near the Casadega spiritual enclave. The house is gorgeous inside and retired. The outside needs TLC. Closest dining is inDeland, 7 miles away
- Davis (10/5): We loved every moment! - The property is beautiful! Na

- Heidi (10/5): - The Ann Stevens House was everything you could wish for in Old Florida. Huge camphor trees draped in Spanish moss surround the picturesque house and grounds. I was greeted by a very gracious host and two plump, friendly, orange cats. Inside, my room was fully-appointed. The linens were to die for. The house is only minutes from Cassadaga Spiritualist camp.
