I was there for a race that was taking place in Dolphin Bay - Sam Roi Yot The hotel unilaterally cancelled my friend's room on the morning of the day we were arriving. The owner said he would help him find a room in a hotel nearby, but then just disappeared, never to be seen again during my stay. My friend had to pay for a more expensive room in another hotel.

Personalet frs thailand snakker virkelig dårlig engelsk.

• peter (5/5): ... es gibt im Ort erheblich schlechtere übernachtungsmöglichkeiten - das Zimmer war eigentlich ansprechend (sehr sogar) auch das Sitzen im Garten gemütlich das Hotel war bei Booking.com überteuert woanders erheblich günstiger kaum (gar keine) Gäste, entsprechend kein Essen, keine Getränke, kein entsprechender Service der Pool wäre ja ok, wenn er geputzt wäre

• Fyles (8/5): Decor with beautiful Thai wooden trim and old charm. - The large room with high ceilings and lovely wooden Thai trimming, is welcoming. The walls are concrete and keep noise out. The owner, Bram, is very helpful and willing to answer questions. Also, Bram's father and the pet dog Bella, are nice. Just one block to walk to the beach and restaurants. Nice pool, quiet neighbourhood, shade, good breakfast. Shower has lots of hot water and is spacious. Daily room freshening appreciated. This place is relaxed, but it isn't spotless. The towels are well used but air dried and fresh, which is fine by me. The place is dated but has charm and is welcoming.

• Ian (8/5): Small hotel, good location, friendly owners and staff - A small hotel in a pleasant setting, the rooms surrounding a central compact garden and swimming pool. Hotel owners were able to arrange trips or even drop you off at some of the closer locations. Breakfast with a reasonable variety was included, the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, when out for a walk one of them offered us a lift back on her moped
• Waunwyllt (4/5): Very Disappointed. - The peace and quiet His & her Sinks which was handy. Bram & his visiting father friendly. Ceiling fan & a/c Also Ceiling fan on terrace which helped ward off flies etc. Lack of advertised facilities. What was offered was nothing like advertised ie no safe, unable to pay by visa etc, only accepts card or bank transfer. Too costly to install card machine. No bar. No restaurant. Pool filter never on during the day. Pool could be quite dirty at times. Not many used pool because of this. Only 4 sunbeds even though there were 11 rooms. Garden is in need of a good tidy. Owners dirty car parked in front of our room, so instead of a pleasant outlook, you looked at this dirty car. Towels extremely thin & rough. No hand towels supplied until the last 2 days. Hand basin taps never wiped over, toothpaste splashes over tap the whole 2 weeks we were there. Curtains broken and an eyesore to look at. Owner gave us 2 pegs to keep them shut. Floor in room & bathroom never washed the whole time we were there. Terrace table filthy, had to clean it myself. Terrace never swept, there was bits of paper, etc, under the table when we arrived & still there when we left. My partner had to clean the shower head so that there was a good water spray. He also had to defrost the freezer so that I could store some meds. When defrosted, we found a tub of ice cream. Told Bram about having to defrost the fridge and he wasn't in the least interested. After 3 days I had to ask why room hadn't been cleaned & and the towels changed. Room should have been cleaned daily. Father blamed Booking.com for advertising misleading hotel description. Take no notice of the description given on Booking.com as this is VERY misleading, hotel nothing like advertised, especially the 'photos which are extremely old. Couldn't recommend.

• Jane (10/5): A nice quiet, relaxing, peaceful stay - We loved the location of the property. You were literally 2 minutes away from the beach where there are some lovely restaurants. The owner, Bram is very helpful and will go out of his way to make sure you are having a lovely time. The place itself is quiet Nothing. The place was great.

• Bea (8/5): Very good - If you like a chilled and laid back vibe then this is the place for you. The grounds are beautiful with a lovely pool. The rooms are of a good size with comfortable beds and hot showers with good pressure. The owner Bram who is Dutch is very friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to do in the local area and can organise cars, trips etc. Breakfast is a very relaxed affair in the garden and it is a couple of minutes walk to the beach where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

• Jennie (8/5): - Located just down a side road next to the larger Dolphin Bay, Long Beach Inn is an 11 room property with a nice pool area. Breakfasts are included snd they also offer lunch/dinner and room service. Bram, the owner, is very pleasant and will offer to take you to the shops, or the local bus stop, which are about 20 min drive away. We were there just after rainy season so many places to eat were still closed or only open weekends, but quiet didnt bother us. Rooms are spacious, beds are large and the showers had good water pressure Would stay again

• Michelle (7/5): The staff, breakfast and pool area made this a cute little stay! We would stay again! - Breakfast was good and you could have as much coffee as you wanted. Staff were really friendly and A the hotel manager supported us well with getting a taxi to our next location and was also super friendly. GRAB will not work here! Pool was good and a nice little sunspot. Room wasn't the cleanest as there were ants in our room and bathroom, 2x large spiders in the windows of shower area with cobwebs and 1 on ceiling. Dusty behind bed. The lovely cook come cleaner sorted the ants out for us and the spiders apart from the one on the ceiling along with cobwebs were gone. She gave the room a good go over. When the ants returned, I told A that there seems to be a nest behind the bathroom mirror so will need sealing. The outside toilet needs some attention and only 1 bike can be taken out as the pumps do not fit the valves.
• Dunja (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for 3 nights in the Long Beach Inn with our 3 children. The staff was very friendly, the children loved the pool, everything was very clean, quite and only 1 minute walk from the beach. Bram, the owner, was very helpful with tours and even guided us with his car to the marshlands. Excellent base for tours to the Kui Buri NP and to the phraya nakhon cave (Sam Roi Yot NP). We would stay there again. Thanks Bram and staff for 3 lovely days! Dunja and family
• Daniel (8/5): Sehr schönes, kleines & familiäres Resort - Sehr schöne Anlage und Zimmer. Auch die Lage ist super - es sind nur ein paar hundert Meter bis zum Strand. Leider ist der Strand nicht so gepflegt, aber es ist definitiv einer der schöneren Abschnitte. Mangrove Forest als auch Phraya Nakhon Höhle sind Highlights in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch unsere Hündin hat sich im Long Beach Inn sehr wohl gefühlt.

• michel (10/5): Séjour en toute quiétude - Hotel situé au sud de Bangkok dans un environnement isolé de la faune touristique, idéal pour un séjour au calme, Bram, sa famille et son personnel sont très présents et ne manquent pas de vous proter aux petits soins. L'hôtel ayant une capacité de 9 chambres, on peut apprécier toute forme de discrétion et d'aisance. Les environs offrent quelques sites très intéressants à visiter ainsi quelques commerçants divers et variés conformes à l'esprit très positif des thaïlandais. La plage est à 150m à pied. Je recommande fortement cet hôtel pour un séjour au calme sur une durée de transition dans la découverte du pays. Une adresse à garder dans son calepin. Et encore merci Bram...
• Cath (8/5): Lovely place, great food, friendly staff - Lovely place that suited us all very well. The pool, darts board, pool table entertained teenagers and ourselves. Also pleasant layout with patio in front of our room to relax. Quite large menu and we ate there a lot - all very tasty and good choice of dishes. Nice to have other restaurants very close for a bit of variety. We also appreciated the relaxing size of our place. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, whose smiles brightened up our days. Also a great book collection. Tasty and generous breakfasts too.
• Josh (10/5): Excellent Site and Service - Sam Roi Yot is the Thailand of 30 years ago and the Long Beach Inn is the place to stay. Quiet, a few minutes walk from a long, sandy and mostly empty beach, and a few kilometers from one of Thailand's most beautiful and least explored national parks. Our spacious, comfortable room was waiting for us on arrival and we were given then keys immediately, without having to stand in a reception desk. Garden atmosphere, great people!
• Mags (8/5): Good position and good value. - Very helpful staff who are polite and couteous. The place is quiet and peaceful. The pool is clean with enough sun beds. Good location for eating out, but here at the Inn they provide a good menu range and it's reasonably priced. Bram and his staff do as much as they can to make your stay pleasant. Bram books taxis and trips if you need them. We enjoyed our stay it was relaxing and if in the area we would stay again.

• Plum (8/5): Great Location - Stayed here for about 6 nights with husband and 2 kids. Location is about a 3 minute walk from the beach. We have stayed at beachfront resorts in Mexico in which it took longer to walk to the beach for our room than it did to walk from our room to the beach here - so do not let that it is not actually "beach front" scare you. My husband like the small feel of the resort, the garden area and pool is really like a big backyard. Very home like. Fellow guests were interesting and friendly. Restaurant is nice, but was out of several items when we tried to order. The food we did get was good. Both Thai and Western options. Thai Papaya and shrimp salad was best we had in Thailand. Mashed potatoes were a hit as well. Executive Room was nice size and had room for extra twin mattress for kids, but in room safe did not work - it was missing both batteries and internal workings. Ask first day to have it replaced, but never heard another thing about it. AC worked well. Would have liked sheets changed more than once in 6 days. And it would have been nice to have a welcome mat consistently at front door so that floor would not get wet/dirty. Had one the first day, but not everyday. Manager is a bit slow responding to emails, but does eventually respond, so do not get discouraged it you do not hear an reply within 48-72 hours. Hotel can arrange pick up to and from airport in Bangkok. Staff was nice and pleasant. Good value for money and we would say here again
• Albert (8/5): Wrong location a real bummer - I booked this hotel because it said it was in Hua Hin, but it was actually a 30 minute drive south of Hua Hin in Pran Buri. Hopefully the hotel and hotel.com can fix this so others will not be mislead as I was when I booked the hotel. The hotel service was good and the food was good. The kitchen doesn't open until 8:30am so if you like to start early you will need to find breakfast elsewhere. It was very close to the beach so morning sunrise walks were a plus.
• Vicky P. (6/5): Ok but expected better - Room was large and clean but bathroom requires updating as faucets and shower head were old and cracked. Cobwebs & dust in the bathroom also. Mentions in the advertising as "luxury" but there wasn't anything luxurious, breakfast was a limited option made to order, taste was ok nothing great. Pool was small although in the photo looked much larger. There is nothing in the immediate area to do, unless you hire a taxi or a bike. Location for a getaway is nice but at the same time any great restaurants were in Hua Hin which is about an hour away and costly to get a taxi (1,500 THB return) where a taxi from Bangkok to Hua Hin was (2,200 THB and a 4 hour drive one way). Had mentioned in the booking that we were celebrating a birthday and expected a little something to make the stay special but did not receive anything. Also staff do not speak/ understand English that well. So pretty average stay for the money paid. Did not feel that it was value for money.
