- lrX1165BT (10/5): Great place for mom and kids for a weekend getaway - It was a great location, close to the roads that take you around town, close to markets and restaurants. It was clean, with ample space. Price was great. My child is potty training, and clogged the toilet with toilet paper, they got us a plunger right away and everything ended up just fine! I liked the basic room, not fancy where I was worried my kid would break something, but cozy. My favorite feature is the code for getting into your room. We didn’t have to worry about remembering and/or losing a key the whole time! It was great! All front desk staff were so kind. There is a great park next door!

I honestly don’t know a better location or place than this one. My kids loved being able to walk right over to Storvick Park next door which made things so easy and enjoyable. My teens also appreciated being able to walk to get coffee and explore downtown without needing a ride. The hotel itself was very comfortable. The bed was just how I like it, with soft feather pillows, and the décor was cute and modern. The room also included an adorable fridge and a microwave, which were incredibly convenient during our stay. I will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

The staff was very professional and accommodating, and the manager Travis was delightful. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as could be. The beds were cozy, the facilities were squeaky clean, and the decor fit the anacortes vibe. We will definitely be visiting this inn again. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

The sink outside of the bathroom is really nice, and the bathroom was very clean and they give you plenty of towels. I really like the soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower. The staff was very friendly, and they had an option to send texts to the staff to request items or ask questions. There were no stains or anything on the sheets and they smelled nice. The beds were made beautifully as well. They even have safes in the room and you can move the TV forward, or side to side. I also really liked the small light they have in between the beds. It's perfect for reading a book at night. I also really appreciated the long desk under the TV with a chair at the end. You could sit there and work or something if you needed to. I plan to always come here when I stay in town. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there's no nightstand in between the beds, just a small thing to place your phone or cups bolted into the wall. It's really just it being so small that's the problem. Other than that, it was perfect.

Affordable…Lots of hot water, clean rooms, very friendly and accommodating staff…Laura in the office was so kind and helpful…we brought our dog and she given a “welcome treat”! The cleaning staff were super friendly…so smiley and told me if we needed anything to be sure and let them know. They took pride in keeping the rooms comfortable and clean! Drinking glasses were actually glass rather than paper or plastic, and very nice coffee/tea mugs. Microwave, fridge, and Keurig coffee maker. We will definitely stay here again when needed!

I’ll keep it short and sweet; In Anacortes, This IS THE PLACE TO STAY. 100% From the Front desk to the Clean and Kept rooms, WiFi actually working in every last room (I’ve stayed on both ends of the property it’s true) it’s conveniently located on the top of the main drag, IF YOU HAVE KIDS-THE BEST PARK/PLAYGROUND IS LOCATED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE parking lot, great place for evening stroll n cup of coffee ect. Last but not least, the price is right. Anacortes inn is without question the whole package,and I’ll continue to make this the place I stay. The entire staff rocks too shout out to Katy! Cheers!

Staff worked with me on reservation since my flight was canceled and came in a day late. Light was out near the microwave and fridge so it was pretty dark in the early morning to try and see. Had to unplug the coffee maker and go to a lighted area to see the instructions printed on it.

Beds were awesome, ceramic mugs and large glasses. There were no nightstands or table lamps, only a shared wall lamp between beds, so that was a downer for me. I used our cooler as a night stand. Friendly staff. The room and lobby were decorated with the owner's art work which is sort of modern/ impressionist land and sea scapes. Very very nice. There are snacks and gift items in the lobby. Downtown location but very quiet. Convenient. We will probably be back

The room was immaculate and had everything that anybody would need to have a pleasant time. There were no hassles, whatsoever. Actually, the staff went out of there way to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. I cannot overemphasize how clean the room was, how stellar the staff was and all of this at a very affordable rate. We can't wait to go back to Anacortes, and when we do, we know where we are going to stay, for sure! Thank you, Anacortes Inn, for allowing us to have a very memorable time free from stress.

Great location, super clean, enough parking and as a family of 3 plus a dog, it was impossible to find a place for only one night with such a short notice. The staff was super friendly and check in & check out very easy.

Spent a couple of days around the area and took the ferry to Friday Harbor for the day. So convenient staying here instead of driving back to Seattle each day. No bedside lighting, just over head and switch was by the door. We stayed in a dog friendly room, so there wasn’t carpet. Room had no doggie odor! Very clean looking decor and room looked fresh. Will stay here again!

I used to be a housekeeping manager so I know what a clean hotel room is supposed to look like, and I was WOWED when I walked into the room. It smelled nice, the decorations and colors were so pretty, the beds looked nice, bathroom and kitchen area were immaculate. I really appreciated the TV and table area because you can move the TV forward, and side to side. I also love that they have body wash and shampoo in big pumps in the shower. When I called about seeing if I could check in early, the woman I spoke to was so sweet and genuine (I didn't catch her name unfortunately, but I checked in around 1 pm on January 28) she just moved me to different room to accommodate me. She then told me she hoped I had an excellent day. The housekeepers were quiet which was nice, and no one in the rooms were noisy either. The location is also great because you're right in town close to everything you need. I felt very at home during my stay, and I plan to stay there every time I travel to Anacortes.

The room needs some sort of bedside lamp instead of just the harsh overhead light, and the walls are pretty thin so I wasn’t able to sleep in due to noises outside.

Maybe have a sign that TV sound cannot be set above a certain limit - goes right TV the walls and is incredibly irritating. No hooks for towels or clothes in bathroom. No hook, etc for hand towel next to sink. Gapping in room door lets a lot of light in.

- rebecap931 (8/5): A safe haven after getting lost in the woods - Had been a long day and rather than drive all the way back home I decided to stay in Anacortes so I would be closer to the remote waterfront rental that I had booked on Whidbey. It was a great relief to come across the Anacortes Inn and find that there were rooms available...only on the second floor. The gal at the desk was kind and patient. I am an older gal who often travels solo. But after leaving home late I had gotten turned around on unfamiliar country roads and it was dark. I needed a place to stop and rest before heading back out in the morning. I appreciated being able to talk about my experience on the roads. I got advice about a good time to head out in the morning and an offer to help me take my things upstairs. There is no elevate. And there is no free breakfast. There are the usual amenities in the rooms.. I got a very large room, a queen double. Everything very clean and in good repair. Free parking in a safe and secure location. Very quiet. Easy to get back on the highway from this location. I appreciated the quick checkout via text.

- Q6093TPmonicap (10/5): Would stay here again. - We stayed at this renovated hotel, because of good reviews. It was simply done, no frills but clean. It had a large sink if you needed to wash something out. Close to restaurants. I'd stay here again.
- L8820NXsuzannet (10/5): Loved it! - The vibe of this hotel meets you as soon as you see the bright yellow door to your room! When you open the door, you are instantly relaxed. Simple lines, splash of bright colors and rustic and industrial touches make you smile! We loved it. You walk in and the room says ‘relax!’ The pictures of the rooms are exactly what you see, but it is better in person
- Rebekah (4/5): - Pros: helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. Cons: thinnest walls and ceilings possible, rowdy clientele, terrible wifi, bare minimum amenities. We stayed 3 nights. First night we were kept awake by the ice maker (two doors down), foot traffic (both overhead guests and adjacent stairs), and loud guests. We were relocated to the upper level after speaking with the front desk. Second night was fine but WiFi didn’t support remote work in the morning. Third night we were woken by yelling guests and slamming doors at 1am and 3am. Do not recommend and will not return.

- April (8/5): - The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the ac was great. The not great was that the WiFi didn’t work, tv didn’t have the basic channels so you have to use your own apps or suffer with Pluto tv. And finally, some of the other guests were a bit sketchy, not a good feeling. But it was very quiet and I slept well.
- Carolyn (8/5): Best for short stays - A/C heating unit was extremely loud so had to be turned off in order to sleep. Fortunately the weather was mild. There are no closets just some hooks on the walls so a stay of 5 days meant having to haul out the suitcases every day. No housekeeping until day three is the norm as this motel. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. Location is convenient on main drag. Very nice park for kids adjacent to motel with big playground. Downstairs room was noisy when guests were in room above because structure is old and creaks loudly when people walk around upstairs. Internet is very slow. We did not use tv so don’t know about that. Coffee maker broken on arrival, but I took it to the office and was given a brand new one. I like their online pre-registration—made check-in a snap.

- Anne (10/5): Modern Minimalist - Our room has no view as it’s by the stairs. However, it was away from traffic and quiet. A second shelf as a nightstand would be nice, and a chair would be helpful. The room is very small. WiFi is slow at times.

- L2933NXamyr (8/5): Easy going stay and nice staff! - The staff here are really wonderful and accommodating. The rooms overall are good, comfy beds and your general necessities. Some rooms have a bit more wear/ less formal renovations but overall this spot is a good deal and centrally located. I’d stay here again the next time I am in Anacortes!
- bardonb0526 (10/5): Great place to stay. - This was perfect for our stay! Liked the contactless self check in process and the texting of info. Employees were very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the hangout in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing we found odd was no real TV. If we wanted it, we had to stream our own or use an spp.
- Robert (8/5): - This was our second stay and the rooms have always been very clean and the staff very friendly. It’s conveniently located off the main road into town and there are several grocery stores and lots of restaurants a short drive away. The accommodations are very basic but it has everything you need. We had a few burned out light bulbs which we asked to be replaced but never were. This made shaving very challenging. One other weird thing is that the sink is a kitchen sink so it’s deep and boxy making it difficult to get close to the mirror.
