Studio # 1 is a non-smoking air conditioned room with a queen sized bed; a small equipped kitchenette and other amenities. There is a small front patio where the guests may sit, enjoy a meal, and view the ocean which is only a stone's throw away. This unit is adjacent to our Garden Unit # 5 which has its own entrance, bathroom and small kitchenette, and is similarly equipped. In this garden unit, the guests can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful backyard, with the bayfront still only a stone's throw away. Unit # 4 is a one bedroom studio that is just across the veranda floor from Unit # 1 and is also similarly furnished and equipped. Guests may choose to dine outside as well as relax in the three seater couch which is just outside of this unit.

Ruby (10/5): A really beautiful and welcoming place and area. - I was only meant to stay at this place for a week but extended my stay with them for a whole month and could not have been happier. The location was amazing! Very quiet area but the parking allows you to be able to drive around the island easily and not worry about where to park at night! Only 5 minutes down the road is Long Bay which is a gorgeous beach and lovely spot to spend the day. Bernadette and her husband are incredible welcoming and made me feel right at home. I had no complaints

GenaKay (9/5): Peaceful stay surrounded by beautiful garden - I cannot recommend this place and host more. What a wonderful experience. Bernadette moved me to a different location when something needed to be done with the original property. She communicated it well in advance, and the home was lovely, surrounded by a stunning yard/garden, including passion fruits! The home is spacious and comfortable, the Wi-Fi was excellent; kitchen was nice. There was a clothes washer and line outside for drying. There was a small issue with the bathroom, which Bernadette recognized and addressed. The location is lovely: beautiful views, nice neighborhood, can walk to different spots. Honestly, spending time with Bernadette (she arranged a custom tour to various spots like Devil's Bridge, English Harbour, Long Bay Beach, Betty's Hope; plus she got me a discount for Sting Ray City.) Bernadette also took care of airport transport, stopping at the grocery store and making sure I had what I needed. She is a wonderful person who shared so much of the island with me. Bernadette is also a talented artist whose work is displayed at her property. I wish I had more time there and with her! The bathroom shower was slow to drain, but it wasn't a big deal.

Ekino (8/5): - L'emplacement face a la mer et l'île Laviscount avec les tortues, perroquets et autres entourée de mangrove. Les excursions pour partir nager avec les raies juste à côté. Le confort du lit. On ne peut se baigner à cet endroit où il y a beaucoup de vase et de méduses. Les canapés très usés ainsi que les ustensiles de cuisines. Aucune bouteille d'eau potable à notre arrivée alors que l'eau du robinet est impropre a la consommation. Le partage du balcon avec le logement voisin, pas top surtout qu'on est tombé sur de gros fumeurs.

Her place was well located on the less busy end of Antigua near the Stingray City site. We rented a car through Bernadette and that was very useful to get to some great beaches and Nelson’s Harbour. The apartment worked well for 4 people. The walls don’t go up to the ceiling so noise does carry but otherwise it worked well for us.

Very reliable and friendly host, answers fast on whats app and brought us to the beaches. If you have no car it might be difficult to come around. Local buses don't run often, a small supermarket is not far, also a small restaurant.

Nembhard (10/5): Exceptional - I am amazed by the peaceful, breathtaking scenery in which the property is located, the friendly and professional service of the owners, Ms. Bernadette David and her husband. I felt like a family and not just a guest. The feeling of being around family is invaluable to travelers away from home. Bernadette is genuine, warm, and welcoming. Being natives of the island, the owners and operators are knowledgeable of the culture, properties, and attractions of the country and make excellent suggestions. The owners are resourceful in solving any issues that arise. The property provides transportation that makes it easy for guests to reach any desired location. While the location was perfect for my particular needs, it is 30 minutes away from the country's capital and business center.

Johannes (8/5): Lovely apartment with lovely hosts and great views in a quiet location - A great quiet location run by an excellent host couple, who make you feel at home and ensure you have everything you need for a great holiday. I stayed 3 days in the studio, which was basic and small, but upgraded to the large 2 bedroom apartment for another 10 days when my partner arrived. It has a large balcony with sofa and table & chairs, which has views over the water and is a great place to relax. I also rented a car from the hosts, which was a lot cheaper than via the usual car rental companies and we shared it with our neighbours. Splitting the cost across 4 people meant it was almost cheaper than 4 of us travelling return journey on a local bus and allowed us to explore the island. With 4 different nationalities (UK, NL, DE, CZ) we all agreed that half moon bay and long bay were the best (and quiet) beaches on the island. The oven was a bit old, but we only used it once. It didn't interfere with our cooking. As a tip, bring your own pepper, salt, coffee, tea and strong mosquito repellent.

Directionally (10/5): top notch stay - the location is superb for tours of great bird island, laviscount island,stingray city and pretty much everywhere. located in a quiet village it's a great place to stay. If you want the 5* butler service go elsewhere, if you want a true experience with Bernadette and Chippy,two of the most helpful hosts I've ever met,, then Ellen bay is perfect. they organised personal tours with local guides at excellent rates. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A car is recommended but the local bus service is fine and inexpensive. It's not something I dislike but just a notification for people that there are only a couple of restaurants locally and one small shop. some may find this a hindrance, we found it a blessing.
Bernard (10/5): A small piece of paradise that’s a must for adventurously travellers - The property was amazing set next to stingray city At the property you were 2 minutes away from the sea if you wanted a swim or purchase fresh fish The rooms were set contained and Air conditioned The property was encompassed by many fruit trees which were colonised by all local birds so you woke up to singing birds. Heaven. Without your own transportation you might struggle to get around but the host being so accommodating I’ve positive something could be arranged

The guest house is in a convenient and desirable location I bet everyone would love it. I loved every second of it. Plus the owner was so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this place.

The garden was very beutiful! with a lot of birds and lizards and the room absolutely okay for me! Miss Naisha is very friendly and nice! She took me 3 times with her car ( between 80 and 100$) around the island where you will find very beautiful places ( my secret ) Bus from Seatons to St. Johns is easy to find and cheap 3 Ec is 1$ ! The shop in Seatons is a shame ( unfriendly young lady no clubsoda tonic cheddar cheese etc ) Better to go Glenville to Muffys! the small restaurant in Seatons is very nice Miss Ruth an excellent cook ( rice with black beans and marvelous vegetables ) The viewpoint from the green house ( where restaurant is ) and the view from small mainroad to all the island are very nice! The beach is no beach only a very small harbour where it smells terrible of dead fish! 2 minutes walk is stingray city 2 jettys nice in the morning and evening but during the day very crowdy! A handful of guests all were friendly only one lady from england was rude i was sitting on the veranda during heavy rain which disturbed her so she was calling the manager in Canada!!!

Mark (10/5): Retreat point with top class hospitality and safety - It is a great facility with lots of options, the garden is near as well moreover the waterfronts. The driver, Bernadette is lovely and a great host, a pro driver, as well the man who cooked me a fish in the evening was also really kind. I don't use to eat fish, but he wanted to cater me with their local fresh food since I had no chance to eat anything too much else before arrived, during that day. Top class hospitality. Yes, there was some party in the neighborhood, moreover the funny talking parrot did that, but not at all at night or in the morning. +Good wifi: was a lifesaver too, as cell providers did not work here. Too short time to figure out anything. Just kidding, nothing negative to say here. :) You won't be disappointed at all, if you book to here!

Linda (8/5): LindaCee Short Vacation Stay in Antigua - The staff, Ms Bernadette and Ms Sally treated me like family away from home. My first time from the US to Antigua. Ms Bernadette and Ms Sally, understood that I didn't know the local culture and was very polite, patient in communicating by explaining everything that was understandable for me. I had everything that I needed for the room minus paper towels for kitchenette. The Ocean view was breathtaking for me and the environment was very peaceful. The many plants and flowers surrounding the home was very beautiful. My vacation was short but next time if I get the chance to come back then I will know more about what to do and expect. I enjoyed the Netflix movies. I like everything but I had to pay taxi for everything. I sleep with a CPAP machine and had to unplug other things to connect my bedside CPAP machine and plug to charge up my cellphone at the same times. So, I thought that it would have been good if the studio room had better, easier or more plug connections. The strip wouldn't take all either because it was too small or because different plugs are shaped differently on the ends. Still enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I come back again. The grocery store was around 5-10 minutes away. The hot food at the grocery store was very good. Ms Sally is the best. She showed me around, explain the history about this and that but I wished that I could have gone to the beach side and walk around a little. Driving is on the opposite side of the road from the US, so I didn't want to rent a car, not use to that. The money exchange was confusing but it was easy to Use US dollars. I recommend this Airbnb Cottages.

The owner was really helpful and recommended a really good car hire and other activities. The lady who came every day was also really friendly and helpful. It was also very good value for money. It was a perfect base to explore the island. The WiFi was also fantastic. No complaints!

Abby (10/5): Lovely apartments in a friendly area of Antigua - Bernie is amazing! - This was a 3 night stop over for us, while we were waiting to meet 'Our Atlantic rowers' Bernadette the host and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. We had a top floor spacious apartment with two beds, lounge & kitchen area and it was perfect for what we needed. Lovely balcony to sit and relax. Aircon is great. There is a shop just up and right - down the lane and up the 'short cut' through the hedges - Saves you time! We had children with us and it felt safe and secluded. Area is more of a true Antiguan 'locals feel'. But everyone we met were happy to help etc. Stingray city is just up the road, 2 minute walk. Thank you Bernie for being very kind and helping the kids to make a banner to welcome our Rowers. We had a lovely stop over stay. We moved to St James Bay for the week after our stay, was absolutely amazing, pricey for us - but defo worth it with active kids and rowers who needed rest and food !! Just thought id add that for future rowers families...

The view of the garden was lovely and the short coconut tree in the garden was a bonus. We had a great time swimming with the sting rays. the studio was a bit outdated but everything was working

Clifford (8/5): Lovely hosts, attentive,welcoming and friendly, I would love to return. - Self catering. Unfortunately due to natural insect life cockroaches and ants welcome food/drink to carry through to first day was not available but understandable. An airtight storage box might allow coffee/tea/sugar/powdered milk to be stored prior to guest/s arriving. The location was very quiet with a couple of noisy evenings one until 8pm (the bird next door which talks) and loud music until 1:45am on just the one occasion. The view is fabulous. Parking is available if renting a car. The mosquitoes but dealt with using bug spray and air conditioning to keep them at bay. The same can’t be said when out and about.

The room has plenty of space. The host is fabulous! We got assistance with connecting to activities and finding a taxi. It is located right next to Stingray City. We wanted a space away from things, but if you want to be directly on the beach, or near tourist sights, you will need to have a car or take a taxi.

Lisa (7/5): Good - I just stayed one night. The property owner arranged for a lovely lady to pick me up from the airport and drop me back there in the morning. The room was comfortable with a bathroom, kitchenette, aircon and wifi. The room was clean and the bed was comfie.

The owner is easy going, however, i observed some tension and confusion with a lady who identified herself as the house care taker, not infront of guests please! Property were close to a couple attractions, stingray and turtle city. Very small Island, not much to do.

Regina (10/5): Amazingly Stunning Beautiful and relaxing - Absolutely beautiful, stunning gardens, peaceful. The perfect space for my family. We used the air conditioning at night and slept comfortably. Everything we need was there and available. Attentive caretaker. We enjoyed our stay here. Brief Power outage

Gail (7/5): Fairly basic accommodation. - Being located next to Stingray City and able to get a discount on their tours. The facility of a shared washing machine. The peace and quiet of the location. The room details said that I would have a sea view when I did not. The kitchen sink was tiny. The TV did not offer live channels.
Gwen (10/5): Beautiful property in this part of Antigua. - Beautiful location surrounded by birds and even hummingbirds. Saw stingrays by the shore and short walk to a small supermarket if anything was forgotten. Bernadette and Chippy were great hosts and every question was answered promptly. Bernadette organised the taxi for our group of 6. Four of us stayed upstairs and our other 2 friends were below. We met on the veranda for our evening meal and watched the sun setting. Some of us even got up for the sunrise! It's just beautiful here. Nothing we didn't like. I've tried to add photos only when I do I lose my review. We took amazing photos and 3rd time writing this review so sadly no photos can be added

Dawn (3/5): definitely needs a freshen up - next door to stingray city old crumbling, dirty walls and ceiling with mismatch units made from plywood. very dusty stale smell which didn’t help the asthma. eaten alive with mosquitoes also. chippy was our host, he was very helpful.
