Guest Reviews
- Paola (10/5): -
- Ferrari (10/5): Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely stay and definitely would book again. Next time for long to take advantage of - It was easy to find, gorgeous! So quiet and relaxing. Nice short walk to a great cafe too. Nothing! That we didn’t stay longer;)
- Marta (7/5): -
- Veronique (10/5): - Lugar muy especial y tranquilo, a 5 min caminando del centro. Camas cómodas y cocineta disponible.
- Espinoza (4/5): -
- Consuelo (9/5): -
- Paola (9/5): - La camera molto spaziosa e luminosa, la posizione e l’atmosfera. Il bagno, lo scarico non funziona bene.
- Saldaña (10/5): -
- Alexander (9/5): Very good, I'll book it again if visiting the same parts. - NA I do not think so.
- Kim (9/5): Superb - Beautiful space. Conveniently located. Great cafe just next door.
- Cynthia (8/5): - It is close and walkable to town, but on dirt and dusty roads. It is very noisy due to unlicensed dogs that wonder around the streets barking all night and during the day. Residents play their music very loud from there vehicles late at night which is a disturbance and there is no peace. But we did enjoy pizza 🍕 at a local restaurant which was good.
- Nattenberg (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marla (7/5): Nice stay in good location - Posada owner was very helpful with getting me on wifi. The room was good sized; the beds were VERY comfy. Pool area was lovely to sit out in the evening. I didn't know that there was absolutely NO housekeeping at the Posada. Our small trash cans overflowed. Also, the pool was very cold. We never even went in, it was so cold.
- Laura (9/5): Really enjoyed it! Perla was a great host. - Decor and pool area Could have used some more kitchen items
- Merlene (9/5): Our group enjoyed our stay, we had kitchen facilities, comfortable beds and lovely outdoor area for morning coffee and e - Well maintained and very comfortable. Septic Smell at back of property
- Eugene (10/5): Especial place off the beaten path and away from the busy streets of Cabo. -
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (7/5): Lovely grounds and spacious room. - Great location in Todos Santos, charming grounds with a pool and the studio was clean, well appointed and spacious. The sewer smell that at times wafted into our room.
- Lori (8/5): Unexpected sensory treat - The room was lovely - traditional Mexican furnishings, not just cookie cutter furniture and decorations. The restaurant on-site was excellent as well as the little market. Excellent location for exploring the town.
We Because the location is in a neighborhood, there were some dogs that barked throughout the night, so we didn't sleep well. Would recommend ear plugs.
- WILLIAM (8/5): - quaint
- Tavares (7/5): Good - laid back atmosphere
nice common area with palm trees and pool
location rather interesting, close to the center, not too far from the ocean (30 min walk min) bed was very soft
chaotic check-in and payment process
area can be loud at times (relates also to the neighborhood, and its culture)
- Nikki (9/5): Return visitors who will always stay here when in Todos Santos. - Small quiet and quaint. Fully furnished and roomy. They should consider either fixing the safe in Unit 1 or advising that there is not one.
- Heintzman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (6/5): Nice unit and grounds, but terrible communication from the manager. - Very good pool and grounds, with lots of plants. Cool historic building. Very good hot water. There are no staff on the property, and you check in and pay at a nearby business. So you are depending on quick responses to your messages from the owner/manager if you need something. We messaged her twice: the first time it took 10 hours for her to respond, and the second time she didn’t respond at all. There is a gate which locks behind you when you leave at night and early morning, and you need a code to get in. She didn’t give us one, and luckily another guest gave us one so we could get in. Very poor communication.
Beds are super soft because of a 4” old foam topper.
- Argenis (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location in the middle of the town. Beautiful pool area!
- Susan (10/5): A wonderful place to stay in Todos Santos - Alice the owner has created a home from home atmosphere respecting the traditional Mexican design. It was great to have the kitchenette facilities in the studio. She has also retained the history of the site by designing the Posada and lovely pool around the chimney of the sugar cane mill that once occupied this site. It’s a very short walk to all the amenities of Todos Santos. Alice is a wonderful and very kind host. She was extremely helpful from the moment I confirmed my booking until the day I left. Nothing was too much trouble. I wish I could have stayed longer. I loved everything!
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Lopez (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful and clean Peacefulness and such amazing customer service
- Luis (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jemma (10/5): Exceptional - Really gorgeous and private location, the owner was easy to get in contact with and very quick with responses. Would stay here again :)
- Marcia (8/5): Excellent option for those who do not want a large, pricey hotel. Charm and comfort. Would certainly stay there again. - Really lovely site with beautifully maintained pool and landscaping. Nice spacious room with traditional decor. Noisy on Saturday night when there was a concert at the baseball stadium that continued into the early morning hours.
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Tamara (9/5): Superb -
- Gabrielle (9/5): Lovely property within easy walking distance of almost everything - Very charming and private. Pool is amazing. Easy to walk to main part of town. Health food store and convenience store very close by. I had to work some and the wifi was terrible. The property owner was very responsive and brought me a modem to use which helped a lot. She mentioned upgrading the Internet and I hope she does. It was very quiet until Saturday night and then the neighborhood was definitely noisier late into the night.
- Oliver (9/5): great and relaxing stay - alles
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Jeffery (7/5): Good - The television and internet was not up to snuff
- Maryann (9/5): Superb - Historical, authentic building
- Lidwina (9/5): Superb - spacious room in a beautiful lush and quiet garden setting with swimming pool. We picked pomegranates right off the trees. Nice to have a kitchen for making breakfast, tea and coffee. WiFi was spotty. It would have been nice to have a hot water kettle.
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (7/5): Good -
- Guntren (5/5): Passable -
- Cynthia (9/5): Superb -
- KARLA (8/5): - Very nice stay
- KC (10/5): - Pool Area is Beautiful. The owner is exceptionally nice.
- Erin (10/5): - The property was great. Very convenient location. We could have walked to restaurants but chose to drive. I was able to see other reviews left by others who had stayed here before to understand you just walk up to your room and the key is in the door. We never received contact from the owner and there is no one on site to check you in, so I was thankful for seeing what a previous review had mentioned. The pool was lovely. Overall we loved our stay here (beds was VERY soft, a small note, if you need a firm bed). Todos Santos is beautiful and we look forward to returning.
- Lyndsay (10/5): - What a beautiful little hotel. Only 4 rooms on the property, with a gorgeous courtyard and pool area surrounded by palm trees. It's a little oasis after a coming home from a day at Cerritos beach or exploring Todos Santos. Alice was amazing—and hilarious. Very laidback place, check-in /check-out very casual. This felt like a hidden gem and not touristy at all, would definitely come back.
- Irvin (8/5): Oasis in Todos Santos - We enjoyed our stay at Posada del Molino. It was a bit of an oasis from the dusty dryness of Todos Santos. The pool and area were both beautiful and well maintained, surrounded by palms, flowers, a variety of plantings and a little history. The room and decor were pleasantly traditional, clean and inviting. For me, the bed was too soft but not a deal breaker. Perhaps a little pricey but with the amenities offered, certainly in line with the prevailing hotel rates in the area. Our stay was most enjoyable.
- Beth (8/5): - Beautiful setting, gorgeous pool and patio. Very spacious room/bungalow with a full kitchen. Shower didn't have much water pressure, but that's not unusual for a little beach town. Bed was really comfortable!
- Christine (8/5): - Difficult to find from directions given. I would have selected something more upscale had other hotels been available.
But it was clean and quiet and had a small kitchen as advertised. Good value for a budget traveler
- Meredith (8/5): - Only 4 rooms total, no staff on property. Beautiful old sugar mill with machinery still on property. Quiet, beautiful and private grounds with salt water pool and turtle pond. Walking distance to most downtown stores/restaurants. Very comfortable beds, soft towels, full kitchenette with dishes, coffee maker, fresh water… TV and cable. I will stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pretty outdoor space
Quiet pool area
Authentic Mexican environment
- Greg (8/5): Will come back! - A very intimate place to stay. Was able to meet all the other guests around the pool. Fantastic location! Very walkable. Enjoyed our stay very much.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent traditional Mexican decor and fixtures. Wonderful grounds, great location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice quiet location. Cool bar next door opens at 4 pm everyday. Good , cheap taco stand across street . Opened until midnight
- raphaelle (4/5): A disappointment - The rooms are charmingly simple just a little outside of the centre of Todos Santos. All fine if the host Alice would be kind enough to pick up the phone and welcome the guests when they arrive. We got there and had no indication of where to go or what to do, and no one was picking up the phone. Alice only showed up 40mins later without any apology (because we sent an email). We did not see her for the rest of the stay only late on the last night to pick up the remaining money for the room (required in cash). At that time the neighboors were having a full on karaoke night making it impossible to sleep, but Alice made it clear there was nothing she could or would do and that we just had to get on with it, even if the party would go on until 4am. Pretty lame given the price of the hotel. Overall, it was a disappointment, mainly because of the attitude of the host.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful spot just on the edge of town, with in walking distance to everything.
- Maria (10/5): - Excelente lugar para largas estancias, todas las comodidades, muy amplios
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The lady in charge was very helpful and gave us a ride to our next accommodation. Taxi did not arrive.
Warm ,energetic and knowledgable. Nice space.
- Keith (8/5): - Its hard to call it a hotel, since it has no staff!
There is only one entrance, from a back steet, but safe, even walking, a white board with your name and room on it there are only 4 and the key in the door, thats it, leave as you arrived.
Has a nice pool, sun chairs, what else does one need?
Walk to all restaurant's. Very relaxing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is an old style little posada. As not-cabo as they get, but the place is clean and walk to town close. Interesting old sugar mill eqipment still on site. It really was a molino.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Close to town. Need some help with overall operations.
- joshua (10/5): - Amazing stay! Great service and beautiful hotel! Favorite new place to stay in Todos!
- Michelle (10/5): - Nice clean small hotel close to everything. Staff was Great!
- Harlene (8/5): Lovely boutique hotel - The grounds have significant historical artifacts from the original sugar cane operation. They made brown sugar beginning in the 1800s. Room was just steps to a awesome pool and area. Room was clean and comfortable except bed was a little hard. Alice the part owner was very helpful and nice. Easy walking distance to downtown. Definitely recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very cute, clean and a great location! - I was so happy with our accommodations at the Posada del Molino! Centrally located, walking distance to everything, a great pool, spacious and clean and the beds were even comfortable which is something I have rarely come across when traveling in Mexico. The private courtyard and pool was a total plus and the hotel has a great boutique feel. I don't have enough good things to say about our stay. Our host Alice was incredibly accommodating and her daughter owns a terrific health food store less than a block away! Todos Santos in general is a great place to visit and staying at Posada del Molino made it even more memorable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): No Owner/Mgr Contact Info Left! - We were disappointed that there was no checkin, contact info, and checkout info. We had a problem with the ceiling fan and had to bother the next door guest for the owner/mgr contact info!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Charming and comfortable - Although it’s run a bit unconventionally, Posada del Molino and its owner, Alice, are just delightful. There is no office, so when you arrive, you find your name on a whiteboard with your room number. The little efficiency is charmingly decorated in a cheerful, colorful Mexican style, with attention to detail. The wrought iron table and chairs are echoed in a kitchen shelf with just enough dishes and glasses. A microwave and little fridge, along with a coffeemaker, make it easy to enjoy breakfast, a snack, or leftovers. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Outside, two tile tables and benches are beside a trickling fountain, separated from the pool by hibiscus and bougainvilleas. The overall effect is tranquil and soothing. The property is next to a health food store/cafe on one side and a bar/grill on the other, very convenient. Downtown is an easy walk of six blocks, and you certainly don’t need a car to get around. That said, Alice gave us a ride to the bus station so we wouldn’t have to haul our suitcases. The only drawback might be that the internet is spotty, so if you need to always have a strong connection, you might be frustrated. All the guests who came and went during our four night stay seemed well pleased, as were we.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome place to stay! - I wrote in advance and there was an iron and hair dryer in our room. It was a great place to stay, walking distance to everything in Todo Santos. The room was very spacious and clean. Parking was a breeze. I wish we had more time to enjoy the garden and pool.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nicest stay in todos! - We bounced around a bit, Have you not been to this part of Mexico before. Pasada del Molina was by far the nicest place we stayed. It was superclean, women run, and close to everything. There’s also a little hippie food store next door. We loved it and would stay there again when we go back.
- Doon (10/5): A great spot - Nice clean rooms,. Safe an secure, Close to downtown restaurant/arts scene, Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool & sun bathing area. Reasonable rates. Pleasant kitchen/coffee set up. It’s a very nice place to stay.
- Larry (6/5): Nice hotel / needs to figure out the bookkeeping - The hotel is classic old 'Baja' - nice, comfortable, wooden doors, etc. Biggest problem was trying to pay for the room. You don't get any notice - just recieve a 'request from paypal'. Then, to pay, you can't use a credit card, you have to deposit $ to a paypal account, go back online and pay them...total pain...I actually got an email from them asking me to drive to a mexican bank and make a deposit to their peso account...like the hotel, I go to Todos Santos a lot, but the complication of paying their bill is something that puts me off the place completely. Hotels.com needs to get this one cleared up.
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK accommodations - Quaint location with pool that was very cold, self check in with not service for our 2 day stay. Bed was hard and lousy pillows. very expensive for the money. No TV channels all snow on a 15 in TV. We had friends in the RV park or we would have been disappointed for the money. Our neighbor was extorted and scared of a local he encountered at the gas station next door.
- Maria Spain (4/5): Not what I expected - It is a self-checking place without service, you do not expect to see anyone to help or to give you tips about the place.
The place is comfortable but it is not a hostel o hotel, is just a rented place.
If it is what you look for, go ahead.
- Steve (10/5): Great spot and great owners! - This is the one place we always stay when heading to Todos Santos. Great location just off the beaten path yet close to everything. Property is beautiful, small and quaint allowing quiet time around the big pool deck or BBQing in the courtyard. Rooms are old world Mexican charm but in great shape with plenty of amenities. At night, walk down to their restaurant for some of the best ribs ever!
- Paul (10/5): Short Winter Stay - Our first holiday in Mexico, and staying in these accommodations was for my wife and I a treat. It's not meant to be a "Holiday Inn." One does get the flavour of the town and some of the history and the opportunity to meet some wonderful people of Todos Santos.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Easy walk into town. Charming setting. - Perfectly located, easy to walk into town yet you're away from any craziness! Didn't get a higher rating for two reasons. We just happened to come when the staff was cleaning...there's no check in! Had we not seen them, we would have had no idea where to park, which room was ours, etc. We came back around 10pm and the gate was locked. Thank goodness staff was still in the bar and could direct us. Other people arrived after us to check in and lugged their luggage around looking for anyone to help. Our mattress sagged in the middle...time to upgrade bedding!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good place to stay in Todo Santos - Overall a good place to stay in Todo Santos, the Chill n Grill bar next door was a quick place to go have a drink and something to eat. (owned by her son). I did not spend much time in the hotel as I was busy with work shops etc. it was a safe, clean place to stay.
- Lisa (8/5): Great vibe, spacious studio - Friendly staff (proprietor's son on property),spacious studio. No office, check-in at cantina (Chill n Grill) next door. My room needed a tad bit of maintenance, door off hinges. However, pool, grounds and overall vibe of place will have me returning for a stay. Clean for rural Mex. Thanks,Gabe&staff!
- Steve (10/5): Perfect Chill Spot - Great little getaway. As Cabo residents, this is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the heavy tourist traffic. With only four rooms nestled in a an old sugar mill building, you have the feeling of having the place to yourselves. Rooms offer the basics ya need to not leave the room if you want to chill and the pool deck/patios are a perfect place to lounge. Todos Santos is quiet these days but plenty of great restaurants and a casual stroll through town makes for a perfect place to diffuse and relax.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Rustic setting - Nice quiet place, but make sure you go ask at the bar next door (Chill & Grill) if you need something. Nobody around the hotel to help out.
- Marie (10/5): Pretty Hotel On Site of an Historic Sugar Mill - I had neglected to confirm my reservation, but our hostess was gracious and accommodating. We loved our spacious, air conditioned room. Decorated and appointed in Mexican quaint, the room had a kitchenette; we were supplied with fresh drinking water for our stay. Everyone was friendly to us including the neighbors, the staff, and the local restaurateurs.
- Randy (8/5): Funky little hotel - Posada del Molino is a quiet, comfortable and laid back place to stay in Todos Santos. The owner and staff really went out of their way to help with any requests. The pool looked nice but I didn't try it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): what i was looking for - great hotel, however the expedia experience left much to be desired
- Verified traveler (6/5): Hotel Agradable - Bien, solo el aire acondicionado no es suficiente en época de calor
