Guest Reviews
- Philip (10/5): - The staff was great. Very kind and helpful. Fresh towels everyday. The hotel is clean, but a little dated which I didn’t mind. It’s very cozy.
- Dolores (8/5): Great owner who really cares about guests - Nick is an excellent owner who is always available for his guests! No matter what the request he was right on it! His baby dog Bella was adorable and added to the homey atmosphere!
- Mark (4/5): - Toilet, sink and shower is very Old. Toilet did not flush right. Sink was built for a child. Spiders in every corner. Bathroom floor is dirty and old. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Some modern upgrades are needed badly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good spot - It was clean. The mattress was ok. The water was hot & there were new tvs. Everyone was very nice. It’s in a really good location to the boardwalk & the beach.
- Kim (10/5): - The property was great perfect for a few night down the shore. The rooms were old and dated but that was fine we only really used the room for sleeping and showering. The pool area was great and Nick, who checked us in and out, was super friendly and helpful. We’ll be back
- EllaMae (10/5): - Gentleman at front desk was very helpful with any questions we had. He also helped my husband lower the seat on my bike. We would definitely stay there again.
- Laura (8/5): - Great location. Friendly service.
- Marjorie (6/5): No Frills - Extreme No frills. Walls are thin, entry door is flimsy and not very secure. It's Wildwood, so the noise level doesn't die down until after 2am. We were there for the triathlon. So not the best good night sleep before the race. But the staff was super friendly and the room was relatively clean.
- Mary (10/5): - It was nice. Close to beach
- Maryalice (10/5): - It was a really nice place, but the rooms need updating... There was no plug in the bathroom for a hair dryer or anything. No outlets anywhere except above kitchen sink.
The sofa material was that picky kinda wool from the 70's, but the room was VERY clean & the staff was amazing. Nick was very friendly & willing to help with anything you needed.
- Eric (10/5): - very nice property in a nice area.
The owner, Nick is an awesome Guy.
He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time !
- Shanita (6/5): - No thanks
- Patrick (10/5): - Great experience staying at the Grecian Gardens. My family loves it there. The staff, especially Nick, make you feel at home. Can’t wait to go back.
- Dora (10/5): - Overall was an excellent stay.
- Deyka (8/5): - Nick was amazing, friendly, easy going and helpful. The property can use a good remodel. Great location, close to everything. Great price!
- Tania (6/5): - The room was clean and very outdated no wall art. The air conditioner was new. The bathroom needs a lot of work. The water comes out dirty a first. The shower handle do not regulate the water temperature. The parking was very tight and very uncomfortable to get out of your car. But Nick the manager was amazing. The location is perfect 3 block from the boardwalk.
- Matthew (10/5): - Alena nice staff nice pool and accommodating. Always helps when asked.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Older motel but extremely clean. Management was wonderful. Nick was personable and helped you out whenever he could. Rooms were cleaned daily by a very lovely young lady who did an excellent job. Pool was clean and never overcrowded. Recommend if your looking for a small clean motel a couple blocks from the beach. I
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is outdated and has no coffee/ice machine, but the manager at the front is so nice and sweet you don’t mind those little things.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My family and I enjoyed my stay here. The location was near the end of the boardwalk/beach. Nice and Convenient. Limited parking in the area during the weekends and holidays.
A nice convenience store nearby. Well stocked.
The Grecian Gardens was comfortable, clean and basically quiet. Friendly staff.
I was disappointed with the WiFi.
4/5 stars. I plan to return.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nick knows how to treat people with hospitality that was second to none!!
- Andrew (8/5): Had a good time - Great service and a good spot for the money and it’s right next to the boardwalk def would stay again next year ! Shoutout to the manager too he’s great !
- Kelly (10/5): - Clean affordable and deiendly
- Anna (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay for a very reasonable price!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, staff very friendly, on site manager was very helpful and polite.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Had a full size fridge and stove and microwave staff was friendly pool was clean
- Eileen (6/5): - The hotel is very dated and everything is old. Just like in the 1950s. It was where you would stay 30 years ago on your senior week. Would give a worse review however the hotel attendant was very helpful, very accommodating, and always there when you needed him.
- Luis (8/5): Great - Great
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Blood on sheets and AC turned off every 20 minutes.
- Joan (6/5): - it was just OK for what we wanted it for place to sleep & shower. Water pressure was awful, especially in toilet!!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Get what you pay for... - Room isn't fancy but did the job. Price was fair but definitely need bigger beds and less bugs would be nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Location was good, room was very outdated. Beds and pull out sofa very uncomfortable.
- Linda (4/5): - We booked this hotel with low expectations, understanding exactly what this was - a cheap hotel 'suite'. A little kithcenette included and a pull out couch in the living room.
Had the kitchenette included a glass, one glass...or had there just been a glass included in the suite somewhere, anywhere; I could potentially call this a hotel. But I can't. No silverware, not even a spoon or a butter knife.
If the couch had been something I could sit on then I coyld have considered this a living room, part of a suite. But it wasn't. My grandson hurt himself sitting on it, the cushions sunk below the frame.
No kitchenette. No living room. Not a glass. Couldn't call this a suite. Couldn't call this a hotel. Sadly, didn't even meet my low expectations. The only bright spot was the hoyel clerk. He was cheerful and friendly. All hoyels should have someone like him working their front desk.
- Julie (4/5): - The front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. They let us park all day after we checked out. We were allowed to park and use the pool before our room was ready. However, when we got in our room it was so outdated... looked like furniture from the 60-70s. There was no mirror or desk for women to get ready, no hair dryer, no iron, no closet, no hangers. The beds were comfortable but the furniture was old, stained, and broken. The couch was a green leather. The table/chair/ microwave were old and very dirty looking. We didn’t sit on the couch or chair at all because of how they looked. There was a full size refrigerator but not kitchen or sink. There was old gum stuck to the carpet in several places. There was a long, dark hair on one of the pillows. The bathroom was even worse-One small fluorescent light, no counter space go get ready, very small mirror, missing floor tiles and stained tub. I had to put all my hair products and makeup on top of the toilet while I was getting ready. There was only 1 outlet attached to the light, so I had to plug in one curling iron at a time. The room sleeps 6, so it would be very inconvenient if there were 6 girls who needed to shower and get ready in one bathroom with one mirror and one plug.
- Erica (2/5): - Rooms were dirty, out dated, and expensive for no reason.
- Pauline (8/5): Great location if you don’t mind original fixtures - Walking distance to beach and boardwalk. Pancake place and food market within steps make this a great location. Full fridge and freezer, and grills by the pool are bonuses! However bathrooms are original and AC unit was too loud to keep on during sleep. Nikolai at the front desk is very helpful and let us park even after check out!
- Denise (6/5): - Nice staff. Bathroom and kitchen were clean. But bedroom furniture had not been dusted in months!
- monique (10/5): Home away from home - The best service i ever had in wildwood! The staff was excellent especially Nick! Clean pool. Don’t understand why there aren't any pic posted of the hotel its very charming inside and spacious. Will return!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Guy at front desk is so nice. Hes seems to do everything there. And location is great walking distance to beach and for at beginning of board walk
- Sierra (10/5): Clean rooms & VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! - I had an awesome time. Nikolai at the front desk was so nice and accommodating. The rooms were clean and neat and the pool was sparkling and refreshing!! The guests were friendly and I will DEFINITELY book again. THANKS FOR AN AMAZING TIME!!
- Juanita (8/5): Fun, fun, fun - Great time at TROG event
- Verified traveler (6/5): Unsatisfactory very old. Holes in walls and ceilin - It's was old and in need of many repairs in room.
- Teresa (8/5): Great value - Great location. Yes, the hotel is dated, but we found it to be fairly clean and comfortable. People who work here are terrific. Nice vibe in general. Showers are weak, but who cares. It's exactly what we were lookong for. Great value.
- Avery (10/5): Travel with people with disabilities - I wotk for a non profit agency working with people with disabilities. We arranged for them to go on vacation for a week. The six gentlemen had such a great time. This hotel was perfect location to everything around Wildwood. Rooms with kitchen and full amenities. The hotel Nick was GREAT. Very kind and assisted us with everything we needed during time. It was a perfect get away. Will definitely be back.
- April (4/5): Very outdated - The room was super out dated and not as clean as I think it should have been. There was gum on the rug and sofa. The maids never came in to give us clean towels or make the beds until 8:00 the next night when we were in the room for the night. It was very hard to tell whether or not it was cleaned at all because everything was so old and stained. The only positive was the manager Nick/Nicoli. He was super professional and very nice and accommodating. Very hard worker.
- Donna (8/5): Cardinal Dougherty/wildwood weekend /old friends.. - The service was outstanding, very nice staff. The beds and sofa were uncomfortable. Having a kitchenette there were no pots, dishes, cups or utensils. Location was prefect for our group of four. The room was clean just out dated. On the day of check out they came and told us to take our time even if we wanted to stay till 1-1:30. We can't say enough about the staff. We (my husband) left $40.00 worth of fudge and salt water taffy behind we call and Nikolai (spelling might be wrong) said he would ship to us right away. Like I said the staff outstanding. Yes we would go back. Just wish the would update.
- Karen (8/5): Super nice staff - Great hotel, could use a little updating but clean and miconvenient to every thing. Staff extremely helpful and nice. Couch was a little small and worn but pool and grills and mostly price makes up for it. Bath room clean. Peaceful at night
Would go again.
- George (8/5): It'll be great when it's overhauled - Nice motel good location but definitely needs major overhaul.
- Valeria (10/5): Great experience! - We loved staying at Grecian Gardens, very spacious and we loved it had a full size refrigerator. The staff were very friendly and courteous. We were sad at the end that's how much we didn't wanna leave!! Would definetly come back next time we are at Wildwood.
- john (4/5): Typical old wildwood motel - Stayed for one night. The place was very old and outdated. Thenone positive of the place was the manager Nicoli. He was very helpful with anything you needed. I wouldn't stay again simply because if the condition of the place. Very old.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Super nice staff - The staff was incredibly nice and helpful--kept pool open a little late for our kids, let us push our check out times. It's not fancy, but good price, great location, fun pool toys and nice grills. Staff make you want to give a good review, even if rooms are a bit dingy.
- Brandon (4/5): Staff was nice, but the motel is run down - There was no lie about 2 inches from the floor to the bottom of the door. You could see daylight and a mouse or rat could easily walk right in. The bed looked like it was made by someone who never made a bed. The sheets were loose. The carpet was full of burn marks. The wifi was so slow nothing would load. Over all just a really crappy motel. I attached a photo of the door.
- Shiney (2/5): - The hotel needs to be updated!! Dirty rug, plastic covered bed, old furniture, old TV, smelly bathroom! Location is good. Front desk staff was really nice.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Very Old but Clean - Our stay here was nice. The place is obviously very old but it is kept clean. No elevator made it difficult for my wife to get to our 3rd floor room. Front desk attendants could not have been any friendlier or more helpful. Don't plan on any extra amenities, little things like cups, tissues, shampoo, etc.
