• Jessica (7/5): Value for money, 3-star family holiday - Proximity to beach and tidal pool was great. Layout of the flat good. Big patio with built in braai. Pool was nice but could do with heating. Only stairs up and down to 4th floor apartment with luggage and groceries was a challenge. No dishwasher or washing machine which we expected as it was mentioned in the write-up. Fan in back bedroom does not relief heat as it’s too small to even create a slight breeze. It was quicker to buy a new toaster as housekeeping never showed after the toaster kept tripping the power. Only 2 chairs for the patio when the flat sleeps 4. General upkeep needs attention and furniture needs replacing (dining chair broken, couch pillows worn and dirty, towels old and thin, ensuite bathroom no extractor fan and extremely hot)

• Zainab (8/5): Great stay. - Nomonde was very welcoming. Her customer service skills are spot on. She assisted us in every way she could to ensure my family and i were comfortable. Definitely booking this place again for a weekend away. The only downfall I feel was the wifi. The booking showed free wifi but unfortunately it only worked by the reception area and the pool area. In the apartments it never really picked up.

• Shaik (10/5): A Serene Escape at Costa Smerelda - The place was fantastic. Nomonde from reception was superb.👌. Keep up the good work, Nomonde. A definite stay for me again with family and friends. It's absolutely amazing. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There is absolutely nothing to not like about this place.

• Nomvula (10/5): Awesome experience , worth doing it again. - Everything was exceptional, from their Friendly staff Monde who welcomed us on our late check in and assisted and helped us through out our stay. Their apartment is very clean ,spacious and gorgeous. Definitely going back next time with my friends I want them to have an experience of the place and that beautiful sea view and capture some pool content 🤍 it was my second time at costa smeralda and I can’t wait for my third time there .

• Waheeda (5/5): Slowly deteriorating - Good view of the beach from the unit The overall unit is a bit out dated , needs a revamp. We arrived half an hr later than check in and the room was still not ready. To my horror the house keeping had the clean towels thrown on the dirty floor. The bathroom cubicles are very compact, my husband was not able to move the shower once he got in . The kettle was very loud when it was heating, so its best that they replace it .

• Kelly (10/5): One of the best stays I have ever had💕 - I loved the whole apartment. It was a beautiful apartment with beautiful views. I just wish that the apartment had a lift because I had traveled with old people. But we managed. The apartment was so spacious and the bathrooms were amazing. We had a lovely stay and I enjoyed every moment of it. The apartment was fully equipped and everything was easy to use. The host and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They even got my mother in law a birthday cake for her birthday😊 the pool was absolutely lovely and well taken care of. The drive to the place was wonderful. There were restaurants all around. It's such a family orientated place and it makes you feel so comfortable that you do not want to leave at all. I did see one cockroach at night which upset it but that's an easy fix and I hope that management of the accommodation spray the place for it to be cleaner. Other than that everything was absolutely wonderful!

• Shanp10 (10/5): Most enjoyable, wonderful neighbouring guests. Staff are fantastic, - Location is great away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to walk anywhere. Staff are amazing, Nomonde you are a super star and Albert you are most courteous and super amazing nothing everything was perfect however furniture cupboards wardrobes could do with an upgrade didn't use any as the appearance inside and out does not look to hygenic, never spoilt my stay though

The view was exceptional it’s right at the beachfront The Wi-Fi is not available in the rooms which was a bad let off. It’s only available at the pool area. GPS will drop you off at the upper gate, there is no signage to use the beach entrance.

• Allysha (2/5): Very poor - Good location across the beach. Staff very accomodating No generator or Jojo tanks. Had a burst water pipe, water was turned off. Staff and a resident from the complex did provide 5l water bottles and extended our check out time though. However with the amount of load shedding and water cuts in SA, a generator and Jojo tanks sre a must have for a holiday resort . The place is very damp and not well kept, very untidy. Bathrooms old and untidy and very very cramped. in the children's play area, found some kind of poo in the sand pit. Very disgusting Overall for a first group resort, it's not up to standard.

• Ismail (1/5): terrible overall the service the place the staff the management. - We would like to express my absolute disappointment and dismay on arrival to the Costa Smeralda apartments. Firstly when doin the booking online via the booking.com app my sister in law Suraya and I chose the option to reserve and pay later only to find out that they debited our accounts the same day. On arrival around approximately 5:00pm the receptionist Nomonde received and advised our apartments are no. 12 and 13 however was very unhelpful. Nomonde acknowledged my sister in law n I and said she was only waiting for us to arrive as her shift is over and she is going but there were no other staff present there with her so we asked if we need anything who will be here to assist us her response was “like what will u need” we were quite surprised to hear that. She then responded if u need anything u can call the after hours number Being the host we had to ask the various questions of necessity we queried regarding the load shedding which She was unable to give us the times and jus said we currently in load shedding and then advised us that the load shedding schedules will be in the rooms. We then asked if the rooms have back up lights which she said yes we further asked if the apartments have a gas stove as we both have little ones and have children with us she said no because people were stealing the gas stoves. She then gave us 2 carrier gas stove plates which we had no knowledge on how to work it. We further requested her to show us how to use it whilst showing us the one gas stove was not working. Suraya and I still said to her if u gave this to us without checking it wat wud have happened if we left to our rooms and u wer gone home who was going to assist us. We then proceeded to the apartments with the rest of our families. The parking lot area was completely dark with no lights at all due to the load shedding.

• Luvuyo (10/5): Value for money indeed - Staff attitude is excellent from the manager, reception, house keepers and the grounds men. The apartment was to die for everything is on point, and the view is breath taking. Perfect place to relax and the area is very peaceful To be honest nothing i can think of
