Lorraine (9/5): - Everything was fantastic. The layout was great allowing for privacy and shared times together There was quite a bit of mould behind the hand basin. Also the microwave in the bathroom was a bit strange

Jade (8/5): Really good except the key problem - Good location and reasonable price The key cards weren’t ready on arrival so we had to wait for staff to let us into the room so a bit of waiting around with heavy bags
KP (10/5): Great serviced apartment for long stays. It’s our go to hotel - Great view. Our request for high floor with views are usually met. We like the coffee machine. The kitchen equipment , oven did not work. This has happened on two of our visits. Rooms are not serviced daily.
terence (9/5): My latest stay would be well over the tenth time I have stayed at the Watson, for good reason - Great facilities in room. Great location for walkers. I walked to/from the city along the banks of the river twice. Good facilities very nearby. I shopped at supermarket, had a hair cut, bought a present all within 50m of the Watson. Car parking near the hotel is a game of chance.

Nicolas (9/5): Stayed for Gather Round family of 4 - Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was spacious with a small kitchen. Lovely neighbourhood with lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Easy bus ride to Adelaide CBD.
Courtney (10/5): A comfortable stay during Gather Round - We stay here often when visiting Adelaide. A comfortable stable for our family of 4 All the need is some curtains over the sheer block out blinds!

Timothy (2/5): Fire Alarms, Flight Path, missing cupboard doors, over priced. Good Shower. - The shower was good The view was good Fire alarm at 1:30am ... mass evacuation with no staff to assist or communicate. Was told by other residents that this is a regular occurrence. Panels missing from cupboards - living room and bedroom. Very hot during day, even with aircon on full. Under flight path Rooms expensive for size and quality. Can get much more for your money. Would not recommend, or ever stay here again.
Geraldine (5/5): Over priced - We had stayed on another occasion and it was good, however now it appears to be predominately student accommodation, which is fine but the price was far from student price. Was old and tired, chipped paint in room. No basic items you could expect like biscuits or tea bags replenished. No change of towels etc.

Melissa (6/5): Not worth $400 per night. Disappointing. - Lovely pool. River walk outside of property. Expected more for $400 per night. Arrived to balcony room that had no view except for opaque glass surround. Smelt of cigarette smoke in hall way and tiles in kitchenette area were sticky to walk on. Change to room on 6th floor - cleaner but no balcony and view from tiny window was mainly into other peoples apartments. Not private at all. I was expecting a great stay but it was disappointing overall. Thank goodness Staff were friendly.

Found exit required swipe card but no signage to indicate and had to use next exit. Then no obvious muster site and no staff around as only one on evenings. Identified signage in room not current and drew staff who thanked me for it. Hope gets sorted.

The pool & gym were great too. I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment, and one of the beds was awful. full of springs, which hurt my back and was difficult to fall asleep on. Where the bed in the other room was much more comfortable. I feel all the mattresses should be the same. Also the curtains are the furthest thing from blackout. If you wish to sleep past 6:30am without an eye-mask perhaps stay elsewhere

Also an easy drive to the city. 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and with everything you need for a longer stay. Pool & giant sized chess board was great for the kids. Nothing, it was great.

Ann (8/5): COMFORTABLE WELL EQUIPED SPACE WITH CHEERFUL STAFF - We've stayed at the Watson a number of times because the location suits our needs. But just as importantly, we can find a comfortable two bedroom apartment in a building that also has a swimming pool. Perfect for summer holidays. There isn't much space to get around the bed to the wardrobe in the second bedroom.

Kate (9/5): Fabulous location, really great facilities and accomodation, will definitely go back again. - Amazing location for both local amenities (Woolworths, cafes/restaurants) and proximity to Adelaide City. Lovely walk down Melbourne Street to get to the Adelaide Oval and the city, or a Bus stop with great regular service on your doorstep. Amazing 25m lap pool and gym, with lovely seating areas and umbrellas around pool area to relax. The studio apartment itself was ideal, with a central kitchen/lounge area and bedrooms either side. Great aircon to keep cool, and a lovely balcony to sit out. Great shower and washing machine/drier. Really friendly and helpful staff on reception. Kitchen equipment was a bit sparse but we got by no problem. Could have done with a few pegs to keep things on the clothes drier when the wind got up out on the balcony!

Tina (8/5): Great family facility. - Great two bedroom apartment and easy location for driving into the city. The blinds on the lovely large window are basically ineffective, hardly blocked any light at all. Pillows were too long and hard but is person preference really.
Tim (3/5): Extremely overpriced the photos on booking.com are old the hotel is very run down. - Location was good close too Supercars track Non restaurant at the hotel only a cafe with very restricted opening hours. I was informed by the hotel not to use booking.com as the prices are way too high instead just book direct. Poor wifi. Ac in the room was not working very good and I asked to get it fixed and there response was those rooms never work very good. The photos on booking.com are very old and the hotel looks very run down since the photos were taken.

Scott (6/5): Staff were very helpful on check in. - Location was good, easy to get to the property. The bathroom floor was dirty especially in the corners around the shower. The curtains didn’t block the light out in the bedroom so at 6am it was so bright, so we didn’t sleep too good. The main tv was always cutting out while trying to watch a movie, the internet was really poor and inconsistent.

Dilani (10/5): We stayed 5 nights and it was amazing - Very good environment and great staff. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean. I love everything I love everything. We got dishwasher,little kitchen and they clean every day.

Space for a family Next to a supermarket Gym was handy Free parking without a 2 hour limit was in very very short supply. The unit had 2 down lights covering the kitchen/living/dining and relied on lamps. That meant it was dark cooking in the evening. 2 ' mroom' studio unit was compact. I prefer a 2 bedroom so there are separate rooms. Washing machine would have been handy.

T5356VKbarbarah (8/5): Great location. - Stayed for 2 nights in a studio suite. The room was on the 8th floor. The room consisted of a kitchenette, very comfy couch, 2 seater table and very comfy bed. The bathroom consisted of a large shower with very small shower head. The towels were large which for me is always a plus. The tiles in the shower and around the bathroom could do with a good scrub but overall the bathroom was very clean. The kitchenette has a coffee maker, stove top and a small fridge which had plenty of room in it. There was only one window in the room which could’ve done with a privacy blind so you could leave the blockout blind fully up during the day. Our room overlooked many balconies in the side arm of the building. A big plus was the ability to chrome cast. Undercover parking and outdoor parking available. This hotel is in a great location. We would stay here again.

Ally (1/5): Won’t be back. - Great location, good overall amenities e.g Pool, Cafe downstairs Was not clean, taps didn’t work in any sink, they just spat out water randomly. Bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and had to be wedged open. Could hardly walk around the bed. Living room didn’t have block out blinds like the bedrooms so during the day it became a hot box with the sun. The room advertised did not match the room I was given.
Kaye (6/5): - This was our second stay. Unfortunately I did notice that there were areas in the too. That were not cleaned as they should. I found long black hairs on the counters in the kitchen which was not pleasant when I was needing to cook .i had to wipe over everything and there were sine areas which were not clean. The shower had mould on several area on the tiles . A spray of exit mould and a good scrub would have had this looking great . The property is lovely but these things make it disappointing

Karen (9/5): - It was self-contained, so I could make meals if I wanted, and it had a dishwasher. The apartment had a lovely view across to the hills. The bed was very comfortable and I had access to all the hotel facilities. There is paid and unpaid parking.
