Guest Reviews
- Sergio (7/5): -
- Fátima (1/5): Not good. - The staff very polite. Very poor, horrible experience!
The facilities are awful, the bathroom is so bad and old.
Very expensive compared with the place.
Doesn’t worth it.
- bugio (6/5): - Funcionários muito simpáticos
- Jean (6/5): -
- Jiao (1/5): -
- Yuri Jorge Dos Santos (6/5): -
- Florencio Ernesto (8/5): Wonderful ! - Very simple. Some member of stuff are rude!
- Nsimba (10/5): - Very Good hotel I recommended, the area is with easy access to the airport and more from: Nsimba.
- George (6/5): - A friend and I had an unscheduled longer than expected stop over in Luanda and decided to book a hotel room rather than brave quite a few hours in Luanda’s dreary international airport.
The hotel is behind a tall wall and barbed wire, which gave us an indication of safety concerns in that part of town.
The staff were friendly and helpful when we checked in. It was late and we wanted something to eat. The only option options were very basic sandwiches prepared by the receptionist and these were rather costly for what they were, so we opted to brave the streets and go in search of a local restaurant. We were escorted to the restaurant by the hotel’s security man, which was nice.
We were to leave in the middle of the night, so I cannot comment on the breakfast served. The room was small, but clean. The furniture is dated and the whole hotel could do with an upgrade, but if you are looking for a place to crash for a day or two, this hotel might be an option.
There are lots of street workers in the area, so be aware when going out.
It is handy if you want to stay close to the airport, as it is a short 10 minute drive away.
- Amit (10/5): - Clean and quiet
- Jeremiah (6/5): Stay was convenient for brief overnight stay, and also relatively cheap. - Flexibility of not paying upfront using credit card. Check in was smooth and Visa card was accepted. Breakfast though time was early enough for our departure could do with more variety. Availability of Wi-Fi was food. One of the staff members could not speak English. Being an international hotel it would be nice for porter to also speak english.
- Belinda (7/5): Good -
- Thomas (5/5): Passable -
- Saifeddine (8/5): Very good -
- Rodrigo (1/5): Never coming back ever again! - Honestly nothing.
Was a horrendous experience. They state themselves as an Hotel, but the local authority certificate is as a pension. The reception guy didn’t know at all how to revive and deal with guests. The person was not able to do conversion rates, didn’t know how to operate the atm machine and and super super rude and racist. The first thing he asked was for passports because of our skin color, but he was wrong. All of us were Angolans with Angolan citizenship.
Properties like this shouldn’t be in booking.
Worts experience ever.
- Matt (7/5): Good -
- Lanna (5/5): It’s ok for a layover night - The staffs were nice :) The property is a bit outdated.
- Chandramouli (6/5): - Mold AC not cooling enough and WiFi not working
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room was very hot the air condition doesn’t work.
The bathroom need more work

- Jozef (7/5): Good -
- Wissem (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Was a pleasure to stay there and the staff were excellent. The hotel was clean and adequate for requirements. Breakfast was limited but satisfying.
- Tarek (5/5): Passable - .. ..
- Mario (8/5): Pleasant location, quiet and would recommend! - I loved the breakfast, for this price point it’s pretty well prepared, and the facilities and room was clean. The body wash in the room’s bathroom was empty and the shampoo was getting close…
- Ashishkumar (6/5): Pleasant - satf was friendly celanesss and wifi not god
- Roberto (6/5): Pleasant - WiFi was really bad. Couldn't remain connected for more than 3 mins. Detergents (shower gel, shampoo) could be better
- Mamadou (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (8/5): best place to stay - very friendly staff, great help with translating and helped me with my journey to Malanje
- Stuart (8/5): Well recommended - This a reasonably priced hotel for Luanda. The rooms were basic but provided all you would expect in a mid class hotel. Clean, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms. The staff were exceptional in accommodating our early breakfast requirement and arranging a value evening meal and airport taxi.
All the negatives referred to in other reviews had been resolved. Highly recommended. A bit of noise from revelers in the street in the night. No real alternative restaurants close by.
- Takalani (5/5): Passable -
- S (5/5): Passable - Friendly staff. Noisy
- Qiao (8/5): Very good - Quite central, newly renovated. Qiuet place, clean rooms, clean sheets, big shower and safe. The breakfast could have been more extensive for the price of the room, but quite ok. And very tasty.
- Ludo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jb (6/5): This place is overpriced considering the poverty of this country. Says 3 *, more like 1* - Minimal breakfast, though I probably could have asked for something cooked. The staff were pleasant and did attend to anything I wanted really. No bar, no tea or coffee in the rooms. They had a few cans of lager but not much choice.
- José (7/5): excellent value for the money - very well located, very nice staff and good facilities some cockroaches saw but with some care they can control the problem
- Kh19599 (10/5): Exceptional - Pleasant staff. Very helpful, welcoming and accomodating. Clean and comfortable stablishment. Great location, close to everything.
- Piero (1/5): Is not worth even half of the paid amount! - Just the personnel was kind. The location is not central, no decent restaurants nearby. The hotel is very poor and does not deserve even 2 stars. Breakfast minimal! Does not even worth half of the amount. And rates at the reception are just half of the paid amount in Booking.com. A shame! And not honest. I don't really understand how they can call themselves a "Boutique Hotel".
- Sofia (3/5): It was tolerable for few hours. - Responsiveness on the Booking.com messaging. 1- location: there was a lot of noise outside
2- there was a ironed cockroach at the bed sheets;
3- they had no phone to call the reception;
4- the Wi-Fi is only provided by request;
5- they damaged my trolley and didn’t admit.
- Alfonso (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ravi (7/5): Good -
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No staff .no value for money .
No good location.
Not trustworthy
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Mini refrigerador vacio, al momento de la llegada no habia nadie en recepcion, no habia telefono en la habitacion.
- Peter Enga (10/5): A pleasant surprise at Luanda - Inn Luanda was a pleasant surprise in Luanda city.
I felt like I was at home.
The owner is very nice and accessible.
The Hotel is quite new, comfortable, wi fi works good.
They have the hotel very clean and they also serve meals, so when you came back at the evening you don´t have to leave the hotel to eat.
I have stayed in severel hotels in Luanda but this hotel is by far the best.
Thank you to the owner and to the staf who made my stay wonderfull.
- Gregg (10/5): Review- Inn Luanda - The Inn Luanda is an excellent hotel with modern, spotless rooms and a very helpful and courteous staff. The hotel manager, Assif, speaks perfect English and is very accommodating. He assisted me with travel arrangements and city information. I highly recommend this hotel.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice, contemporary hotel in Luanda. - Two night stay at Inn Luanda. Pleasantly surprised at the contemporary furnishings and overall feel of cleanliness. Comfortable bedding and clean bathroom. The internet worked great and there is a fine but small selection of channels on the TV. The air-conditioning worked great. The staff and owners are very professional and efficient. The restaurant staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for dinner, even when we came in late. We felt safe with the guard at the front gate. He even walked us to our taxi when we left. Although this hotel is located in a busy neighborhood, the hotel was quiet and comfortable.
- Usman (8/5): A decent place to stay in Luanda city - Small hotel managed by friendly staff who are very helpful and speak english fluently.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not worth it - Rude owner, meager breakfast, shower head and towel rack falling off the wall. For US$260? Never again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away from this hotel - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Luanda is a very dangerous place and one needs a taxi to get around. However, this hotel does not offer help with getting a taxi to the hotel (they do not have a telephone and does not offer any taxi service). Moreover, most taxi drivers in Luanda do not know the hotel and do not recognise the address of the hotel. This means that it is almost impossible to get back to the hotel by taxi (and being lost in a taxi that drives around for hours in Luanda, in particular when it is dark outside, is not without danger). The area of Luanda that the hotel is located in is one of the more dangerous parts of town (e.g. the two small shops/supermarkets next door to the hotel have locks on the door and an armed guard). The hotel staff is unfriendly and most of them do not speak English.
I would recommend people coming to Luanda to stay more downtown - maybe the price will be higher but it will be more safe.
