- pass_d_duchy (6/5): Just enough for a short stay - Need a nearby place to stay coz my friend and I were watching a gig at 12 Monkeys Estancia. This is just walking distance to Estancia, this place is inside a gated community so it was safe walking around and leaving the car at the hotel. DOWNSIDE is, we didn't know that the gate fronting Estancia would close and that there is no pedestrian gate :( We had to walk all the way to Shaw blvd to get to the main entrance. Would still recommend this place if you need a budget hotel to stay when you're in the area of Estancia. Rooms are just right, cold aircon, TV, cable, small space for your things.... CR is a bit dated but clean and has hot and cold shower. Just right if you just need a place to stay and take a shower.

- yenjilt (2/5): no thanks - somewhat outdated but the location isn't good at all too... so much outside open cooking next door by locals that smoke constantly comes up into the room. The guy has a small eatery and fries up pork and such all day long. There is also a guard and check point you have to stop for when entering. A few times our grab car was turned back. It was a nightmare we had to walk al ong way in the hot boiling sun ouside the gate and book. One of the female staff was also rude to use for no reason but we didn't report it. Other hotels in the area we had a better experience.
- TimMinh (2/5): Avoid Studio 18 Residences - There are some serious problems with this hotel. Some are: It's old now and mattresses and air cond units are, according to the manager, 12 years old. Two of the three reception staff need to be trained properly and are somewhat moody and unprofessional. At night, there's always a cock roach invasion. You better place your toothbrush in your suitcase and zip it tight. Other guests also complained about this. Also, staff will listen to you but ofter won't take action, which kicks it up to the manager which often makes excuses. Another problem is it's in a gated neighborhood and at times securty won't allow Grab cars to enter! The address is listed as Ortigas Center business district but that's not really accurate. It's a long way from Ortigas. It's just in the very back corner. If you need to be in Ortigas don't book here, it's too far away. My advice is to look for something with less problems.

They care only about money - Outside hotel there was a place we can eat Everything they charge you extra. Taxi from hotel to airport we paid 489 local money. But for coming from airport they charged me 2000 local money. I was car sick due to their taxi rough driving. I arrive 12:00pm They said check in was 2pm. There was no place for me to sit down to rest any where. So I requested to check in. They charged me 825 local money. What a bad business!
- AnnaMayV (8/5): Basic Amenities, Great Location and Customer Service - Location is cental to the Pasig commercial area, the pricing is absolute value for money, and the people were awesome - friendly ladies behind the counter, quick service, courteous security and maintenance staff. Inside, the room looked and smelled clean. The only red flag was that there was a towel hanging at the back of the bathroom door which suggests the washroom may not have been thoroughly taken care of. The hand soap and shampoo dispensers also ran out within a few uses, which meant it was not replenished prior to our stay. The bed was large, very comfortable, and more than adequate beddings - blanket, pillows. The A/C unit was old fashioned but worked really well. The hallways were also clean and quiet, the lone elevator worked well and was fast, too. My daughter and I had a very comfortable stay and checkin / checkout was easy. This place is a good option if you need somewhere to stay in the general area.

Affordable, convenient, comfortable,clean, daily replenished towels, coffee, water and soap. Staff are very accommodating, was able to get discount for our PWD companion.
- aeshemi (10/5): A GOOD NIGHT’S SLEEP IN ORTIGAS CENTER. Great Value for the Money! - It was my first time staying here because I needed to be in Ortigas Center for 5 days because of a recent promotion. The place exceeded my expectations! We stayed at a 1-BR “mini-suite”. There was electric kettle, refrigerator, complementary bottled water and coffee. Wifi Internet inside the room was good. Upon checking-in, the room was cleaned and smelled good. The beds were extremely comfortable. I could not get myself to stay awake for 5 minutes in bed after my day at work! I really had a good night’s rest every day. All of the staff, from the receptionists to the housekeepers, were very friendly and accommodating. Even the guard was respectful and helpful to us. Parking seems limited however inside the village, but I didn’t bring a car. The location felt very safe and is pretty quiet, even at night time. Seemingly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ortigas in a gated community. I sometimes see security guards during my nightly walks. I really enjoyed my stayed here and would definitely be back again in my next visit to Ortigas Center! It’s really a great value for the money!
- Jessa (10/5): - I checked in just before midnight coz i reallt felt sick at the time and i couldnt drive home. I couldnt say anything much coz i only slept there up until 6 in the morning. But overall the room is big, 2 h20 bottles, bath kit, and sanitized slippers were provided and i slept well.
- CARL (2/5): Not Pleasant To Stay... - Address used in search is Ortigas Ctr but it’s inside San Antonio Village. Only found out after I paid and it’s non refundable! Otherwise I won’t use! Double bed looks like full size cuz I know very well the difference. AC unit sucks in our room, no AC in the hallway and no hot water shower! will not recommend this hotel due to luck of amenities and poor conditions! The only service they excel is getting be a Grab service to/from, but all the are sub par!

- m00nchildr0cks (6/5): Basic Condotel - We stayed here only for 2 days and 2 nights, thank God. Our stay was quite memorable but not in a good way. We booked our room via Agoda.com and requested for a room either on the 2nd or 3rd floor with a view but we got a 4th floor corner room with a view of the fire exit, great. I understand that requests are always subject to availabililty and cannot be guaranteed but come on, I felt little to no effort. The room is not bad for 2 people and it was comfortable enough. There's really nothing much to expect from this place I guess. There's just 1 pillow per person but room is equipped with basic stuff like hot pot, plates and cups, free coffee as well as slippers and toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush & toothpaste) and there's daily housekeeping. I'm not happy with wifi because it's extremely slow my phone's prepaid data subscription was way, way faster. There's very limited sky cable channels and channels go on and off. The room temperature keep changing on its own so it can get really warm at times. For the sake of fairness, check in and check out was a breeze and staff were very courteous and quick to respond especially when our in room safe wasn't working. We had a peaceful stay because it's inside a residential area and it's easy to get a Grab taxi but it's hard to say if we will consider staying here again in the future.
- Arnold (2/5): Not so good stay - We booked for a Deluxe Twin Room last Aug 26, 2017. We chose a more higher prized room at 2,004.00 expecting that it would be a better room with 2 double beds, when we arrived there were only 2 single beds. There were 5 of us so I complained to the staff and demand action. No manager on site, the staff said she texted the manager for appropriate action but until we checked out the next day, nothing has been done to correct the situation. We were all uncomfortable with the stay, very disappointed and unsatisfied. And another thing in the morning while we were still sleeping, a housekeeping staff just went into our room without letting us know and permission disturbing our sleep and surprising us, a somewhat lapse in security and safety. I would not come back again to stay in this hotel again. I wouldn't recommend it also. I suggest better find a much better hotel with much attentive and caring staff than this hotel, and also truthful on the rooms that they would provide. Paid for a Deluxe Twin room supposed to be with two double beds as described but got two single bedded room instead and no compensatory nor corrective action was made. I would never book for a room from this hotel again as their descriptions were deceiving. Charged to experience.
- arnoldv278 (2/5): A night of stay: not so good - Bad experience here, booked for a room with Twin Beds but when we arrived the room had single beds.When we complained about it, the manager was not around and the staff in the hotel cannot decide on what to do. The staff told us that they texted the manager but got no response and action on what to do.We asked the extra bed to be waived because we paid a more expensive deluxe room which supposed to have 2 twin beds in their advertisement but it was not complied with. I won't recommended this nor come back for another stay as their advertisement are not reliable.Better stay in another than come back here. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Additionally in the middle of our sleep there's someone from housekeeping who tryied to come into our room without us knowing and permission. We were surprized and we suddenly woke up from our sleep. Quite disturbing. Better stay in other hotels than here.

- Steve (8/5): Great Value, Great Location, Comfortable Stay - This was the second time I have stayed at Studio 18. It is located close to major shopping and restaurants, not quite walking distance, but a short taxi ride. The location is Super Safe, being in a very good neighborhood, with its own guards on the gates and its own fire department. The only down side I would mention is that finding the gates, and the roads in the general vicinity, are a little confusing, but the hotel at least provides a map you can give to your taxi driver. The presentation of the hotel is that of a modest 2 star facility, but the rooms are in satisfactory condition, and things in the rooms, such as beds, tv, air con, closet space, bath room, are all fairly new and well maintained. The hotel staff is very accommodating, and available throughout the day and evening. Probably the best thing I can say is that this hotel is a very good value for its location, and will afford a practical visitor with comfort, quiet, and an overall pleasant stay.
- haduoken (10/5): Amazeballs! - We went to this hotel 4/18. Room is spacious and very comfy bed. I will never forget the "fried rice" cooked and prepared for us. It is very tasty and garlicky. Usherette is very knowledgeable and friendly. Also the price for this hotel is BUDGET-FRIENDLY! Location is near SM Megamall and Starmall. btw, have i mentioned they have very fast WIFI.. Two negatives are: -Local TV Channels only. -Aircon temp. changes from time to time..
- Vanessa (6/5): OK for short stay - Overall, the experience was OK. I arrived late at night and it was difficult to find the place. Nothing around to eat because it is a residential area. The place is litterally 5 minutes away from a large avenue so it is possible to find eating options once you can see where you are in daylight. The room was OK, well furnished, maybe too much for the space. It looked crawded. Air con was quite noisy. Bed was decent and clean (but do not look under it). Cable TV had only a few channels. Acceptable internet. Basic bathroom but good shower. Breakfast: nice to have some options in the building althought he service starts late (7.30, apparently with some flexibility upon request). The quality of the food is average though. It is a good value for many, but I would not stay there for long stays.

- Gerry (8/5): Comfortable place - I would call this more of a managed residence than a hotel. Though the place was somewhat dated, it still is a comfortable place to get needed time to rest for the night. Access is a bit cumbersome, but, anyone would feel safe with everyone coming and out of the village where the hotel was located at is checked. One way in and the only way out, after 10 pm. And, the price is reasonable. It would be nice if an iron/ironing board, and hair drier is available at no extra charge.

The location is near many restaurants, Japanese, American, Korean and Philippines and walking distance to mall. The hotel is in a village, but close proximity to public transportation.

The only concern I have is the front desk rep during morning shift, she's kind of snobbish- no good mornings at all or something. It would be really nice if she would smile a little and talk more rather than looking at her PC all the time.
- GloriaT1243 (6/5): Clean and nice environment... - Location is close to the business area however, since it is within a subdivision, very hard to get a taxi. Hotel is clean, spacious, with some basic amenities provided. My 2nd night was not quite pleasant because the elevators was down and had to use the stairs, good thing I requested for a lower floor. The receptionist on duty during graveyard shift was not friendly and even gave me wrong direction.

- crankymole (8/5): Functional - My company booked rooms here for stranded employees -- me included -- during a typhoon. The room was on the small side, but clean and adequate for me. Wifi as decent as well, considering there was a typhoon. There's nothing spectacular about this hotel but it serves its purpose well, which is to be a decent crash pad near the office. The hotel itself is inside a gated community, so it's in a quiet and secure place. But it's also just a 5-minute walk from Ortigas Center.

The hotel is located walking distance to both cousin and shopping also a pokestop was available from my room 😉. Breakfast was also good and I recommend it.
- kristinekarena (10/5): Excellent Stay!! - I liked this hotel as it signifies simplicity yet elegant. I loved the spacious room, comfortable bed and a good tv cable signal. I loved the readily available utensils such as tea cups, plates and forks & spoons. What I found interesting was the cabinets. There are a lot of cabinets for you to keep your things. It looked like a mini condo. Best to used for family outings and other group outings. And what was best on the hotel?... The friendly and approachable hotel personnel.
- c00ljim (10/5): Clean, fresh, open - Nestled in a nice, safe, local neighborhood is Pasig... this is the place you want to go to be near everything you need. Great hotel, great service, great location, great hotel deals. At one time, I thought I'd been overcharged for the room and told the manager who gladly refunded the difference. Later, I found I was mistaken. I apologized and returned the cash and they were very understanding. Nice!
- Jan (4/5): Not recommended - Hotel itself is ok. Comfortable beds. There is no service at all. Wouldn't even call taxi. The bad part about the outside area is that it's extremely hard to find after 10 pm cause most of the streets close the gates so you can't enter.One night was enough. Will not stay again.
- Globe Trotter (8/5): Excellent Value for Money - This is a very nice hotel for its star rating, probably deserves an extra star. It is in a safe and secure gated village. Convenient to Malls and Restaurants, staff very friendly and helpful. Inside the village are some rather nice, cheap local eateries too that are quite ok.

It certainly far exceeds expectations considering the category it is listed under. The staff are mostly very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and large. It is very convenient for surrounding shopping malls and restaurants and has a nice roof deck for breakfasts. It is not the Ritz, but it is far from a dump small . The only criticism may be that the young male cleaning staff tend to use the rooms as their group hangouts lounging on the guest beds in their dirty work clothes watching TV and using their mobile devices making for slow Internet issues on the local access point if they in a nearby room to you. If they were to sort this I would have made it 5 out of 5 and not 4 out of 5 for its category of hotel.
- MingYangEnglish (10/5): Clean and Comfortable Budget Lodging - For approximately $35 US per night, I was lodged in a small, one bedroom apartment which was equipped with a sitting room with sofa and modern, colour TV with cable, complimentary WiFi throughout, a sofa, kitchen with refrigerator and microwave oven and a comfortable double bed. The bathroom was clean and in good repair. An added bonus is a landline phone providing free local calls. I had a good stay here. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The location is on a one way street inside a city village (barangay) and is next to impossible for taxi drivers to find unless they have a GPS. Unless taxis subscribe to the Grab service, which is an app which can be downloaded for free but can only be accessed with a WiFi connection, they will not have a GPS and will likely decline to take your fare. The location is about a fifteen minute walk to the SM Mega Mall but even with a map, the route takes some getting used to so a Grab taxi is your best option. The current fee is 40 pesos (about $1 US) above the metered rate but with the bargain price of the Studio 18, I had not difficulty in paying the extra money for the Grab taxi. The Studio 18 is not a fancy hotel. Furnishings are on par with a clean roadside motel but for half the price of budget hotels in this part of Manila, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

- RafiaM (8/5): Clean Safe Place - I am already familiar with the village where this hotel is located, and it was a pleasant surprise to know there was a fully serviced apartment in it. When we had a family trip this was one of the places I suggested. It got a good thumbs up from everyone when we finally got to stay there for a couple of days. They can be strict about the curfew and number of people in the room. We were 3 in the room. On our last day we wanted to invite another family member to stay for the night and was willing to pay the extra person charge, but apparently even if there was still enough room for one more, they wouldn't allow it. But I guess I can understand where they coming from. They are very clean. With free wifi, daily replenish of coffee and toiletries. Accessibility is also good to transport and malls and the Ortigas Business District. You can have outside food delivered but you must pick them up from the lobby as they won't allow the delivery to go up.
- oyemaria (6/5): if you're on a budget, it's acceptable.. - stayed here on November 2015 location is very accessible to transportation, and commercial establishments in Ortigas Business Center and is inside a private secured small residential village. Our room (standard) was clean and orderly, basic toiletries provided (i loved the scent of their shower gel). Free wifi inside our room was provided, and had a good signal. However, they should have a regular pest control as the room had little roaches. you'll lose confidence to leave food items on the table.. we had no mini fridge inside.. Also, my friend had a little problem staying asleep in the morning - there was a rooster crowing at early dawn and can go non-stop all morning...the hotel couldn't do anything about it as it belonged to a resident in the village. Also, they don't have round electric sockets so you'll need to bring your own adaptor. They won't provide it for free if you ask for one. Breakfast isn't included so you'll either eat outside or avail their breakfast for sale which you can have in your room or dine in their roof deck. Lastly, upon check out, i found out that we almost paid in excess. They failed to see in their records that i already paid a deposit for one night and yet they still asked my friend to pay for our entire stay. Overall, if you won't be bothered by the roaches, rooster crowing non-stop, then i guess this budget hotel will be good for you.

- Jess (10/5): Great place for a great price - This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was clean and fresh every time we return from our touring. They had a great shower that gave good pressure and consistent temperature, also they gave you free soap and shampoo. Than there was the location, with it being so close to so many venues, it was easy to get great meals relatively easy. Also, now they're serving breakfast, so you don't have to hurry and rush of the building before you're ready.

The front desk was very responsive to my needs. Linens and towels were clean and fresh every day, and the a/c worked great. I was very satisfied with this hotel and would absolutely stay again.

- steve (8/5): Great Budget Hotel in Pasig City - we spent 2 nights here while on business in Manila. hotel is located inside a walled gated subdivision, very, very safe, with strict security guards on the gate 24 hrs. hotel is a little difficult to find, even for taxi drivers, so be sure to carry the little map provided by hotel. rooms are small but well appointed, all that any business visitor would need. clean, no odor, all appointments are new. staff provides as much free bottled water, towels, free coffee, and toilet tissue that you need. convenience store within easy walking distance. staff on call 24 hrs. free wifi, but we didn't use it. we'll be sure to stay there again when in Pasig.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Only complaint was the internet which was not working most of the time we were there. But do understand that this was not the fault of the hotel as the problem was with the provider. The only other challenge was most of the gates going into the gated community (which by the way was great for our sense of security) were closed by 11 pm which meant a longer walk from anywhere in Ortigas to the only 2 24-hour gates.
- Hubert (6/5): Located in a maze, overall worth the money paid. - Hotel located in a residential area, which is a big area with 3~4 gate for entry, but after 11pm, only 1 gate open, and you need to walk all the way around the area to find the only open gate, very painful. Hotel is in average condition, size is good, air con is good, water is hot, just a bit of smell in the toilet, but overall acceptable..
- Vaishnavi (10/5): Perfect location for Mt.Pinatubo tour plan - Our stay here was very comfortable and satisfactory. Pro - It is located in a very convenient area, very close megamall and mainly to the pickup point (El Pueblo Mc Donald's) for Mt.Pinatubo trip we arranged through tripinas. Very helpful reception staff who arranged for cab for us in the middle of the night and guided us through the local areas. Room was spacious and self contained. Con - I am sure this is no big deal but after a 3 hrs flight and 1 hour in the traffic I din't find it very pleasant when the helper made us carry all the 4 bags while he walked bare handed ahead, to show us the room. He could have helped a bit.
- ADBell (6/5): Pleasant residential neighbourhood - This is a reasonable choice if it is in the specific part of town you want to be. However finding it seems to be a challenge for some taxi drivers. Once there you will find it is a pleasant and welcoming place, though I felt the room was a bit cramped considering the price, and this in spite of the upgrade that I received.

- Verified traveler (8/5): A place to stay again. - My sister and friends stayed recently at the Studio 18 residences and were delighted with the same. Staff were helpful and the rooms very comfortable. The location was just right as they needed to access the sports complex nearby. The only drawback was the WiFi connection that was very poor in the rooms.
