- Dallin (8/5): - Both day and evening staff were awesome! We had one issue with the bathroom fan making a loud squealing noise and they didnt even hisatate to move us (i guess maintenance was gone by the time we called) they were super friendly and just awesome.
- Trevynn (2/5): - Our stay was disappointing. Upon arrival on 10/8, the front desk staff was unwelcoming and rude. The first room we were given had not been cleaned, with furniture stacked on beds and tables. After being moved, the second room was only slightly cleaner. There were just two towels provided, and staff were unhelpful when asked for more. On 10/11, the same employee was rude to my wife over a simple request for a paper plate. I travel often, and this was one of the least pleasant hotel experiences I’ve had.
- Alainie (6/5): - They were very kind to us at check in and let us get in our room a little early. However, the room we got put in wasn't the same quality we're used to at Holiday Inn rooms. The carpet had quite a few burn marks which wasn't the end of the world, but what i didn't like was the ottoman in the room was very stained and dirty looking. I also still haven't received my $100 deposit back after 2 weeks.
- Faith (4/5): - My family and I came to Utah to visit relatives and chose this hotel as it was close to them. Our room had 2 queen beds so we could fit 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. One of the bed frames was broken so the bed leaned. The TV never turned on to the channels to watch anything. Had to go to the TV itself and flip thru the input/source to get it to actual TV channels. We were told housekeeping was supposed to come daily to clean rooms. They never came once and we've seen them clean other rooms on our floor. They also left empty shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the bathroom so we couldn't properly clean ourselves in the shower. Breakfast food is average. The most noteworthy food was the pancake making machine. The pool at the hotel is indoors but the water in the pool was freezing. The spa was decent. Parking was good and we could always find a spot even late in the evening. Staff was always friendly during our stay.

There were (x2) toenail clippings on the side of the bed facing the window in my room #319 that I stepped on.. absolutely disgusting, and they were sharp and giant. Beer in the microwave?? And bottle caps on top of it. Overall room cleanliness was about a 5.5/10.

- Martin (4/5): - The thermostat quit working my first night here (stayed 2 nights). No maintenance person on site at night so they said they would address it in the morning. No A/C overnight. Thank goodness it was cool outside. Poor maintenance guy (a hard worker) spent about a hour and a half trying to fix it the next day—at the insistence of the front desk—but, could not fix it. So, they decided (in their infinite wisdom) that I should move to a different room. A bit of a pain, but I survived it. In the first room, one light didn’t work—no light bulb! There are 2 ice machines on-site. One did not work at all, the other dispensed a few cubes before—no more. I’m not sure why Holiday Inn wants their name associated with this place.

- Amber (2/5): - I paid $123 a month in advance with a remaining balance of $283 to pay for a 2-3 night stay. We got in around 11:30pm and they told me my total was $475. I showed them my payment made of $123 but, they stated they never received payment but had my reservation. I told them to charge me the full amount and I’d dispute the $123 just to get into a room as I had 2 kids with me. We walked into our room with a molded apple, greasy counters, beds that were stripped, bathroom was filthy. She said we would either need to leave or wait for the room to be cleaned as they were full. At that point we wanted morning to do with the place. I demanded a full refund and had to find another hotel.

The charges still haven’t been refunded. Very unprofessional and frustrating experience — be careful when staying here.

Also there was a screeching noise in the room that made it hard to sleep. When checking in, the receptionist was fine but felt kind of rude. The day shift attendant was more accommodating. She helped us with the issues in our room by changing rooms. The second room was better.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Aweful stay - Aweful, the housekeepers were extremely snobby, they didnt offer to clean our room or give us extra towels and when i asked for extra i was told rudely to go ask the front desk although the housekeeper clearly had a stack of towels with them, so i went to ask the front desk and was told they didnt have any, beds were horrible couldnt sleep all night, the pool water smelled soooooo bad! The hot tub was turning green. It was disgusting

My adult daughter went inside and locked the door and I could enter without a key card just by turning the handle…and she locked it inside!! Yikes. The next room they moved us to had a “screaming” toilet sound when we entered the room. Flushing it made it stop. It was so hot but we had to keep turning off the air conditioner because it also loudly squealed.

- Brittany (4/5): - The check in process took forever and front desk staff was unapologetic. Line out of the lobby for people checking in at 9:00 pm. Booked this hotel through third party Expedia. On our last day, a charge was placed on the card for the full price of the room. Went to the front desk, unable to help because no manager on duty. Said that she would email manager about the charge. At this time no contact or resolve of the charge.
- Shiloh (2/5): - I got 2 rooms for 2 night's. My TV didnt work, when i went to the front desk she waant able to help me, i asked for maintenance she said they were not on duty, i asked for a manager was told the manager didnt work on site. So i sat in my room watching the tv buffer all night. The next morning when i left i asked if they wouid check the tv when they went in to clean they said yes no problem. Well when I returned that night ny room hadn't been touched. The bed wasnt made. My TV still didnt work, and i had no clean towels or wash cloths. My parents who were in the other room, went to the front desk to get more towels so that they couod shower were told that they were out ot towels. How does a hotel run out of towels?? So they also had to use the dirty towels sitting in the floor, that we thought wouid be replaced when they cleaned. I e mailed the manager asking for a refund, when the manager reaponded she apologized and said i wouid see a $50 refund on my card. I wouid have been more content if she would have split the bill in half, because i did receive a service. But i will not book at a holiday inn again. I always thought you couldn't go wrong with abholiday inn, but i stand to be correct.

- Donna (4/5): - We arrived at the hotel at 4:30 only to be told we had to wait for a room to be cleaned even though check in was at 3pm. Your room will only be cleaned if you're on the "list" to be cleaned. We stayed 3 nights and our bed was never made, our trash was never emptied and we ran out of toilet paper. We only got toilet paper and clean towels because my husband tracked down one of the cleaning ladies in the hallway. The worst part of all of this was that the people at the front desk didn't seem to care at all or wish to fix any of the issues. With all of the other hotels in the area, we'll be choosing another place to stay next time we're in SLC.

The continental breakfast needs some optimizing for more food selections and better service. However the coffee was the best I’ve ever had!

- Natalie (8/5): - Lovely hotel and lovely spacious rooms. The pool and gym were good. Check in was smooth and staff professional and friendly. The only down side was that the breakfast was a bit limited. We had arrived 40 mins before breakfast ended and no bagels, muffins, pastries or waffles and pancake machine was broken. However, there were eggs and bacon.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not a good hotel - Disappointing in every aspect. The room was dirty and not clean. The ding in the bathroom was extremely slow drain. They did not fill up the shower gel, and the device holding the soaps was broken. Awful view and noisy. The breakfast was very disappointing as well. Slow to keep stocked. No bagels, only super cheap white bread. Little fruit options and no yogurt. Pancake machine only cooked one side of the pancakes. Eggs constantly out. Staff are not the friendliest. Asked for 1 hour late checkout but they would only give 1/2 hour and still knocked on the door (even before regular check out) early and tried to enter even though we had the do not disturb sign. Honestly, lower level hotels would be better. Will never stay again and probably will start looking at other hotel brand in the future.

When I called to maybe change room since my toddler needed to refrigerate cold milk the hotel was sold out of rooms. The receptionist was very nice especially with helping find an ice machine that was not broken since the one on our floor was.

Bathroom shower was dirty dust everywhere hair on the floor ice machine machines were all broken besides the fourth floor. Side doors were either out of order or missing handles really hot in the hallways.

The room we were placed in was right next to an exit and the walls were thin enough it woke us up several times during the night due to outside door slamming shut. Maybe consider a soft close for the door or some thin weather stripping to soften the noise.

Also no waterbottle fillers in the entire hotel, and the two water fountains they had barely worked.

They only offered to downgrade us and insisted our 3 children could sleep in the same bed, 2 teenage girls and a boy. The manager was very rude and ultimately asked us to leave. I was charged 3 different times by mistake. We went to a different, better hotel nearby.

- Justin (6/5): - The front desk was slow checking us in. The lobby was nice and cool but when we got to the third floor it was hot. Our room was probably 90 degrees when we got there. It took 6-7 hours to cool the room down enough to sleep. I went down to get a snack for my son and the lady at the front desk couldn't figure out how to sign in and said "come back in 30 minutes". I then asked her for towels (since the room only had 1 in it), regular coffee (since there was only decaf in the room) and body wash (since the bottle in the shower was empty. She wrote everything down and said she would have someone bring it up to the room. Nobody ever came so I went back down to the desk hoping to find someone else to help me. A different lady was there and she was able to sell me a snack and I asked her for the supplies. She went around the corner and grabbed everything in less than a minute. The original lady showed up and grabbed her list that she wrote for me an hour earlier and said she forgot. When I got back to the room, we went to make the bed on the pull out sofa and there were no sheets for it. We called down and they said they'd bring it up. Thirty minutes passed so I went to the front desk to get them myself. All little things that normally wouldn't bother me individually but since they all happened in such a short time, I was really irritated. Don't think I'll be staying here again.

Should have read reviews first but don’t ever have to at holiday inns. Won’t stay here again and has me questioning ever staying at another holiday inn.
- Charles (2/5): - The room I booked they had over booked so I did not get the room I booked and the person checking me in didn’t know how to do a refund for the difference due to the room I ended up in was cheaper. The hallway on the floor I was on smelled like urine. The door in the bathroom leaked water out of it and soaked the floor in the bathroom. There was hair on the bed. The pool room was unbelievably hot. I was very disappointed with my stay.
- Patsy (4/5): Unpleasant stay won’t repeat - When we arrived we found only one set of towels and no hot water. Desk suggested we move rooms. At 10 PM that wasn’t an option. Breakfast was bad at beast. Only one type of dry bagel and white bread. By 9 AM no milk for limited cereal. No waffles. Only scrambles eggs and dry potatoes which ran out quickly. Coffee was amazing but only one machine worked and it broke down often. People at breakfast were frustrated. Only one of our room keys worked and then it too quit. Front desk couldn’t get computer to work so they told us to find a maid and get them to let us in. Heard several people say they wouldn’t be back. We won’t either. It’s a shame as we always thought Holiday Inn was above average place to stay.

Coffe pod machine is not convenient for my own product use, no milk supplied. Breakfast was ok, coffee machine and pancake machine was continually needing service. Pretty good value for money overall. The pool and hot tub were great.

- David (4/5): - Booked a suite and they put us in a regular room to begin with. Luckily they had a suite available so there was room for my family . Then the room was only stocked with two towels. No bedding for hide a bed and very little toilet paper. On top of that the shower did not have hot water. When I asked front desk for if there was a manager I could speak with? She said yes , went and spoke to another lady then came back saying that there’s not one available. Overall bad experience and will never stay at one of there properties again!

The room we got wasn’t fully clean with a dirty towel and a random lonely goldfish snack on the floor that did not belong to us. As always the stag was kind and gave us extra blankets and towels when requested. Although getting there before check in there were no play pins for baby so I doubt they have any. The breakfast was excellent as always!

- Benjamin (4/5): - First of all, I had to get a new key every day. For some reason, (and I didn’t have the key anywhere near my phone) the key didn’t work every day. On our last night, we returned to our room (that had a Do not disturb sign) to find that someone had gone into our room, taken all the towels and had gone through our stuff. We went to talk to the front desk, they claim it wasn’t housekeeping and that no one had gone into our room. Ok, if it’s not housekeeping, call the police because someone broke into our room! Their only piece of advise was to “tell corporate.” I am very disappointed that this hotel didn’t take our safety seriously and wouldn’t even acknowledge someone had gone into our room.

- Gregory and Teresa (4/5): You owe me a free stay! - No wash cloths empty shower accessories breakfast half hour late opening no coffee,butter,forks,knives,eggs ran out,juice machine malfunctioned got sprayed,walfle machine out of order. Breakfast help must have been absent. Assistant desk manager was clueless filling in. and turned lights on at 7:15, breakfast was scheduled for 6:30. Second day breakfast was a little better but the fancy push button coffee machine is a serious bottle neck! There were 4 or 5 people standing in line for coffee. The coffee machine requires close to 30 seconds to cycle for a single cup! They have two machines. Tuesday neither worked. Wednesday only one worked. Tuesday the assistant manager spent over 20 minutes after she arrived 45 minutes late on the phone trouble shooting the nonworking fancy coffee machine. Wednesday only one machine worked and it quit working due to clogged coffee grounds building up. I observed many very irritated customers seated in the dark. Many had to leave due to their schedules and no breakfast at 7:30. Wednesday the coffee machine quit working at 7:30 many people standing in line frustrated. Several just walked away pissed off. I made several cups and delivered them to disappointed customers just to be nice and change a lousy start to the day. The heated food,eggs,sausage and potatoes were very late being refilled if at all both days. The granola was brought out Tuesday only a quarter full. I observed two angry people at desk with room problems. Very clean how ever
- Dan (10/5): - Front desk staff was helpful and kind. I booked 2 rooms for 1 night. One of the room had a funny smell when I checked in. There was hair in the bath tub, toilet, and sink. Nothing major, just a slight mishaps. Beds are super comfy and relaxing. Will stay again
- George (4/5): No TV - The TV would not work. Your previous client had apparently disconnected cables to play video games and left not in intact. I had no idea. Told front desk the issue which for me was in evening upon returning to room from dinner. Went without remainder of my stay. Was told you would adjust my bill. Then girl next morning when checking out nothing could be done. Simply stated never stay again at your facility.
- Curt (2/5): - Our room was somehow booked for the day before we arrived. It was probably my fault. We showed up the day we had planned and they explained that the booked date was the day before. We paid for the "additional" night and requested a refund for the day before. They weren't booked up. I'd understand denying a refund if they were. I have yet to have this resolved, which I doubt it will be. The place was nice. The staff seemed underqualified. I won't be staying at this chain again.
