• Tim (6/5): Not the hotel it appears to be - Sunmoon appears to be a booking agency for other hotels. I was immediately walked a 1/2 mile, in the blazing heat to Viennes Hotel, which was a nice little hotel. So probably better to direct book Viennes. Had to wait 20 mins at Sunmoon for booking agent to show up. Pictures on Hotels.com are of the Viennes.

• Orlando (10/5): - We stayed at the Palma residence and it was really nicee. Staff was excellent. The room was serviced every day. The bed was a double bed put together to make a full but was comfortable. The shower stall was rather small but the water pressure was good. I would recommend the Palma Residence.

• Peter (6/5): Fräscht hotellrum nära Termini - Vi bokade det här hotellet eftersom det var nära vid hemresa från tågstationen Termini. Hotellet består av några få rum och hotellrummet var väldigt enkelt . Vi fick själva kontakta värden vid incheckning och fick vänta på att vi skulle få rummet för att checkas in. Rummet var väldigt lyhört och hade ingen utsikt alls då persiennerna inte gick att dra upp. Rummet var rent och fräscht överlag och badrummet var jättebra .
• patrick (10/5): Hidden Gem.- Great location, Safe, very clean! - This stay was part of our return trip back to the US. The SunMoon is a great deal. This time we had a room on the 6th floor that was really nice. Cold A/C, mini fridge and best of all...CLEAN!. It had a really cool elevator that we used to get to our room We just use it to sleep and clean up.The staff is very friendly and easy to deal with. There is also a little convenience store next door for water and drinks. It is the perfect location for getting back to the airport, train and to tour the city. With this location, you will not need a cab to get here from FCO. Just take train in, exit RIGHT out of terminal and walk a couple of blocks. We never felt unsafe walking to the hotel. There are a lot of people around ( welcome to Rome). What we liked the best is that the price is amazing ($37.00 + tax)/night. it was comfortable and we were able to walk everywhere. Great restaurants right next door. and super nice people. If you are not needing a "big"room and just want to have a great time I recommend SunMoon
• patrick (10/5): Best deal in Rome- Clean- Killer location! - Tis hotel is the best kept secret in Rome! It is a couple blocks off the Main train terminal in the city center. You can exit to the right and you are there in a 6 min walk. Don't worry about the walk with the suitcases. Everyone is doing it! When we arrived at the door, we were not sure that were in the right place because the door is kept locked. We hit the buzzer and they came right away. The manager "Simon" is is native english speaker so the checkin was simple. after paying the city tax ( in euros) 3.5 per person/day, he showed us to out room. It is a small room, newly updated and very clean with a mini-fridge. Ours had a historic ceiling that looked really great. They were not lying about this location, it was near everything. We were able to walk to all the big monuments with no issues ( except the repressive Aug heat!!!). The street that the hotel is on also has a few restaurants and are both good and very well priced. That made it nice as sometimes we just wanted a beer and some snacks. We also asked for blanket ( not typical in summer ) and Simon had it brought to our room with no issue. The location is right next to a lot of dining so there are options to choose from for coffee and tapas. Honestly we weren't sure what to expect for the price. We are so happy we chose this, We only sleep and shower there, and for that it is perfect for a singe person or a couple. We will defiantly choose SunMoon again. Inexpensive, CLEAN and killer location. Thanks Simon!

• REGINA EMILIA (10/5): otima escolha - O hotel Sun MOON para mim foi uma otima escolha, muito melhor do que eu esperava, ,muito perto da estaçao de trem ROMA TERMINI, onde tambem tinha a estaçao do metro. O hotel confortavel, limpo, proximo a restaurantes, mercado.

Ho prenotato per una tripla, a loro risultava una doppia e ho dovuto pagare la differenza. Pagamento all' arrivo. Posizione buona vicina a Temini e altre fermate metro e autobus. Camera pulita
• Verified traveler (4/5): - We were not happy with our stay. WiFi is not working. We have informed the frontdesk but nothing happened. We were not able to use WiFi during our stay. We were not able to use the key that was given to us for the front door to open so we can get in but we were able to use the key in the morning to go out. When we rung the door bell so the frontdesk can open us no one opened us. They have stated that they have 24 hours front desk. How come no one responded and opened the front door? We were lucky that another guests key worked so we were able to get in. The room should be non smoking but we smelled like someone smoked in the room when we came in.

• ely (2/5): - Esperienza pessima, pulizia non esiste , lenzuola con i buchi sporche e maleodoranti , letto matrimoniale con due materassi attaccati scomodo si cadeva sempre in mezzo ,stanza fredda nn si chiudono bene le finestre . Doccia con scarico otturato ... per fortuna stavamo fuori tutto il giorno! In azienda come Expedia dovrebbe escludere strutture di questo tipo. Molto scontenta

• LE (2/5): AVOID! Abusive staff! Personale abusivo! - Besides a room that looks out over a trashy yard, no breakfast on location and being in a scary area, the abusive staff makes SunMoon my worst hotel experience ever. Even though my name was on the door as a late check-in, Stefano kept telling me to give him my ref # and saying that they didn't have a record of it. He basically wouldn't let me have my room - at midnight on a Friday night! I frantically look for another hotel room for about 45 mins (with no map) in the sketchiest part of Rome, but nothing was free on Friday night. To say Stefano is rude is a massive understatement. He seemed to take pleasure in my suffering, was smiling, speaking to me like I was stupid for not understanding fast Italian, and kept ignoring my argument that I had ID that showed my name ON THE DOOR!. I was able to get another number from the check-in printout and that person ordered Stefano to admit me (now 1:00AM after an exhausting travel day!). Stefano angrily ripped the paper with my name off the window and swore at me in Italian. Apparently, this was thwarting his plan to watch me suffer. If I could sue this hotel, I would. I left the next morning, with little sleep due to the emotional distress and the owner tried to charge me for 4 nights even though he apologized for the staff and said it had been taken care of. There are a lot of complaints about the staff at this place, so the owner tacitly endorses it. Intentional infliction of emotional abuse is illegal. AVOID!!!

Foram dois dias sem solução até que disse que ia embora e os funcionários me levaram para outro hotel próximo. uma dor de cabeça que não recomendo a ninguém. os funcionários até foram atenciosos, mas não dá para ficar sem banho.

• ROSANA R (10/5): Exatamente o que queria, mais doque esperava... - Estive nesse hotel com minha familia e se voce e como nos, que dispensa luxo e glamour para poder gastar com museus, passeios e pizza voce encontrou o lugar certo, Um predio centenario e um elevador antigo , mas que funciona muito bem, um quarto muito limpo, silencioso, com ar condicionado, tv, wifi, frigobar e vista para a copa das arvores. Nao existe porteiro ou saguao, um funcionario simplesmente te entrega as chaves e voce entra e sai a hora que quiser. O desjejum e feito num bar a um quarteirao, capuchino, suco e um croisan delicioso, com um staff receptivo e bem educado, mas o ponto forte e mesmo a localizacao, atras da Igreja Sacre Coeur e estacao Termine , a maior de Roma e perto de varios monumentos turisticos, mercados bares e pubs. Uma palavra define este hotel , custo beneficio nota dez, Este hotel e exatamente o que eu estava procurando, desprender de luxo e gastar meu dinheiro com pizza, historia e sola de sapato, adoraaaaamos. So uma dica , nao espere por aquilo que voce nao pagou...pelo preco que paguei nao podia ser melhor, adorei minha estadia em Roma, lindo demais.

• Giuliana (8/5): Mini vacanza con la mamma - Avevo già soggiornato in questa struttura e l'ho scelta perchè mi ero trovata bene. Questa volta sono andata con mia madre, la nostra camera era al piano rialzato cioè: affittacamere Angelica, rimesso a posto contrariamente alle vecchie recensioni, non è umido ed è abbastaza curato, si può comunque migliorare con poco. Non mi sono lamentata perchè solitamente non lo faccio e mi adeguo ma ciò che mi domando è: " chi pulisce non si è accorto che il filo della doccia è rotto?...." a parte questo ho pulito un pochino la persiana perchè per aprirla mi sporcavo ....non la aprono mai? Insomma io e mia madre siamo state benone quindi ben venga pulirmi la persiana! Tornerò presto perchè ę comoda la posizione x i miei spostamenti.
• Kelly (6/5): Cheap price, convenient location, not worth it. - Check in was difficult since the address provided was for Sun/Moon, but there was no reception there and in fact my room was in a different property (Las Palmas) 500m away on a different street. There also is a 4€ night per person "city tax" that is not included in the Hotels.com price. The hotel made me pay this separate and in cash. The wifi worked great the first night, then did not work for the next 3, and they never fixed the problem despite repeated requests. I will not stay there again despite the cheap price and convenient location.

• Mary (2/5): THINGS STOLEN FROM OUR SUITCASE&STAFF HARRASSED - This is the worst hotel experience ever. The staff is rude and they are liars. We wanted to check out early and leave our suitcases there during the day. They informed us that they are at work at 8am as it is also stated on their website. We waited until 9.15 am and nobody showed up. We had government office errands to run hoping that we would be done early enough. We left them a note that we would be back later. When our work took longer, we called 21 times at the number of the hotel (I have screenshots on my phone to prove it). Nobody answered the phone. Finally when we got back, the guy was basically trying to take our bags hostage. In the end, some valuables from the bag was stolen. Also, the staff when he did not want to give our bag back, he tried to harass me with his hands. Luckily my husband was there to stop him. We went to the police to report the incident. Police informed us that we would have to go back next day to give our testimony. We had a flight next day so we did not press charges. But if I had more time, I'd report this place to the police. Not only there are multiple things were missing from our bags, but also the guy tried to get physical which is scary for any hotel establishment.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Do not expect late check in!!! - Check in hours at this hotel end at 8 PM. While they say that late check in can be arranged for a $10 fee, we received email confirmation of our late check in time, arrived at that time, and were unable to access our reserved, prepaid room. Questionable activities around the hotel and the bikini clad lady who answered the office door, unable to give us a key to that prepaid room, added to our displeasure. We had to find a new room down the street at double the cost, and they are refusing a refund. If you need a late check in, please find a hotel with 24 hour check in!!
• Milla (8/5): Ikuinen Rooma - Viiden yön visiittimme Roomaan oli mahtava. Majoitus siisti ja sisälsi kaiken tarvitsemamme, emme käyneet huoneessa muute kuin pesulla ja nukkumassa. Sijainti on todella hyvä Terminin aseman lähellä, ja asemalla on myös ostosmahdollisuudet jos haluaa huoneeseen syötävää. Huonehinta sisälsi vain aamukahvin ja croisantin läheisessä kahviossa, joten raskasruokaisempi tarvitsee lähikaupan palveluita. Henkilökunta erittäin avuliasta, kotoisa tunnelma. Erittäin hyvä vastine rahalle kun emme hakeneet luxusta vaan mukavaa yöpymispaikkaa omassa rauhassa.
• Kaliane (6/5): Útil para pouco tempo - O Hotel não possui uma recepção 24h. Está num prédio antigo próximo a estação Termini sem identificação de em que andar fica.O café da manhã é servido em bar na mesma rua do hotel e sem muitas opções de bebida ou comida e sem frutas. O hotel tem localização privilegiada e, apesar de ficar num prédio muito antigo, tem quartos com bom tamanho e muito limpos. O elevador é extremamente antigo e quebrou um dia...estávamos hospedados no 6 andar...
• Thalita (8/5): Conforto e mobilidade. - Check in rápido, porém, precisamos ligar para o proprietário nos receber e não estavamos com linha telefônica ativa no celular, o que nos fez solicitar a ligação ao comércio vizinho. O proprietário veio rápido. O quarto fica no 6o. andar e, no segundo dia, o elevador quebrou.
• Verified traveler (2/5): NO ES HOTEL!!! - Para empezar el "Hotel" Sun Moon, no es un hotel y es importante que la gente sepa esto. Es un condominio en el cual en el sexto piso hay habitaciones que se rentan como tipo hostal, pero tampoco es un hostal. Además de esto el responsable de los cuartos que se llama Stefano, es una persona grosera y déspota. No es justo que engañen a la gente y además de eso que se les dé un pésimo trato. Lo único bueno es su cercanía a Termini.
• MF (10/5): - al principio nos desilusionó bastante pero despuès de tomarnos nota de nuestros datos y reserva, nos llevaron a otro sitio cercano, que debe de estar concertado, que se llama residencia Enrica y allì nos alojaron. Todo estuvo muy bien , la habitaciòn , el desayuno , no muy abundante, pero en relaciòn con el precio estuvo bastante bien. La ubicaciòn muy buena , a menos cinco minutos de la estaciòn Termini, cerca y a la vez lo suficientemente alejada para no soportar ruidos ni el ajetreo normal de la estaciòn y el tráfico.

O check in é feito em outro hotel muito próximo,(típico em Roma em hoteis deste tipo) o senhor da recepção ( um senhor Húngaro) foi muito simpático e prestativo com a nossa chegada. O quarto é simples mas é limpo e funcional, com frigobar e ar cond. Wi fi funciona bem. O elevador é antigo e assusta um pouco, mas depois fica até divertido. O pequeno almoço (café da manhã) é bem básico, com um bolo doce à escolha (muito bons), uma bebida fresca e uma quente, nada mais. E é servido em um café há uns 200 metros do hotel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Esperienza positiva - Vicinissimo alla Stazione di Termini e quindi a pochi passi dalla stazione metro A e B e alla fermata degli autobus. Ideale per chi vuole visitare la città. La camera, gestita da un ragazzo disponibilissimo, è pulita e ordinata e vengono serviti asciugamani puliti ogni giorno. La colazione è servita in un bar a pochi metri dal posto in cui si trova il b&b. Sicuramente ci ritornerò.
• Glory So (6/5): Entrada de espanto!! - No hay recepción, nos dejaron un recado en la puerta para que llamáramos a un número, llegaron a los 10 min nos atendieron amablemente, pero el hall y el elevador sucio, tétrico, sentíamos parecía que vivían maleantes en el edificio, llegamos al piso 6 y nos asignaron una habitación en buenas condiciones, comoda, limpia, ventaja es que está cercano a Termini, desventajas el desayuno se toma a una cuadra del hotel

La salle de bain serait à rénover car très humide.

• Caro (8/5): Zentral gelegenes einfaches Hotel - Das Hotel befindet sich ganz oben in einem Wohnhaus am Bahnhof Termini. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist super. Es gibt wenige Zimmer, welche mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet und sehr sauber sind. Während unserem Aufenthalt wurden die Zimmer gerade erneuert, also wird es sicher noch etwas moderner. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück in einem nahe gelegenen Cafè ist allerdings nicht zu empfehlen (es sei denn mam mag süßes Gebäck am Morgen). Klimaanlage und Fernseher sowie Wlan sind vorhanden und gratis. Es gibt viele Bars und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Kolosseum, Vatikan, Fontana di Trevi und Spanische Treppe sind in kurzer Zeit mit der Metro erreichbar. Wer nach einem sauberen und zentralen Hotelzimmer sucht, keinerlei Luxus benötigt und das Hotel nur zum schlafen und duschen nutzt ist im SunMoon richtig. Perfekt für ein kleines Budget.
• Nadezhda (8/5): - Останавливалась на 5 ночей.Это квартира на 6 этаже в обычном жилом доме,с лифтом.Находится рядом с вокзалом Термини,но на тихой улице.Чисто,тихо,ежедневная уборка и смена полотенец,вся сантехника в хорошем состоянии,быстрый и бесплатный WI-FI.Все заявленное в бронировании присутствует и работает:фен,кондиционер,небольшой холодильник,телевизор,сейф.Завтрак(сок,кофе,круассан)в кафе на этой же улице.Вполне подходит для непродолжительного пребывания.
• Giuliana (8/5): 2 notti in un ambiente silenzioso,pulito e comodo - Sono arrivata verso le 18.15 ad aspettarmi c'era un ragazzo molto gentile, l'appartamento in cui si trova la camera è di fronte all'altro che esiste da tanto, il SUNMOON, le camere sono tutte appena ristrutturate,quindi pulitissime, io ho alloggiato in una camera molto grande con un letto matrimoniale e un lettino, un armadio ,una scrivania ed il frigo, nel bagno c'è un lavandino con i prodotti per la toilette ,la doccia, gli asciugamani . La colazione che consiste in una bevanda calda a scelta tra caffè o cappuccino o....un croissant e un succo d'arancia o ananas, viene servita nel bar al civico 7/A, dove io ho anche pranzato , il personale è cordialissimo, si ha uno sconto se si presenta il volantino fornito dal Sunmoon,le porzioni sono abbondanti, ed il cibo è buono.Il prezzo della stanza è veramente basso, li intorno ci sono degli alloggi fatiscenti e poco raccomandabili a prezzi più elevati, le camere si trovano al 6^piano di un condominio silenziosissimo, anche gli ospiti erano educatissimi e rispettosi, sinceramente non ho visto nessuno se non al bar , la reception è aperta solo poche ore al giorno ma per me non è un problema visto che si hanno le chiavi per accedervi quando si vuole. Io sono stata benissimo e tornerò sicuramente, sono soddisfatta del mio soggiorno e mi auguro di non leggere dei commenti assurdi ....in poche parole la mia descrizione è fedele a ciò che troverete se cercate dell'altro non prenotate il SunMoon .
• aurelien (4/5): convient si on attend pas grand-chose - chambre pratique, tout est dit, absence d'accueil à notre arrivée, la cage d'escalier fait peur avec son ascenseur en bois qui ne dessert pas le rez-de-chaussée, la salle de bain ou une porte de douche manque, mais sinon c'est très propre les serviettes sont changés tous les jours et nettoyage de la chambre également convient sur le souhaite pas profiter de l'hôtel mais de la ville,idéalement situé juste à côté de la gare le bon compromis pour les petits budgets

• Moe (8/5): Great room for the price. - This was my 3rd trip to Rome and I have to say I am a little upset that I didn't find this hotel sooner. I was using another hotel because the price was good and am for some reason on my way to Rome there was a last minute cancelation to my reservation. I had to find a new hotel fast and found this on. I was skeptical because I've never stayed there before but I did not regret it. It's one block away from the train station which was great because I had to catch an early flight the next morning. It is surrounded by restaurants, there's a supermarket at the train station which again is very close to this hotel. The room was great. I had a private bathroom. It only cost me about $45 or so a night. Only 5 dollars more than the cramped hotel room and shared restroom that I was using these past few times. This room was clean, I had AC, a private restroom. The only downside I found is that the doors are a little thin so you can hear what goes on in the hallway, however at night time It was very quiet. I had to pay €2 (daily charge) for wifi but it was a good signal and I really didn't mind the charge. I will definitely stay here again.
• Declan (10/5): Convenient and Value for Money - Andrea, one of the staff, was lovely upon arrival and was very helpful in recommending local restaurants. A stones throw from termini which was very handy. Don't come her expecting 5* luxury because that's not what you are paying for, but a handy, useful room! Would stay again
• lisa (2/5): Terrible hotel, must be avoided - I do not understand why this is called a hotel. We were charged for wifi, had half a cup of tea and one croissant for breakfast, fridge wasnt working, curtains were broken and so was the shower door. There was urine on the toilet seat and a thick layer of dust on the floor and fridge, there were used cotton buds in drawers and we were charged a ridiculous rate for city tax.
