• Dewi (5/5): Good for location, but very OLD rooms! - Location is excellent. Within walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee, museums, etc. Breakfast staff are very friendly and helpful. The King Suite pool view room is very old. Shower took forever to get hot, and once hot, it could not be adjusted. The handheld shower heads in both shower and tub did not work. Bathroom needs more lighting and floor tiles dirty-looking; certainly old.

I would have loved to have an electric kettle for tea in the room. I was able to get hot water from the bar downstairs.

Für Safe und Fernseher mussten wir Batterien bzw. eine Zusatzfernbedienung anfordern und es hat dann doch nicht funktioniert.

Outro ponto que me desagradou foi uma sensacao de que o hotel quer cobrar por pequenas coisas: ao chegar avisam que manchas nos Lencois e toalhas serao cobra das, no cafe da manhã (que e delicioso, mas tem poucas opcoes) cobram o pão doce (MXN 30) ou o café expresso, pedimos para ficar 2h a mais e, embora o quarto nao fosse ocupado por nenhum outro hóspede, queriam cobrar mais MXN 250. Enfim, pagando-se MXN 1530 por noite, essas pequenas cobranças dão uma péssima sensação.

The only "cautionary" note is the shower hot water. I was told to let it run for aminute for the hot water to come out. Plan on closer to 5, it will be good then.

This area is very prehistoric so it’s understandable. It was scary but it didn’t bother me, this place has a restaurant and omg the food the drinks again the staff 5+start! Another thing that surprise me even though it’s a very old building they keep it neat and AC in the rooms. Very comfortable.

• Lizbeth (10/5): Regresaría y recomiendo sobre todo comer ahi - El hotel en sí es muy pequeño, realmente si eres familia con niños no hay mucho espacio para jugar. Lo menciono porque para algunos viajeros sería importante saber este dato. Yo que iba con mi mamá y con la intención de descansar me pareció perfecto. Claro que un jardín más grande para dar la vuelta sería genial, pero vaya, descansar muy bien. Nuestra habitación era amplia, el baño, con respecto al cubículo donde está el WC y el lavabo si era incómodo, muy muy pequeño. No hay donde dejar cosas y en general esa área de baño y clóset era incómoda. Pero el resto de la habitación muy fresca, cómoda, amplia y limpia. La alberca es pequeña pero suficiente ya que realmente estábamos solas y podíamos estar tranquilas, yo lo disfruté mucho. En este hotel lo que se destaca muchiiiiiiisimo es la atención de todo el personal, son muy muy amables y eso hizo nuestra estancia aún mejor y más cómoda y amena. Pero algo que no te puedes perder definitivamente incluso si no te hospedas en sus habitaciones es ir a desayunar o comer! Tienen al mejor chef de Cuernavaca! Impresionante la comida, sazón, calidad, atención, emplatado y los costos acorde, no es baratísimo pero es que su calidad vale lo que pagas. Y como tienes desayuno incluido ai te hospedas ahí, puedes gastar un poco más en la comida sin salir de tu presupuesto y disfrutar de sus delicias. De verdad hasta tuvimos que conocer al chef y felicitarlo. Si regresaría y lo recomiendo mucho. Vas disfrutarlo.

• Andre (9/5): Charming hotel in the historic centre - Interesting architecture, close to everything. Large room with very comfortable beds and a large terrace. The breakfast was well presented and better than most hotels. Staff were friendly and helpful. They organized a driver to take us to the Xochicalco Ruins. The pool was a bir run down, with little space to sit. They kept the water temperature very warm, so the pool was best enjoyed in the evening.

The king room and the double queen room are really nice. But the double twin room is laid out in a strange configuration. Room is long and narrow, so the beds are by necessity head to head along the long wall. Check the pictures.

We told him we wanted a red/ rojo (both in Espanol and English) salsa, and he confirmed rojo and served as a green/ verde one. Also he told us extra breads were not included in the complementary breakfast only after we had ones. It is no big deal, might also be language issue (mi Espanol no muy bien).

Staff were mostly friendly. l was a little put off when checking out, though. l placed my room key on the counter, mentioned l was leaving, and said, 'Thank you for the stay'. Before l could move any further, l was asked - with some force, which was perhaps unintentional - if l had consumed any items from the room refrigerator, which was stocked with various consumables. l said l had not (l hadn't) but was made to wait until this was confirmed. l was 'granted' permission to leave after a minute or so. A strange and vaguely uncomfortable episode which soured an otherwise positive hotel experience.

• David (10/5): Jacuzzi anyone? - Wonderful place. One caveat, if they would make the pool a truly heated pool it would be fantastic. Even better install a jacuzzi with really hot water. We’ve never found this kind of facility in Mexico and I think it would be a really big draw.

• Courtney (10/5): Villa Bonita! - The staff is amazing, accommodating and so very friendly! Beautiful room and location is perfect, walkable to all the fun activities around town and wonderful restaurants! They have an incredible and fully stocked mini bar but no coffee maker!

• Sonia (10/5): - This boutique hotel is fabulous. Quaint, decorative with a beautiful outdoor patio (shaded with amazing plants and decor) . The staff is super attentive. Moises the bartender is very knowledgeable of everything local. The tourist attractions museum, cathedral and jardin borda ( a must).
