• GIPSYS (10/5): GEM IN THE VALLEY - From entering reception & being greeted by Shara, meeting Julie & Kathy the ladies whom look after the rooms to meeting Matt the security officer at the bar area... The whole experience has left me in awe, the staff are outstanding & genuinely want to help you. Also the rooms are pristine, everything you want is here. A hop, skip & jump to the bistro or bar & even the bottle shop. Thank you for welcoming me & this is will be my little place for solo road trips away from the city. (Husband can stay home 😆) N/A

• Tara (9/5): Comfy, clean, would stay again - Very comfortable beds, clean rooms and good location for what we needed. Stayed 2 nights, very comfortable mattress and pillows. Good sized room, good sized fridge and nice shower pressure. A bit noisy - walls are very thin, so take earplugs with you for a comfortable nights sleep. Parking is a bit odd, each room doesn’t have its own spot outside so it made unloading the car a little tricky.

Beautiful modern room & appliances O' if l am very picky, the access to the toilet is a bit squishy & it takes some time for the hot water to come through hot, but once it does its all good. However it has been by far the best accommodation l have experienced in decades.

The shower recess/tiles needed a good clean though. Would help to have some hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes/towel when you are showering.

• Paige (7/5): Quaint and Comfy - The bed was so comfortable and staff were friendly and caring. It wasn't as clean as Id hoped, lots of moths in the room and hairs still on shower floor. But the bed was clean and so comfy.
• Lindy Williams (9/5): Great room. Iffy customer follow up. - Small but immaculate, and comfortable room. Aircon was excellent which was needed as room was incredibly hot on first entering. Room was clean, modern and attractive. Communication from hotel is NIL. Bar staff were friendly but obviously couldnt care two hoots about accomodation side of business. No reply to emailed questions prior to checking in and stay. Accidently left an item in hotel room on checkout, and both messaged and rang management and left a message trying to organise a courier to collect it, as Im 200kms away. No response to email. No response to message left with reception. Cant get a response to attempt to recover my lost item. Bathroom was incredibly tiny, and toilet was slightly awkward to use due to placement of sink, but functional. Power point placement did not allow use of my right angled power cable because of where they were placed on bedside table. Minor issues.

All the staff were friendly and helpful with any enquiry and the room and surrounds were kept in fantastic condition. The location was great with short drives or walks to whatever you wanted.

Not sure if this is directly affiliated with the Morwell hotel but I made a booking initially at 8 which I changed to 8.30 through google. the booking was approved on google but apparently was in the system for 8. If someone had called me to confirm or inform me (as my number and email was on the confirmed google booking) then it might have saved some embarrassment. I would like to suggest that the hotel update their kitchen hours as there was no specific closing time. The actual reception for the motel room were lovely.

• ROB (8/5): Great Accomodation, crazy parking! - Great location being attached to the Hotel, made it very convenient for meals, etc Definitely the parking configuration. The parking spots outside the rooms do not line up with the rooms themselves. It’s a dogs breakfast that is as ridiculous as it is annoying. Management should really sort this out or continue receiving negative comments on an easy to fix issue!
